Restrooms Immaculate SUPER sanitary. CATFISH Nuggets delicious... ambience warm & friendly. Decor very inviting. So happy this cuisine option has come to Mamaroneck. The pasta, fish, cornbread , shrimp, scallops and darn it the Ice Cream are Phenomenal.. I am very weight conscious so I schedule my calorie intake before my dining there. Will be having a celebration dinner there next week with 2 friends .. I have lots of choices left to try on the menu.. EXCEPT the drinks.. I dont consume Alcohol EVER. No doubt the drinks are delightful too. SOMEONE else will have to rate those!!! LONG Live the Presence & Success of Baby Dukes💞💞
Saw a review in a local paper about this new place which said they specialized in fried chicken. Was in the mood for some, I ordered takeout one evening with a side of collard greens and mac n cheese. The sides were great. However, the fried chicken was completely tasteless as if they didn’t bother to season it. It had a good exterior crispness, but as bland as I’ve ever tasted. Also tried their no bake cheesecake. Not very good. Take the time to bake a real NY cheesecake. It will be worth it. Will try the restaurant one more time, just in case this was an off night for the chef.
This place is only okay. For the amount of money youll spend, you may as well go to one of the better restaurants on Mamaroneck Ave. The wings are only okay, the steak I got was also just alright, the Mac and cheese was more oil than cheese. I want to say the best part of my meal there was probably the corn bread that came with some kind of buttery cinnamon syrup. That stuff was real good. Okay experience overall, but nothing to write home about.
Was really looking forward to great food at this restaurant, but was sorely disappointed. Walking in, the place looks nice- all decorated for Halloween and the waitstaff was friendly (was never greeted by an owner/manager despite only one other table besides ours). We ordered the catfish nuggets- not appetizing at all. Plain gross. Ordered the Shrimp Po boy, it was eh- and the bread was almost stale. You want good bread for a sandwich like that. (Larchmont Tavern has one much tastier). That came with some nasty inedible coleslaw and what was obviously a Vlasic pickle (everyone loves Vlasic but you want a quality deli pickle at a restaurant!). Sesame crusted tuna was just okay, the sauce it had was the best part though. The mac and cheese was likely Velveeta and did not seem house made. The cornbread came as mini muffins that were not good, also perhaps not house made (They reminded me of those Entemanns mini bites!). The kids cheeseburger sliders were obviously frozen patties, and they were disgusting. Frozen French fries. They also arent very accommodating if you want to swap your fries for a vegetable, for example. The prices are also high. For those prices we expected high quality, house made items, not gross frozen food.
Overall the Food and service was good. Although the bbq baby back ribs were outstanding, The mac and cheese wasn’t great needed more seasoning and cheese . Overall a good place for brunch or dinner with loved ones . Or just sit at the bar and have a few during happy hour ….
I cant decide what was better, my crispy chicken sandwich or my husbands turkey burger. They were both absolutely delicious. I cant wait to go back and try more items from the menu!!! I believe they are now open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Im definitely going in to try the waffles and chicken!
Overpriced, under seasoned. The place itself is cute, we decided to try somewhere new instead of visiting Don Jito around the corner where we often go. Kinda wish we went there. I got the seafood boil and it was quite bland. The crab legs themselves were good, shrimp were a nice size but the flavoring was not up to par. Especially for $47. The fried chicken was also superrrrr bland and disappointing, the ribs were tough and the Mac and cheese was just OK. The Cajun fries were the only redeeming thing along with the drinks. The cornbread also tasted like marshmallows which wasn’t the worst thing, it was honestly quite interesting. Overall I probably wouldn’t go back for the $150 bill for 3 people who left unsatisfied. Service was good and friendly though, that’s what got this two stars instead of one 🤷🏼♀️
Staff is very very friendly, cool ambiance it’s definitely one of the more livelier places in downtown Mamaroneck. I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food was just ok. The drinks were fine, they have a good selection of things. All in all it’s a fine experience to come chill and listen to music but would go elsewhere for food.
Was very disappointed in this place overall. First, when we walked in, there was no one to greet us, and it was so loud that the team couldn’t hear we were looking to be seated. Secondly, my family had drinks but they were strong and bitter, & the food was EXTREMELY SALTY they didn’t finish it. I felt the whole time we were eating employees were watching us like a hawk, and good thing they did, as lastly THERE WAS A FLY IN MY FOOD. Not only that, but the fly was charred, which meant it was cooked with my meal. I immediately felt sick, and was ready to leave.Normally in that case, I’d hope the manager would offer to comp our whole meal but nope, they only took off my meal with the fly. To me that’s not an example of customer service, I can forgive a fly, as the door was open, but what are you going to do to make me feel I’d come back. They completely missed the mark.My entire experience was lackluster and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE.
The food is good and portion size is great the waiter was very nice and accommodating there was not too many people maybe because it was a weekday and the time which is fine the Mac n cheese can be better the salmon is amazing I gave only 4 stars because the drinks was not tasty at all they tasted watered down and overly sugary but the food is amazing if the get a new bartender it will be 5 stars
Everything here was amazing! Nancy & Marco took great care of us & were very kind. Drinks were delicious. We had the shark attack, mai tai, insane in the membrane, & the daiquiri & we enjoyed them all. The food was delicious & came out hot & quick. We had the lemon pepper wings, catfish nuggets, chicken sandwich, & the ribs! Definitely will be back.
A great time! Had oysters rockefeller,, filet mignon, spinach, potatoes, all really, really good. And I took home wings and theyre also really good even hours later. Weve been to a few restaurants in the area lately and this is the one that stood out. Cant wait to try more,

2022-03-19Tried Baby Dukes for the first time recently because the menu items looked delicious and I like supporting local businesses. I hate to post a negative review, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The negative experience began as soon as we sat down. If you weigh over 150lbs, BYOC (Bring your own chair). Larger, heavier guests will love the menu and food choices, but you will hate the seating. Small, hard, pad less trendy chairs similar to something you might find in a chipotle, but worse. You will want to stand after just 2-3 minutes in these chairs. Not ideal for sitting and enjoying some Cajun soul food & good company and conversation. Soda: we ordered Coke and expected just that. What we received was a watered down version of a generic soda that tasted more like freaky dog (which I hate). Basically the soda was disgusting. We ordered wings for an appetizer. They were also pretty bland and reminded me of the 10cent wings that were offered years ago in most bars during Monday night football. Things got even worse when I ordered my main entree. I was craving crab legs and butter. What I received was tiny snow crab legs that when opened had zero meat. The butter sauces were not traditional clarified butter. Instead they serve a butter sauce with way too much garlic and two other sauces that don’t pair well with crab legs and basically had zero taste. Other guests in our party got the po’boy sandwiches which they hated as well. They described their sandwiches as almost to food truck quality. Simply put, it’s high priced, poor quality garbage food coupled with horrible beverages and uncomfortable seating. Overall a horrible experience. The only positive thing was we had a nice waiter. Other than that, this place has a lot of work to do to earn my business in the future. However, I doubt we will ever go back.Update: I did mention the horrible food to the server. I sent my meal back and it was taken off the bill.

2022-06-21Have only had the pleasure of enjoying takeout: Crab cakes dinner first time, fried Whiting the second! Delicious, all seasoned just right and I tasted the love these dishes were made with!

2022-06-26Went back to BABY Dukes the second time and it was horrible...! I had the waitress to reheated my food. My sangria drink had no fruits 😕 in it, a flower. This was on FATHERS DAY 😒. My family was very disappointed, food was not good.

2022-03-13The quality of customer service has gone down DRASTICALLY at Baby Dukes Kitchen. I usually enjoy this place and food, but my last experience there was anything BUT enjoyable for my friends and I on Wednesday. The waitress we had was terrible! It was as if she had no interest in serving our table properly from the moment we arrived. From the stale, cold cornbread muffins that she said shed microwave instead of bringing us fresh, hot muffins, to me practically having to BEG her for drinking straws for our waters, (then she only brought one straw for three glasses of water as if we were supposed to share it amongst the three of us), to her constantly walking off in the middle of taking our order, to her bringing incomplete orders, to her not bringing one of our guests order AT ALL!Her behavior was so irritating that I just asked for the checked and we left eithout ordering entrees and went to Red Plum. Better food and WAY better customer service! There have now been two occasions in my lifetime where the server was so offensive that I felt the need to leave ZERO tip. Sadly, she earned every bit of it that evening. The only reason for two stars were the catfish nuggets. The only consistent thing about this place so far.UPDATE:My friends talked me into giving this place another chance and I shouldve gone with my instinct to stay FAR away.. I just cant get past the poor attitudes of the staff, demonstrated right here by the condescending reply from the restaurant on this review. Instead of apologizing for the poor service given and the inability of their server (because they only ever seem to have just the ONE who doubles as the bartender) to multi-task, they choose to be arrogant and proud of the horrible training (or lack of ANY) given to their staff. Since they CLEARLY dont put customer service or seasoning at the forefront of this very BLAND establishment, my advice is to go around the corner to ANY of the other establishments who will be welcoming and friendly to their patrons.Regards,

2022-03-12The food was good but I ask for a medium to well done steak and I received a raw steak. The weighers took it back to kitchen but when he came back it was still raw in the inside. I couldnt eat it. Also I only received one side never got my salad 😔
