You can always look forward to a nice long line in this bank also the employees are extremely slow and some look like they are just walking around doing absolutely nothing with no concern the line is about to be out the door. Also there is no drive up teller at this branch and they close too early I always have to rush to make it and sometimes do not.i get so mad sometimes I just want to take my business to other banks like td bank that respect their customers and accommodate the working persons lifestyles.
I have been banking with Bank of America for about 9 years it was great customer service for the first 5 years now I have to say they have really lost there way on customer service. I had an over draft fee of $35, so I call there customer service number and spoke to a young and I explained what had happened mind you this was all with 24 hours. She right away tells Sorry Mr. Felix we cant do anything for you we do not refund over draft fees. I told her not true and asked to speak to a supervisor she tells me its an 18 to 20 minute wait to see if that would make me change my mind. So finally I get the supervisor and she tell me the same thing it is like they are reading off a pre written sheet and said that I had got a one time courtesy fee removal like two month ago. But they forget that it is should be about customer service and courtesy especially of you have been a long time customer. Im thinking about just closing my account after all these years because of things like this and I think that the account supervisor that I spoke too her name is Alisha should be retrained in the proper way to help long time customer better, bank of America needs to reassess there policies. I have another account with my other bank USAA bank because Im a VETERAN and they have never given me any issues with fees I might just start doing all my banking just with them.
Where do I start my review? The location on Forest Avenue is horrible. I opened up a bank account with that bank because they had a drive-thru. Plus the other banks on this island suck with their ridiculous fees. But mainly being a disabled person it’s difficult most days to get in and out of my vehicle so I really depend on the drive-thru. But I’m certain that this location has become non-ADA compliant being that they decided to close their drive-thru. In order for me to go in to a bank I have to have someone come with me so they can help take my wheelchair out of my car. As if that’s not bad enough where I have to inconvenience someone to come with me, it doesn’t get any better inside of the bank. There’s only 1 to 2 tellers with a long line. They never have withdrawal slips only deposit slips available to fill out. Whenever you try to call the location you can never get through because nobody picks up the phone. For instance, I called at 9:01 AM this morning and no one is picking up the phone and I’ve called already 4 times! When I saw they were building another location on Richmond Avenue, I was happy but soon extreme disappointment came upon when I saw that they too did not have a drive-thru window available, smh. What gives BOA? Disabled lives matter too.
One of th worse bank in the USA they don’t care about littl money they fee is so high customer service by phone take hours and hours to answer you called. In this branch all of them haven an attitude guys I don’t recommend this bank for you or for your business. They will treat you like a trash.I have two account with them businesAnd personally but I’m going to close both of these account. Just because they customer service by phone and in this branch. They don’t even deserve one star

Teller TAHINNA at forest avenue staten island location is very rude and unprofessional. I had to deposit 2 checks. Even though i had opened my account at that particular location, she asked us to go to the end of the line and fill up a slip with name and address, which took only 30 seconds but had to stay on the line for another 30 minutes. The customer in front of us was waiting to deposit a check as well but TAHINNA let her fill up that same slip while waiting at the counter. Why cant these tellers treat every customer the same way? This teller TAHINNA should be expelled and higher authorities should take a look into these customer service matters if they like their customers to do business with bank of America.
Hi guys this is yunonfinity barbershop on 26 glen street we do amazing haircuts u will love almost 250 different styles for men by yunon, anyways about the bank of america review, there was a technical problem with the machines and it got fixed now i usually use the tellers when i need to transfer money but anyways i never had other problems with this bank so yes i love it..

2022-03-21I love this bank, yes this location is always pack but some how they still find the way to take care of everyone. I have another BOA by my house however I rather drive to Forest location to handle my business. They have the best customer service. The man Nigel is absolutely the best solving problems and have manage to help me in 2 occasions that was extremely important for me. Plus one time I had to wire money for a closing at a house and needed the transaction to go trough by 1pm. The location at Richmond Ave wanted to give me an appointment for the next day risking me to lose the house. Once I got to the Forest location they were able to help me out. In so many occasion I wanted to close my account with BOA but I havent do so thanks to this location at Forest.

2022-04-21Just received a cancelled my appointment, refused to cash a check drawn on their bank due to me being a non customer and suggested I use my own bank. Didn’t even give the option for me to open an account to deposit the check or open an investment account. Just said okay and hung up. Then sent ab immediate confirmation of cancellation in my email. What a shame as I actually would’ve opened up one along with a checking and savings account.

2022-02-15Nigel Lewis and the bank of impossible. Yes those are his words. Simple transactions like making deposits, yes Mr Nigel Lewis believes its impossible, to difficult to perform simple transactions. I guess bank of america got a really bad reference as to what this guys skillset is. How can a bank exemplify service, and leadership when the guy who is in charge doesnt have those qualities. No explanation, no professionalism. Just a guy in suit collecting a paycheck. I expect this type of incompetence from Walmart. I guess bank of america just doesnt care about service or professionalism. Seems like I need to find a new bank and fast. What a black eye for the community, bank of america and for the management position itself. I mean how does a corporation make such bad decisions with filling a management role. This guy is basically robbing the bank by just showing up to work. Its beyond pathetic, just hearing Nigel speak, and then as I walk out telling me Im right about the incompetent inconsistencies in his work place, that he is in charge of. Thanks Nigel I couldnt have figured it out myself your running a $hit show. And the sad part is thats just the least of issues at this bank. Bank of america start investing in real leaders , do your homework with who is taking these positions. Shameful, just stay home Nigel do us the favor.

2021-10-08This bank is garbage in general but so is this branch in particular. Slow, uninformed and poorly trained. I was just given COMPLETELY incorrect information from a teller regarding a very large deposit I need to make. I call the branch 10x to get the guys name and nobody answers. They never answer. I have called this back 25 times in the last week and nobody answers. Don’t waste your time with this garbage bank just bank with TD or any other reliable bank.

2021-08-03Every time I go to this branch Ive had no problems. Its quick to deposit or withdraw money. It may take a few minutes to see an agent it depends on what is your transaction. I prefer to take my time whenever it comes to dealing with my hard earned money.

2021-06-25Poorly managed bank.This bank is very busy most of the time but there is always one teller attending customers even on Friday afternoon. They have 4 other employees doing some other services. Line can go out the door most of the time.

2020-11-26By the time I get out of work the bank is already closed and its not like I could take money out of the ATM because I have to wait a week for them to mail me my bank card. Apparently they dont give out temporary cards anymore... 2 month still no card... I went in today and now they give me a temporary card it would have made no difference if they would have gave me the temporary when I first open up my account... worst bank experience ever...

2021-10-01I had to worse experience going in this bank this morning I went in to find out why my bank account was closed just unexpectedly I got a attitude from the teller (guy) I didn’t get his name which I should have he was very rude & he act like he didn’t understand what I was saying I left my I.D & he was just trying to push me out the line so he can take somebody else I’m happy they closed my account I would never use Bank of America again or will I ever go to this bank again if people hate they job than QUIT!
