Food was very good but my order was messed up twice.i ordered a buffalo chicken bowl, they gave me grilled chicken. i also ordered a side of chips and dip, got the chips but no dip... so the chips were basically pointless at that point. bummer.
Very tasty Tex Mex food at a very reasonable price.

I order from here 1-2x a month since they opened. The food is always very consistent, with is something that I struggled to find in other places. It’s always done on time when I call it in, fresh and hot. My daughter loves their burrito bowls and bean quesadillas. Very good portions.
It’s a hidden Gem!!!!! Fantastic food!!! Alway fresh ingredients! Perfect price! Always quick! I come so often that they know me on a first name basis and my order personally. Now is that not friendly neighborhood service or what?
I came to this place which looks nice. The guy so arrogant when I asked for Spanish speaker. But I can deal with it. But what I really make me upset is that I paid 45$ for two burritos with rice only and microscopics pieces of chicken and a horrible old sauce . This made me highly disappointed. Hope never come back again. Hope one day can find a real good Mexican food.
As a professional chef I can’t wrap my head around all these positive reviews.The marinated steak in the burrito bowl was over cooked and dry and the entire thing lacked flavor. I had to pay extra for them to give me a tiny cup of pico on the side. The bang bang sauce is basically chik fil a sauce with chipotle powder added in. Also have to pay extra for that. Was looking to try somewhere different instead of our usual joints. Won’t make that mistake again.Ordered the churros for $3.50. You get one skinny, tiny churro.A million other places are better to get tacos and bowls from. Don’t bother with this place. It’s awful. And huge waste of money.

First time here. Got the chicken burrito which was basic and not spicy which I liked. They have a selection for spicy as well which I will try next time. My wife had the fish taco. She found it fresh and taste great but could use a little more flavor spread around it. Place is clean and staff was friendly. Prices are decent. I’ll be back!
This place is amazing. The food is delicious very fresh. The prices are also very reasonable. I’ve tried many different items and they are all delicious. I had every taco on the menu the enchiladas and empanadas are made with perfection. The Shrimp and the Cod are very tasty as well Keep up with the excellent serviceThank You

Tried Bang Bang Burritos for the first time today. Staff was super friendly and owner came out and spoke to the customers which was impressive. We eat Mexican several times a month and thought this would be our new go to place. We were so disappointed with the food. IT HAS NO FLAVOR! Bland and Everything tastes the same, doesn’t even smell like they are cooking Mexican food. Paid $40 for hardly any food, very overpriced for the small portions. No cheese on any of the Tacos and we asked for the sauces on the side, which were super tiny. Took a long time to get the food.was mad to see a credit card service fee on the receipt when I got home! What’s this!! If you want good Mexican food try Swell Taco, Bubba’s Burrito and Del Feugo.
Theyre good. I go a few times a week. Sometimes they mess up the orders. Disappointing to see everyone maskless starting Feb 10, 2022.. especially behind the counter.
The food here is great, I ordered a steak bowl and shrimp taco. The only reason for the three stars is the staff was on their phones too much. When I walked in a guy behind the register was just on his phone while I looked at the menu. I’m no restaurant expert but I am pretty sure you shouldn’t be touching your phone especially if your handing food out. The employees weren’t even wearing uniforms like who wears a sports jacket or sweatpants to work. Management needs to step up their game on correcting the employees.
Empanadas are my favorite! The bacon mac & cheese is where it is at!My company and I order here almost once a week if not more! Were LOVING the new pulled pork quesadilla, hope they keep it forever!!!
Been here three times. It’s location is solid so it makes it an easy trip for me but it’s sub par as far as food goes. Marinated steak is the only menu item worth the try, but it’s nothing you can’t get at bubbas or pico in that same general area. Two out of the three times my order took over 30 min to make, keep in mind my order was never absurd or over the top. Three tacos and fries or a burrito and an empanada. Kitchen is ridiculously slow. Prices are fair but you can find better for what you’re paying for. Al pastor was out of stock first two times I came in because they weren’t prepared properly to open. Overall it’s average and I honestly was hoping for much more but I’m hoping they can get their mishaps in line for a brighter future. Idea is cool, execution and management needs work

Tastes like homemade. It is homemade. Made freshly throughout the day. I spoke with one of the owners today. I was impressed on the freshness of their food. The size of the burrito for what you pay, fantastic.

Drove 30 minutes just to try this place, so worth it!! The marinated steak burrito was amazing along with the fried shrimp burrito. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was super friendly and the establishment was spotless! I will definitely be going back!
Had 2 orders of buffalo chicken quesadillas and 1 order of beef nachos which came out to about $34 which I found absurd honestly. The service was slow the quesadillas were small portioned, but tasted good. The nachos were dry but the portion was large.
This place makes you wait for a very long time almost 40-50 minutes before you get your order. They skip some orders and they dont care who ordered first. Probably they have short staff. They dont care about your time. And also when you ask when the order will be ready they tell you a lie so that you dont cancel. When i asked when will my order be ready the guy told me it will be 2 minutes and after that i waited 18 minutes until i left off. Total dissappointment. Never ever I will come here.
When I first ordered from here was told to pick it up in a half hour. Got there 40 mins later and then proceeded to wait in the restaurant for another half hour until I eventually got my food. Then tonight I tried to order half chicken half steak in a burrito bowl and they wouldnt allow me to do it. They insisted they needed to up charge me for double meat. Too many good burrito places around the area. I wont be back.
The shrimp tacos are so good! Generous amount of shrimp which is rare and the burritos are delicious too

Dont be discouraged by the wait! This New small town eatery makes sure that even though they are busy and light on product, they produce great food. Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing with tuns of flavor. I will 100 percent be back.
Bang Bang Burritos just opened on Thursday the 21st of November and from the get go its been good, no no I take that back it is fantastic.Like any new restaurant, waiting times were a little long, but im sure that will change as everything is made to order and as I said its only been a few days.Ther owner came around with fresh guacamole and chips to get everyone. Tried it for the first time yesterday. Prices were similar to other places and the menu is alot like another local burrito joint. I will say i enjoyed the bang bang sauce, a creamy chipotle mayo, alot more at this place. The portions are huge as well. We ordered a bamg bang chicken salad, a steak burrito bowl, classic burrito beef and the All American. The flavor on my All American was fanatastic and my only gripe keeping them from 5 stars was that the steak was a bit chewy and had a fair ammount of gristle. I will certain go back for another try though. Perhaps with beef on the all American or ill get the west islip lion burrito.
Bang Bang Burrito always comes through in the clutch. They seriously have the best burritos in town, and I love their steak quesadilla and guacamole 😍 Whether it is just my husband and I ordering lunch, or we are with our extended family ordering dinner for a bigger group, we know we can count on them to please the crowd!
Ordered catering for Good Samaritan hospital 2main nurses last night for 25 people. Rave reviews from them about how good everything was. Barbara was great to work with. Note to self, next time order more churros!
It was yummy and filling, but pretty oily. It also gave me painful explosive diarrhea like five minutes after eating it.

The Burrito was yummy and warm but I paid $13.00 and couldn’t get any chips with my burrito. I’m used to chips with any burrito I order. No chips is no bueno.

Gave it a whirl for the first time. BF got an All American which he seemed to really enjoy. I ordered a veggie quesadilla, no description but I figured it would have vegetables not just onions and peppers. Not impressed with mine but it could just be that I was over thinking what would be in a veggie anything (ie zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, broccoli). Also when I went to pay the boy said 25.80, had an issue with the machine and another guy did something and it was suddenly 26.50. They up charged for credit card use. No sign and didn’t mention a thing. This place hasn’t swayed me from Swell but may be worth another try.
Food is amazing!! We needed a place like this in West Islip. I highly recommended ordering the Beef and Reef. Their churros are TO. DIE. FOR! My family and I order takeout at least once a week!

2021-07-24I always go for the Buffalo chicken tacos, and there quesadilla is always on point. The burritos are massive, and they basically but anything in them. There menu is huge, and service was good. Everytime I pass through I always have to stop.

2022-04-22Used to be good but now twice in a row the order has been a disaster. My daughters vegetarian burrito had meat in it, her nachos only had guacamole when she said no dairy. I guess beans, and salsa are dairy. My wife’s order was also messed up with sour cream on all of her items even though she told them no dairy. They were pretty steady customers going every Friday but are now looking for a new place. It’s sad because they used to really enjoy it.

2022-04-10Food is okay, empanadas are probably the best thing on the menu. Their prices are higher than some other places, and I dont feel like the flavor justifies the higher pricing. Also, there is a convenience fee for placing your order on their website.

Even though it was delivery, it tasted freshly made.So far I have tried the classic burrito (chicken), the bean burrito, the cheese quesadilla, and the nachos. All of it was excellent!The burritos are a good size. The chicken is tender. They put just the right amount of sour cream. The guacamole is yummy!I have just one minor complaint. When you order a side (e.g., Pico de Gallo), they could be a bit more generous.Overall, excellent food at a reasonable price! I will be ordering again soon!

2022-08-23Our order was wrong even though I ordered in the store and had the cashier repeat it back.She was confused on how to ring up items. The labels on the burritto were even wrong causing my husband to eat some of the wrong food until we discovered the error. Thats just sloppy work ! Due to the error my kid didnnt have food that she ordered and had to cook her something..The food we did eat was bland and flavorless.
