My dog was dropped off at 9AM for a ‘recheck’ of an infection on the edge of both ears. As far as I we could see, the infection was gone and her ears were healthy. But, when told to bring her in for a recheck, I did. Six hours later - my dog in a cage all day, we gave up on the ‘recheck’... “Vet very busy”. Yes, I get it. But, I was understanding last week when I initially brought her in and you wanted me to pick her up eight hours after drop off. I feel it’s inhumane to the animal. So, today, I wanted the ‘recheck’ but six hours later, we just brought her home. Not so glad I bought the Banfield Pet Coverage...
Not sure why this location has such bad reviews?from reading looks like theyre old. Thorough care from start to finish!! The annual bloodwork that comes with my plan showed something abnormal, more tests were done, and turned out my dog had a tumor on her thyroid. my dog was perfectly fine and I would have never known if it wasn’t for the wellness plan and the knowledge and care of the doctors. So thankful
I was referred by my friend who has always been very pleased with this location. Slightly apprehensive due to reviews, but needed an immediate appointment for my new puppy. Was extremely pleased from beginning to end with the receptionist to the supervisor to the doctors. Very patient and answered all my questions with complete professionalism. It was a great 1st experience for a new pet owner.
I have been taking my dogs here for over 10 years. They are expensive but close to my home and I never had a truly bad experience. Yesterday I had a routine vaccine appointment scheduled for 5:30pm. We didnt get seen by a doctor until 6:10. During the waiting period my dog unexpectedly had a seizure. As soon as the doctor came in I expressed my concern, they took him in the back right away. They came back to confirm he was having a seizure, were going to give him something to try to stop it but that they were closing at 7pm and I had to take him to an emergency clinic because they would not be able to assist him. So a 40 minute wait for my appointment, then basically turned away and the 5 minutes my dog was actually seen by a doctor cost me $100. I also had to wait online to pay even though I had to get my dog out of there quickly to get him to a place that could actually help him. Entire situation left a bad taste in my month and Id never give them my money or let them touch my dog again.
Just love this veterinary hospital! From Vicky, Nicole, Colleen, every staff member is very caring and attentive to my pets needs. Dr. T is the best! You can see she loves animals so much...we got great news for my dog, Finn, thanks to the wonderful care and concern shown by his vet. I will recommend this vet to everyone!
I recently enrolled with Banfield hospital no more than 6 months ago and at first I felt comfortable and confident that this place was going to be a good fit for my 8 year old yorkie. I was deeply wrong! The first visit i took my pet for dental pet services the staff at levittown was extremely unprofessional, uncaring, and rude. After that experience I was very uncomfortable with taking him back but unfortunately my dog became ill a few months after and I took him in as an emergency visit, his eyes were completely closed he had developed eye issues. At the time of the visit, again the staff at levittown was again very rude and uninformative, that they did not process my dog visit at the end correctly. Which lead to a weeks worth of phone calls and showing up at the hospital at levittown for payment which the staff and the manager kat were unprofessional throughout the entire process which could have been handled at the time of the visit if the staff knew how to do there jobs correctly. To make matters worse a month later I received a bill from Banfield hospital collection agency IC Systems regarding the same bill that I had pervious paid for after my one week of reaching both the staff at Benfield hospital of levittown the manager and corporate. After 2 days and after speaking to 7 different individuals from Banfield corporate only one individual was able to rectify the issue that clearly Chelsea from corporate had disclosed that the issue was internal and no fault from the consumer which is me. I write this today to shead light on this corporation that clearly gives consumers like myself financial distress, defamation of character and unprofessional services . If I could rate no stars I would. I hope this reaches to many whom are considered signing up with Banfield hospital fare warning this is not a place you want to depend your pets safety and care.
My yorkie was misdiagnosed for years with a liver problem meanwhile it was her kidneys so she was never treated properly and we had to put her down in june.. then after the horrible, heartbreaking experience of having to put her down, we got her cremated. My family and I were told we will call you when they come in for you to pick them up. After about 2 weeks we called looking for them and they said “ they’ve been here for a week” with no call or heads up. Really sad experience.
Great staff. So knowledgeable about everything. Everybody is polite and patient.I didnt have an appointment, but I still called to see if they would take me. They sure did. No problem. I walked in ten minutes before my appointment I waited maybe five minutes and was out within the hour. I love this place and I recommend it to anybody to have pets. Very inexpensive.
Our 12 year old dog had to be put to sleep due to a misdiagnosis from Banfield. For 2 years we have been bringing her to banfield and every visit we had we had a different Vet, since the Vet who treated her before supposedly was working at another banfield hospital at that time. Everytime we brought her back we started from scratch. When we complained the frint ataff more or kess did not care. Last time she was therw ahe was for 4 hrs in a cage and the Vet was telling me that she is stiff. Really? She was already diagnosed with artities. I would be stiff if i sit in the same possition for 4 hrs. Needless to say after we advised that our dog had passed all we received was an ok. We will make a note in the records. They dont care. All they wanred was our money. Assitionally be warned if you take their insurance. You will have to pay for the balance of the contract even if the sog ia dead.
I highly recommend Banfield in Levittown.Dr. Chow and the entire staff have been absolutely amazing. They are caring, gentle, compassionate, supportive and professional. I can honestly say that everyone at Banfield loved our Munchkin as much as we do. With a sincere and grateful heart we thank you all for caring about our fur baby. If it was possible I would give a higher rating.
I went to Levittown for the first time. There was confusion with my pets account. I was supposed to get a discount on the account and the way this was communicated with me was very unprofessional. The person(I dont want to put her name but she is the person in charge there) has NO eye contact while talking to me.... really bad feeling and experience. would never go there again.

Made an appointment and the whole appointment lasted 2.5 hours because they were over booked and took in wall ins. This is at the Levittown location. Left without copies of dogs xrays because they didnt even begin copying them until a half hour after they originally said they would. Had to leave without xrays resulting in additional costs when having to take my pet to the ER to be further evaluated. Would recommend going anywhere else. It will be cheaper and you will be happier with your experience.
Made an appointment at 1:30, Dr. Wapnick brought us in at 2:15, took our cat in and said he completely shattered his nail. They said they were going to remove it and needed 30 more minutes. Apparently, this is not important to them so they decided to work on another patient even though they were the ones who told us to come at 1:30. It is currently 4:52 and they just started the procedure. I dont know what else to say, this clearly shows how little they care about their serivce. They apologized for taking so long, but thought it was necessary to try and excuse themselves by saying there are other animals they have to take care of. (That came 3 hours after us)
Dr. Yohay is a very compassionate vet that will take good care of your pet and really listen to your concerns. He did a wonderful job with my elder dog - a special case that Dr. Yohay really treated with the utmost of compassion. We now have a young dog that is on the Banfield Wellness program which makes the first year of appointments and altering much more affordable. Thanks for everything you did for Jackie and Walker, Dr. Yohay!
Very unprofessional, they give medicine without explaining it, all they care about is $$$$ not the well-being of our pets, For ex: as soon as I walked with my pet, they start explaining prices, without even looking at my pet, which was not even feeling well, really bad service.
My friends dog was brought to bandfield vet Yesterday bc she was sick, not eating, or drinking, knew she had a heart condition and Banfield said it was just allergies and the next day, Today she Dropped Dead from Heart Failure. This vet couldnt tell that the oragns were in the process of shutting down!?!? Never again will i ever bring an animal here for something serious

2022-04-28Best location I’ve visited thus far! It’s run smoothly and staff are very friendly and professional. The young man at the front desk with tattoos was exceptional. Not the closest location to where I live but they have proven to be worth the drive. Will be returning!

2022-05-08I’ve taken my baby Ruby (cat) and Millie (puppy) here, also my brothers puppy Hercules and it’s always a quick and easy visit. I am doing the wellness plan for ruby and millie and I feel like it’s well worth it. Any issue I go to them and they always take good care of us!

2022-04-05My overall experience was great. Dr. Bruno was amazing, the receptionist that checked us in was awesome, the vet assistant was so nice and helpful but then I came down to the check out. When I adopted my pet I got a coupon from the rescue that was a free wellness check visit. The first receptionist that began our process was super friendly but didn’t know what to do with the coup on (totally ok and understandable). She asked the receptionist next to her to help me and she was SUPERRRRR RUDE. She started by stating she could not use the coupon if I was getting the wellness package, so I told her I wasn’t. She then asked if I had it printed, which I replied no, and she said it needed to be printed to be used. I then said that it says on the coupon that it can be a screen grab as well, she then with an attitude said she’ll do it as a one time Curtsey but next time it has to be printed. You could tell she just didn’t want to be bothered with the it. She was extremely rude and it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

2022-03-14Good place for a veterinary for your dog. Recommend the yearly plans they offer. It comes out cheaper. You see different veterinary though cause the rotate depending on the day you go with your dog.

2021-01-16As a vet with limited specialty mobile service, I rely heavily on clinical colleagues for my pets’ wellness care. I am so honored to call the team at Banfield Levittown both colleagues and my own pets’ vets. I use them because of their team dynamic and dedicated manner. I always recommend this clinic to my own clients. The front staff are friendly and amongst the most efficient I have ever seen. The doctors work so well together and I would he honored to have any of them see my pets when they visit there. The communication amongst their team is wonderful and this is so important for the most supportive and thorough care. As a vet, I HIGHLY recommend this team for your beloved fur family member!

2019-10-03My 10 year-old dog died here from a freak vaccination reaction. They at least paid for her cremation- however I couldn’t afford her ashes in a urn.
