Ive never really like writing reviews but after my visit yesterday I have the need to write the review. I’ve been seeing this practice facility for years, normally I’d seen NP Daniele Sheehan and she was great and caring but she moved on to continue her school, so I finally got to meet Dr. Bailyn, and I must say that he’s so amazing, warmth and caring. And whenever I see him he made me feel comfortable and always took his time without feeling rushing which some doctors would do when they have another appointment. The facility itself very clean and the staff are very friendly. Let’s just say I finally found “The One”.
I have been seeing Danielle Scharp NP at Dr. Bailyn’s office for four years. She is amazing! She is so caring and spends time at each appointment answering all my questions. She also reaches out in between my visits to check in. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new primary care practice in Lower Manhattan.
Dr Bailyn is wonderful doc. He explains everything in detail and you can discuss all your health problem with ease.
I called the office just for an annual check up. And the front desk receptionist, Danielle Sheenhan was very rude. I never experienced that at this Doctors office ever! Everyone, Rose, Dr. Bailyn and the other front desk receptionist has always been very nice and accommodating. Dr. Bailyn was referred to me from a former co worker whom is a nurse at a charter school. I informed her that I only get a wellness check up every few years, I dont feel I need a check every year. She was very reluctant to take my number and give it to the doctor. I almost felt like I was begging her. I really dont want to see another PCP I was comfortable with him, when I did see him....Danielle Sheehan should not be answering the phones her customer service skills are at a all time low!
Dr. Bailyn and his associates are fantastic. The front desk is friendly, thoughtful, and efficient. Dr. Bailyn himself is very professional and knowledgeable while also being practical and common sense. I highly recommend this office!
Staff at front desk and nurse were friendly and helpful. The doc was cool and caring as always. The new offices were nice too (haven’t been there in a couple of years)
Dr. Bailyn is undoubtedly one of the best doctors in New York City and a rare gem. He is caring, thorough, informed, and extremely professional. At the same time, warm and approachable. You always feel your health of of great concern to him. His nurse, Connie is lovely too. I now travel a bit to see him, but I can’t imagine finding anyone I trust (and like) as much.
The perfect visit. They took me exactly on time. The staff was pleasant and efficient. And Dr. Bailyn took his time, and was thorough and interested in my health.
Dr. Bailyn is an insightful, intelligent, caring, talented, friendly and highly professional physician. He is a patient listener and answers questions clearly and thoroughly. You feel cared for—never rushed or “processed”—which in my experience is a truly amazing achievement these days. The staff is welcoming, friendly, professional, and prepared for your visit. Not a moment is wasted. I highly recommend this practice and I feel fortunate to have discovered it when I did several years ago. Thank you, Dr. Bailyn!
I feel lucky to have Dr Bailyn as my health provider for so many years! He is current in his knowledge and gives expert medical advice. He listens and spends time addressing my concerns. My husband is his patient too. Love the new office space!
Very family oriented style practice. Dr. Bailyn is an extremely genuine and caring doctor. I recently moved to the area for work and needed a routine exam. Very easy to schedule an appointment. Didnt have to wait long to see him either which is uncommon from previous experiences with Doctor offices. Highly recommend!
I have been seeing Dr. Bailyn for many years, and due to some insurance issues I unfortunately had to switch doctors for a few years. As soon as I could switch back, I did! As a woman of small stature with a somewhat complicated medical history, Ive found that not all doctors treat me with respect and kindness, but he definitely does! Ive been happy to recommend his practice to friends and coworkers.
Katrina was great! Very prompt, friendly, thorough, and took her time. It’s great to find someone that attentive with their patients in the city. Highly recommend!
The office is clean and the professional staff very helpful. Most of all, Dr.Bailyn is an easy to talk to doctor who makes you feel very much at ease and doesnt rush you at all. Happy to have found this doctor in NYC. Highly recommend.

Ive been seeing Dr Bailyn for over 10 years. He is good at what he does, pleasant to interact with as is his staff. He spends time getting to know and understand his patients before making recommendations. I dont live anywhere near his office but I keep going back because its totally worth it. The office is very efficient It seems. Takes any urine test right from the start as you wait. Then they take the blood and do any shots ... then you wait for the doctor. Dr. Bailyn is very friendly and knows how to build good rapport. Felt comfortable with him right away.
From the Front Desk, & Connie to Dr. Bailyn, everyone was professional, courteous and friendly. And I appreciate the Covid-19 precautions-including air purifiers. Thank you.

I highly recommend Dr. Bailyn! I’d been searching for a PCP for quite a while, and was recommended to him just in time to deal with a worsening health challenge. His office and staff are pleasant, helpful, and very efficient, their portal provides quick test results and responses to questions, and Dr. Bailyn himself is also pleasant, obviously knowledgable, and recommended specialists who are as well. An unusual and fortunate find these days.
I’ve been with Dr. Bailyn for little over two years now. Everyone is always very cordial and direct. I needed a quick appointment today and he was able to fit me in within hours. I know it won’t always be the case but for today, I’m very grateful the schedule allowed.
Danielle Sheehan is an amazing nurse practitioner. I see her whenever I need to go in.She’s extremely helpful and always seems to have a great attitude.I couldn’t recommend this place more, I’ve moved to a different part of the city, but still traveled down here to the office.
Ive been going to Dr. Bailyn for 3 years now ever since I moved to NYC and hes been excellent. He always gives me his full attention when Im there, has referred me to excellent specialists whenever Ive needed it and truly shows that he cares. Its not easy finding a doctor in NYC who doesnt rush you out of the office just to get to their next patient but Ive never had that issue with Dr. Bailyn.He also doesnt try to diagnose things that he believes a specialist should look at, which I have a lot of respect for since GPs love to act like they know everything and misdiagnose things all the time and just prescribe meds without being 100% certain... you wont have that problem with him. Highly recommend him as a GP.
Just saw Danielle Sheehan, NP, and she was hands down the best internist Ive seen. Great bedside manner, thorough, good listener, and she delivers trustworthy, holistic diagnoses. Im so happy I found this practice; I only wish I had found them sooner than 8 years after Ive been in NYC! Its so hard to find good, patient and trustworthy drs in NY.

I really liked Dr Bailyn, he was on time and got me the medicines I needed in a timely matter. However, its the 4th time I am calling about my prescription that wasnt correctly assigned to the home delivery. Process very inefficient, would not recommend.

I usually dont write reviews, but this was a very poor experience. I show up on Friday for a basic physical. First, I dont meet a doctor. They only have a PA to see me. Takes blood pressure (high). Next, after I had been fasting all day, they inform me they cant take my blood (short staffed was the reason). But they send me down the street to LabCorp to get blood. Oh, but they sent me down the street after LabCorp had closed. Sooooo, monday off I go to get blood from LabCorp (nice place). Thats done. Was told results take 2 days. Friday comes, no results. I have to e-mail them. Then they say oh yes they came, you have high cholesterol also, change your diet and exercise and check back in 3 months. WHAT!!!!!! So a history of heart disease, im 47 (same age when my grandfather got his first heart attack), and have high cholesterol and high blood pressure, no check of plaque build up, nothing????This place. Seriously. They really, really, dont care. Avoid......
Dr. Bailyn is not only a great doctor but he is a a true gentleman. Always a pleasure to see him.

2022-06-16I met with Dr. Bailyn for the first time today. He was very personable and listened without giving me a rushed feeling at all. I barely waited to get a room and to meet with the doctor. So far I’ve had a great experience!

2022-08-16First and foremost I give this physician a one star rating, why? Because on the day of my first visit which was September 13th 2021 I went to the office fasting, as in an empty stomach and all I had was black coffee and no food because they had to do blood work. I was seen by a Male Nurse Practicioner and when he checked my blood pressure, it was very high in the 200s, and I didnt like it when he said that I had to go to the hospital in which I refused because I dont want to feel worse(I guess because of my skin color I feel like he is pushing me to go to the ER) and I was scared, I was only 37 at that time. So he gave me another option to take the pills and I told him if I can have some crackers because I dont want to take any chances of taking blood pressure medication in an empty stomac, so he was nice enough to bring some cracker,s i ate them and took the meds. My blood pressure went down to the normal and Im glad I refuse to go to the hospital when I wasnt feeling any symptoms of hypertension. The next 3 days my anxiety got triggered when I received my blood work results stating that I have high cholesterol. Months later the blood pressure medication he prescribed me was 10mg-12.5mg and I kid you not the side effects of those pills were causing my blood pressure to be borderline normal and low, I was also experiencing dizziness and near faint moments from the side effects. I asked the Nurse Practicioner if he can lower the milligrams of my blood pressure medication and he said no, he stated that if he lowers the milligrams of my blood pressure medication, he would have to raise the milligrams of my cholesterol meds. That just shows that he is being biased against my medical concerns and pushing more milligrams, sorry Im not going to please him by suffering and jeopardizing my well being for illness and suffering, I have my life ahead of me to enjoy. I wouldnt recommend no one to go to this practice, Dr. Bailyn is never present at this location in Lower Manhattan and 2) I dont feel comfortable riding on the J train in an empty stomach because of my fears an anxieties of fainting while fasting........nope I wouldnt recommend none of yall to go, dont even bother! Thankfully I listened to many people whom told me to find a second opinion and Ive Decided to change doctors. This doctor is a waste of my time verbally, emotionally and physically. He deserves a one star or none for being biased and stuff.PS: they should ban the $100.00 fee for not showing up for your appointment, it is illegal to charge a patient $100.00 dollars for no show to his/her appointment.....yall should be ashamed of yourselves!

2021-10-14I did the annual check up and some vaccines with a physician at Dr. Bailyn’s office. Doctors and nurses were very nice and highly professional, they listened and answered all questions I had. Waiting time was only 5 minutes. I got the lab results next day after my visit which was impressive! Doctor Katrina explained all my results on the portal and respond some questions I had rapidly. It was one of the best experience in NYC. I am very happy to find a physician I can rely on. I will come again!

2021-10-15I have been going to Dr. Bailyn for years now. Each visit I am greeted by a very friendly staff. Everyone from the front desk, nurses and Dr. Bailyn are easy to talk to. I do not recall a time where I had to wait more than 5 minutes past my scheduled exam. If anything I get called early. Dr. Bailyn is an excellent doctor and will take the time to talk to you and get to you know.

2022-08-24I have been a patient of Katrina for a short time but in that short time I have been taken care of so well . She responds to my questions promptly she makes sure that I’m on top of my health. She is very caring knowledgeable kind prompt. She really cares about your well being. My results are quickly given to me and whatever else that I would need to be well. The whole staff is just very friendly and helpful. I’m so glad I found them thru zodoc. I truly appreciate everyone there and I honestly recommend their services. Thank you guys.❤️

Dr Bailyn takes the time to articulate all facets of your care and appointment in addition to being a compassionate physician and answering all of your questions in detail. All the staff at the practice are also very friendly and helpful.
