My daughter has been a huge KD fan since she was 6, and since we were going to Brooklyn from Michigan, I surprised her with tickets. She went down and kept waving to him while he was just messing around shooting before warm-ups. And he ignored her. The KD that played for OKC was all about fans and making them happy. Now he dont care. But the barclays is very nice, easy process to get in. DO NOT take a lighter or vapes because they will throw it away. There is no smoking area inside.
Not accessible friendly!!Our highly anticipated event for Bad Bunny’s concert was ruined by how Barclay’s Center seemed to make my cousin who had a recent hip operation a burden. She’s on crutches and we bought the tickets just about a year ago, but her injury was not anticipated. We asked for basic accommodation in our section. The section we FINALLY made to after an extremely long walk to the elevator from the main entrance. We were met with the person who assists in the seating area who then called I assume to be his supervisor to assess the situation after she said she would not be able to go up the steps with her crutches. (We were in section 207). He said we could go to guest services where they will be able to accommodate her and one other person. It was only three of us total. We asked where guest services was and he said all the way on the other side. For her to struggle more than she already was for them to give an accommodation she didn’t want, didn’t seem in her favor. Luckily, we were only in the first row in the section (accessible was in front of us) where it was almost completely empty and there was even someone who was not supposed to be in that section but after security verified he was just the section over; they allowed him to be there the rest of the concert. Two stars because some of the workers there were helpful in accommodating her situation, but her overall experience was awful. My cousin was in extreme discomfort in her limited space of a seat, where she had to constantly get up if someone had to get to the other side for the restroom or where ever. If you buy tickets for an event here, try your best to not get injured prior to it because they will not accommodate you in your best interest.
2 stars because the seats at this venue are so close together that it is impossible to have personal space or feel comfortable. I literally think it is worse than being on an airplane in terms of seat tightness and lack of leg room. It is impossible to get around without asking everyone in your row to stand up and let you in/out plus the steepness of each row is insane. I had back and leg pain from the uncomfortable position I had to squeeze myself into during the concert I attended. I definitely prefer MSG over this arena and wont be back if I can avoid it.
Excessively loud. Had to plug ears with napkins. Way more noise than was necessary. It was an exercise in endurance. My ears are still ringing. Never again. They count on regular attendance to dull the eardrums. Thats the only way an individual could buy season tickets with the intention of using them and not go mad by halftime of game two. That was an awful experience.
I had a good time! Food and alcohol were available for purchasing, yea I had 2 shots on some ice with Pepsi. The venue was lit, it was about 14,000 people that were there, like wow. The place to be peeps whenever there is an event that you find interesting, buy your ticket/tickets and get there.
Overall the Barclays is a great experience. The seating could be a bit more comfortable, in particular the seats need to be spaced a bit more and they need more leg room but other than that it was a great setup. We saw Disney on Ice and there was not a bad seat as far as viewing. The food inside the place is reasonably priced for the most part. For instance, we got chicken fingers and fries for $8 which is actually cheap compared to other venues. There are a variety of food choices and some are expensive but you have a lot of options. Also, when we went to the Nets game there were a lot of alcohol choices as well. It was easy and quick to check in and the place is nicely done
Survivor Series WWE was awesome! Food was priced well. Sodas were incredibly overpriced! Health codes were not monitored at all. Hardly no one in the arena with a mask and the person sitting in front of us was coughing all over the place without covering his mouth!!!!!
This place is ONLY good for a concert venue. Anything else is better bought elsewhere. Theres no reason a mixed drink should be $25 for HALF of the cup to be filled. Also, I understand the regulations for Covid are still in effect, but to take my disposable e-cig away before entering is pretty wild, not even the airport takes that away.
We went to a Brooklyn Nets game and it was a great experience!Security was on point, they made sure we are vaccinated and although there were plenty of people they did everything safely and quickly. The stadium was not at full capacity since its COVID but the atmosphere was good and we could see the floor very well even though we sat at the top.
Saw a Nets game. Easy access from the Metro North lines. In to Grand Central and then 8 stops on the 4/5 downtown. Almost all of the ride inside or underground. Beautiful new arena! Food is expensive and about the same as every other sports venue, but who goes for the food?
Second time here, said after the first time I wouldnt go back and I shouldve stuck to my word. I understand that this is a business and they try to maximize seating to maximize profits, but these seats are too narrow and Im narrow! Leg room is not good either (Im 59 BTW); they should have 500-1000 less seats! My first time going I bought tickets in a 100 section and our row was literally padded folding chairs for $125+ per seat! This time I thought we bought good seats because no row was in front of us and there were just 7 seats in that part of the aisle (Sec. 120, row 4, seats 9-15); well, the view was decent and did like the idea of that row, but the metal railing in front us was FAR too close and that really affected my comfortability, plus they could take a seat out that row there by widening seats.
Barclay center is one of the best economic developments to come to Brooklyn. But parking and traffic is a nightmare for both residents and local businesses.Better to hop on train instead of sitting in the messy traffic from Atlantic ave/Fulton.Otherwise this place is a great addition to the gentrification happening in Brooklyn over the last couple years. This is in the heart of downtown so plenty to do in the area and a train ride back over to Manhattan.
This place doesnt allow reusable water bottles even if they are empty. You will have to throw away your Hydroflask at the door before entering this venue and buy water from them. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this venue with their performative sustainability efforts and greed.
This is the first time seeing the Barclays Center in person. They did a phenomenal job putting the NBA Basketball team to Downtown Brooklyn and the subway station is right their without walking across the street and super convenient. Brooklyn Nets play at the Barclays Center and other events. I will go to those events someday in the future.
Centrally located. Lots of great restaurants and bars around. I would advise taking public transportation if you can. The area gets difficult getting in and of before and after the show. The restrooms were plentiful and clean.Had the pizza there and was surprisingly very good.Staff was very polite.Saw Maiden... awesome.
Went here for an Iron Maiden concert and it was amazing. The venue is large enough to accommodate a huge group of people and there were plenty of restrooms to use. The beers are pretty expensive, about $15, so pregame at a nearby bar. Public transportation is very convenient because right outside is the Atlantic Avenue- Barclays Center Station.
This was my first time attending a concert here. Im not sure if its the same size as the garden but it is big inside. It was a full house when I went to see blink 182 and lil Wayne. The food and drinks are costly. My recommendation would be to eat and drink before or have a small snack with you. The seats are comfortable for the time I did sit. Easy to get to this location. I suggest checking it out. I cant wait to go back
Great place to see a basketball game or a concert. Just like every other event space of this nature the prices are very high for everything. The food is decent. You can get a good view from pretty much any seat. The sound is amazing. I recommend this for a concert or a game. Getting to the Barclay Center is pretty easy from anywhere in NYC. I had access to the VIP area which was pretty cool.
Come in for a concert and had a great time. The place was very well staffed and very organized. Plenty of places to eat and buy drinks. To make this even better they have a Shake Shack and a Chick-fil-a right out side. Traffic was crazy around it and not sure how is parking since I was dropped off here.Would definitely come back for another concert here.
I finally made it to Barclays for a event. What a modern stadium. Feels smaller then what it actually is. Not a bad seat in the house. So many cool restaurants and shopping near by, you really can make a day out of it. The staff is very helpful with directions and so friendly!
Saw the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions at the Barclay. Decent facility. Typical hockey/basketball seating and amenities. We got a ride to the venue so I couldnt tell you about the parking situation. The entrance was pretty cool. All the staff was friendly and helpfull.
Pros:- New and Clean- Wide Hallways & Easy to Navigate- Subway station right in front of arena- Spacious seats & cup holders- Several restaurants nearby.- Beautiful arena and views.Cons:- The food portions were small. I ate at Paisanos burgers which had a line. Since it wasnt your general concessions, I thought itd be a nice burger. The burger was barely larger than a slider and it cost a lot. Ive eaten at lots of stadiums and this was by far the smallest portion for the cost.- The staff made me check in my selfie-stick into guest services. Thankfully, Guest services didnt care and let me keep it.- Again, the staff at the Sugar Factory werent willing to help me. the staff at the cash register said the other staff would help me buy the candy but she was helping someone else outside of the cashier stand. So I left.- The Nets play here.
Impressive place to see sports games. Their is a wide range of different snacks and restaurants though they are mostly a bit expensive. The Barclays Center is definitely a place where you can have a good time. There are also a lof of animated spots where you can stay or shop until the game begins. I loved my experience there. I will come back for sure!
I like this place. It is clean. Staff is kind and well trained. Bathroom are spotless. They have different options for food and bebterages. The shows they present are good. The quality of the sound is great. I like the design because where ever your seat is you can watch the show perfectly.
Went to watch a Nets vs Charlotte Hornets game (first time visiting) and it was great! There werent ushers in the stands directing you to your seats, only giving directions on ground floor, so I was wandering around for a bit, but I figured it out. Lots of internal food spots though. Visible from street, security check in went by swiftly, narrow aisles, and 200 level seats are steep but Im cool with heights. Good place!
Been here several times. Decent venue. Only thing I didnt like as a smoker there is no outdoor area and theyll steal your lighter. But Ill keep it at 5 stars as I plan to quit soon. Saw a few WWE shows, overall great experience here at Barclays in the heart of cultured Brooklyn!
Nothing like the Madison Square Garden. The seats are very uncomfortable and the spacing between them is terrible. Its very risky to walk past people on the higher levels as you literally get no space to keep your feet.Drunk people can get severely injured but overall it was good. I enjoyed WWE Smackdown. It was an amazing experience to say the least.
Came here for a UFC event. The staff doing entry was quick and courteous. The venue itself has so many food options and things to check out that coming early is not filled with boring downtime. Our seats provided the perfect view and staff made sure that people were seated so that others could see and for their own safety.
Great venue for the overwatch league finals had a great time. Energy of the crowd was amazing. Casters really hyped the crowd up. DJ Khaled was damned terrible. Not sure why they chose him but the other DJs and the brooklynettes were a blast. Look forward to next season!
Nice return back to the Barclays. COVID guidelines were in effect. Have to show negative test results to get in. They even offer free testing there included with your ticket purchase as an option. Everyone was very spread out. Not a lot of food options though. Seems like the few stands that was open were all selling the same thing. Not a lot of option for people who don’t eat hot dogs. Meets chef who said more options should be open as the season goes on. Ended up going to fuku for chicken strips and waffle fries based on his recommendation, which was pretty good. Of course paid an arm and a leg for two orders of that plus two beers but, it’s expected. Seats were a bit smaller than I remember. Had seats in section 111 row 4 which is basically the first row by the gates. Be advised if your tall... DO NOT BOOK THIS ROW. My boyfriend’s knees was up against the gate. He had to hang his feet off the steps. Overall had a good experience.
Unfortunately they weren’t allowing people inside to view the center. I would’ve enjoyed seeing some of the players but I probably had bad timing. The design of the center was mesmerizing. At least they had the players photos around for people like me to take fan favorite photos. Even the team shop was closed so I wasn’t the happiest but it was the closest I could be to the players.
It was my 1st time going to a boxing event I thought that the arena was very well maintain it was very easy to get in to it there were plenty of ticket stations to go to I also thought that the bathrooms were great plenty of paper towels and toilet paper and E air dryers the fight was really good but the security and the I ushers put me in a position to find my seat fairy easily I cant wait to use this place to go to one of the professional basketball games
Beautiful building on the outside and a bit cold and sparse on the inside. The concourse is surprisingly dark and the concessions have few options. You can get a Juniors cheesecake, but most stands are pretty boring. It’s an area and it’s really the events you come for anyway.
Been here so many times, but this time we went to see Marvel Universe Live. The arena is very spacious, and clean. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Food is overpriced, but everywhere you go food is overpriced so no shocker. Well of course I will come back again. This is the main arena I go to for all my events.
This was an amazing experience and one I won’t forget.I don’t watch basketball at home but being there I was totally sucked in.Cheer leaders were amazing 😂.Would probably have liked it to be a little busier as there were a number of empty seats but probably because the tickets were quite expensive
Last night was first visit here. Best concert arena I have ever been in, and Ive been in most of the big U.S.ones. Perfect sound (of course, it was McCartney, so that might have been part of it.Super-easy to get in and out via subway to the Atlantic St. hub in Park Slope Brooklyn. Literally every major line runs through here. I dont think theres a bad seat in the place . . . concert layout is bowl like vs, say, Madison Sq Garden. No obstructions. A feeling that audience is gathered around the stage - even with an audience that size. Really nice facility, plenty of room around concessions, comfy seats - just really great. Lots of great places to eat within 5-6 blocks of the place. We parked in Soho and took #2 train. After concert, we were back in lower Westchester in only 1 hr. MSG no more!
I went to see Disney on Ice with family. Great venue row 10 great seats. Packed. Eat before you attend any functions there they are pretty pricey I felt like I was at a resort in the Bahamas. One lemonade was $13.00 plus tax I mean come on are we still in Brooklyn? The facilities are pretty clean and new staff are extremely helpful. Security is tight leave your backpack in the car no food from outside app usual post 911 checks its like going through the airport security. Youre have been warned. If youre visiting from out of town come at least two hours early the parking lots in the area fill up pretty fast. Best bet is mass Transit.
Saw Celine Dion. OMG! The crowd singing along made it an even more beautiful concert. That any human being can sing so beautifully is beyond belief. You must see her over and over and Barklay Center was fantastic. But seeing Celine with only 1900 people at CT Mohegan Sun was even better!
Oprahs Saturday workout, her wellness program was 9-3, free boxed lunch with 2 sandwiches.Started blessed with Tamela Mann singing of course Take me to the King after lunch we had the graciousness of Lady 45, Michelle Obama, speak candidly about her family during and post Whitehouse.
I visited the Barclays Center to attend the post-Summerslam episode of RAW. Compared to previous visits, check-in was quick and the crowds were not unruly. The seats were clean and comfortable. The dining and drinking options are a bit limited considering the notoriety of this stadium. You have your basic ballpark fare, such as French fries, chicken fingers, and hero sandwiches. There are a few hard liquor and beer kiosks, but most were overpriced. There is a Starbucks onsite, but you must purchase tour items before going past security.Ultimately, the event was enjoyable and the Barclays Center was a classy place. Try to eat before you attend your event.
Great location fornyour favorite performances. Clean and organized. Very quick, accessible entrance. Tons of places to spend your money, inside. Be aware, prices are very high, so bring lots of buying power of you plan to enjoy your time here. Easy access to subway, and very easy to get to Grand Station.
Beautiful arena with good seating. Smaller than msg so better bang for buck for same price seats which may turn out to be closer than in msg. Whether it is concert or sports event, the venue is pretty good from all angles. Food selection is mostly unhealthy foods unfortunately.
This arena is absolutely gorgeous. The security staff are speedy in getting people inside, and the food is actually pretty great for stadium food. Plus they pump the place with Calvin Klein cologne. We’re Islanders Season ticket holders and have a blast every time we go!
Easy to get to and no bad seats in the house! If you have Amex platinum card, there’s a vip entrance and elevator to their excess lounge. Great food concessions or you can order in the Amex lounge. Sometimes there’s stations outside of the lounge like there were wings for the nets game that I attended.
First Nets game and what an amazing venue!! For a Gluten free person... not much to offer. Only the chicken and rice. Over priced Drinks galore... the sparkling rose, was amazing. Friendly serving staff. Facilities great- lots of loos and very clean. Taxi’s after a game can be a challenge.
The review is based off strictly the venue, not the show we witnessed (which was incredible(NXT)!, raw was ok SDL good). It has to be the most uncomfortable venue to sit at, the leg room is worse than a coach seat in an airplane. Its so uncomfortable when people get up and try to get out. You end up hitting the ppl behind you and your knees and feet hurry after trying to move out of the way. Its unfortunate they cared more about cramming as many seats versus comfort. Ofcourse, this is coming from section 211. Which is steeper than anywhere else there.
To say this place is run poorly is a severe understatement. There is no guest services but there is a little office window that says guest service but the idiots in there are completely useless and void of any common sense. They are nothing more than mindless insensitive robots. There is no management to be found anywhere. Youre on your own in this dump. Terrible
I enjoyed being here for the Overwatch finals, but the decision to not enforce seating number was a terrible one. Seat numbers are there for a reason, namely, they prevent paying customers from needlessly wandering the bowl repeatedly bothering strangers with is that seat taken? Oh, ok. So sorry. How about that one? Also no? Ok, thanks over and over during time we could have spent buying food instead. So please, use the numbers so conveniently printed in every ticket.Other than that we enjoyed our time there, its a modern facility and everything else went smoothly.
I attended a game on February 8th . Celtics vs Nets . I was so happy to finally see my favorite players play with my family . There was a young lady. Thick light skin who worked for barleys NOT BEST! She was so rude to everyoneeee in the section including me and my family . She cursed. She shook her foot as if she was upset and ignored us when we asked for direction. She turned to a best worker and said she was tired of working there and she’s ready to slap one of us and when I asked her if we were bothering her she said she wasn’t talking to me then continued to say she needs to go home before she loses her job. I still continued to be quiet and tried to enjoy my game but I think that should be handled being that everyone else in our section13 Row 1-3 were complaining about her so much he couldn’t even enjoy the game . I’m so disappointed and sad the Barclays oils have that bad of customer service .
One of the smaller arenas in the NYC area, this venue has very little space between the entryway and the arena itself. You can see the street from your seat. The management of patron entry needs to be revisited. It was a free for all getting to the security screening. Ushers were nowhere to be found on the upper areas of the venue, but the lower areas are saturated with them. The venue does offer a number of choices in the area of food and beverage. The restrooms were clean. It appears a lot more comfortable than MSG. The view from where I sat was reasonable in regards to sight-lines.
Barclays is staffed by many unhelpful, sullen people, who are quickly frustrated if you aren’t acutely aware of the minute procedural song-and-dance that they perform every day. They become visibly angry at the slightest hesitation on your part, as if it isn’t exactly their job to walk you through the ticket scanning, food/drink transactions, etc. God help you if your ticket doesn’t scan on the first go (it often doesn’t) because Barclays won’t.I’m aware that that this stuff starts at the top, so there must be some grave dysfunction in the managerial ranks at Barclays, which is bleeding down into the wage staffers.
This facility is amazing but right now, the best feature is that the Nets stink. I got an email with an offer to upgrade my nose bleed ticket to the 6th row for just $500 when I came here to watch the Cavs. Winner winner chicken dinner. Dope location, the ushers can be meh, but I guess that’s in the job description. Overall positive experience at an NBA game.
Good family environment.Super pricey.A 20 oz fountain soda is nearly $10 and a 32 oz larger souvenir cup (pictured) is nearly $15 and the cup doesnt even say Nets or have a player on it. Just the Barclays Center.Tickets were $83 + $20 processing fee (??? Tickets were in our phone)(seats pictured).Parking very close to the arena was $50. I guess thats a game-day thing because the sign posted said parking was like, $25 for 5 hours. The T-shirt offer (pictured) for $22 was an actual good deal so I got one (the last large). The team store sure has very nice clothes but they are also pricey. And not ONE Drazen Petrovic (Nets LEGEND) jersey for sale. I didnt see any Vince Carter jerseys for sale either. They did however, have Derrick Coleman and Kenny Anderson jerseys for sale and that was nice to see.Overall... It was a fun trip coming from Poughkeepsie.Very expensive though.*DO NOT TAKE THE SUBWAYS!
My first time here. I have to say the place is beautiful and nice. Good seats and view from every angle. The biggest issue was the food. Super expensive compared to other arenas. The food was bland and worst over at Parn. My cheese sticks were over cooked. They were dark brown my kids pasta was smushing over cooked. Come on a full stomach
The fan, the place, the service are absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. You will love the Atlantic Barclays Center no matter if you are attending a concert, basketball game, or any type of event. Also, it is wheelchair accessible and point to drop off and pick when you ride a Uber or Lift. However, it is difficult to find a parking place since it is always crowded. That is why I suggest going with a public transportation or a ride from uber.
One of the top 5 NBA arenas (IND ORL SAC and ???). Its new, modern and attractive. Walkways are laid out well and basketball views are excellent. Subway station makes getting to games easy.We had club access (not CK VIP) and the complimentary food is as good as it gets (see ORL for similar). Scoreboard, stats and no halftime show take away from its score, helpful staff bumps it back up.
This place is great for concerts, shows, etc. I loved it here. I went to go see fob/blackbear in concert and it was amazing. I would definitely go again. The only thing is, its pretty expensive for food and stuff in there. A water costs $6 and popcorn thats way too small costs $6 as well. Too expensive.
Okay, so I first went here back in August 2017 for a Shawn Mendes concert and the staff were terrible! I needed a restroom before entering the Q&A portion as a VIP member and so I walked into what I thought was the “women’s restroom” however, as soon as I walked in, I froze. I saw a male fixing himself as it appeared he just finished doing his business. I apologized for walking in and walked out as fast as I possibly could. I looked up once again to see if I was the one who was wrong and nope, it said ”women.” I told an employee and all she said was, ”oh no, Im sorry” rather than something like ”I’ll speak to my manager about this situation.” I went once again in October 2018 and I also had VIP and everything was just so disorganized. Ugh.
Barclays Center is very nice! It was clean and well lighted. Our seats were great, and it appeared there wouldnt be a bad seat in the house. The restrooms were clean with paper towels or air drying options. There appeared to be plenty of food and drink options. The convenience to the trains is a bonus!
Been there for basketball and hockey games. Its definitely not set up for hockey, the scoreboard does not line up with the center line. Also seen concerts at the venue which did produce great sound. The center would be better if there was more space, but being in Brooklyn I understand it is limited. Getting to this venue via public transportation is very convenient.
#ironmadien #concert #livemusic Ive seen iron madien and also Judas priest here on 2 separate occasions. Both great bands but I think the venue needs to work on there sound quality when it does come to heavy metal bands. If they are trying to go that route with playing music there.
First time here. Went for a Bad Bunny concert! I really enjoyed myself and felt finding our seats wasnt too hard. The concert took a long time to start and there was no opening act, however thats not the venues fault. When the concert was over and when everyone shuffled out into the streets it still seemed to have this order to it lol. Everyone heads in so many different directions. Im use to parking lots lol and this is not the case in good ol New York!!! Overall good venue. No true bad seat in the house.
Aug/11/19 update to the review I typed a year ago: one star for this ridiculous system they have where you have to collect your tickets for the box office and the queue is well over one hour. Very badly managed. One of the best arena in the world and for sure better than the old Madison Square Gardens. The Barclays one was open 2-3 years ago and although it holds the same number of viewers, the views are excellent from any seat. That includes the cheap ones at the top, the view is still good. Seats are comfortable and the place has lots of accesses. After matches/concerts you will be on the street in a couple of mins. Very well communicated with Manhattan. Been there watching the Nets a few times and it was great. If you are a tourist wanting to see a life NBA game and dont care about the team, then come here. Both the team and the venues are better (than Knicks/Madison) and tickets are much cheaper. Enjoy!
Its a nice modern stadium and certainly one of the cleanest decors in the NBA but the prices are pretty terrible and it has a fairly confusing interior. Overall its nice and clean but kind of sterile and if you want a beer you best get a couple before the game instead
Was there for Dimashs concert. Got a good experience of New York local mentality. Dimash has a lot of fans who came early to line up. The lines began blocking the subway exits. Inform the Barclays staff and told not my job. It eventually was their job because they finally sent staff to move concert goers to other entrances so they dont block the subway. Lol!
The Brooklyn Nets of the NBA and the New York Islanders of the NHL play at Barclays Center. The arena was built for basketball, and its amazing for this purpose. Unfortunately, depending on where your seat is its a terrible arena for hockey games. Ive been to a few hockey games and I recommend the seats located in the end that the Islanders attack twice. On the other end of the rink, you might not be able to see the near goal line.
Beautiful venue! Awesome location..easy to find and get to on foot or public transportation! Recommend you dont drive, not much parking available. Great vendors..lots of options! Prices are what youd expect for professional sports atmosphere. Lots of security and very, very organized!!!
Youre better off catching an Uber or looking for street parking...the SPOT HERO parking reservation app is a total scam & they take your money & you waste time going there & your spot has been given away. The Barclays is absolutely beautiful...do yourself a favor & get there early & look for parking on the street or in a garage the traditional way so that you dont miss precious time watching a beautiful game in a beautiful urban arena.
Pretty good venue overall and well maintained with plenty of restrooms and concession stands. Prices for items like drinks and food are very expensive. Depending on where you sit you can get a great view, however seats can feel kind of cramped. It’s located right off the subway station so it is convenient to get to. Good acoustics and visuals of concert I went to, would come here again for a concert.
Obviously, this is NOT a hockey arena and it shows. When you’re sitting in the upper deck, you’re far from the ice compare to other NHL arena. Its cold inside because it’s all open. Food was expensive and there was almost no Islanders merch in the store. Not even one cap size 8. Disappointed. The look of the center is great and there was a great energy inside.
My husband and I went to Barclays center for Back street boys’ concert, we did not have really good places but the distribution in this theatre is soo good that we really enjoyed the performance!! We did not lose any detail and was everything perfect!! Logistics was really good, they were always attentive.. I’m pretty sure everyone had fun in all stadium!!
Barclays is cool and all but its not my fav venue. The layout isnt the best for concerts, but I will say that I had a great experience when I saw Jay-Z there. If youre buying tickets just be very conscious of what section youre in, you cant always see the stage from all the sections.
General admission is a chaotic mess. One guy will save a whole row for his friends. The ushers were unhelpful and rude. Go for reserved seating if you plan to attend an event here and dont want to sit in line outside for 3 hours before doors open just to get a mediocre seat.
I visited the Barclays Center for a tour, not for an event but I was able to see pretty much everything. This arena is state of the art and extremely modern, which I admire. Its extremely clean and the seating is comfortable as well opposed to other places like MSG.I was able to check out the practice facility, the locker room hallways, the suites and the various bars in the center and it was an amazing experience. I think the best feeling was actually being on the court. I felt like a basketball player for a second haha.
Visited the Center for the first time to watch an esports event - the Overwatch Season 1 Grand Finals. Very impressed with everything from start to finish - speed of screening and admission, the friendliness and the presence of the staff, the cleanliness and availability of restrooms, the quality of the concessions, the seating, the show equipment and the sound - everything. The place was packed - 11,000 visitors - but didnt feel overcrowded.
Its better than that rundown dump across the river and self proclaimed worlds most famous arena, but this could have been done so much better. The space has average acoustics for concerts and there are some seats with bad sight lines. However, if you have a good seat, the views are very good and the food choices arent bad. A solid average rated arena

2022-04-04Amazing ambience with great energy, just dont take a bottle as the security will throw it away. Great location with a major Subway hub right by, large number of eateries inside (bit overpriced as expected in a stadium, $15 for something filling and $5 ish for water and $12-15 for a can of beer). Ticket prices are also quite reasonable, especially if you book early ($35 per ticket for a Nets Pistons game for a seat with a good view).Multiple cuisines are also available. Great stadium to watch the game and feel like you are part of it.

2022-02-27I visited Brooklyn, New York from California. The Barclays Center was amazing! This was my first experience attending the Brooklyn Nets game. My very first NBA game. It was once in a lifetime. The Brooklyn Nets is a great team. I was really excited and happy when I watched the Brooklyn Nets live game. The crowd was loud, there were cheers, and the environment was optimistic. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Brooklyn Nets. Lets go Brooklyn Nets!

2022-03-14I’ve been here twice in the last 6 months and honestly even for the most busy events, getting in has been pretty quick. Definitely ready all the know before you go information. I think their pre-event communications is what makes entry and getting around so easy. It’s in a great location with lots of train options. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. Getting out of the event was a bit of a hassle and confusing but that’s expected with any larger event with a lot of people. There could’ve been better signage

2022-01-17I had a good time here when I went! While driving around the center is always a pain, being in and inside is really nice. Feels nice that it’s right there! They had good COVID procedures and protocols when I went too. No issues. Don’t believe negative stories or negative hype about the Barclays, it’s a great venue!

2022-04-09The Barclays Center is one of the most wheelchair accessible places i frequent as a Brooklyn resident. I recently went to see Disney on ice with my son and we had such a good time. The souvenirs are a bit pricey but the staff was so nice and definitely went out their way so we could have a good experience.

2022-04-15Fun game, queuing was very efficient to get in but food is very slow. If you plan to go, definitely take a subway if possible — driving is super chaotic and parking is $$$. My tickets were around $70 and the view was pretty good (:

2022-01-30Pre-game day visit! Remarkable building and very convenient location with access to public transportation! Team shop was relatively busy in preparing the game at night! Go nets!

2022-04-09Was there for a Nets game and it was amazing. High quality basketball and great entertainment. Food was good, but pricy. Didnt have the best seats, but view was good nonetheless. I recommend a visit.

2022-04-05On April 3rd, 2022, I went to the Barclays Center to see 2CELLOS in a live concert. First and foremost, the staff was friendly and helpful when I had queations. So thank you to each and everyone of the staff. I appreciated the ease with which I could enter the arena, as numerous ticket scanners made the process faster, easier, and more hygienic. The bathroom was clean. Overall I had a great time. I would go again. Also, I have a sweet spot for the Barclays Center as it is where Barcuh Collage held commencement back in 2017. Xoxo
