Bagels & Co. in other cities:
I have never eaten here, so I can’t attest to the quality of the bagels. But the staff customer service is beyond excellent. I just bought some bagels to take on vacation with me to visit some former New Yorkers. My usual bagel shop was closed so I came here. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and if the bagels are good I think I’ll start coming here instead.
Outstanding bagels. Nice restaurant. Can and should be much better than it is. Great place. They need a Culinary School trained professionally trained Chef to improve the quality flavor, and selection of the food. They should serve fresh salted Fries from real potatoes.
Best kosher food in queens. Amazing bagels, pizza, salads, and lots of other goodies. Everything Ive tried here has been great. My wife and I come here all the time. They also have a quaint outdoor seating area which is really nice in the summer months. Overall a great place to either get a quick bagel or sit down for a delicious lunch.
My wife and I were introduced to Bagels & Co some years ago and a visit to New York for us both is not complete without partaking of the bagels, the salads, the soups etc. The quality over the years has been maintained at a high level. For price I believe there products to be very reasonable. There is no compromise on freshness of both the bagel, bagette etc and the fillinhs and there is no scrimping on the amount of fillings included. The service is excellent. Who needs to go elsewhere. The staff is to be commended for the quality of the components of their menu.
The food here is always fresh & tasty. I particularly like their Israeli Salad & will buy a large order to-go. I also really enjoy their coffee... it always has a smooth taste, not bitter. The restaurant is handicap-accessible, however, the ladies room is for the able-bodied/cane users. I could barely fit my rollator inside...folded. If you use a wheelchair or scooter, you wont get in. I do not know if they have another that is more accommodating so if this is an issue for you, call ahead and inquire. In addition, when this store is crowded, usually at the height of rush hour breakfast & lunch, service can be very slow & depending on who takes your order, the service can be sketchy. When I go, usually between 10-11:30 a.m., the service is very good; the staff offers to carry my tray of food to a table for me since they see I use a rollator. I would give it 5 stars if the ladies room was handicap-friendly, if they offered organic choices, & if their service was consistently positive.
Food is fresh nothing very special, coffee very good.Clean roomy place with tables inside and out. Bagels are average, they are not cooked enough so they are very soft, almost like Hoagy bread. There really isnt any other take out place near here. The price list posted on the deli refigerator where you order is out of date and when I went to pay I was told my item was $14 not $11. I said but you have it posted as $11,... sorry she said heres the new price list someone didnt change that one too bad for you ! Completely illegal and unethical..all for $3...I told the woman she has to honor the posted price by law. She said sorry heres the new price. I should have walked out.A true shyster.
Friendly eager staff, very good food, big portions, wide selection of bagel-types & spreads (also includes various types of fish), tea or coffee or beverage, plus (if you prefer) you can instead get a veggie-or-made-to-order salad or hot veggie dinner. And of course you can eat there or take out. I eat there often. Its a casual sometimes calm & sometimes bustling neighnorhood place. Note: Because (?) the owners are Jewish, the place usually closes early on Fridays & I think the place is also closed on Saturdays.
This place is awesome never eating a bagel at Dunkin again lol half a bagel can fix the hunger . And the staff are just so sweet and ready to help right away . Try the grilled cheese with tuna and hard boiled egg a staff member suggested it and it was just perfect for lunch .
*******Nasty worker there, I came instore to place, a guy become snobby, started to talk about me with he coworker. because I ask him the favor of the tuna, they dont have any labels on them..I think is names is Wayne or Marco, with dreadlock, the foods is great.. but the worker have Bad attitude, when they come to place a order, I have been there three time, Im not going back.. they Need better customer service.*******
I orderd 3 times and the first time i ordered i got egg and cheese on a bagel and they put half of a egg on the other bagel. The second time i ordered, i ordered a cream cheese on a bagel and they toasted it for 15 mins. The last time i ordered, i ordered a cream cheese on a bagel and they gave me a toasted bagel with no cream chesse.
Worst customer service Iv ever had to deal with. They put you on hold for 30 minutes and are rude and not willing to help you, and this isnt the first time theyve done it. They canceled my order and only called me 30 minutes after to tell me. Never been somewhere except here that acts this rude to a customer.
I like coming here because of the location and atmosphere but I have to say that the workers behind the counter taking orders are extremely rude, short tempered, and dont listen to you when you order....maybe its because of the early start time....although Im not sure how that can affect hearing.

2022-05-06Today I came in the afternoon at exactly 6 months from the last time I last reviewed this store. Unlike before, The bathrooms were spotless. And the owner was not even here. I think these guys got the message. This place is great for all things kosher. When I come here I always have a toasted sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese. They gave me the right amount of cream cheese. Not too much and not too little. The bathrooms were spotless and there was even two extra rolls of toilet paper left behind for peoples convenience. The music was not blaring, and the Atmosphere was conducive to an eating establishment. The right amount of lighting also. This place is great for a quick snack when you are on the run. In the mornings you might have to wait a little to order food, but it’s well worth it. There is seating in the back as well as the outside. And There are plenty of refreshments to quench your thirst . People come here to eat and have lighthearted conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

2022-02-16It is impossible to find better bagels than these guys. Prove me wrong! Just make sure you get there before 2:30pm on Fridays because they close early even though their website says 10pm. Thats not updated. Great selection of bagels, cream cheese, awesome lox, and theyre fast!

2022-06-17My toasted everything bagel was a pillowy, dense, and flavorful perfection. The cream cheese spread was more than generous. It was efficient and I was in and out within 5 min despite there being 6 ppl ahead of me. There’s a $10 minimum for card. Bagel cost $3.80.

2021-12-20They have 3 guys taking orders but they’re not allowed to use the register to ring you up. There’s 1 guy doing the register but takes coffee orders while ringing people up. I waited on line longer to pay than it took to get my 3 bagels. I ordered an untoasted bagel w/ butter. My bagel was literally dry in spots there was so little butter. Inedible! They skimped on the cream cheese too. I asked for EXTRA napkins, this guy said ma’am they’re in the bag. I’m aware that’s why I asked for extra. $17 for 3 bagels, 1 being inedible & 3 drinks and he gave me TWO extra napkins😂 Such a shame they’re cheap with the products you’re paying for, the actual bagels are good

2018-12-03I dont understand why you guys cant hire people that care about their customers. Super frustrating to come in and wait for your order longer than once should when its not busy and then get burned bagel and eggs done very halfhassardly. For real... At 12 dollars with coffee for 3 eggs and bagel is a rip off... When they come out like that. The bagel was burned and way over buttered and my eggs looked like scrambled eggs and I asked for sunny side up. I DONT EAT BROKEN EGGS FOR 12 DOLLARS.

2021-10-02Amazing bagel spot where the bagel comes first and the customer comes second! I absolutely love the bagels that come out of this place, but those guys who prepare the bagels? Yikes! Man are they scary to give your order to. There is a chain of command between them, so you’ll meet the nicer employees which tend to be younger. They rush you along due to how popular the location is which isn’t a justification by any means. Need more milk in your tea? Well take a drop of attitude with it. Have a question about a specific bagel? You might just tick one of those employees off.Give it a shot, you’ll most definitely enjoy the bagels, but don’t expect to be treated as a customer they’d like to remember.
