Bought a used car from Barrys recently. Was happy with the car, the price, and the experience. My used car came with a 2 year warranty from Barrys. The check engine light came on within a month of my purchase, so I called Barrys. At a time when all repair shops were backed up as a result of covid they went out of their way to get me in quickly. Diagnostic test revealed it was the catalytic converter something that was no fault of the dealership, but an expensive repair. Barrys told me not to worry, it was covered. The repair shop ordered the new one and had it installed the next day. Repair shop was professional and level of customer service throughout the entire process was equal to, maybe even better than, what you would get when buying a new car from a new car dealer. Would buy a car here again and recommend them, and their repair shop, to anyone.
They treat you like family! Had a great experience with Andy and my salesman Tracy. From the moment I called to inquire on a trailer they were great they also made the experience very easy for me. I will be doing more business in the future!
Since my dad purchased several vehicles from Barrys and my brother purchased a camper here and neither ever had a problem, I decided this would be my first stop as I was really in need of a reasonably priced, reliable vehicle. As a single female aware of the reputation of car dealers toward such, I made sure to do my homework on every vehicle on their lot that was within my price range as well as preparing my attitude to not be taken advantage of. As it turned out, I wasted my time and energy needlessly. I was met by Bob who was as personable and honest a man I have met. No exaggeration here. After the car I really wanted to buy turned out to not be a good fit for me, Andy, Bob, and his wonderful team set me up with the perfect car. Its used, so it needs little things here and there, but it has never failed to start and get me, my daughter and mother where we need to go. Without this car, we would be stranded! I could not thank Barrys enough for selling me the best car on their lot!
By far the best used car dealership Ive been to. Salesperson Tracy was genuine, trustworthy, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. I visited 5 different dealerships in the same weekend looking for a truck but had I gone to Barrys Auto first it would have made the weekend much easier, as they really are a notch above all the rest. Honestly, give them a look.
Just purchased a new trailer from Andy. I can’t stress enough how great my experience was. I’ve called other trailer places and got nothing but grumpy people lacking product knowledge. The staff over there are extremely personable and knowledgeable! The entire transaction went smooth. I went there in the morning and within an hour or less I was driving home with my new trailer (and the new plate too!) in addition to great customer service, the price for a brand new trailer was close to the price I would have gotten for a used one off Craigslist.
Purchased a Hyundai at Barrys Auto and was very satisfied. The building is clean along with the cars they sell. The two main sales men were very nice and worked with me through the whole experience. The mechanics let me look under the car on the lift before I bought it which gave another reassurance on top of the 2 year warranty that they trust the cars they sell are good. Over all very pleased with no problem and would definitely recommend buying a vehicle here.

This is my second time driving a vehicle from Barrys Auto. They were very personable and walked me through the entire process of getting a newly used Jeep Wrangler. They were very patient with my family and I and answered all of our questions. It was overall a great experience and I am glad this opportunity to do business with them came up again. Highly recommend.
I met with the owner and he was very insightful and polite. He was not pushy in the sales technique. We came when it was dark out and so he had the car that we were interested in and the garage where was all lit up and out of the cold. Left my wife and I alone as we looked at the vehicle and addressed any concerns that we have. He also provided us with the carfax report. You stayed late so that way he could help my wife and I. We traveled over a hundred miles to pick up this car and we feel that the customer service, price, and vehicle was well worth it. This is a place that I would not mind buying another vehicle from in the future. The show room was clean oh, the bathrooms were clean, and had a nice little waiting area. I came in with four kids all four years and younger and he was patient with them all.
My wife and I bought a Wells Cargo enclosed trailer from Bob for our business. Bob was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made the purchasing process very seemless. Andy was also friendly and easy to work with. They gave us coupons for lunch at a local restaurant and we enjoyed lunch while the trailer was prepped, inspected and paperwork was completed. We returned about an hour later and drove our new trailer off the lot. It was a very positive experience.
Fair, honest, knowledgeable, friendly dealership. We bought a Corvette from Andy during winter weather driving conditions. He not only pointed out the limitations of the car on snowy roads, but also demonstrated the handling shortfalls. The advisement and demonstration stuck with us and resulted in a safe drive back to our home in Colorado during blizzard. The car was exactly as described on the internet and was impeccably detailed for delivery. The delivery of the car to us was simple and problem free. It was a pleasure working with someone 3/4 of the way across the country that had the experience and professionalism Barrys Auto has.

Huge shout out to Andy, Tracy and everyone else at Barrys auto center! I have been toying around with trading in my car for a few months now, spent some time chatting with other dealerships and they werent willing to work with me to get me into the car that I wanted for the price range I wanted to be in. On a whim I looked again a couple days ago to see if something stood out that I wanted, and I found my dream Jeep. A fully loaded cherokee trailhawk in my price range in an awesome color. I was nervous about what car shopping was going to be like during this unfortunate time were in but everyone at Barrys made it one of the easiest car buying experiences I have ever had! Tracy went above and made sure that before I drove the Jeep off the lot, I knew what features and functions it had. I had Ike and his team take a look at some issues with my Subaru Forester that were pointed out by a local Subaru dealership after they discovered some problems during a routine recall repair. They honestly told me that 3 out of the 4 issues were not actually problems and quickly took care of the real problem at a cost significantly lower than the Subaru dealer. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the professionalism of the service team and will be taking my car there from now on.
After being messed with at the bigger dealerships I stopped at Barry’s. Dave was absolutely awesome. He was patient and took his time explaining things to me. He went above and beyond. We now have our first Toyota minivan! The first time ever I bought a car and being comfortable through the process!
I have been a customer of Barrys Auto for a few years, primarily for general auto maintenance. The service department always treat me like a valued customer and I always feel they have my best interest in mind. They know me by name.I decided to buy a used car from Barrys because of my past relationship with them and for their two year warranty. The salesperson, Sue, was very welcoming and listened to what I wanted. She showed me several cars in my price range which I took for a test ride, and let me decide. I did not feel pressured in any way. The service department checked the car carefully, making all preventative adjustments. I have been driving my new (to me) Sonata for a week now and am thoroughly pleased at my entire experience with my purchase and all the people there.

2 months ago (April 2016) we went to Barrys, and were greeted with a smile by Katey. She was professional, cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. There was no pressure helping us choose a car. Then Andy walked us through all the paperwork, and he was just as great as Katey. We got a good deal on the car we bought. Everything went great.After we had it for a few days, unfortunately something went on it, and it leaked oil. (It didnt do it on the test drive.) Its a vehicle. A used one. Things happen. Parts dont last forever, and theres no crystal ball that predicts when the next thing will go on it. Barrys took it in, apologized, and fixed it at zero cost to us. They 100% took care of their customer! Thats whats important to me.Since I cant leave 2 reviews: We just bought another car from here (Oct 2017). We got a good price. The 2-year free powertrain warranty is great to have. The car is great. The purchase process was quick and easy. I definitely recommend Barrys.Since I cant leave THREE reviews: We just bought our THIRD car from here Feb 2019). People I told about it at work (2 are ex-Mechanics) all said I got a very fair deal, especially with the 2-year free powertrain warranty. Being an older used car, it had a small issue 2 days after buying it - and Barrys completely took care of it for me. This is why Ill be coming back again.
I didnt end up buying a vehicle here because of the situation I was in with negative equity and such but these people are great! They sat down with me, helped me explain my options and when I didnt understand they took the time to brake down the numbers and go over it with me piece by piece. That meant A LOT to me. Great guys who seem genuinely willing to help you and not just try to push a sale like at other dealers.

Bought a trailer from there and the day I went to pick it up the salesmen told me it was a 2” ball. I hooked it up and left that day. On my way home I went over the railroad tracks and the whole trailer came unhooked and slammed into my truck. The ball was supposed to be 2 5/16. Luckily no one was hurt

Over priced, no room for negotiation. Had my vehicle for a year and had nothing but trouble from the start. The warranty is a joke. It is written so they are not liable for anything. Good thing my husband is a mechanic. Would have cost us thousands of dollars in repairs. Dont have them inspect your vehicle either. When I bought my vehicle it had a rotted leaf spring. They pushed it through to sell. NEVER BUY FROM THEM!! THEY PUT MY FAMILY AT RISK!!
Bought a camper from Andy Rexinger the owner, couldnt have been a better experience! I received a VERY fair deal! I traded in my camper and received a very fair price, and paid a very fair price for the unit on his lot! Their customer service is amazing and the process very easy! I will never purchase another camper from the larger companies! He has several different campers to choose from pop ups to hybrids to travel trailers to gorgeous 5th wheels, a lot of great stuff. I will be in the market for another truck here very soon I will defiantly be back!!
Will never go through them again. Their mechanic was talking crap about me on the other side of door right after I had first bought my vehicle off them. Now having problems with the engine losing power. Got several other mechanics opinions on it before taking it back to them. ALL of them said this was an issue before I had bought the vehicle and that they had just cleared it out. Was also told the vehicle shouldnt have passed inspection with the brakes they left on it and the struts that were broken. They also over looked a transmission leak not once but twice. The dealerships mechanic called all the mechanics I had talked to before bringing it to them to look at liars. They now wont cover the costs of what is wrong with it under their warranty. So I have a list of problems I have to fix and have to dump money into this vehicle, close to a grand. They pride themselves on making it so their customers dont have to put an excessive amount of money into the vehicle that was purchased through them. Yet here I am struggling to now get my vehicle back in working order. The best part is the quote they gave me for replacing the broken part (apparently at a discounted rate) is way more than anyone else locally. Never have I had such a bad experience. Nothing but a bunch of scammers and I wouldnt recommend their business to anyone after everything I have gone through with them.

Take my jeep there for maintenance, have always been pleased with their service. Purchased a car recently, very pleased with my Elantra. Never had sales presure. The added security of a 2 year engine warranty made the deal that much more pleasing to me. Strange for me to drive a car after driving up high in my jeep, but really enjoy the sporty ride of my new car! Thanks guys!

I was there about a month ago to purchase a Cargo trailer. It was the easiest purchase to Make. The prices are lower than most places. The staff was helpful and courteous. Just like Old fashioned friendly service.The transaction was quick and Easy. I Will most likely go there in the future to purchase something else! Can not beat the hometown atmosphere there. : )
I bought a car and I had to put at least $800 extra dollars into it. Also Vance and the team are rude and dont return my calls or even bothered helping me with a warranty! I know my car will need more work on it so if you want a good car go somewhere you actually trust!
The issue here isnt the purchase of the vehicle. The salesman were honest and willing to make a deal to complete a sale. The issue is the service department after the sale. I ran into unforeseen issues with the vehicle and instead of helping to resolve the issue, they kept pushing it off until after the lemon law was in effect. Saying the vehicle had no check engine codes (cleary stored in history) and blaming water in the gas (tank was drained and cleaned). They didnt even make simple recomendations even if it wasnt the solution to the problem, just to take a shot at solving this. Typical tactics of a garage not caring for the owner but themselves, even though the purchase was made at their dealer. Thankfully I used to a be an auto mechanic with multiple ACE certifications and years of experience to resolve this issue on my own. Simple step by step check list narrowed down to an injector. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealer if you think this they will honor a warranty or even try to fix it properly.
Our Toyota RAV4 with 274,000 finally died. We also have a new baby on the way, so we needed a minivan, but we did not want payments. The big dealers had some vans, that were a little beat up, but they would not budge on price.We needed a good solid van for low cost...Bob “Digger” Zobel from Barry’s Auto Sales got us what we wanted and more!! Since this was for my wife, he spoke and dealt directly with her. Many dealerships did not. Run away...if you dont live close dont buy here. Service hours are not for working people.I live in Buffalo and was told how wonderful there warranty was....LIeMy engine light came on in 20 days...my mechanic said it was catalytic converter.They said it was a sensor they changes it light came back on same code. Guess what now its out of warranty. Service wont return calls .Horrible service
I purchased my first automobile from here in 2003-2004. Both during the purchase and in hindsight I felt taken advantage of and treated poorly. While Barrys tought me everything NOT to do when purchasing a vehicle, I thought I would at least write a review to caution other college students who may be considering them.A few of my learning experinces acquired from Barrys:Do NOT get attached to a specific vehicleWhen a salesman says he will not negotiate with you, go somewhere else.Do not buy a car from a salesman who high fives his boss outsideNo matter what your circumstances, only shop from staff that treat you with respect and take u seriously.Do NOT buy their extended warrantiesDo NOT use their service departmentIm honestly disheartened to see these guys are still in business. While I understand a salesman and dealership needs to make a profit, it should not come at the expense of exploiting people. Needless to say I would imagine loyalty to this place is hard to find amongst others who purchased from them in the past

They returned my car with a crooked steering wheel after $2500 worth of work. If my mechanic had not noticed this, the lack of alignment could have caused expensive damage to the car long-term.

I bought a Subaru Outback from them. Didnt realize until i got it home that they sold me a car with two blown head gaskets and half ceased brakes. They put new brakes on the car and neglected to lubricate the caliper pins, so they rusted in place. They did however replace the head gaskets at no cost to me. Sales experience was fantastic, service experience was not so good.

Terrible place. couldnt do something as simple as a small bank loan for 5 grand for me. I am a college student so of course my income is low! They tried asking me for a co signer with a car that was old (2008 pontiac) with 98,000 mi. Pathetic, really. So anyway, I was approved for a different car in a different dealer. DONT BUY cars from this crappy dealership. Smells bad, only one big fat guy working there and the old lady has rotted teeth with no ambition to help people or sell cars. Ech.

I would never recommend any one I went today had $8000 cash in my pocket looked at 2 campers and kept getting cold shoulder and no cant work with that much cant negotiate the prices went to camping world same day paid cash bought a newer and bigger camper for 1400 less its sad.

2022-05-15I just opened an equipment rental business and Barrys Auto center was my first stop. From start to finish customer service was on point! They took the time to stay open late on Saturday afternoon so that I could look around and decide on a few purchases, when I stopped by last minute. From the very first meeting to handing over the check and driving off with our two new trailers Barrys Auto Center and our team built trust and rapport. Were looking forward to continuing to work with Tracy, Andy and the rest of the team in the future.

2022-01-04I came across this auto center in my search for a used car in a market that is less than desirable at the moment. They had the exact vehicle I was looking for at a reasonable price which is very hard to come by right now.The entire process with them was easily the most convenient and pleasant car buying process I have ever had, and thats speaking from far too much experience buying cars. I would recommend them to anyone I know and everyone that I dont. 10/10

2022-05-09We needed a second vehicle and I had scouted out quite a few potential dealers. Figured we start at Barrys. Turns out that this was our only stop. Our salesperson was Tracy. I cannot say enough good things about him. He gave us a sheet with with details and pricing for all the cars. When we had questions, he was easily accessible. No pressure at all. We picked out a Toyota Matrix. Barrys contacted our insurance company, took care of getting new plates, and had the car ready for us the next day. Ive never had this good of an experience when shopping for a car.

2022-03-20We purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla this past week from Barrys Auto Center. It was a fantastic experience. The car looked great and the owner and the staff were extremely pleasant to deal with. This is the first time I left a dealer feeling good about buying a car. I plan to purchase my next used car from Barrys and I would recommend you do the same.

2022-06-10Dont make our mistake & trust this business because of all the good reviews. We bought a vehicle that supposedly passed state inspection. Except the entire undercarriage was rusted through. Over 90 parts of the exhaust system needed to be replaced.The warranty that was supposed to be the best in the business wouldnt cover a dime. Which ended up not even mattering because every mechanic -- including the Ford dealer -- refused to work on it.A huge selling point was that they stand behind their vehicles 100%. We would be able to return it if there was a problem. But when we contacted Andy he told us to kick rocks.

2022-03-29Im 16 and bought my first car from here, a 2005 Pontiac sunfire and was so excited to hear that it was in really good condition. Before I bought it I was told another kid my age was looking into it. Also, I was assured that all the cars on the lot are in good condition and they only sell cars they would feel comfortable putting their family in. I hope that isnt true because I havent even driven 1,000 miles yet and my speedometer has went out on me multiple times and can be delayed by as many as 15-20 mph. None of this was covered with their warranty and Ive paid for everything out of pocket. They also sold me the car without any power steering fluid and barely any gas in the tank. Overall what was supposed to be a huge exciting event in my life has been nothing but a headache.
