Dishonest, incapable, bad customer service.Went in to get several bagels, guy had to write down the order because it was a large order. Got home, one order messed up, I was fine with it. Things happen. Then realized the other orders messed up. Went back to the store to get the bagels fixed. They refused to fix anything and refused to refund, saying that it was all correct and Im making things up.Will never ho back. Make sure to check your order before you pay. Especially if you are ordering fresh lox and tomatoes. They skip lox and looks like its in there with a bunch of tomatoes.
Very disappointed how the manager treated me after i went in to complain about an order, ( they made two wrong sandwiches out of a large order) I go in there all the time and she was rude, to fix the problem she just had to replace the gross sandwiches I didn’t order, instead I was told that on a busy friday she didn’t remember me being there and she will check the cameras but never called me back, I use to go in there all the time but service really went down hill. Won’t go there any more.I did call ( we were away the weekend) but i was put on hold and was told the manager wasn’t there to call back or come in and speak to them, that was the second time I came in to speak to you, i left my phone number and still no call back,
Just moved to Staten Island from Brooklyn. BK has top notch bagels and this spot is absolulty up there. 3rd bagel place in S.i. eltingville neighborhood and is #1. Healthy portions but Place is way to expensive tho.

I went there on Saturday about 12:30 and I was surprised how busy was that placee. It was my first time there. I order two wraps the guy who do my order he took very good care of me and order was done within 5 minutes. Absolutely recommend to everybody. Excellent selection of all kind of cream cheese.
Always in search of a good bagel spot. So of course had to give this place a try. Ordered the everything bagel. The bagel is generously seasoned one both sides which is a plus . They are a bit pricey FYI . As far as bite good outer layer soft inside and descent taste to it. My score for the bagel is a 7 which is good but not great score in my book. As far as my experience ordering the gentleman taking payments could use a course on smiling to customers. The owner lady isn’t so friendly either. I shop based off good food and good customer service. I will not be returning to this place because of the experience.
The bagels are good but what makes them better for me is that there isnt a long wait. I have this bagel place near me that has amazing bagels, but you have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes to even get to the front and order, so for me its always a balance between quality of the food and time waiting for your food. Not the best bagels Ive ever had but the wait is good making it a 4 star experience.I also like that they have a large selection of cream cheese. We tried the Nutella cream cheese which was ok. Different. I would go back and check this place out again and try different flavors of cream cheese.. Probably savory next time.

This has been my go-to Bagel place for a number of years however, as of late Ive noticed that theyve become rather stingy with the spread. I expected more not less especially with the price increase. May have to explore other options.

Love the place. However last week while stopping there in the evening around 9 PM. I had the guy behind the counter ask me whether I have gotten my covid vaccine yet. My response was to ask him if I had ever signed a hippa form that would allow him to gather my personal health information. Not cool at all.

So good. Such a selection of bagels ranging from everything to pumpkin to jalapeno. The unique spreads are so good. Ive been all around Staten Island and New Jersey and I cant find a better bagel shop. On top of that there 24/7 like what a place!
The bagels here are fantastic! I would recommend 100% Theyre huge and very yummy. Everyone is very friendly and nice. They have a bunch of unique donuts. Like fruity pebbles, cinnamon toast crunch and more. We paid $6 for three bagels with cream cheese and butter. Which is a great price for how huge they are!
Bagels are ok but definitely not as good as a year or so ago. Get very hard after 7-8am must of changed receipe. Very expensive $$$$ and when I asked why prices are ridiculously high register person was lost for words and said well I guess our stuff is better. I laughed.Anyway good selection of groceries and fresh food.
Once again, another wrong order given to me. I go here a lot and every 10 orders, 8 are wrong. They have great bagels, but there are not any other bagel places near me. Any egg sandwich is 80% going to be made incorrectly at night, or made with old pre made eggs. If you live this place and order in the morning, watch how they pre make the eggs and use a stale 2 egg scramble before you receive it. At night, its dealers choice. Ask for salt pepper ketchup. Might as well just put it on youself at home.
Good bagels and coffee but I find their prices a little high for what you get! Their gluten free bagels are store bought (supermarket frozen) not homemade so dont expect anything more than that. 3.5 stars is what I would more accurately rate the place.

UPDATE: None of them wear masks. Half the food preparers have no masks, the rest have their noses exposed. They dont enforce social distancing on their queues.Its a decent enough bagel store but there are better nearby especially across the street from elltingville train station. Service is great, place looks spotless and the prep area is in full view. Their breakfast grill stays on past 1pm for things like egg sandwiches on bagels which is why I end up eating there rather than the aforementioned better place. Still, it tastes very good and is usually fresh.
Best bagels in S.I. They make fresh all day and night, even in the middle of the night/early Morning 3-4am you can get a good bagel when other places havent even opened yet. Good iced coffee as well and staff is friendly and appreciative of your business.
New ownership. Not run well. Deli & bagel orders are wrong, even if you give them a list. Bagels are sometimes undercooked.Been there over a dozen times and each time a customer is complaining.2 stars because when they get things right, its really good.But, going to go to another bagel place farther, that I use to go to.
Honestly love this place and i’ve gone here for hears, but the last few times i went they messed up my order, every time. The new guy making the sandwiches just didn’t care tbh.

Great food, great-friendly-helpful staff and the customers are friendly as well. Coffee is always fresh. The have the most flavor options I have ever seen. Hennessy Cream cheese, cereal bagels, and a variety of Coffee flavors like chocolate raspberry are just to name a few. Iced Coffee is delicious with the milk and sugar. And when you are trying to rush in the morning, they have really fast service. Im usually in and out in about 5 minutes depending on what I order. And the Bagels are soft and chewy, some of the best on the island. Ive seen them set up free face painting for Halloween for the kids. No complaints. One of my favorite go to spots.
Ive always gone here for bagels and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches way back when they were known as Armstrong Bagels. Now its called Bagels r Us. They still kept that quick service and still offer a variety of bagels and cream cheese options.

They changed the way they make their bagels it use to be really the best now it’s mediocre. Bagel is not as fresh anymore they’re like hockey pucks by 7 am.
Great bagels and deff offering up some different types of bagels like cereal dipped bagels. They also experiment with different types of cream cheeses like avocado cream cheese, oreo cookie cream cheese, etc. Place is clean and upscale doesnt look like a regular bagel shop you see on the island.
I felt like a kid in a candy store! I couldnt decide so I got a bunch of the individual sized cream cheeses and one each of every specialty bagel they had!Loved the store, loved the staff and loved the fireball cream cheese! I will definitely be going back.

This is a great local bagel shop that is open 24 hours a day. theres also a decent selection of grocery products, as well as hot and cold sandwiches. They also provide a large selection of deli meats, as well as beverages (including beer).

Quite possible the best place on Staten Island to get bagels and deli sandwiches. Their selection is second to none with specialty flavored bagels such as lucky charms and cinnamon toast crunch. There is even a broad selection of cream cheese and butter flavors to compliment the bagels. There are premade meals in their refrigerator for a quick bite on the go. The staff is always friendly and promp. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good deli on the south shore.
There chain is all about convenience. Open 24/7 and managed well enough with a 3 shift rotation but filled with employees who simply dont care about what they are selling. Dont bother making complaints of the food, nothing makes its way up the chain. They spend a ton of money on the kitchen and the food and from what I can see nothing much except sandwiches sell. Despite many things being made onsite the quality is simply poor, tasteless and unless your taste buds are fried, youll quickly learn this. Get in grab your sandwhich and coffee and go about your day. Try not to stay there too long either since they never turn on there kitchen fans when cooking so youll leave smelling like there kitchen all day long in your fresh clothes. Hopefully they will fix these mistakes and get more stars but if nothing roles up hill from the staff to the manager, nothing will change.

I understand the enthusiasm about this place, especially if you like exotic bagels flavors with your favorite childhood sugary cereals, like Reeses Puffs. But I wasnt crazy about my whole wheat bagel--it seemed somewhat flavorless compared to some of the other bagel places nearby.

They have bagels. Well Id hope so with a name like Bagels R Us. They have boozy cream cheese. They have bagels that seem more closely related to sugary breakfast cereals than a traditional poppy seed or onion bagel. But they have those too.
The bagels are awesome. Whenever Im visiting Mom I always try to bring some home and freeze them.Update 21SEP19: Past couple of months when I come to visit, Ill stop by to buy sandwiches, salads, etc. so I can take Mom to the marina for lunch. Lately, they cant get it right. One time they leave out the cole slaw I paid for. Today, I specifically asked for forks and some napkins. Received a handful of knives and no napkins. Might be time to look elsewhere.

Ok they have google bagels and flavored cream cheese, the deli is either kinda fresh or maybe not, no one can answer that question. Try calling them between noon and 2pm the phone is purposely left off the hook and I honestly only go there because I get my hair done very close by. Keep the cream cheese and answer your phone!

A little disappointed with the price. Sign says 2 egg, meat and cheese 4.50.I ordered a Bacon egg and Cheese (clearly a meat) and was charged 5.43.Girl behind the counter looked at me like Im stupid for trying to challenge thier price when its clearly posted. Wasnt even all that!
The employees are friendly and the food tasted great. Another plus is that they accept debit/credit payments no matter if youre buying one bagel or getting something more expensive. This is something thats lost on other businesses on the Island.

I remember the first time going there, I coincidentally saw the ad for BAGELS R US on Facebook that same day and recognized the female manager there, shocked I asked and she confirmed it. I remember the hispanic dude behind the counter encouraged me to ask her to sign my bagel, and I playfully did and she signed, I encourage others to do the same, for fun. The bagels here are almost as good as the staff, but that one funny hispanic dude(wish i knew his name) is what keeps me coming back.
Love this place is have been going there for years, very clean, great food. The only problem I have is that they make up prices as they go along. I can order the same exact thing 2 days in a row, and its a different price. It happens all the time. The people in the morning, afternoon, and night are not on the same page. Also they are really expensive as far as delis go.

Most expensive deli on staten island. I bought milk from here 2x and 2x the milk only lasted 2 days before it went sour. I told the owner about this and not only does he not do anything about it but he did not even offer any credit. And he sells bacon for $26.99 a pound if you want it on a sandwich. I will never go here again.
5dollars for a bacon egg n cheese is ridiculous. 15 dollars for 2 bagels with b.e.c and 4 dollar pasta salad came to 15 and change. Thats a bit much

I have been a loyal customer for years, even through the changes, but no more. twice that I have gone there around 12:30am I would be the only one there I order something. Others come in and get there orders first. Guess what I was forgotten about. I will never return again.

I order Butter bagel was burnt, eggs with bacon and cheese missing cheese eggs was overdone it’s expensive for slop
Ok I like this place the people were nice to me every time I went in there.....the food is great...only thing that bothered me is sometimes I would pay a different price when I order the same thing almost every day....
Friendly quick service , if you pick the right time. This is a busy place, so you Know everything is fresh..

2022-03-28If you don’t get your bagels or breakfast from here, you’re not doing it right. There will be long lines, especially on the weekends. Their options for bagels, cream cheeses and other spreads are monumental—there’s got to be hundreds of different combinations you can try. Their self-serve coffee station is great. Service is surprisingly fast and prices are very fair.

2022-06-29Drove from Queens to give this place a try and was really impressed. Got a handful of bagels and bacon and cheese on a bagel and was very impressed. Got a couple plain, a couple blueberry and an everything. They were all really filling and tasty. The bacon and cheese bagel was piled high with bacon and was a good value at $4.99. Id come by here again if I was in Staten Island.

2022-03-10The place is always crowded. Very fast service. Large varieties of spreads for bagels. Fresh coldcuts. Very friendly workers! They have fresh fruit in containers. Also they have already prepared food. This place has so much delicious stuff you want to buy everything

2022-04-05Great bagels and good quality but BEWARE I’ve got charged 3 different prices on 3 separate days. The reason for that was because “ the price of fresh lox went up” which is complete bullcrap unless their own supplier is overcharging them

2021-02-27This place has such a large array of food (breakfast/lunch) to choose from. Their bagels are made fresh and are so soft! They have a plethora of flavors of muffins, bagels (Rainbow too) and spreads. Their coffee is delicious and not burnt like some places have.

2022-03-27I went to this place 4 times in one week, then they decided on the 4th time to charge me more. I told the guy and then he said ok give me what you have but for now on this is the price. I dont know if it is because I have disabilities but I thought that was messed up. Im not going there anymore, besides money is too tight now anyways. I have a feeling this place does not like people with autism. I hope this helps someone. be well.UPDATE: 3 times I was charged $5.47 thats with tax then you wanted to charge me $6:54, thats a big difference for just a few days apart.
