Absolutely amazing service, got me in a new car that I liked from the jump at an affordable price and with great attitudes all around. These men and woman here are nobody to mess with! They’ll get it for you right the first time. Jared, Ryan, and Ally we’re all amazing people and I definitely suggest taking a look at your next ride with them!
I popped in to Basil Ford service without an appointment to inquire about vehicle recalls and missing documents that I needed for my 2011 Crown Victoria.Again, totally on a whim and without an appointment.While another Ford dealership to remain nameless practically shooed me away because of the age of my car, the service manager at Basil saw me immediately, and went the extra mile by not only answering my questions, but printing out the documents that I needed.Very friendly, and top notch service.I will be back!
I had the absolute BEST experience at Basil Ford in the falls. Blake and Ryan Garrigan went above and beyond to help me find me new vehicle. Ask questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted and needed. As long as it seems sometimes car shopping, they made this experience the best. I would recommend Basil Ford and Blake and Ryan anyday!
Jared H. was amazing through the car purchasing process. I was in town to visit family and there was a car that I really wanted to purchase. We were a little separated price wise, but Ryan and Jared were able to make everything work perfectly. Definitely a painless and easy car buying experience.
I hope the work is good; dropped it off at 9:30 a.m. to fix a sensor & an oil change took 6 and a half hours to get it back. My driver’s side door & seat were filthy black on my tan leather as well as greasy hand print on my dashboard. I had just cleaned it the week before.
Car shopping can be a hassle. I dislike dealing with dealerships, and sales people in general. This will be the second vehicle that I’ve driven in from Basil Ford. The sales people on the floor are not pushy and very upfront about purchasing or leasing a vehicle. I called Thursday morning and drove off the lot on Friday. I spent less than two hours total in the dealership. Matt R, Blake F , Amanda R. And Shelli , were phenomenal to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to shop here again.
In all my years of dealing with a dealership. This by far was the worst. From the salesman lacking having lack of experience to the Used Cas Manager lied to my face. He and I agreed to fixing a few issues with my purchase and he was not honest. Then oh course after paperwork was signed he changed his whole attitude. This dealership has to be the worst. Id never deal with them again nor would I recommend them to anyone I know. I passed down my previous car to my daughter and me being a man of my word I did just that. Basil ford are not a company of there word . So with that being said I do not recommend buying a car form them.
Best car buying experience! Walked in for a pre owned vehicle and walked out with a preowned and a brand new 2021 ecosport! Chris Winne greatest is with a smile and made the process so easy. He is amazing and I would recommend going to see him. Finance people were fantastic!
I bought myself a Ford a few years back.I found myself needing professional help and brought the car over to Basil Ford. They might charge a bit more than other mechanics but they were able to assist me when I needed. After a year I needed them to fix a part that was under warranty with them and they were more than happy to help to get me in, and everything was covered by parts warranty. Thank you again Basil Ford. Any major mechanical problems I have in the future Ill be returning to you guy and gals.
Bought a used truck from here and thought initially that it was a good truck. Found out the service that they supposedly completed was never done and the truck was sprayed with liner to hode a rotten frame. When I found the yellow plunger in the transmission pan when I changed the fluid out though, that took the cake. This means that the fluid had never been replaced ever, even though I was told that had been done.
The service dept. is vindictive and recently refused to do NYS inspection on my vehicle while waiting for parts in the body shop because years ago I gave them a honest review on a bad experience and how the service manager treated me. Im wondering if John Basil is aware of how professionally vindictive the service dept is.
My interaction with basil started online where I began communicating with cherie who was really key to the entire buying process between her and a gentleman by the name of Blake they were the best from beginning as it pertains to everything from financing to picking up of my vehicle. Both of them stayed in contact with me and made sure things went as guickly and efficiently as possible .Great team at Basil Ford Niagara falls.
Alyssa at Basil Ford Niagara Falls N.Y was totally awesome she took the time to get us in the best vehicle possible she spent several hours this was for our Grandson so all the safety boxes had to be checked and she was able to do just that love Basil will definitely be back in the future also thank you Ryan for your outstanding support
If I could give less than one star I would! I made appointment to see a car and was told I had to wait until inspected and they let someone else in ahead of me when I specifically made sure I was first to see it. Then when I questioned why and how this happened I was told “it was hard to keep track”!
They were able to get my wife’s car in quickly for breaks and her airbag recall. And lent me a car so I was able to get to work. From start to finish everyone who helped me was amazing. And they do give military and law enforcement discounts, which helps a lot! Their Entire Service Dept. Is on point. Thanks again!
We originally purchased a car through Carvana. But a day before our delivery they told us our car wouldn’t the there for another 8 days. That wasn’t going to work for us, so we looked up a car we were interested in and realized there was one at Basil Ford. But we needed it THAT day. So after I filled out the inquiry, a very pleasant woman named Amanda called and told us the car was available. When I told her we needed the car ASAP, she checked to make sure it could be done before we drove the 2 hours to Niagara Falls. Luckily for it, they could! Our appointment was at 2 PM and we walked out at 4:30 with our new (to us) car. Everyone was very nice and accommodating and exceeded our expectations. We got a great car, for a great deal. I couldn’t be any happier with our experience there!

We bought my girlfriends car here and had such a great experience from beginning to end. Chris was a very personable guy and made sure she got what she wanted. I was also very pleased with how little time we actually had to spend at the dealership. Probably 2-3 hours tops over 2 days from coming in to look and leaving with a new car. Looking forward to coming back for a new truck for myself.
We stopped in with our two young kids looking for a very specific vehicle. We worked with Blake who offered the perfect balance of information and helpfulness while also giving us some space as we checked out all sorts of stuff in the vehicle. The team was fantastic and accommodating.
Outstanding customer service. Looked at my truck the day I called and my vacation went uninterrupted. Took the truck in about 9:30 and Brian diagnosed, found nothing and had it back by 3 at no charge. Not to mention, they shuttled me back to the campground and and picked me up when the truck was done. I am confident in saying that would never have happened at any of the Atlanta dealerships...I would have been out a few vacation days and been renting a car.
I received service twice the first time my car was returned with a swarm of fruit flies inside and my rugs were filthy and I noticed some miles were put on it this time around I took a picture of my mileage 37 miles were used in my vehicle bugs were splattered on my windshield and front of my car my old oil change sticker was on the floor also I spoke with the manager and he sarcastically asked did I want to be compensated $10 for my gas never again will I bring my car back to be serviced there
I was shopping for a pre-owned vehicle with conveniences I was accustomed to, not expecting to leave the dealership with the perfect vehicle. Ryan, Blake, and Matthew made the transaction smooth. This was the first time I had work done in the service department at Basil Ford of Niagara Falls. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. I was referred to your dealership by my boyfriend who said the people there were great and he always received great service. I did get all that. But when it came to my trade in I felt like I could trust the salesman that they were giving me the best deal they could offer. I have bought 8 vehicles in the past 3 years. Every one of them I’ve traded in a vehicle and have gotten a fair price. When I check back I notice the dealership makes a couple thousand dollars on the trade in. Which is what is supposed to happen. And that is alright. This time around, I was trying to get myself to a certain number for monthly payments. Which was in my opinion completely obtainable given that I was trading in 2 vehicles. One of which was completely paid off. He first offered me $10,200 for my truck (paid off). It seemed like an alright number. I wasn’t 100% sure what it was actually worth. But my payments weren’t where I needed them to be. So he came back with a final offer of $11,000. That got my payments a little closer. They spoke about refinancing a couple months down the road and I’d be okay. So I trusted them and took the deal. Now I check your website and see that you’re making $8,000 on my trade in... i know this because he had told me that you don’t come down on any of your vehicles prices since they’re all priced to move almost immediately. I have never felt so swindled in my life. I understand making a few thousand on a used trade in, but coming close to doubling what you paid for it? That is just disgusting to me. You could have easily helped me get to a better more affordable number also considering I traded in TWO vehicles that you’ll be making money off of. It was just an extremely selfish move on the salesman’s part and it was wrong. Very wrong. My boyfriend used to recommend everyone he talked to about vehicles to come to your store. No longer will he or I shop there, and will NEVER recommend your place to anybody.
Excellent car buying experience. They had an exact match for an in-demand model I was looking for, offered a very fair price, and made the whole process as easy and enjoyable as it could be. Amanda gave great help on the phone and Blake guided very well through the buying process. Would definitely buy from them again.
Came into Niagara Falls to visit family and developed a slow leak from a stray nail in my driver’s rear tire. My father recommended Frank Esposito at the service department at Basil Ford. I walked in with no appointment. They gave me a shuttle ride home and had my tire patched and fixed within 2 hours. Fantastic service! Could not have been more satisfied.
Went for wipers and squirts doing there own thing..they changed a component that fixed wipers but squirts dont work..I was told thats a different issus..witch it maybe.. ..but it was my complaint and I wanted it fixed..I had to get a ride 70 miles round tripe to leave there with a problem still..Im sure it comes down to them wanting 2 deductible paymets..payments.. so its Friday 6pm and Im stuck
Bought my second Dodge Grand Caravan GT here a few months ago. Salesman Chris W. was awesome and went above and beyond. Amanda R. was great as always, as was Matt in finance. Great crew! Will buy here again when its time to upgrade to a Promaster or Transit 2500 series van.
This is the second car I’ve bought with the Basil dealerships. My experience this time was fantastic! Blake is great, if you go- ask for him. He was personable, nice, genuine, charismatic and made me feel like I was buying a car from a friend Ive known a long time. The sales manager of this location was not my favorite, but that was fine because Blake 110% made up for it!! Thank you Blake for making my car buying experience easy, enjoyable and honest. Please stay in the business- you’re going to go far and if and when it’s time for me to buy something new, I will be coming back to you.
I found a vehicle online and called to make sure it was still available before making the drive. The woman who helped me out was super kind and helpful. I showed up an hour later and was helped immediately by Ryan Blake. I gone in there in a tough situation and they were very understanding and willing to help. I had my heart set on this vehicle and they knew it. I got back from my test drive and Ryan made talking numbers and the financial aspect pretty easy. He really helped me out in making sure I was taking that vehicle home. The day I went to pick it up Blake helped me finalize all the paper work and make sure everything was settled and ready for me to hit the road. I couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience or people to help me accomplish this. They whole staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend purchasing your vehicles here!
Went to buy a truck today after speaking with the dealership last night. Overnight they changed the price 3000 over msrp. Would not work with me on making it right. Said it was a free country and he can say no, and I can say no. Was the most miserable visit at a dealership I’ve ever had.

Switched dealers because Dave Smith service department was terrible. Im so happy to have come here. The service was great, they took care of me above and beyond what I was looking to have done and it was a pleasure dealing with their staff. Bought a new F150 from Chris Winne, the experience was phenomenal, it was so seamless Chris knew exactly what I wanted and what I asked for! It wasn’t just any salesman looking to sell a car he made sure I loved my new truck and not just liked it. Chris went out of his way multiple times to answer my many questions! I took my 2010 Ford Fusion to be repaired On the right side of my front bumper .they did an excellent job i couldnt ask for a better job. They were professional at the way they looked at my car when they tore it down to repair it..and also showed me my old parts they took off when I arrived to pick my car up and Leo explained to me what was wrong with each piece they took off. and replaced they had cleaned my car and shined my tires I love the Manager Leo he is professional at his job but friendly also he makes you fill he cares .although I didnt see Chris a much as Leo he was Professional and nice also..if u want to take your car to the best place take it to Basil Ford.
Made an appt for 2 for a state inspection, arrived early, was then told it will take an hour and a half to wait. I was told I could wait when I asked that it would take 15 mins. Complete waste if time.. terrible customer service ... will NEVER do business their again. This is the second time Ive been let down by this dealership.
My only experiences have been with the service department, usually with Frank. Anytine Ive asked questions about service intervals or what the work that had been completed on my vehicle entailed, Ive always received an honest answer. As far as the workmanship and quality of the work itself Ive never had any complaints. The work is usually done in a timely manner or at least around the time they told me when the vehicle was checked in. Basil Ford Service Department has my trust.
Im grateful to have my truck back after 2 weeks. Was supposed to be 2 to 3 day repair. Little communication on their part, everything delayed because of back order. But when other things couldnt be fixed it was because of no staff. I feel there is no customer appreciation, had my vehicle for 2 weeks with a hefty bill. No loaner when asked. Not cleaned. No gas. No apology for delay. Only give me the money. I do not recommend! Run to somewhere else!
Initially everyone seemed great! They were very friendly when I 1st came in to make purchase. I recently purchased a Mazda from another Basil location and my husband was interested in a vehicle at this location. To, make a long story short it seems there were lies, unprofessionalism, and complete disregard for the clients needs. They were completely sales focused and didnt listen to the customer. I felt attacked and disrespected. It was so bad my husband almost got on the phone but, I didnt want the situation to escalate. I felt it important the general manager James to know how I was treated. It was important to me to resolve as I had other interest in purchasing...However, he told me he is aware and move on he stated he didnt need to hear anything from me. How does that make a client feel? I am big on customer service as I managed a location in the falls. This community does not deserve this. I initially recommended 2 other people there because they had an awesome selection. However, after my experience I have no appreciation for a general manager that refuse to address clients concerns. At least apologize for the treatment and own the client experience right, wrong, or indifferent. Bless everyone that have had great experiences. I am sure if I purchased a vehicle from here everything would be happy go lucky. Thats not how it should be. Very disappointed. I will continue to escalate matter to the owner. I wouldnt recommend anyone here.
Chris and James made the experience so easy. We walked in and only two hours later we had test drove, negotiated, and arrived at a deal. We came back the next day to pick our new vehicle up and the process to sign and get into it was quick and easy. Oh! And we ended up paying less than we asked for! Blake was awesome worked with us to get the truck my wife wanted and made it happened. The problem I have is the horn was broke been in 3 times to get it fixed now its going off on its own and wont stop at 3am they want me to pay for it to be fixed I will never send any one to there service center but I would send them to Blake he was awesome

Every person I came into contact with at the service center was extremely helpful, friendly and respectful! I had my break pads and rotors replaced, as well as a recall taken care of and an inspection done. My car is running so smoothly now. I dropped my car off in the morning, the very nice shuttle driver drove me to work and then he picked me up from work at the end of the day to go pick up my finished car. Their prices are reasonable and their work is honest. I am very thankful that I was recommended to Steve at Basil and I will most definitely be back!
I was very pleased with everything overall. They were very responsive from my initial internet inquiry, they were awesome and easy do deal with over the phone. They answered every question and gave me a phenomenal price. We lined everything up so when I came in they had the truck and all the paperwork ready. Basically signed paperwork, went over features of the vehicle and drove away. No pressure at all through the whole process. They have my business from this point forward.

The worst experience ever! They would have 0 stars if it would let me. Took my 2015 Taurus in for oil change and point inspection. Inspection sheet was not filled out properly. They said everything was okay except the tires. Something still didnt feel right. Ran my car over to my mechanic and confirmed the tie rod and sway bar had play in it. Brought it to there attention. They were supposed to go back through the car. Only to find tie rod sway bar loose. And that was all they found. Inspection sheet still was not filled out properly. The service rep filled it out instead of mechanic. Didnt feel comfortable with there service. I took my car to West Herr to have serviced again. Much to my amazement came back with more issues. Not only was the tie rod and sway bar bad on the right, tie rod was bad on the left. And my brakes needed attention. My main issue is service that was not performed properly. Not only that if anything would of broke doing 65 going to work. Who knows what the outcome would of been. Blaming a young mechanic is not an excuse. How many other cars where over looked.
So I went back to Basil Ford of Niagara Falls today and bought another vehicle and while my first experience was good my experience this time was great. My salesman Blake was so awesome , patient, and helpful through the whole process. I test drove 4 cars and still didn’t know what car I wanted and even though he was extremely busy he still took the time and to go through all the pros and cons with me until I felt comfortable with my choice. I got a really nice car for a good price and it was completely stress free.
I found the vehicle my dad wanted online. We called and emailed about it and was told by Cherie that it sold an hour ago. We decided to drive from Rochester the next day to look at their other inventory... the vehicle that we called about was sitting for sale. Still confused why we were told it sold and Basil would have lost an easy sale since we had been looking for that specific vehicle.Anyways, we worked with Chris1- he looked into it and the vehicle was still for sale. He told us to take it for a long test drive- which we did. It seems like Chris1 is running that entire place and the dealership is lucky to have him. Chris was clear cut and wasn’t pushy. It all worked out and we were able to purchase the vehicle and my dad loves it. Thanks.
I came looking for a used car. They had good selection but the problem was with the Sales Manager Ryan. The whole time I felt like he was trying to confuse me by just moving numbers around and never presented anything with transparency. When I didn’t like the deal I decided to go elsewhere and he was very pushy and rude.
This is my second vehicle I have purchased from Basil Ford Niagara. The sales people are very Friendly and knowledgeable of all there vehicles. The paperwork portion of the sale is usually uncomfortable but not here. Matt is very trustworthy and that is why I chose to buy here.
My salesman Chris was amazing, Chris along with Sales Manager James, bent over backwards to find me the EXACT truck I wanted, and made the process simply, easy and painless. Even delivered my truck to me near the close of business on a Saturday as that’s worked best with my schedule. I will be sending all of my friends and family in to see Chris for new and used cars in a low pressure environment. I highly recommend Basil Ford of Niagara Falls for your new and used vehicle needs.
Went to Basil knowing that it was a long shot to get approved for a loan given my current position but the minute I sat down with the one of the managers named Ryan I felt Unwelcome. When I told him why I was there and he found out that it may be to hard to get us approved they went from happy to have you hear to great another person wasting are time. And we’re more then happy to get us out the dealership as fast as they could. This will be the last time I will step foot in this dealership. I have sold cars for a living and I’m my time doing so I never treated a customer the way I was treated.
Just brought my vehicle in for an oil change and NYS inspection. The gentleman that works in the service department is always super friendly and nice! I was in and out within an hour AND they did a quick safety recall for me without even asking that I totally forgot about! Also, I appreciate that they make recommendations of what is needed on repairs but always are honest, if you can wait a bit before replacing parts. Thanks again! -A. Kreps
Recently made a purchase of my leased vehicle so there was no discussion of price but all paperwork was ready and expedited very efficientlyUpdate for the service department- A TOTAL CLOWN SHOWTried to give me the wrong car and was really confused when I said the car he brought was not mine. I understand mistakes can be made but to imply that I don’t know my own car was insulting. One particular service writer needs to find a new line of work because he is too overwhelmed if things get busy. Definitely this dealer is the black sheep of the Basil family
After having my new Explorer hit from behind after a recent move back to the area I was on the look out for a new dealership to tend to my needs. Well Ive found them. The Basil Ford collision team specifically Leo has gone above and beyond to create a great customer experience, taking away the sting from that disappointment and annoyance of a damaged vehicle and getting her restored . WARNING: WORST PLACE EVER!From the first day I walked in the door... I saw customers cursing out staff and was unsure why ... then I had this experience...I have had a Ford Focus for 6 years. I made an appointment at this location due to my car having a transmission recall. They were the only place that had an opening sooner than later. My car shut down 2 days before that appointment, so my insurance company paid for my car to get towed to this location. I then had to pay for a rental car! The service department first claimed it was issues with the clutch motor, but then stated that it is the recall on the transmission and a part must be ordered! Here starts the nightmare....They claimed they ordered the part and it could take anywhere from 1-3 months for them to receive the part. I met with James from sales to inquire about just selling my car as is because at that point I was frustrated! James gave me the breakdown of how much it would sell for. I said I would discuss it with my fiance and return.I went back to the service desk and inquired about a loaner car...Well they said they do not lend out cars.Days later they called me from service and stated that they may have a loaner car, which I was confused at that point. I went in that same day to see what was going on. I met with service again and told them here is the paper that James gave me with how much it would be if I would sell the car.. I just wanted my money and to leave the car. I then met with the manager of the dealer who buys cars. I believe his name was RYAN!I explained to Ryan all that was happening and he stated that he did not understand what myself or the service employee were saying. He said he was the manager and can’t go by what the other employees told me about selling the car. He said he would not buy the car since it was not fixed yet! He was very demeaning, arrogant, and disrespectful. He told me to take my car out of the dealership! I was so upset and felt so horrible that I cried! My future mother in law was present and was very upset and felt humiliated on my behalf!I decided to take my car towed elsewhere!!! I got money for the car and bought myself a new car!After this experience, I do not ever want to associate myself with FORD or any FORD BRANDS. I am writing this review to warn you!
I lease cars all the time and with various dealership s and this was probably the most seamless experience from start to finish. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped make sure I ended up with the best vehicle to fit my family at the price I wanted to spend. I almost picked the wrong seat configuration in the Explorer which would have been very upsetting, if it werent for Chris. Everyone at Basil Ford of Niagara Falls was very friendly and professional. It was a pleasurable experience, starting with the recommendation made by Mr. John Basil that I consider the Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend as my next vehicle purchase to the time it was delivered and I drove it home.With a 1.5L EcoBoost powertrain propelling the Bronco Sport with pleasingly ample acceleration and, of course, impressive gas mileage, it has all the up-to-date technology and a very modern feel. I fully expect that the Buffalo winter will not be much of a threat to the “Big Bend’s” four-wheel drive feature, either.Did I mention that it is a cool-looking Truck, err, “Trucklette”, too? Make that extremely “cool-looking.”Well done Ford Motor Company and kudos Basil Ford of Niagara Falls.
The best representation of the Basil as a Team. The body shop manager Leo Murphy went above and beyond to make our car the beauty 😍 we dreamed it would be... I had the opportunity to met the dealership Manager who answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease... The paperwork process was a breeze and the representative of that department personalized everything for our benefit... it was as if we had been there before!
Love my car, but I have to say the people in the service department not so much! They are also very slow. When I initially picked my vehicle up i waited about 40 mins for the detail to be completed and they detailed a black Lincoln. Unfortunately the Lincoln I purchased was pearl white!!!!! Get it together fellas.
Within a matter of three weeks, my wife, my mother and father-in-law and I all had vehicle problems that were too expensive to fix. The three of us went to Basil Ford in Niagara Falls and got vehicles. Chris, Justin and Blake all did a great job taking care all three if us. I have bought probably about 40 new vehicles in my day. I researched my trade, researched the vehicle I was purchasing and went to another dealership first. Basil Ford in Niagara Falls was able to give me the best deal , and beat the numbers I found in my research. James structured the deal and Chris delivered the vehicle, both did a very nice job.
So I originally went here a couple years ago, in a different position than I am now. I wasn’t able to be approved then. The way they treat their customers however, ensured that I would be going back. I spoke with Amanda, who was a complete joy to speak with. No rushing, no pushing, no demands at all. Very accommodating. When I showed up, I spoke with Chris and Ryan. Ryan, the sales manager, is a no nonsense kind of guy. One that is a shock, and pleasure to work with. He’s not the atypical salesman talking you into 1. A vehicle you can’t afford. Or 2. A vehicle you don’t want. He does this by not only looking at the numbers, he wants the story behind the numbers. Why or how are you in this position now? “I can make them (the banks) see that you’re more that what these numbers are. That they don’t define who you are, or what you can do”. Now with my credit score, those words sounded too good to be true. But here I am, in a truck I love, with every option I wanted, with a payment below my max. Basil Ford of Niagara Falls has my business for every future vehicle I’ll own.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Absolutely do not do any business here. My partner’s car was in an accident, and it took Basil 3 months to “fix” it. Not even 24 hours after finally getting his car back, it breaks down. Clearly his vehicle was not a priority to anyone there, even though they claimed to have checked everything thoroughly. Turns out something was extremely overlooked and the service is just absolutely unacceptable. I’m glad my partner will *never* be going back here, even for an oil change. I don’t trust these people at all.
Very convenient to make the appointment and pull right in. However the greeter told me my inspection was going to take an hour to an hour and a half. When I told him even with an appointment I’m surprised and I couldn’t wait that long he said well, it will be a lot less. My only reservation is the misleading wait time. It actually took 30 minutes which I was more than happy with and I will definitely come back for the convenience. Only other negative would be the grouping of employeesIn the garage where I pulled in, there was four or five people gathered around and in a vehicle when I came in in a different one when I left. Making it hard to pull out and they seem focused on the vehicle and not customer access. No harm done.
My husband decided he wanted to look at a Ford Ecosport. We went to Basil as they had a good sign and drive deal and they set up a appointment and test drive for the next day. We get there the next day and nobody there had our name down, the guy that we talked to the day before had already gone home and we were honestly, overall just treated pretty poorly. We were able to get a test drive and we took the car out, my husband liked it a lot. however when we got back I noticed deep scratched all over the car, I took photos too because I wanted to bring it to their attention that we would not be taking that car. They started to go and get the financial work done and basically left us there for almost a hour. I was able to feed my son (he was just under a year at the time) and keep him quiet but he was getting antsy. they finally came out and offered him a deal WITH money down and $20 more a month than the offer in the advertisement. Long story short, we walked out and went to Basil Ford of Cheektowaga, My husband got his car for the advertised price and the sales guy there got the commission.
This was the best experience my husband and I have had by far! We have dealt with several other dealerships/salesman and have never been as satisfied as we are with Basil Ford and our salesman Jack White. The salesman made vehicle searching fun and family friendly as we had three kids with while searching. The process was smooth and easy from start to finish, we left with our vehicle same day with added accessories installed!
I had service done on my car at Basil in Niagara Falls and was very pleased. Drive in the bay, they service people are prompt and friendly, they offered me a shuttle ride if I needed to get to work and a pickup after. Wow!! That was fantastic. When the work was complete they explained what had been done, let me know about the overall status of my car and any concerns I may want to address. Fast, curtious and well priced. I will definitely go back.
First time ever going to a dealer for a used car. My Car salesman Justin was very good at keeping things running smooth. Showed me a nice 2014 Ford Fusion. The paperwork was very quick with all things considering and i got a fair price for my car. Definitely would recommend going, Justin and staff will hook you up nice. Thank you!!
Walked in to pick up my truck from a service appointment and there was a girl slumped over sitting at a table who mumbled at me to see what I was there for. A man then walks out with my paperwork and sets it on the table behind me without saying 2 words to me and then starts talking to me. Took my payment and then I left. For this being a service department nobody was personable and acted like it was a huge inconvenience that I was there to pick up my vehicle that I had just given them my business on. This is one of many unpleasant encounters we have had with this service department. If it wasn’t the warranty we have on the engine this is the last place we would be coming to.
We were trying to head home from vacation but needed a transmission issue repaired. It turned out to be a recall issue. They repaired the car and did not try to force extra repairs on me. They were professional and kind. I would recommend them to anyone in the Niagara area!
Very shady dealership. I was literally test driving a used truck when someone showed up after me and offered the salesman money to hold it for him. He hadn’t driven or seen the vehicle except on the internet. In fact he actually looked it over and test drove it while I was leaving. They will stoop to any level to make a sale. Very unscrupulous. I wouldn’t go back to them if they were giving them away.
I went to Basil Ford to test drive some used cars. The first one had broken motor mounts, the second one had two unaddressed recalls for non deploying airbags and risk of engine fire. They didnt mention any of these things to me. In fact, the salesman told me it was illegal to sell cars that are being recalled. What he didnt tell me is that only applies to NEW cars.
Everything went well just had a oil change for $40 but the thing is they asked if I was going to have a Tire rotation done for $20 more? I feel that shouldve be included with that oil change! So I paid a grand total of $64.75 for tire rotation and oil change... Which I wasnt too thrilled about the tires didnt come with the oil change, but overall a good experience.
I previously went in for service and had an issue. I was able to speak with Bob the service manager and he was more than understanding and was able to come to a resolution with me. I brought my vehicle in to have a Ford remote starter put in my 13 Escape and could not be happier. The service was fast, thorough and all around a great deal! They are not above approach, and are more than willing to discuss any issue you may have. Great team, good service. Thank you Bob for all your help and Basil keep up the good work!
Took my car here for service. Unfortunately by the time the tow truck driver got it there they were closing. Had to wait for the next day. I was quoted a price for one key fob and then was told I had no choice but to get 2. Then I was told I was being charged for them to get the door code also for the alarm to be disabled which I never even was given when I bought the car. Overall something I thought was gonna be around $200 turned into close to $700 what a mess just to lose a key! I will never purchase a ford product again after this car. I missed out on 13hrs of work because of their hours. Other dealerships have extended hours daily that helps people who work
Basil Ford Niagara Falls searched area dealerships for the used car I was interested. They had it delivered to their location and after a test drive I am the new owner of a 2018 Honda CR-V. It was the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. I was at the dealership for less than an hour. They offered me a generous trade in for my car and a great price on the Honda. I purchased the extended warranty for less than I anticipated. I could not be happier.
I just loved my sales man Dave DeNorand!!! He made buying My vehicle quick and easy! So driving home from buying my used Ford Explorer from Basil Ford in Niagara Falls I noticed the vehicle was thumping. So I brought it back to the Dealership and they put brand new rotors and brakes on my vehicle for free the next day, the guys did them in no time at all.They even sent a car out to pick me up to bring me back to get my Ford explorer. The girl reception was nice and accommodating. However, her manager over road her and added charges. Left me with doubts of fairness. This cost about $280, but included an oil change. However, note this same manager previously quoted that same job, without the oil change, for almost $600. I am starting to doubt him.
Service I received at Basil Ford was excellent. Kept to the promised time frame. Coupon for the works included oil change, NYS inspection, and routine maintenance. Felt it was a good value. Dealership waiting area was comfortable. I will use them again in spring for an air bag recall.
I came here and met with chris who was absolutely amazing. We discussed me putting 8000 down with 300 a month finance payments. I put 500 down to hold the vehicle for 1 week to collect the funds. I got back with 9 grand (taxes , fees, registration) and they tell me the agreement had changed i need to put close to 11. Grand down on a 17 grand vehicle and pay 10 grand interest on 7 grand. I told them no I will not that was not the agreement we talked about. Its now been almost 2 weeks. James from the financial department has refused to refund my 500 or reply to my inquiries about it. The manager (forgot his name ) hung up on me after telling me theyll refund it when they do. I heard so many good things about this location just dont understand why Im being treated like this.
My experience was not good. I have owned 3 Ford Fusions, the other 2 had great luck this one not so much. Started with an oil change one year in November and vehicle report given all in green, had a horrible winter driving, in May went in and needed 4 new tires, so bad they wouldnt drive in the rain on them, I ?d why in November they didnt say there was any wear, tech says oh I bet I know who the tech was, yep he got fired. Up sold an expensive tire, carried on about the warranty, etc. In March of following year, bubble in one of the tires, stopped in they didnt even look at the car and said from the desk its from a pot hole, not covered under warranty. I asked it was o.k. to drive on it, they said yes sure. I came in April for oil change and different tech says you have a bubble in your tire, I said I know the other tech said its fine this one says no it isnt you need a new tire, I said well can I get a better price as I bought them here and not even a year old, No. I replaced the tire at Dunn as the price was less for the same tire and their warranty covers road hazard. Now in June have a rattle, take it in, specifically say I dont have cash to spend please dont do anything without calling first, they call with Sway Bar Links, of course warranty up 6 months ago and cost is $315, I said I cant do it will pick car up, car still on lift when I get there and Im on my lunch and then charged $71 to diagnose the issue!!! I asked about the cost when I came in and it was never mentioned that it is $66 to walk in the door, very very disappointed. Also replaced all brakes on this car with low mileage. Many other issues and have called, emailed Basil and no one has ever contacted me! Frustrating to buy a new car, make payments and have large repair bills!
I had an 8a appointment on Wednesday, dropped off the car, was told it would be a few hours and used the shuttle services car to my office.At 3p I hadn’t heard from them so I called. At that point I was told the service tech was starting it next and it would be done by the end of they day, which was 6pm. Half an hour later I received a call saying the car would not be worked on until the next day but they arranged for Enterprise to have a car. I picked up an awesome truck at 5:30p and went home.Around 11:30a on Thursday I was told my car was ready. I just had to return the rental and Enterprise would drop me off at the dealership. When I went in they were going to charge me full price so I laid out the following to the service dept:I had my car to you on time, but I had to call you at 3p to find out it hadn’t even been started on and then get the follow up call that it wouldn’t be done until Thursday.I have 2 small children that require car seats and I could not pick them up at all Wednesday or Thursday late afternoon. If they needed to be picked up early or anything of that nature I would have to have someone else do this.I rearranged my work schedule to not need to be on calls Wednesday but since this carried over to Thursday I took calls but could not take extra time and lost work time to go and pick up the car Thursday, not Wednesday as planned.While 10% was deducted from my bill and a rental was provided I had to point out all the errors and inconveniences brought upon myself because of poor planning. Had the service team called on Wednesday to make me aware of the situation in the morning instead of making me reach out this could have gone better.Customer service and workflows need to be reviewed.
I just purchased a used full size SUV from them for 35k a few weeks ago. I also purchased an extended diamond package warranty for another 2k in which I paid that in full right then and there. Well they said they would honor repairs needed and body work needed once the vehicle has been purchased. So I took theyre word for it and pulled the trigger. They had my vehicle for 7 days and gave it back to me with barely any repairs honored like promised. Scott Delacy the Used car Manager is who shook my hand and promised me Basil Ford will take care of everything the day of purchase. All He did was dodge all my calls and request everytime I called and asked for Him. The only person that responded to my calls and text messages was Justin the salesman who sold me the vehicle. They pawned me off to Him instead of doing theyre job. My situation should of been handled by management not the salesman. Long story short there customer service was terrible. The Managers were non responsive to my calls and request. They did nothing but duck and hide my calls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. Terrible experience.
I had a recall on my car. Made an appointment online. The day of my repair I dropped it off and the service tech was wonderful. I would definitely go back. Everyone was so friendly. I asked for a tire quote and he gave it to me and it was a really reasonable price! Great experience.
I purchased my Ford Escape on February 19th 2021 . I would highly recommend Basil Ford in Niagara Falls and my salesman Justin Steffan . Justin was very accommodating to what I wanted,knowledgeable and not pushy! When your out looking for a Ford stop in and ask for Justin.

2021-08-30Terrible. Especially there collision center. They fixed my car. New parts dont even line up or match colors. Gave me 2 completely different fog light covers. Air bag malfunction light is still on. They claim it never was on. Which is why my insurance wont cover it. Tried to rip off the insurance company over the rims. Then tells me Ill give you a couple hundred out of my next job if you lie for me And to top it off there service department is a joke too. A friend brought her car in for oil changes (bought the car from there) she needed new brakes twice, and new tires all within 15k miles. This place is very shady and will do anything to make a quick buck. Stay away especially if your a female.

I am beyond pleased with my experience from the service department in dealing with my previous vehicle for trade in to the sales department in getting me into my new current lease. Justin Steffan, my Sales Consultant was so kind and caring and extremely helpful during the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and courteous and really cared about what I needed and answered any and all questions I had. That kind of service is so rare to find. I am so grateful he was there to help me with this process and in getting me into my new vehicle promptly and following up the next day as well to see if I had any questions or concerns. Also, James Cain, the Service Manager was very kind and helped me in the beginning with the online forms and starting the process of getting me into my new vehicle. Matt as well, the Finance Manager was so welcoming and went over all the financial details from signing and going over all the fees and needed forms. I can’t say enough about Basil Ford of Niagara Falls. I am very proud to have done business with them and will continue to in the future. 2022-02-02Greatly appreciated the level of customer service I was presented with. The salesmen (Blake) carefully and patiently went through a few different vehicles for me making sure what what I needed out of a vehicle was satisfied. They were able to work with me over the course of what seemed like a longer day due to ensuring I was going to be leaving with the perfect vehicle for myself and my family. I cant say enough how appreciative I am of him as well as the team that was supporting myself and him through the buying process.

2022-06-12Just purchased a really great vehicle at a very reasonable price. Cherie called me early on the day of my first appointment to make sure I didnt have to reschedule also told me who to ask for when I came in. James was extremely helpful at finding what I wanted and didnt try to unwell other cars like some places do. I got started on the financing from my bank right after my test drive. James called me the next day to see if I had heard anything yet just to see how it was all going. I told him I was approved just had to send them some stuff and would likely be in the next day. After finalizing my appointment for the bank I called him to let him k ow when I would be there. He said hed make sure the car went right over for detailing. Chris was also very helpful all paperwork was ready for me when I got there and he checked the detailing before they brought it to me made them redo a bunch that they missed. I was very impressed with the service I received and highly recommend them to any one looking for a new car.

2022-06-28My son purchased a used 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer from this dealership. The sales team was super friendly and helpful. They replaced all four tires and brakes prior to our picking up the vehicle. They didn’t try to sell us any extended warranties or other products. Thank you to Chris and Cherie for one of the most enjoyable car buying experiences. I would highly recommend doing business with this dealer.

If he didnt readily know the answer, he found someone who did and got that information to me in record time. My truck came in months ahead of schedule and I am thrilled about that. During the acquisition process, Blake was extremely helpful getting all paperwork, registration, insurance, etc, done so I could drive away a very happy girl. I got a really great value for my trade in and drove away with the vehicle I wanted. I didn’t feel pressured at all. For a total of almost 4 years this dealership has never given me any issues from customer service all the way to getting my vehicle serviced. I will always recommend them.

The car dealer was very welcoming and made me feel like I was family . 2022-03-03After spending half of a night at another car dealership and not even being able to test drive the new bronco after placing an order I felt very frustrated after I stopped in a Basil Ford Niagara Falls. I was treated with respect . Excrement salesmanship from Blake Fountain ⛲️ & also James the manager . They pulled the bronco out of the show room for me to drive . Spent a good deal of time explaining the products and I was pleased with my trade value. Follow up has been great 👍🏼 I would recommend Basil Ford in Niagara Falls.
