A bit expensive but this is clearly a top tier shop. I was more then happy to pay a bit extra for the quality I received.

2020-09-09I had such an amazing experience! I know absolutely nothing about cars and I am new to the area. I was looking for a mechanic Shop I can trust, somewhere I can take my car and not have to worry about it! Needless to say I found more than I could EVER hope for. When I got there Karem took my car had one of the guys drive me to work! He called and kept me updated the entire time and when I picked up my car the next 2 days! He did extra work on my car and I went in with my daughter who he not only acknowledged but he gave her bags of cookies! I wish there were more stars ⭐️ to give! Exceptional service! I would recommend to everyone I care about! I am relieved to know that I have a place I can truly trust and rely on!

2021-05-06These guys seems like they will take care of you but all they will do is take advantage if you give them the opportunity. I brought my SUV there to get repaired with an issue with a transmission line that they did fix with no issue but when it came to servicing the transmission these guys over filled my transmission well beyond the correct fluid level by 3 liters, didn’t install the pan gasket correctly causing fluid leaks and changed my transfer case fluid (with the Wrong fluid) without my permission even though I told the shop foreman no when he requested to do it. They had my SUVs transmission shifting all type of crazy until I got the issue solved that they caused and didn’t want to even look at my car after I told them what was going on. Do Not Trust Them. Horrible techs that are straight crooks and do rush jobs on your vehicle.

2021-09-04I had called Thursday morning and they told me to come in. Then, after taking a look at my car they had asked me to return today, Saturday morning at. 7am-7:30am. I have been here since 7:05am and they have yet to arrive and it is currently 8:05am. I lost sleep and time out of my day. I’m never coming here againUpdate: it was 8:20am and they had yet to open

2019-09-28Took my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta in for brake lights, the nice older gentleman takes out my headlight within 10 minutes and replaces the bulb free of charge without even asking me for any money. I went back in a day later to get my brake light switch fixed he diagnosed the problem quickly, I left my car with him he called me once it was ready! 5 stars :) great honest hardworking mechanic!!!

2020-07-14Ill be honest that I didnt even make it into the shop because of the bad customer service on the phone. I called many other shops and stores and called Baldwin auto looking for a part, they said they had it. When I called again to ask some questions about the part, I was cut off and told no no no, Im not doing this. You come in and I do it for you. After this I asked my second question about cost and he hung up. Why would I want to go there and get a part installed in my car after being hung up on? Im not blindly paying for any parts without knowing the description of it. Very rude.

2019-12-18This Auto Repair Shop is a Long Island Treasure. Heres why. First of all they are the extremely rare shop that is not only highly competent, but also honest & fairly priced. I had a nightmarish situation with my VW Cabrio. It wouldnt pass inspection and neither of two different auto repair shops i took the car to were able to fix the problem which was causing the car to fail inspection.. The 2nd shop told me-- the electrical problem is a needle in a haystack...we cant deal with it With a bit of luck, i found Baldwin Auto Service. They fixed the problem, successfully inspected the car, attached the new sticker and charged me a profoundly fair price. If that werent enough , a month later i was having another problem. After some online research, i discovered that i would need to replace a certain part. I bought the part, but was unable to install it myself. I took car & part to Baldwin Auto & they quickly installed the part, No Charge!

2013-03-16I am so thankful to the guys at Baldwin Auto Service! They did a great job at taking care of my car! I was driving without heat for the longest, and they quickly solved the issue. Their service is great and the stuff is super friendly!
