Bareburger in other cities:
OUTSTANDING service, 2 young gentlemen served us we ask for (1 sweet dream burger, 1 custom burger and 2 French fries) place was clean and organized. I have never eaten a plant-base burger before but kitchen that burger was DELICIOUS. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and come back for another lol
Bareburger is usually my go to for takeout burgers. Unfortunately, our food was raw when we bit into it. The fries and sides are good, but lord that burger was beyond pink. Bright red! It will be a while before I’m willing to go back. If we were dining in the restaurant, I would have sent it back.
EXCELLENT VEGAN ITEMS!!!Im from Atlanta, visiting NYC. I had passed this place walking early on my way to one of the thousand Duane Reed stores in this city, and saw the words PLANT-BASED so I took a pic of the name. Decided to order from them at around 7:55 PM and received my DoorDash order at 8:15...very prompt.I had no expectations, and the presentation didnt help that, cause looking at it almost made me not eat it, but OMG...never judge a book by its cover, as they say...this stuff is DELISH!!!!I ordered the PB chicken nuggets, which are OUTSTANDING, and I am not a fan of any kind of chicken nugget, but I was EXCEEDINGLY pleasantly surprised with the flavor. Taste just like the chicken I once ate...LOL. I also ordered the mixed fries, YUM!!! With Wham Bam sauce, a dark red sauce that tastes a bit like a very spicy BBQ sauce, the Organic Garlic Aioli, which is a white mayo-looking sauce that has a very mild garlic flavor, not too overwhelmingly garlicky (which I wouldve LOVED) but a hint to let you know its there, and the Creamy Honey Mustard, which doesnt taste like what it is. Kind of a bland flavor, not my fave.Overall, I am surprised and satiated. Great PB nuggets. I will definitely order from there again and recommend to friends.
I normally really enjoy Bareburger restaurants but this location was disgusting and insultingly frugal with portions. I ordered a chicken sandwich in which they burnt and some how the breading was thick, cakey and dry. I also order a kids meal in which they sent 4 rock hard 1 inch cubes of chicken, 9 individual stale fries and the apple juice. Im so mad I paid money for this inedible food. I dont know how they have such a high rating.
Walked 40 minutes to get to this restaurant. They charged $31 for a burger combo. For that much, expect them to ignore your topping requests and refuse to deliver a replacement. Oh, and the milkshake was mostly ice and water. Now I have to start looking for dinner all over again from scratch. Huge waste of both money and time.
Great burger options and friendly staff. Others have commented that its pricey but given the midtown NYC location its reasonable. Theyre family friendly but with interesting and well prepared burgers. The impossible burger (veggie that tastes like meat) was surprisingly impressive, but they also have other adventurous choices.
Bland and disappointing. The sandwiches sounded exciting but in reality were poorly executed, flavorless, and unexciting. The two we tried had lots of interesting topings yet they didn’t taste like anything. The buns were generic and did not taste particularily fresh. The water was warm and took a long time to get refilled, even though the resturant was almost empty. The saving grace was the french fries, which were well seasoned and PIPING hot (burnt my mouth). Again, it had a lot of potential, could have been good, but just wasn’t. Would not come back.
Im not someone whos actively seeking organic food but Bareburger always hits and having Bison meat is great.Bareburger is such a great option for burgers because theyre decently priced for the quality and you also can feel good about what your getting since the concept of the restraunt seems to be environmentally concious.
This restaurant is literally horrible. I ordered from Grubhub & 3 hours later no food. No one is answering their phones or they’re busy. I was able to get in contact with someone once & left me on hold for 10 minutes only for the phone to go dead. They never updated my delivery time in GrubHub. Never patronage this estaurant that treats their customers so poorly.**Update**4 hours later & still no food but now they’re saying they delivered something I never got. Never order from these thieving people.
The Impossible burger was AMAZING !!! Its made of all veggies and its looks like real meat and red like one also. The fries were not greasy and the home made lemonade was great and there secret sauce is DELICIOUS also there ginger ketchup was good.. The service was fast and the ambience was like eating at a steak house. Its a bit pricey but so worth going alone or even on a date. I know Im going back.
The Burger was really great! I got the Paul Bunyan. They have vegan options and meat options. I got my burger cooked medium but it was definitely more of a medium rare. But I find that to be true at most restaurants I go too. It was still really good! Got chips and guac and those were great too. Service was fine. Inside and decor was really great. Its a bit pricey when you consider everything is a la carte, so dont come here if you think youll be paying Wendys prices or something. But for what you get the price is right! Unfortunately I ate my food too fast to take any pictures.
Ok burgers in past. This location is terrible for usually a chain that has great service. Sitting outside Sunday at 3 for over 29 minutes while the African American waitres (so the manager may identify her)only had 2 tables. She was busy with one, never gave us a menu and my son who is 13 said dad the service sucks lets go. Never coming back to this location. We could have at least been give a menu after she disappeared back inside for ten minutes after waiting forever and it was not busy We just left.Horrrible, horrible service. No wonder the place was empty. For the owner, the date was March 5th
First time eating in a Bareburger. The place is a bit small and the staff was friendly. There are various salad and other vegan options. The food was good and prepared as requested. Expensive for what it is ($53.00 for two burgers, a hot dog and soda). With so many other burger options in NYC, I probably wouldnt eat here again.
The Impossible Burger: pretty good but still didn’t trick me for meat. They are very close on texture (especially the way it adheres and peels). Taste - it still tastes like imitation meat. Overall, my dining experience at Bareburger was good. Though I will say the burgers are t cheap and they don’t come with anything on the side - anything additional is charged. No side salad, fries, pickle - nothing.
I like Bareburger. I think they have one of the best burgers in the city. The service at this location even though i was the only person there could have been better. I had to get up to find the waitress three times. Her attention was into prep, and as others began arriving she seemed to become more frazzled. I hope it was just an off morning/ lunch, and that this isnt a reflection of her. I wouldnt stop coming here for it. I come here to eat, and the food was made to perfection. No complaints on the food.
Burger was a little small for my taste by packed with flavor, and I loved the fact that I could get a relatively lean meat burger in a high-fiber bun. We were disappointed that the Brussels sprouts were only available in as a share and not personal dish, but thats life. Prices are a bit on the higher side for an altogether upgraded fast-food experience, but this is NYC after all.Would definitely consider coming in again.
Bareburgers quality isnt what it used to be. Everything I ordered was below mediocre. Bison burger was extremely dry. The shake tasted more like ice blended with chocolate milk. The fries and onion rings were overcooked. This used to be one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere and the great service is the only good part.
Best vegan burger that Ive ever had (impossible burger), and the tempeh bacon was a wonderful bonus. The fries were great, the shake was awesome but the onion rings were a bit big for my liking. They even had a vegan shake that I really didnt notice the veganess like at other places. If I lived in NYC this would be a regular spot for me, so Ill guess Ill have to enjoy it whenever I visit. The restaurant is casual and nice and started filling up quickly as dinnertime got into full swing.
I ordered a burger and paid $29 it came with baby spinach and not kale(which I ordered) and the blue cheese was watery rather than chunkySimply horrible a simple bison burger without anything on it, other than couple of hard spinach leaves and the blue cheese was liquid transparent. Never will reorder! Scammers
Ive been here a few times now. Service is always friendly, food is always great. The decor inside is my kind of humor (think animal heads on old portraits of people). Ive had a couple different burgers and the chicken sandwich. All fantastic but I think the chickens my favorite - nice and crispy.
I love Bareburgers plant-based menu. There are so many delicious options. The outdoor seating at this location feels simultaneously safe and comfortable. They were incredibly understaffed when I went, however, with only one overworked but professionally pleasant and helpful front-of-house/ non-kitchen staffperson working. Although that person seated me and took my order rather quickly and made one more additional trip to serve the food, they then disappeared into the store and had to take phone orders, leaving me sans napkins or condiments until well after I needed to leave the restaurant.
Fast spot to get your pickup orders. Food is delicious; their brussel sprouts were crispy and super tasty, Wrangler burger was made as ordered and fatty with its bacon and cheese, and the Mint Chocolate Cookies and Cream milk shake was good as well. The area designated for food pickups is close to the door but too far from staff. Just wondering about the possibility of someone coming n and swiping your order.
Nice place. Burger patties are among the best I have ever tried. Juicy but not oily, you could get taste of the meat. Fries and onion rings were also very good. Using quality ingredients, all organic. Still, I would expect more flavors or sauces in the burger, It was quite plain for me. Still worth to try. Would go for supreme if you visit. They also have a very rich veg/vegetarian menu.
The restaurant has taken all appropriate COVID-19 related precautions. The waitress was very outgoing and greeted us warmly. She answered all questions and took our order promptly. We both ordered the SoCal burger combo...mine with sweet potato fries, hers with regular fries. The food was solid and lived up to expectations with minor exceptions. The only complaints:- her fries were a bit undercooked- her soda was a bit undercarbonated...a common issue with fountain drinks- we were not made aware that some dipping sauces would incur extra charges. We had already given our menus back when we ordered and the waitress suggested the various dipping sauces. The extra charges were minimal...we just think customers should be told up frontAll in all, happy with the food and service.
Great service. The food took a normal amount of time but the service was quick. I decided on the duchess burger while multitasking not realizing it was vegan (I am not) along with sweet (potato) fries. Took a bite and realized it wasnt beef. It looked like a turkey burger but was bleeding and the waiter explained that it was vegan but made to imitate beef. Im not sure Ill ever understand why vegans want their food to imitate the things they dont want to eat, but thought the science of it was pretty cool. Regardless, it was a good burger. Not amazing, but I ate every bite. Being a meat eater Im not sure Id order it again but I would definitely recommend to my vegetarian/vegan friends. Thumbs up.
I don’t eat beef so usually chicken burgers are my only option at a place like this. However, I decided to give their vegan menu a go. I was surprised that the vegan menu is just as big and diverse as the regular menu so I wasn’t limited on choice - probably the best plant-based burger I’ve had due to the sheer number of toppings that are available.Been here a few times since when I’m working nearby and the staff are always really attentive and getting a table is pretty easy
Vegan options, including vegan burgers, vegan cheese and vegan milkshakes! Their regular burgers are really good too. If you have a milk/dairy sensitivity they will even make you a regular meat burger and put vegan cheese on it at your request. I come here all the time, they have very good beer on draft and also had a really good dry cider a couple weeks ago. They have a few tables outside, which are dog friendly. Very good service.
Really nice staff and cool menu. They have menu items that change through each location and also seasonally, but you may also create your own burger or sandwich/salad if none of the options speak to you. This spot is relatively small compared to other bare burgers I have been to but the service and food quality doesnt change :)They also have vegan options, including cheese!
Theres a lot to like about this place. But the burgers are consistently underdone. They say that theyre medium, but you need to order well done to get anything but pink from side to side. The sides are great, the vegan options are plentiful, and the hot dogs are wonderful. But its called Bareburger. So get the burgers right.
This was my second time at Bareburger and my first time at this location. As before, the burger I had was fantastic. I also tried the lemonade which was on the slightly tart side buy still good.I had the fries this time and they were delicious. They have a wide variety of sauces to dip them in but the fries are great on their own.The wait staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were on the small side but at least they had them and they were also clean.
My first time back since they introduced both the Impossible Burger and Beyond Neat. Even though Im a neat eater I decided to try the Impossible Burger. It was very good and I dont I would have thought it wasnt real meat if I didnt know. The rest of the meal was excellent as well and the staff was great.
One of the best burger experiences I’ve had in a while. I got two burgers and a slice of Marionberry pie (to share of course; I’m not a Philistine) for $12. That’s a good price compared to what you get in LA for the same amount. The burgers came with two patties and lots of toppings and the pie was quite good even though it wasn’t warm like I asked. A great experience overall, and food always tastes better when you saved money getting it.
Ridiculously good. The Flamin Bacon burger had a great sauce that was hot enough to eat and still enjoy a good burn. The Bison burger was delicious and juicy. They did a great job with a gluten free country fried chicken sandwich. It was handled well. No issues. We loved the atmosphere and the service was quick and friendly. We look forward to going there again and trying some different items.
Best Bareburger Ive been to in NYC. Ordered a Supreme Burger with fries and onion rings. Order came out in 5 mins. I wouldnt expect that every time, but it was nice to get our food that quickly. Burger was exactly how I asked it to be prepared... Medium-well, crispy bacon and blue cheese instead of American cheese. Great experience, excellent service!
Great place for all the burger lovers and vegan can get together here. Was recommended to get bison burger and I love it, cooked to perfection and seasoned well and prefectly balanced. The staffs are friendly and attentive also helpful in selecting what to eat on the menu. Atmosphere is cozy and laid back. Overall great drinks and food was good.
Expensive, small and not memorable are just a few ways to describe this burger joint. There are to many other burger places within 5 blocks of here on 3rd Ave to choose from that are much better than bareburger. I dont even think the ingredients are the quality the place claims. Dont hold me to that as I am just basing it on taste. Listen, if you want a healthy burger at a premium price, this place is for you. If you are a burger lover and want to try a new place, go for it, that is why I did. Otherwise its a skip in my book.
The food is good, nothing that youll remember later as your best meal ever. Prices are astronomical though for what youre getting.$15 or so for a burger alone, no fries, no drink. Just the burger. $8+ beers. Two for dinner will easily be over $60. They dont really stand apart from Shakeshack and at these prices the bill would be about double.Theres other options locally. Good food, not great food. Get a meal thats worth it, I cant say I got that here.
Decent burger place if you happen to be in the neighborhood but dont go out of your way. I had the California burger and it was cooked perfectly medium. If you are looking for a juicy burger, look elsewhere. For a burger joint, the ambiance was okay with odd artwork on the walls etc. Service was good and the staff was friendly. A few good beers are on tap too.
Bare burger on 3rd Ave had lots of healthier options meat options in addition to vegan options. The food was good. Keep in mind that everything is a la carte. No meal deals here. I had the bison burger which I thought was awesome. The onion rings were crisp and the fries were good. The Brussels sprouts were great. I will definitely go back. They did not have the duck burger and another item that they advertise in the online menu.
Trendy, expensive, supposedly all healthy ingredient burger chain.Their menu even include what sort of oil is being used for frying. I highly respect their determination.Ordered:El Matador - the waiter did not ask for my meat preference. But it did come out juicy, medium rare. I likey. Ordered a side of sweet fries (sweet potato). Guacamole, pickled jalapenos.. all very delicious and satisfying.French Toast with side of maple sausage, egg, and french fries - maple sausage became rock solid a little later. The scrambled egg was not scrambled egg. Good thing we ordered to have 1 sunny side, which came out to be a normal sunny side. The bill came out to $38 plus tip. Not so friendly. But thats bareburger experience for you.
One of my favorite burger places in town. Their WIDE array of options and great produce always makes for delicious burgers. I never go without the sweet potato and french fries specially because of the dipping sauces. Additional starters such as the dill pickles are pretty good as well. Their cookie sandwiches are also worth the try, for the sweet tooth-minded.
I always love Bareburger but I wanna give a special shout out to the server named Shirley R at this location for being super awesome. My sister was in town on business and I met her for lunch at Bareburger, trying to push her to try some of the meatless options. Not only was Shirley super helpful with introducing her to the selections, but she was really nice, down-to-earth, and inviting.
I wanted to find a good burger place to visit with my family while we were in New York. I found this place on Yelp and it was also recommended by one of my friends. My family visited around lunch time in the middle of the week. It was not busy at all but it wasnt dead either. The staff was very friendly and helped us right away. There are plenty of burger options to choose from, from traditional cheeseburgers to coleslaw toppings. They also have some huge burgers with onion rings on top and fries inside that looked delicious. They serve some sides and the milkshakes in mason jars which I really liked. They are pretty reasonably priced for the NYC area and overall we had a great experience.
Bareburger used to be amazing back in the days when they just launched their first join in Astoria. Burgers were delicious and there was a huge variety of meats. I remember we had to wait 30-45 minutes on Friday to get seats. Then they started going downslope. The burgers became smaller, they removed the Elk and Bison from the menu. Dont get me wrong, it is still a very good burger and still one of the best companies but they are going downslope.
I love love love this spot. Maybe Im biased cause its in my neighborhood, but this is probably my favorite burger joint. Its one of my go-tos for first dates, and equally good for nights out with friends. I love the build your own burger style menu, and I swear everything Ive ever had here has been amaaaazing. Great veggie selections too, which is hard to find at a burger place, even in the city. Great beers too. I feel like the price is easily justified by the massive selection and friendly service. And the decor is super cute. A+!!
I wouldn’t say that I had a bad meal, but it wasn’t great either. The problem was with the meat. I ordered a burger cooked medium , and it just tasted like a hunk of meat. Very dry, with little flavor, despite still being pink in the middle. It was just very bland and unsatisfying. With so many better options in the city (five guys, five napkin, etc), I can’t justify spending the money to come here.
For a burger chain, Bareburger is pretty awesome. I love that the fries are thin and natural cut. The onion rings are perfectly spiced. The burgers are made well and are a good size. I had the elk burger in original style with colby cheese and I was satisfied. My friend to went with me had the lamb burger and she loved it. I would definitely return.
I love Bareburger but this place was a disappointment. First the waiter forgot to give me my credit card back. Then he forgot to give me my food after i paid. Then my burger was undercooked, so i asked to have it well done and it came back the same only 2 degrees warmer. And the kitchen was super noisy. People had to talk louder just to hear themselves. Not good guys. Not good. I would give 1 or 2 stars but I understand that it was lunch time at 1:30pm so i’ll give these guys the benefit of the doubt.
I used to love Bare Burger but they have slowly removed all the items I like off the menu. No more Elk, Duck, or Wild Boar burgers. Now they are just a mediocre hamburger place with thin hamburgers. I ordered a Bison burger medium rare when I got my burger it was cold and cooked Medium well. I had to send my burger back and when I got my new one it was overcooked but at least it was warm. Probably the last time I will visit this establishment. On top of that my bill was $22 for a burger and a tiny side salad.
Four of us ate here on a Tuesday night and none of us felt Bareburger lived up to expectation. Fries were a bit overcooked and blah; onion rings were decent. Those with turkey burgers found them dry. My bison burger was spot-on, and the highlight of my meal. Dipping sauces werent as tasty or adventurous as Id hoped. Wines are so-so but hey, its a burger place. Ambiance is rustic and farmhouse-like. Service is efficient. A decent place if you lived or worked nearby but certainly not a destination.
I like this burger chain. Its variety of options and meats will satisfy most any burger aficionado needing a quick bite. I cant help but be disappointed in this location though. Three times I have ordered burgers for carry out and all three times they have forgotten my cheese. At almost $2 a slice you cant help but feel ripped off. Forcing someone to review their meal before they step out is ridiculous. Im going to find another location to go to.
So I will say that Im a lover of bareburger. I usually go to the location by my house which has phenomenal service and the food is always on point. This particular location was pretty and very tech savy far as the pay system goes. However, the missed the mark with the service. They took way too long with our food. I usually dont complain because Im usually being chatty with my partner to even notice but the people after me got their food before we did.The food is always stellar as a whole for as the brand but I think this location just needs to do better.
We usually order from here for delivery for work. They have healthy options like salads in addition to organic burgers. I like their bison and wild boar burgers. My favorite burger is the Wiki Wiki burger which comes with grilled pineapple and duck bacon. Its very delicious. I also like their sweet potato fries which are surprisingly crispy for sweet potato. They also have fast delivery so its still warm when you receive it.
We waited for more than 50 minutes to get two burgers with fries. The burgers were room temp and pretty sloppy. The fries were cold and soggy. Overall, I feel I was scammed into paying $45 for two mediocre burgers. Probably they serve good food sometimes, but there is definitely no consistency.
I love bareburger! The organic, farm fresh, humanely rasied meats make this chain worth visiting! They have vegan milkshakes that are delicious. The concept of design your own burger means there is something for everyone! You choose your roll, starch or gluten free. Then you choose your Patty, meat or vegetarian/vegan friendly. After that, you can add whatever fixings you can think of. I recommend pickles, any of them. Add a side dish, and you will go home happy, healthy, full, and maybe even with leftovers.
Not a fan of Bareburger! Its pretty overpriced, the burgers are $12 and they dont come with fries, you have to order them separete! The burgers itself is not as juicy as it supposed to be! The service is pretty bad, we had rude server and we didnt really have a nice time!
I came to this place expecting a wow factor but it was a bit disappointing. The french fries and the onion rings were average. The turkey burger (country style) was just ok. A very much dry and a bit salty. Will I rush to get back to this place? No. I think it may be a good option for those carving burgers and live around this area but nothing else...
I love bareburger! They have the best quinoa veggie burger I’ve ever HAD! And on top of that they serve delicious sweet potato fries with a variety of homemade dipping sauces. The milkshakes are killer too, they have vegan or just regular! There’s something for everyone at bareburger! Big fan
Seems the only Bareburger that deviates from recipes of the others... I have a garlic allergy and with all others this was possible here they preseason everything. Staff burps, music is hectic and grungy and makes eating here torture. The lemonade served had gone past good and was rotten. Although I love Barburger this place sucks majorly. Never again this place opt for financial district or West of Times Square!
Ive now been here three times and I couldnt be more satisfied with the quality of the meal and the service. In all three cases, I was able to be served within 10 minutes of arriving and it seemed like the servers made an effort to get you seated no matter how busy it was. Ive had both the delicious quinoa burger and the bean burger and they are absolutely amazing while the pickle chips, sweet potato fries, and cajun fries are really great sides. One thing I didnt know at first is that every burger style can be easily had with any type of patty so try the habanero express with the bean burger patty and vegetarians who like spicy wont be disappointed. Really a great place to eat!
Bareburger makes delicious burgers, salads and milkshakes however the uniqueness of this establishment is found in their alternative options. Duck burgers, Bison burgers, Elk burgers are some of the options you cant find at most burger joints. Additionally, the toppings offered, from pear jam to alfalfa sprouts also give this burger joint a flare you cant find elsewhere.
Good place to go thats family friendly and offer a variety of healthy food options. They have a detailed allergy menu and are willing to investigate if they are unable to answer any questions. There are peak times but Ive never waiting too long for a table. It did help having a reservation if we knew in advance we wanted to go during busy times.
This is a cute, happening spot. That said, nothing really stood out to me except the decor. The service was unremarkable, but efficient. I loved all the ordering options with the food -- pickY eaters will enjoy that -- but the product itself wasnt that impressive. My bison burger on a multigrain roll was pretty dry (though I did douse it in several of their tasty sauces). The fries -- and especially the onion rings -- were decent. Id love to try a salad next time as I saw several of people eating those and they looked promising. Verdict: Id pop by for lunch again if I were in the neighborhood running errands, but I probably wouldnt seek it out, unless they delivered to my place.
Worst! Bareburger ever!!!! Wouldn’t even give it a star! Took 40 mins to make a burger and salad! It was not busy and the employees were playing around instead of working. Was absolutely disgusted by the customer service. If you have all day this is perfect for you but if you just want to eat some food while your still hungry this is the absolute worse. (Not my first time at a BareBurger)
Bareburger offers up wild game meat like elk, bison, and ostrich. I ordered the Country Bacon burger with this choice. It had sharp cheddar, a large slab of country bacon, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, raw red onions and mayo. The bison meat was cooked medium, as recommended by the waitress. The patty was thick, least an inch high and had a pink center with juices seeping out with each bite. The meat is very lean and had no noticeable fat when taking a bite, unlike beef. I ordered a side of onion rings and it was great because it doesnt break apart when you bite into them. I would return and try the rest of the menu.
When in after a movie and sat at the counter. Was greater by a very friendly waiter that explained how the menu worked. Ordered a Bison Burger and was able to customize it with my toppings of choice. It was cooked just perfect and tasted out of this world. The frys were also served just right. The place has plenty of seating and has garage doors on two sides that open in good weather so there is a nice breeze and allows more outdoor seating. All the meet is organic and grass fed. Rated A from NYC. I would definitely go back again.
This used to be one of our favorite places to go. Sadly, they continue to eliminate from their menu some of their tastiest options such as the Wiki wiki burger with wild boar meat. They have radically cut back on their cheese and beer selection as well. Dont go here unless you love bitter IPAs!We have complained and the local team says that Corporate calls the menu shots and they have no voice. As a local, we will be heading back to Petite Abeille at 21st and 2nd for our weekly family night out. Sorry to see one of our local treasures go down the cost cutting tubes inspite of their high prices... ($15ish /burger)
The girl who seated us was sad and wasnt talking even when we asked her about taking another tablethe girl who was serving us was so nice but once we finished another girl came and charged us and ran away very fast to greet a group that was getting in (although her coworker was helping them) so she dropped the water cup that was on our table (Lucky her we were already standing)The girl who served us was looking from far and was upset. I think the manager should control it. We usually go to the one on 2nd Avenue and 52st and all of them are super amazing!
This was the last place my wife and me visited, before hitting the plane back to zurich, and it was a very good choice! The staff was very friendly, and the place was very clean. The Choice of different patties is astonishing, I had a Jalapeno Burger with Elk, and some fries, my wife had a Mediteraean with Lamb. It was da bomb! We even got a drink for free, there is nothing to add to this fantastic experience!
McDonald’s like junk for $14? No, thanks. Very salty, sweet and fat- all signs of an unhealthy food. My stomach reacts to junk and artificial food all time. This time it reacted with a heartburn, 50% less effect compared to vomitting after McDonald’s stuff, but still... BUY sandwiches at Pret A Manger for $7.75 , much much much better and it actually makes my stomach feel well
The food was high-quality. I had the Jalapeno Express made with Elk, accompanied by a side salad, assorted pickles, and sweet potato fries (we had several people at the table). Unfortunately, the service was atrocious. The food took forever to arrive - as if they failed to write the time of order on the ticket (impossible b/c it was electronic!). Further, 1/2 of our orders came out wrong. Staff was largely inattentive and inept.
Love love the Bareburger, it has the best meat ever! Try their Roadhouse and Maui Wowie - these are my favorites! I really like how the sweet pineapple brings a delicious yet unique flavor to the burger, caramelized onions are not very sharp, and avocado just pulls the whole flavor together. Cant go wrong by ordering sweet potato croqs either! And if you are feeling super adventurous, feel free to create your own burger by choosing your meat, bun, veggies, cheese and sauce. Whats cool is that the restaurant even breaks down the menu for gluten free and vegetarian folks, so even health conscious-eaters will have something to brag about. #CheeseburgerCheeseburger Go @Bareburger! #GoogleCityExperts
This is the third location Ive eaten in, and all three times have been amazing. The ones on 2nd ave + 96 st, and 46 st + 9 ave, are just as amazing. At the end of the meal I found myself licking the plate. I am fully convinced that the whole franchise is amazing. Shake Sha.. who?!?!?
Would Not Except My Birthday Coupon. This use to be my favorite restaurant. Not anymore. They wouldnt accept my birthday coupon because they said that the app was down...what does that have to do with me using my birthday coupon. Its not right. I traveled so far for nothing. This place has let me down before. I dont think Ill be coming back to this location.
The first time I had it everything went smoothly...thats because I didnt order at home! The delivery service is terrible. My order was apparently sent to my house twice but my doorbell did not ring once. I get a call from a man speaking an alien language with some english words spelled incorrectly every now and then and when I try to reorder im told that its too late. my advice: do not rely on them if you havent had a meal and desperately need to eat!

2021-12-09Good food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. The burgers came with large portion and thick meat in them. The flavor was nice but a bit plain.

2021-07-27Was excited to try the new Gulf sandwich, with the Good Catch vegan fishless patty. I was pleasantly surprised. It doesnt have the mouth feel or texture of a fillet of fish, but it was pleasant and had a fishy taste from the seaweed incorporated into it. I enjoyed it and would order it again. Its a great addition to vegan sandwich options in my opinion. The plant based chicken nuggets were also very good. We had an 11 year old non vegan that tried them and liked them as well. Id highly recommend both. The dessert was the icing on the cake. They had a vegan mint chocolate chip milkshake that was delicious. I was impressed with everything!

2022-02-22I walked in 8:30PM on a Monday and was told they werent serving. Looked like plenty of staff. In the city that never sleeps I will not be going back to this snoozer. There are plenty of restaurants appreciate business. Bareburger you just lost a family & friends load of customers.

2022-07-14Its a rustic setting, very simple. The staff was warmer than i expected. Usually waitstaff in this area can be aloof. But the gentleman behind the counter made me feel welcome. My fries were top tier. Hot, golden crispy. The burger? The burger! So good. I should have gotten a simpler burger for my first time there. I didnt need all the other stuff. It was delicious but unnecessary. I definitely recommend this place.
