It’s a very cute little farm and admission is reasonably priced compared to the other places ($6 per person). However, we went yesterday and were swarmed by bees. I don’t mean a few bees here or there which you fully expect at a farm. I mean each of us was being followed by 5+ bees at all times and they were actually landing on us. The bees were much worse by the animals which was so disappointing because my daughter loves them and they had some adorable baby goats. We had planned to spend a few hours at the farm but after 15 minutes we couldn’t take it anymore and had to leave and saw many other families doing the same. I’ve heard other people rave about this place and never mention the bees, so I’m not sure if it’s just this time of year or if this is a regular problem there.
Every time we try to take our kids to enjoy this beautiful farm we get disappointed. There hours are never true to the website. We tried again on Monday. We saw the gates open. We park. We saw 5 other kids playing. My kids run out in excitement but they stopped us bc they had a camp running. Now you’re telling me that you won’t allow us to pay for the day bc you only Have 5 kids in camp? It’s a big farm and you can’t accept other kids ? We wanted to buy a couple of things as well. Very upsetting that they couldn’t allow others to play while the camp was picking flowers
Such a fun farm to visit, plenty to do and see and reasonable cover fee for all activities. Their seasonal treats; roasted corn, apple cider doughnuts, etc. were AMAZING! Love that its only a few minutes from home. Did great regarding covid as well, sanitizer spray at every activity, masks worn, fun and safe!
Came across this farm in our travels, the owners are very friendly, and there are a plethora of things to do here, including getting shears to clip your own giant sunflowers🌻 We purchased the last Bumble Berry Crisp... the pies seems to fly off the shelves. The animal farm brought back memories of my youth in Italy. The animals are very clean and well cared for.
The kind of local place we should all be supporting...you can scratch a cows back, have a good beer, grab some bacon jam, a homemade pie and have a convo with a bartender who has a genuine smile, an enthusiastic attitude and three friendly dogs with him behind the bar, all while the kids playing on the slides with country music playing in the background . Hell. Yes. !
We love this place and this family. Best pies...better than briermier. And the animals are so sweet. Justin was so great with my kids... You can tell this is his dream. And his mom in the front making and selling pies, baked goods and more is such a wonderful lady. I know they have lots of ideas for the future. Excited to have this in our community. Highly recommend.
We stopped by for corn. This corn, this late in the season was the best we had (maybe ever) we also saw the pies and bought an apple pie which was very good. Lastly we bought apple cider doughnuts which were also good. They had animals for the kids to see. The hardest part was making a left out of there.
The owner is such a sweetheart. She put a small tree aside for me and held it for a week when I was able to pick it up. Her son waited for me to arrive even though they were closing. Very nice people and we have a perfect little Christmas tree for our apartment. Thank you!!
My kids love this place but today I have experienced the most a shameful to this farm scene. The owner was arguing with someone who was taking pictures behind the fence and lost it when he said F word not too far from us. Now, if I heard it, this means my kids heard it as well.Im sorry but I cannot take my kids here anymore.
I had passed this farm a couple of times and finally had a chance to visit. The employees are very friendly, the little shop cute, and there are animals. The playground is rundown, but sufficient. The shepherd is aggressive with the goats and chickens. I do understand these breeds have jobs. Still, it was much, his agression towards the goats while my toddler was trying to feed them was overbearing. He knocked her over a few times, I ended up carrying her since his posture was intimidating. There was also a pig walking loose. Hes cute, but bit my daughter as she walked past him, luckily the skin did not break. I understand animals can bite, and I have worked alongside wildlife and farms but honestly, this seemes like a major event waiting to happen. I dont think well go back.
This place is very unpleasant, we had a very bad experience with the owner and speaking bad words in front of the children and insulting people and the poor little animals have them very badly, apparently they do not give them food or water ... not recommended the children go out traumatized by the owners attitude ...

2021-06-04They have the best banana chocolate chip loaf I have every had! My only regret is not trying this place sooner. I literally was there 30 minutes ago and soon as my wife and I walked in we tried the loaf, we were both amazed. The staff is very friendly and the animals seem to be well taking care of. We will be back within a few days for another visit and try some more goodies.

2021-05-30Stopped here for some very last minute Mothers Day gifts. Bought 2 hanging baskets, a Grow Your Own Sunflower kit, and a bunch of baked goods. The pies and lemon loaf were delicious. The hanging baskets are still full of flowers. The sunflower kit had exactly 12 seeds. I thought there was no way all 12 seeds would grow, but we have 12 plants now. My wife is very happy.
