It is a really nice park with lots of space and a playground for kids to play. There is a soccer field tennis court handball court basketball court. Only problem the day I went was a woman had her dog off the leash. She wasnt paying attention to him and he kept running after people and barking at them. It was a bit scary.
Needs some TLC. Bleechers need repair and rebuilds. Fields need to be overhauled. Still a great place to watch the kids play baseball, softball and soccer. Parrots and Osprey flying overhead make a purely Baldwin experience.
This park is really nice, kept very clean. People are nice and mostly keep to them self. Very family orientated so.if you have kids you will like it. Favorite part is the parking!
Beautiful! However, there is very little shade when it is very sunny and hot at the playground area. Also, no pool for the kids in this enormous park.
The park has a nice two mile path plus a dog park and baseball fields. I think the town needs to put a little more effort in sprucing up the park. Watch out for the goose droppings :)

When washrooms are super clean, what more do you want from a beautiful park which meets the needs of just about everyone.
Do not go to this park after sunset. Mosquitoes and flies invade the park since this park is near a salt marsh. Also, when leaving the park, forgot to stop at a stop sign since I couldnt see the sign and some random guy yells out something offensive I believe.
I am a former long time resident of Troy literally growing up in this park and it looks Great! Sure they no longer have the giant rope Eifel Tower or the big monolithic pyramids with tunnels running through them but times have changed and those were dangerous. Absolutely love the Landscaping! Keep up the great work!
Beautiful Park, restrooms clean, HOWEVER staff needs to make sure there is plenty of toilet tissue available, especially during softball games or any scheduled sporting events! Make sure you carry your own toilet paper just in case!

Nice field for little league game. Clean with garbage bins easily accessible as well as close by bathrooms. Infield was all dirt, typical in my fields these days, but overall a decent park.
Baldwin Park was an excellent place to play a baseball game at for sure. Well lit, and the field was maintained very well.
The park is pretty nice. It is bigger than you expect. The playground has lots of equipment to play on . The downside is while the playground was open the bathrooms were not! They should be open when the playground are is open. They have Tennis courts, a roller hockey area as well as skate board areas. Plus there are 2 softball fields . Also there is a small playground area not far from the softball fields. Another star in summer when they have bathrooms open (they need to be update! No changing table!!). I forgot they do have basketball. And hand ball [ Bring your own equiptment].picnics are allowed but with a permit only.
Baldwin Park is centrally located in a medium size town of Baldwin, Long Island. A lovely town to live and raise a family. The park is grand and large enough to walk around a few times and feel refreshed. It was slightly cold out that day so we just rode around the park and enjoyed the peace and serenity and watched nature at its best. A beautiful sunset was emerging over the horizon as we exited the park.

Great park except the Basketball courts DO NOT CLOSE @11:00P.M.!!! They close at 10:00 and, depending on who is controlling the switch that night, theyll give you some warning.
Very spacious and well kept. There is parking and users are well behaved. I love this park.

Baldwin Park is a small park compared to most, but has a lot of fields and courts for everything. The location is right next to the water and also the middle school. There is a lot of parking available. There is also a walking trail that is a great way to explore the whole park. They have arrows to help you stay on track. The middle school also has a walking / running track if you want to use that instead, but it might be closed off. When you first get in through the grand ave entrance you will pass the administration building and the baseball fields. Past that is the soccer and skate park. Continuing down is the roller hockey rink and tennis / basketball courts. There is also a big open field facing the middle school track that is usually used in events in the park. The park also has a kids area. One of the minor issues that Ive come across is that the basketball courts only have a few nets that arent cut up or taken off. Those courts are usually taken fast. Also the roller hockey rink nets have holes in them. The parking lot where the basketball courts are has faded parking lines and some rough road. Overall a really nice park to take your kids and family on a nice day.
Very well maintained, Excellent Manacured Fields, Wonderful staff And overall a great experience to Enjoy this park With all of the amenities! Also includes a skateboard ramp park, Dry Hockey rink, Handball court, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Multiple fields for sports games, and a bike path!
The guys who maintain Baldwin Park work very hard to make it look as nice as it is. Its a great place to go to walk and take your kids the only thing is I wish they had a dog park there.

I have been there once last year, you can have great views from there, family and athletes have a nice place there, I noticed this park has a great meaning for locals, it is quite symbolic
Great place to take the family big park by the water lots to do on a sunny day theres not too many better places to bring your kid to waste a couple of hours running around and playing
Its ok not perfect thought there alot of double rims and the single rim are loose and the paint is faded plus there are no water fountains, and as a suggestion the fence should be replaced by plastic or something solid for wind issues.
All I know of this place are the nice ball fields and clean restrooms.

Baldwin park is a very fun park. I hang out there from time to time and its a really fun place to spend time in.

Really a good scenic place, over looks the water ... with the Mansions on the costal rim near the water. Alot of various sport related fields.

2019-04-19Kid loved it. A bit slippery in spots and windy. Lots of rails and a few ramps, a lot of things look like they move around so you can configure how you want. Doesnt show on gps easy. 2021-08-18Decent park. Lots of baseball action on multiple diamonds, but sadly hardly a pickup game of footy on several plush grass socceret fields with goals and nets in place. Dog park is similar to Oceanside Park. Theres also an awesome fitness trail, but it can be bumpy for cycling. Multiple tennis, paddle ball and basketball courts, complimented by a picnic area, playground and sprinkler park, and you have a large assortment of activities to choose from. Yet despite all that, it never seems crowded!

2021-09-20Excellent park for many activities and always well kept. I normally go there to walk or ride my bicycle. Highly recommended. By the water and always plenty of parking.
