Bamboo Garden in other cities:
Owners 3 small children sat at a table full of toys, & as cute as the kids are, the running around, writing on the walls, yelling dont make for good dining. My sesame chicken had more breading than chicken, & the plastic fork I was given couldnt cut through to pick up the pieces. My hubbys shrimp lo mein was tasty, the shrimp were tender. He had asked for hot & sour soup 1st, as appetizer, but it came out with all the rest of the food instead.
The quality of food there has declined significantly over the past several years. The anything breaded is 90% breading with a bit of mystery meat inside. Anything thats made with unbranded chicken is either tofu or the most chewy chicken you can find. Or, not chicken...who knows.
I urge you to look up the definition on chow mein, lo mein, and chow fun. They literally translate to different forms of noodles. Then how to you sell chow mein and chow fun as basically vegetables and a sauce that equates to snot and not a single noodle? Your version of some of the most popular dishes do not match any recipes I can find.

2020-08-04General Tso‘s chicken combo. Chicken cooked more than once or too long. Very little of it was chewy. I’ve been in 46 of the 50 states, I’ve eaten Chinese food all over this country. I know what General Tso’s chicken is supposed to be like. You’ve got a Ways to go to reach that old-fashioned Chinese taste

2021-10-29Meh, super sweet, when I specifically asked for spice and heat. 🙄 BUT ... the veggies were plentiful and not over cooked and the sweet was tasty enough, esp with the free egg roll!Hope my request doesnt get lost in translation next time. or is this the only Chinese food in Altamont?... 🤔

2021-05-03Bought dinner for 6 waste of money chicken was over cooked and hard, white rice was soggy, sweet and sour chicken was small and chewy, the pork fried rice was hard and dry, you could have wrung the grease out of the egg rolls, there was mostly broccoli in then chicken and the little bit of chicken was all fat. Terrible place to eat and never going back again

2020-08-25They have more meat/beef on their LoMein, OMG! Since the pandemic i was looking for a good chinese take out. It seemed that because of the pandemic they are all closed. So when i moved here in Altamont Blvd. I found out that there is Chinese take out here, i was so 😇. Egg Rolls also good.

2021-03-01Used to be my favorite chinese food place. But now they are barely even sub-par food is always over cooked now. No longer seems to be white meat chicken but dark rock solid crunchy pieces. Time and time again

2019-11-17Terrible food tonight! New people there who obviously have no idea what they are doing... everything is over salted, under cooked and not prepared as usual. Mu shu pork was strips of pork that would be in wonton soup in cabbage with some sauce... very sub par. Also it was not warm when we got it home which is not normal.
