My husband decided to try a new barber shop he has been going to Alex now for a couple of months he is very pleased.. and am loving his beard lol..

Had my first cut here with Danny. This was my first time at this barbershop. You can tell these guys are experts. You can go to either one of the guys and get an awesome cut. The shop is super clean and everything is top of the line. They only charge $25-$30 for a cut which is a reasonable price for the best haircut you are ever going to get. Being able to Schedule your appointment ahead of time and not needing to worry about a wait is an added bonus. This is definitely my new go to barber going forward.

Worst decision ever. I decided to make my son make his haircut there. Good impression yes. But the cranky bold men Sent me to sit when I was trying to explain what I want him to do. Ok I trusted him since sounds professional. Walked out. but when I see the results I was shocked 😳 I paid $35 and I now maybe more because definitely is the worst barber work ever see

Very hospitable and friendly. I arrived for my appointment and was attended on time by the barber Alex. He did an excellent job with the cut. He even made suggestions of what would look better and was completely right, the finish was great! The barbers, the place, and the service were all very professional and well worth the visit. Will definitely be coming back!
I travel for work a few nights a week in the same area. For sanity and health I like to explore the area around my hotel on foot and while nothing in the mall was open, the doors were so I walked with all the old folks.I dont even think the Starbucks was open yet, but when I walked by Barber Express Alex (I think?) was literally standing in front of the shop to greet me. I needed a haircut and he seemed legit enough so I took a chance - best cut Ive ever had.I live 5 hours from Barber Express, but this guy earned my business by being an absolute professional and Ill be back every time I am in the area.
The barber name Alex has hands of god when cutting hair. Very nice place and atmosphere when you enter. They cut your hair very quick. They interact with you like your their best friends. Definitely worth giving this place a try.- Anthony Aleman
Alex is very gifted at what he does. He has a lot of experience which comes through clearly with the nicely blended fade/taper and clean lines. So far, this was my freshest fade/skin taper hands down. And at $25 it is a steal. Beyond that, he has amazing interior decor, provides great conversation, listens to what you want, and provides insightful recommendations if youre not exactly sure on what you want. He checks with you multiple times to make sure things are looking good, so there are no surprises at the end. He is also a great salesman -- one of those super charismatic ones that you cant help but like. However, he DOES NOT upsell or lie to make more money. Instead, he accurately marketed the hair product and his skills and delivered on his claims. It turns out that not only was this my favorite cut, the product I bought turned out to be the best, yet cheapest, one that I have ever purchased (its the powder one that provides a matte look with flexible/adjustable hold even if you get it wet, and it does not flake as it dries nor does it make your hair uncomfortably stiff). I recommend this barber shop to anyone, and Im looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Alex.

Great place to go get a great haircut. Mark did a great job.They made me right that review, easily the worst haircut I’ve gotten and I’m underage and they were offering me alcohol. (Notice how every review is 5 stars) this is the only honest review everything else is the workers telling you what to say.
I tend to walk out of a barber and think “could have been better.” NOT HERE. I saw Alex and expectations were exceeded. Cordial, professional and from walking in, I felt like I was in good hands. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Most of these reviews are fake, comb through them and you can tell.I went there last week for a simple trim and they absolutely jacked up my hair to the point where I might just shave it all off. They didnt do what I asked for, none of my sides are even, and some places arent even touched. They also cut me in several places with the straight razor.My barber wasnt even looking at my head when he was shaving certain parts, and kept stopping every 30 seconds to creepily stare at women walking near the store. Extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and please do not come here.
This was my first time getting a haircut in over a year. I typically grow my hair out really long because every single time I get a hair cut, its either uneven, not what I asked for, or just down right terrible. The last amazing haircut I got was sometime back in 2016, but now I can happily say it was about a few hours ago.I went for the royal treatment (hair cut, face mask treatment, hot towel shave) and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Theres a reason Alexs shop has 5 star reviews from every person who has walked through. Not only does Alex give amazing haircuts, but he provides a great environment, actually listens to what kind of style you want, and is extremely courteous. Not to mention the fact that he keeps an EXTREMELY clean shop and ensures that all measures are taken for safety during covid times.If you need an excellent hair cut, dont hesitate. Go to Alex. You wont regret it.
I paid $55 for a $20 haircut. I could literally go down the street to a Dominican barber shop and pay $20 and get a better cut. I appreciated the convenience and the hospitality but there’s no reason for them to be charging $55 for the cut I received.
Alex brings the style, Danny delivers the laughs. I was leary of using any barber at a mall after some bad experiences but they turned me around and I think I found my spot finally.Very satisfied with my cut and Im actually looking forward to my next cut

The atmosphere at Barber Express is like an old fashioned barber shop. Alex is a consummate professional and with a few brief instructions has given me a perfect haircut every time. For me, that is a very precise skin fade and beard trim. The price is extremely reasonable considering Alexs level of expertise. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using Alex for 3 years and not once have I ever had a bad thing to say about his haircuts. You tell him what you want, and he goes above and beyond to make sure it’s exactly what you’re looking for and better. His shop is sanitary, he takes his time and makes sure all of his customers leave happy and looking clean. Every week I go to Alex for a haircut! It became a ritual! The guys hands are blessed and he is very funny and nice too! Anything you want, he knows how to do, also he’s young and has a sense of style so don’t be shy to ask him for his opinion! 5/5 papa, will bring my kids in the future (when I have them).

Alex fixed up my hair after it got messed up. He cut my hair so quickly that I was surprised because usually other barbers would take longer to cut it. He also cut my hair the way no other barber could perfect it. Also gave me info on the best look when doing my eyebrows. I bought some hair pomade that he used on my hair that smells and feels good on my hair. Definitely going back.

Look I’m not going to say how Amazing my cut was, because yes it is Awesome 😎. But I’m a dad and I am gonna say how Awesome the hair cuts he gave my Three Little Ones. It’s one thing I trust Barber Express with my Hair but I and my Wife trust Barber Express with our kids hair cut 💇♂️ I just dropped the Mic 🎤 because any parent knows that’s all that needs to be said. Haircut was fine to begin with but wasnt till I got home that I found cuts on my neck and one behind my ear, also later to realize the back of the cut was uneven, on the bright side itll grow back

First time coming and i was treated as if i was coming here for years. 12/10 Service and not to mention the haircut was finessed(beyond amazing). I went in for a walk in, was greeted and offered drinks ect and the wait was almost non existent, as for the cut, i just got a simple fade and shape up, but it was a service worth well more than charged. 100% my new barber for life.

2022-04-14Alex is the man to go to! This place is a hidden gem located inside Roosevelt Field Mall. Honestly have been to a lot of different barbers in the area and Noone has been able to do a proper low skin fade until I came here. Big shout out to Alex if you decide to come here. You can make an appointment through Booksy for convenience! Youll have a blast here.

2022-04-14Great experience, especially for my first time going there. I was unsure what I wanted to do with my hair but Brian did a great job at suggesting styles and catering to my preference. Theyre really nice, they keep a good conversation during the cut and they make you feel like youve been going there for years. Great service and a great haircut, would recommend this place to anyone.PS: I forgot what gel you used for my hair, all I remember is that it was reminiscent of spider webs

I’m always hesitant to try new barbers but Alex welcomed me right in, and ended up giving me the best haircut I’ve gotten in my life (hands down)! He was also very personable, and got it done super quickly. I would highly recommend this place. In fact, I might need to start making the trip out here from now on. Super impressed!! :)

2022-08-04Have been eyeing this barber shop for some time and finally came to get a cut since its around where I work. Alex was the barber I made the appointment with. Not only is he welcoming, he is very knowledgeable and explains every step what he will be doing. On top of all that he is a great salesman! I ended up doing the royal treatment which you get a haircut/beard/eyebrows/also a black mask to detox the pores. The hot towel and cold towel was a great addition. If your looking for a barber shop this is the one. Will most definitely return and get a cut by Alex!

2022-04-24Walked in last min for a fresh cut before a wedding, was greeted immediately by Alex. I’ve been cutting my own hair for 10+ years but Alex did what he could for me and got me a fresh cut and fade and went the extra mile on the little things.Friendly and professional shop, definitely appreciate the effort and service. 2022-08-11Thank goodness for this place.. walked by it so many times I feel dumb for not coming in sooner. First time I’ve been satisfied with my hair cut in years.. seriously, I recommend coming here. These men know what they’re doing. Plus it’s not a regular barber shop with pictures of hair cuts from the 90’s. I’m only getting hair cuts from this barber shop from now on. Thanks guys!
