They are always busy so I never get the opportunity to utilize my free oil change for life but they are the only place I take my car too for repairs.Update review 3/1/22: Had my car service for inspection. They complete the repair that was causing my engine light to come on. The service was fast, they were reasonable as I thought it would cost me more, and the most important thing is they called to inform me what was wrong, what needed to be repaired, and the cost before doing the repairs. I will continue to have my car repairs completed here at Basil for the life of my car.
Best dealership I have ever done business with. In late 2019 I graduated from college and moved from Louisiana to Buffalo. The car I had in school was a junky so I was forced to sell it before moving. My first time going in the dealership, the salesman told me exactly what I needed to do to get the best deal. I came back a week later and was out in a nice car that I picked out.
Basil Transit was so amazing in taking care of my son and I for his first car purchase. They were not pushy at all. They respected the budget we had to work with and did whatever they could to get us to a comfortable monthly payment. I am so grateful that my sons first car purchase was such a breeze. We went in around noon and left with his car, same day!! Great group of people at this dealership!
I don’t truly make posts but this one is warranted. In one day my car shopping was done. Thanks to Brian at Basil Resale. My husband & I knew what we wanted took a test drive, filled out my application, credit was ran in a timely manner. Brian took care of transferring my insurance, rates were great, this process was seemless. While finalizing my paperwork, my 2018 Cadillac XT5 was cleaned & ready to go. If you are looking for great service, great prices & reliability please stop into Basil Resale on Transit. Thank you guys for all your help & having such a friendly atmosphere.
2022 update: The service itself was decent but the price that was quoted did not match the price that I payed. I ended up spending 200 dollars more than what was quoted. Make sure they include taxes, labor, and whatever other hidden fees beforehand. I take the blame for this due to having a busy schedule this past weekend and not asking ahead of time. Just a heads up for anyone that dont have time to keep a close eye and babysit their vehicle while being serviced.
I bought a car from here last summer and have only regretted it since. The car itself does not provide me with the main features I was looking for when purchases. Constant small issues with the radio and overall just feel like my needs were not met. Throughout the buying process there was a ton of miscommunication or just lack between the employees to each other and myself. Warranty that is offered has a $250 deductible but when verbally asked was not given that answer, had to find it in the small print later in life. Service center is opened incredibly inconvenient hours if you work a day job, even though they’re opened on saturdays there’s nothing that I’ve needed looked at that they’re able to do then. Definitely regret not taking my purchase elsewhere and am not thrilled to be stuck with this for another 3 years.
Brian is the most nice, funny guy that I’ve met at a dealership. He got me my first car very quickly. I recommend going to basil and going through Brian to get a vehicle. He was such a pleasure to be around and he made the experience very fun and exciting. Thank you Brian!!!

I literally could not have asked for a more positive experience in purchasing a car, and I am extremely grateful for the service I received from Brian at the Transit Rd. location. I wasnt the easiest person to deal with, as I came in there with some obstacles, but Brian literally went above and beyond, to walk me through the process and ensure that every aspect of my purchase was handled. ***I bought my 2nd 2018 Jeep Cheerokee from Basil on 1/15/21 but did not get car wash until 2/25/21 when I noticed water coming in car at delta sonic car wash. The car was sold to me with a broken rubber seal as seen in the attached picture but now the service manager said: Water leaks are not an item covered by our 6 month 6000 mile warranty? This worn out and broken rubber seal should have been noticed when they inspected car before they sold me the car. After many attempts to have this fixe Basil wont pay for full sunroof repair but would pay half and I would have to pay half. They told me where to go for estimate. I went a couple of weeks ago for estimate and the vendors employee spent about 10 minutes looking at it writing down the vin number, calling his supplier and came up with price of part and labor. He then gave me his business card and when I called him to make an appointment for repair he vaguely remembered me and had no information written down but said I can go back for him to look at vehicle again to see what he would need to order. I would have thought he would have down that last time???? The sunroof should be fixed at no cost to me and not put me through so many hoops. Also I tried using the air conditioning for the first time on 3/23/21 and even though the air conditioning was on max full blast it is warm and not cold. Next time I buy a car 2 years old I will bring it through car wash on test drive if it has a sunroof and test the air conditioning even if it is in the winter. They should do better inspections before selling a car 2 yesrs old.***I was told the car I was going to buy would be buffed out and detailed prior to purchase on***1/8/21 so I cleared everything of the car I was trading in only to be told the car I would purchase was not getting buffed out and detailed. They had over a week to do it and once I touched base prior to purchase of new car I was then told it was not being done although I was promised it would.I bought the Jeep 1/15/21 during winter so I never thought about testing the air conditioning until last week when the weather was nice and the air was not cold but felt warm. I made appointment for 830am Thursday and no one was there to take care of me until 845am and I left the car with them. I get a call at 1130am 3 hours after dropping it off just to tell me Basil wants $145 to test the air conditioner. First of all the air conditioner should have worked when I bought the car. I have only had the car 2 1/2 months and being charged to test an air conditioner that should have worked in the first place . How could this not be covered under warranty when the car is 2 1/2 months old let alone should have been working when I bought the car. This is one disaster after another.
The only reason for the 5 stars is Tom our salesman he was very professional I told him exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle we had a couple hiccups with the company and Tom stopped at nothing to make the situation right hes definitely an asset to Basil Tom is a talker so be prepared to talk LOL
Just recently bought a car from here, gotta wait to pick it up on Monday though which is fine. The entire process was super easy from start to finish. I am very pleased. The sales girl, Sarah, has been beyond amazing! I highly recommend her!!! I cant wait to go back on Monday to pick up my car!So heres an update, I love the car however, they didnt bother to tell me that they lost the check. When I came in to sign all of the paper work, they stuffed the check back in with my receipts and I had to have my mother grab the check and drive from Niagara Falls just to bring the check because of their stupid and careless mistake. Its a good 45 minute to an hour drive one way!Free oil changes for life, awesome! Not for my car! Ill go to where my mom got her car fromI can get 4 of them for $80. Im willing to pay the money. Im not bringing my car here for anything.

Sarah is patient, knowledgeable and kind; and she really is in it to help find you the best match for your needs. She never pressured me, rather she encouraged me to wait for the car I absolutely loved. I worked with Allan as well; and he could not have been kinder or easier to work with. Service department was fantastic. I had some repairs I needed done and my extended warranty covered a large portion of it. My vehicle was returned is great condition, I am always happy with the service to my vehicle, and the customer service. I recommend them to everyone. I drive almost an hour to get there, but I am a loyal customer for life.
Trustworthy and honest service. Joe promised he would find me a used vehicle that matched not only my price needs but a personal checklist - things like 4WD, nicer interior, etc. He DELIVERED in under a week and got me into a vehicle that I love. Almost 6mos later have had a few fluke mechanical problems that could not have been foreseen but all covered by my warranty and fixed with integrity and kindness. I would recommend anyone to go here for a used vehicle - everyone in that building is beyond kind and really cares that you end up in a vehicle that you love! Beyond that they will work to find you a price and warranty that works for you!

I always have a great experience when I go to basil resale on transit. I recently went for service and put my snow tires on. Free oil changes for life cannot be beat! Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming, you can tell they are not only good at their jobs, but they enjoy what they do! And this is consistent through the years. I purchased my car there 4 years ago and the whole experience was easy, fun and enjoyable. I plan to go back to basil for my next car and I tell others to do the same.
Tom and his sales staff were absolutely fantastic and worked extremely hard to get the vehicle that I wanted along with the needed financing. Theh were fast, efficient, and extremely accommodating and friendly. I have had bad experiences at other local facilities however I highly recommend them as they will do everything in their power to help you get what you need. I will absolutely be back to purchase all pf my future vehicles from them. Price wise the vehicle was below what other dealerships had the same exact vehicle listed for, not to mention the other dealers had higher mileage than the vehicle that I purchased. I am beyond pleased with theur service, and I now know a trusted place I can go for all of my car shopping needs! Thank you all!!!Edit: I had originally given them 5 stars, however the past 3.5 weeks I have been trying to get a hold of someone in service and I am only getting a voicemail for a Mary, and no one calls me back. I am definitely extremely disappointed in this service, I shouldnt have to call every day during business hours and have to leave a general voicemail every time.

Recently bought a car for my daughter. There was a small problem upon delivery that was corrected right away by Sarah (sales) and Ryan (service). They were completely understanding and very professional. We had no doubt that the situation would be taken care of. Great Job and Experience!
Got my car and the dealership was very accommodating with any request I had....EditHave to update my review because oh boy things have changed. They will say whatever you like to get you into a car but as soon as you try to take them up on the warranty you purchase through them. They treat you like a burden. I took my car back to the dealership 3 separate times for the same issue and each time was told nothing is wrong with it while I had a light coming on the dash. It eventually got so frustrating that I got rid of the car and went to a much better dealership who actually stands behind their product. The sales department can be very helpful but the service department is where this company severely lacks.
I saw a mustang GT on a website and gave them a call just for the heck of it. I talked to a sales women by the name of Sarah. I told her what I could do for payments and filled out the credit app online. A little later she called back and everything was a go. I pretty much bought the car sight unseen which is a very unconventional way of doing things . Upon arrival the car was as advertised and I was in and out in less than an hour with my used/new to me mustang. The only complaint I have is the prep and delivery of the vehicle. I used to work at a dealership and I have a pet peeve about some stuff. Obviously the battery went dead at some point and the radio was on a static AM channel and the clock was way off. I always made sure that stuff was corrected for the customer before delivery. One of the tires was a little low on air which was annoying due to the tire pressure monitor on the dash constantly letting me know about it . The car had half a tank of fuel which is ok but once again u have a customer who is paying for a 26k vehicle it would have been nice to have a full tank. The staff there was very courteous and polite. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a used car. They got me the car and the payments I wanted and couldnt be happier
Forced me to wait 2 weeks to get the car way to long for the the car, the glove box doesn’t work and now I have to drop off the car to be fixed also one headlight is out very very disappointed with the lack of the service department checking this car out before I could finally get it since they made me wait so long. Some 150 point check yeah that is sarcasm last car I will buy through Basil and I will tell friends and family to never support this dealership. I’d love to talk to Robert Basil personally because this location is run terribly!
Didnt take us in until an hour after our appointment. Parking was atrocious, there were no handicap accessible spots in the service area, and cars were haphazardly parked everywhere. They got greasy handprints all over the inside and outside of the car, spilled oil on the exhaust manifold and left it a quart low. Horrible experience.
Basil Resale is very laid back & friendly staff. Transaction went smooth without a hitch. For the price of the vehicle I was a little dissapointed the wheels were ArmorAlled over dirt & didnt receive a 2nd key or even a discount purchasing a new one. So far love the car though!
I put off buying a vehicle for the longest time until said vehicle forced my hand. I just bought a great gently used vehicle from Sarah Mayle. Now what you need to understand is that I sold cars years ago... For like 6 years! So I know how it works...literally. To my total surprise this went extremely smooth and I am completely satisfied with my experience! No pressure, great price and service beyond the sale! I couldnt pass up the deal! I will say my sales person was great he was friendly and helpful but for my experience it has been horrible! When I bought my equinox they agreed to fix the rust spots in two parts that was missing paint. I went yesterday to have that done and let’s just say I could have gone to Walmart and got nail polish and done it myself. On my paper it said paint repair not touch up. The sales women comes out to get me and says they did the best they could. I could have done a better job! Very disappointing that I was lied to about it being fixed. Another thing is i know I bought a used car but selling a car with 5 year old tires!? When asked about it the repair guy there looked at them said they were fine and patched a leak in one. Two months later I get a flat tire. Go to Walmart to get it fixed and am told they can’t fix them because they are dry rotted! How can your repair guy fix a dry rotten tire but another shop can’t? Didn’t want to admit they were bad? I love my vehicle but the customer service I was offered is extremely disappointing and I will let others know not to trust what they say to people.
The customer service here really is great! Thats not something you find just anywhere, and it goes a long way. They always answer questions you may have and are very fair about price and how long a repair may take.However, the repairs themselves arent nearly what they could be based on my own experience. I have had the same seal on my transmission replaced 3 times now, and each of these repairs had problems regarding the wrong parts being ordered and (minor turned major) mistakes being made all along the way. Now, I suspect the same seal that has been replaced these 3 times is leaking yet again, after only having it replaced 6 months ago most recently. This is the reason for a 3 star rather than 5 star rating.However, everything else that there is to experience at this dealership really is great. They offer free oil changes, are willing to greatly negotiate on price based on your needs, and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I simply suggest you go to a brand dealership rather than here for any repairs above a simple brake change. It may cost more, but it will save you many a frustration!
Ive been taking my car to Basil Resale on Transit for years. Everything from oil changes to new brakes and snow tires they have gone above and beyond for me. Ryan the service manager has always been a pleasure to work with and I trust them to give me an honest opinion. Def give them a try.
Not only did they go to work for me!!! They IMPRESSED ME!!! I picked out a car, they made sure I went home with it! (ok maybe not the same day, Im a different case) And gave me a realistic deal on my trade! Idealistic down payment, and out the door knowing I am covered! I am very happy. Everything went pretty easy when I sat down and discussed the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. I was approved for a loan and asked to take the vehicle to my mechanic before the purchase. They took it in for me where a leak was found in the oil pan. When I called the store about it I was told it would be fixed before I picked it up. I picked it up two days ago, and forgot to ask about it. I text the salesman the following day and was told it wasn’t fixed due to the vehicle being under warranty and I had to take it in to a Chevy dealer myself. They refuse to do it now after I was told it would be done. I referred my niece to them but now told her to go else where so she does not have any problems. If you say you will take care of something take care of it!
Please avoid this dealership at all costs!1. The 2019 Nissan Murano that i purchased from them was Canadian and came with no warranty!2. The car came with multiple door dings that they had promised to remove prior to delivery but did not.3. The car was giving to me dirty and was not properly detailed.GM and District Manager were of no assistance to help me. True Scumbags!
Very friendly service in all departments. I can’t believe how quickly they got me on the road in a fantastic BMW!Among management, finance, and sales I couldn’t have asked more questions and had each one completely answered immediately.Really, I was on a tight schedule and they went above and beyond helping me finance the vehicle, going back-and-forth with my insurance agent, and getting me in a clean & perfect condition crossover on the same day I came in for a test drive. Of course, it helps that they took care of the DMV hassle for me on the spot.This is my 5th car and by far the easiest to purchase.
I have had such a pleasant experience buying a car from Basil Transit, I would (and have) recommended it to everyone I know.After an incredibly unfortunate accident left my car as a total loss, I furiously searched for a replacement that I could afford and would also be a good fit for me. I visited this location rather disgruntled from several disappointing lot visits. I appreciated the time I had to browse on my own, then went inside and spoke to Anthony. He is incredibly personable and helpful. Talking with him feels as easy as having a conversation with a friend, without the car salesman pitch. He understood my concerns with getting financed and assured me that we would be able to find me something that would fit both my budget and my life.The manager, Doug, showed me a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan that seemed to be perfect for me. He let me test drive it for a full day to see how I liked it, which allowed me to really get a feel for how the car drives and get used to being behind the wheel. When I brought it back, Doug even went for a drive with me to explain and understand any concerns I had with sounds, vibrations, etc that I wasnt used to.Throughout the whole process, Tom was my go-to guy. He was the person working directly with the different banks and options to get me approved for financing. He explained every step of the process, keeping me in the loop throughout. He, much like Anthony, is incredibly personable and easy going. It is easy to tell that he takes pride in what he does. I feel like he worked a miracle for me for this to work out.My last vehicle was from Basil Sheridan and I had such a bad experience, I was hesitant to try any of the Basil dealerships again. My salesman, David, at Sheridan had zero personality, did not understand even basic social norms, and did not explain to me anything going on with the vehicle I had purchased. I did all of the work of finding a car with no help from anyone else there. When I came to pick up the car, I was told it would not be ready for another week because of some repair it needed. I was not informed of this until I was there, ready for the delivery.To make matters worse, my insurance contacted Sheridan about the vehicle being a total loss and let them know the paperwork they needed to send over. A week and a half later, Sheridan claimed to have no record of my insurance contactons them. I was on hold on the other line with them as the call was made... When I went in to cancel my warranty, the man I spoke to explained that I would take up to 8 weeks for that to happen. Thank goodness for Tom at Transit. I called him and he took care of the warranty for me.TL;DR- Basil Transit is the best and Tom is a miracle worker. If you want a pleasant experience, go here. If you want to be angry, annoyed, and let down, go to Basil Sheridan.Its really like night and day .
Tom and Sarah and Doug took care ofMe. They got me into the perfect suv and was patient with me looking at many and driving many throughout a months time. I called a lot and probably annoyed them but they were so great and kind and patient. Didn’t hate buying a car finally and enjoyed the experience !
The Staff, especially Sara of the Internet Sales Team. She was a gem, my first time buying a high end vehicle was a seemingly effortless. Prompt responses, direct information, and corner cutting. It was and awesome experience. And Free Oil changes for life! Winner 👍🏾.
My car stopped running and I went into panick mood. I was able to contact Basil, and got it to them. Within a few hours, my car was finished and back on the road. The staff was very professional and understanding to my situation. Will take my car back to them for all services

I would never buy a vehicle anywhere else!! The employees go above and beyond to cover every single need! Every single detail! Sara Mayle kept me updated several times a day on the car I wanted to purchase. She had it running and ready for my arrival... Every single question and concern was addressed! Everything extra that I wanted for my car she was able to set up for me at my convenience! She was able to set up 3 of my extras all for the same day as to make it easier on me! Purchased my bumper to bumper complete extra warranty for a gr price!! Other than normal wear and tear... they cover ALL repairs for 4 years, plus roadside assistance! I have oil changes free for life of my car!! Plus, purchasing my car there I was blessed with an additional discount for undercoating to protect my car from the evil of winter... salt damage from living in New York! Buying a used car with 100 percent piece of mind and NO ONE does it quite like Basil Resale!!!! Thank you for making my purchase so easy and letting me drive it home... Had a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium for almost 4 years, I loved it but was time to get a newer vehicle. I definitely wanted another Fusion. Sarah at Transit Rd in Williamsville found exactly what I was looking for very quickly and the entire process was extremely enjoyable. The manager of this store is the most dishonest person i have ever dealt with. The work that was supposed to be completed on my car at delivery was not done as promised. After bringing my car back to have it fixed i was told by the manager that it was not part of the deal. He threatened me saying he had recorded phone calls of the conversation that never took place. After a week of not having my truck and no recorded phone call found i had to pay almost 400$ to make a repair that was supposed to be part of the deal. Dont trust there word they are dishonest. After the sale forget about them doing anything for you. Get everything in writing or save the headache and your money... buy somewhere else.

I cant convey how pleased my wife and I were with the entire process. We lived in Los Angeles for many years where buying a car can be an inhuman and degrading experience. After my car was totalled, I was in a real bind. Everyone that I dealt with couldnt have been kinder or more helpful! They drove me to the rental place to turn it in and even lent me a car over the holiday weekend. The team went above and beyond to get me back into a vehicle that fit my budget. Friendly Staff. I test drove a few cars at this location. The Cars are priced higher then blue-book value.Test drove a BMW and as the trunk was opened a nut came loose from the taillight. The salesman then pushed it back into place and said we can fix that.Test drove a Mercedes Benz C300 and the dealership would not do anything about the bubble wrapped tints Dealership said: We would have to add the removal process into the cost of the car......??? Your trying to sell a Luxury Car with obvious flaws and not offer to fix????Would have given a lower rating,however the staff where all straightforward and understanding.****Buyer Beware ****
Worst place Ive ever bought a car from. Not only was my car a filthy mess on the inside, clearly they did not make sure the breaks were ready or the wheel was ready as both squeak when I drive it. Tried to contact the manager and got no where; emailed the finance manager who guaranteed me a call from himself and GM-that didnt happen. Extremely pissed and dis quested. Oh, and they screwed my paper work up 4 times...there goes my trust! Complete bologna!
Reached out about a few various vehicles I found online and was contacted by Sarah. I was in the next day for a test drive. The vehicle I drove wasnt exactly what I was looking for. Sarah and I sat down to discuss what MY current needs were in a vehicle. We found a 2018 Fusion hybrid at their fredonia location. The next day she had the vehicle brought to her store and even brought it directly to my work for me to check out! No pressure sale from her, no pressure from the finance department. Another great experience with Basil on Transit. Not only do they service your vehicle efficiently and honestly, every employee is extremely pleasant. Living in Buffalo for a few years and trying out a few different servicing shops, Basil is by far the only one I would/could recommend. Worst place to buy a car ever. They dont keep paperwork, or type things into the computer, then they lie and say you never told them about service issues that youve been having for over a year so they are not responsible for repairs. They have record of 3 of my 11 oil changes there.. telling me i havent been there.. when they are free.. you really think im paying someone else $36 to change my oil when its free since i bought a car from here? Besides havig to wait 3 weeks to make an oil change appointment nothing ever gets taken care of by the service department. They will tell you nothings wrong then a month later when you car breaks down completely now sudden there is $2000 of work to be done..that im getting done for $650 from a different place because i will never ever service my car at this dealership again. I wouldnt put it past them to break something purposely on my car while its in for an oil Change for extra money. Its that kinda place. Shady people and an owner who walks away while your complaining because he doesnt know how to handle customers. They owner actually said that they are all individually owned so hes thinking of not even doing the 2 loaner cars they have for people while your cars in the shop for 2 weeks while they make unneeded repairs over things that are really broken because its “too much hassle” for him. Maybe you should rethink owning a dealership since its so stressful to make your customers that spend 14,000 happy. There great when your trying to but a car and spend money but the relationship of customer service ends there. They were rude to my mother and tried to call me a liar about numberous issues ive told them about numberous times that werent in their system because there employees are too busy sniffing cocaine to input anything in the computers i guess.
Thank you for the opportunity to review basil resale center. I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra on July 2nd and picked it up on the 6th. The sales people were incredibly irritating to deal with. I walked out over the price of the car and they called me five minutes later to say it was a “misunderstanding” between the sales person and the manager. They agreed to my price so I bought the car. I picked the car up on the 6th and while I was told it was ready, it took them another hour to get it ready. Still, it was filthy inside and needed to be cleaned thoroughly. They washed the outside but none of the door jambs. There were pieces of trees in the trunk hinges! The inside was Not Clean. It was vacuumed but there were finger schmutz from the previous owner on the radio and steering wheel, which I was promised would be removed and was not. I wasn’t about to wait another hour on pickup so I did it myself. I discovered on the 7th that the sun visor on the driver side was missing. I alerted the sales person the next business day about the safety issue of missing a sun visor. She said she’d “look for it” and after a week said she’d order one. It’s been yet another week and I have yet to hear about it. A kind Samaritan told me one of my backup lights isn’t working, despite the fact it was “inspected” two weeks ago. Also Tom said he’d find me some floor mats. Low expectations on that one too. Two stars because I actually like the car.
My experience at basil resale in Williamsville on transit was amazing they were were there for me through every part of the sale and my salesmen sarah mayle was awesome through the whole process I definitely recommend going to see her if you are looking for a vehicle.
These people tell you what you want to hear. I have bad credit (yes, my fault) but to blatantly lie to me and tell me that they’ll be able to do something is horrendous customer service. I was first told that the reason I couldn’t get approved was because I had gone to another Basil location (finance manager told me this) and the bank couldn’t show favoritism. I specifically asked if that was the only reason and was told “yes”. I was also told that they wouldn’t leave me without a vehicle and they had an in-house program. Okay fine. Well I was told I would get a call at 9:15 am, and didn’t, and when I called them at 1:00 pm, I was told by the salesman (the finance manager didn’t have the balls to answer the phone and made the salesman answer) that the bank couldn’t approve me because of the negative equity in my current vehicle. I then asked about the program and was told that the GM probably wouldn’t do it because of the negative equity. Be warned! Stay away from these people.Update: As you all can see, the owner requested that I send them an email at their email address. I sent it Friday, and guess what? No response. Can’t say that I am surprised at all. Perhaps they could use customer service classes based upon all the crappy reviews they’ve gotten...
I would like to thank Tom the salesman for assisting me in finding and purchasing a vehicle for my retired parents. Everyone at the dealership went above and beyond to get financing and a payment that my parents can afford on a fixed income. The life time oil changes and engine 4 life program will be a great benefit to my parents. Thank you Tom and everyone that made it possible.
Went to this location for an oil change and tire rotation. When picking up my vehicle I was told it needed synthetic oil, which is an extra charge. This is not true based on the manuel that comes from the manufacturer. The manager went ahead and called the dealer where It was purchased to ask them. He was told that the vehicle did not require full synthetic oil, conventional oil would be ok to use.Tires were supposed to be rotated. But were not. I marked both front rims with a black dot to make sure it would be done. Of course when I checked it had not been done. They also state on their invoice that brakes are checked when tire rotation is done. The tech marked down a break measurement without even removing the tires.When I went back in to let them know the manager told me to call service the next day.Definitely not good customer service.Extremely unhappy about being lied to and cheated.

I just recently brought my car from basil on transit and I must say I absolutely love this location. My car salesman, Charles Davis, made me feel welcomed and was very patient even with me being very picky and indecisive. After a couple test drives, I finally found my baby. I could not be more excited. Thank you Charles!!! I would recommend him to anyone.
First time customer attempting to have an oil change performed by the service department. Fortunately I took a walk around the back of the building to get some fresh air. To my utter amazement I saw a guy jacking up my car in the parking lot. Yes, I said parking lot. When I asked him what he was doing he replied, changing your oil . I replied, Out here in the parking lot? No, thats not acceptable. Please put the car down Im going inside to tell your manager Im leaving and never coming back. When I spoke to the service manager he acted like this was completely normal protocol for them. To top things off, when I got in my car to drive away the inside car door handle was covered in grease and dirt. Will never consider or recommend the Basil Auto Group for any future service or a car purchase after this rediculous experience.
Went for oil change and tire rotation with Groupon. An hour late later, was told it was done. Checked the air pressure in tires and they were as low as when I pulled in. Made me wonder if tire rotation was done. Went back in, and they said they would check it out. Fiveminutes later was told tires now were set to the correct pressure but still dont know if they got rotated
Took forever to hear back for them to tell me I was declined twice! Was told they are waiting to hear from another lender! They never got back to me!!! I had to go up there just to request my deposit back, they then started to pull my credit again only to be declined again! Then it was suggested to me to turn my vehicle in (that I still owe on) and do in house financing with them! Not a smart thing to do! Poor customer service!!!
I think I bought a Lemon from Basil Resale in Depew It is very frustrating my first inspection since purchasing the vehicle and it is failing emissions for open monitors I cant seem to get to clear. No one there seems to care at all they keep telling me to drive it and bring it back every time I do there are more open monitors. There were 2 open when I got it inspected drove it brought it back and then there were 4 open, drove it some more brought it back and there are now 5 open monitors. Dont know why I wouled expect them to care they got the 24k from the bank why would they care. They got paid I got pain :(
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. When I purchased my BMW 328i, one of the headlights developed terrible condensation the day after I brought it home. It took days of emails to get them to agree to fix the issue (which still returns periodically). Now, after taking off the wheels to replace the rear brake pads, I find that the studs and rotors threads are both absolutely destroyed and now have to be re-tapped. Should have been fixed before it was listed for sale.
I just bought a 2011 Chevy equinox from here April 2017 were now in July 2017!! I have had nothing but issues and the service manager Ryan is rude and nasty he told me they could not do a oil consumption test because there not a gm location but sell gm products he told me I was over miles which I wasnt and refused to send it to there gm location to be fixed they just dont wanna eat the cost of the issues because the whole motor needs to be pulled out to change the pistons and rings. All they did was chamge my oil and sent it away .I was called a lier they lost my reg 3 times gave me a broken key that wouldnt lock and had to keep calling to talk to anyone. I will never buy another car from this place again!! Now I have to pay for Davids Chevy to look at it change the oil/do the test and fix the issue and wait to gm to reimburse me.
Came to rhe dealership in Williamsville to brows ,ended up leaving with a new to me truck.... Salesman Brian and sales manager Cory were absolutely great in the process, gave top dallar for my trade and actually made the progress enjoyable for the first time ever...id definitely recommend this dealership and will go back for my next purchase.....A huge thank you to cory and Bryan for making it happen..

My girlfriend bought a 2011 Chevy equinox from charles. And she hasnt even had it 2 months and the transmission is going on it. They told her that shes past her lemon law warranty because she hit the 3000 mile mark as she pulled in their parking lot. So now she has to bite the cost of them diagnosing it and then the cost of a new transmission that he father is going to put in for her. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealer AT ALL THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and like to let ppl drive around with and expired temp registration because they kept losing the paper work
This is my first time buying a car & the experience have been HORRIBLE!!!! They are very unprofessional!!!!!!! They basically give a run around about everything ! They gave me a car with a recall on it .. and its the engine now they wont give me a loaner car or rental & I havent even had the car for 90 days !!!! It still has a warranty , Ryan told me his self if there was anything wrong within the 90 days they would fix it no problem but yet Im car less ! This is ridiculous!!! Worst customer service ever !
They just sold me my first car! Everyone was so friendly and informative which was super important to me. They worked really hard to get me everything I wanted and more, while making it affordable. My experience with Basil came when I was stranded in a gas station with a dead battery and a dead cell phone. Doug happened to be there at the time and from 10:30PM-12:30AM he tried jumping me several times, and eventually waited with me for AAA to come and give me a tow. Just a random act of kindness, but one I am extremely grateful for. Ill be visiting him at Basil when i need some new wheels.
Wanted a refund on my extended warranty and sat with an individual back in early January 2018. I have yet to get it and have called over 6 times in regards to the situation. The customer service in regards to this situation is beyond terrible. Walking in and WILL talk with a manager to get this resolved. A Customer should NOT have to do this. NEVER recommending
Was jerked around for three weeks. Finance guy said he was working on getting a lower interest rate with the bank. I finally checked out West Herr Resale Outlet on Transit Road for a one day buying process. The interest rate I was given by West Herr was 5% lower than what I was quoted at Basil.
I Appreciate such great,fast service so after having bought a car here i continue to visit for free oil changes and service repairs.The service manager Ryan is super chill and helps in any way possible.The mechanic that worked on my car actually came out and explained to me what was done in detail.Nice place to buy a car from.
After waiting 4 weeks to hear back from service, I called and left 2 messages , which no one returned. I called a third time to speak with an actual person. After all this time I was told I had to take my vehicle to a authorized dealer to have it fixed. A month of my time wasted waiting for nothing......unreal.
Well when ya buy a car for almost 6 grand ... You really shouldnt have to change tires because they had put plugs in them and you get a flat 1st week after your warrenty ... And then when ya ask them if it has a leaky valve cover gasket when you buy the car and they tell ya no but you find 2 of your spark plugs drownding in oil . thats a leaky valve cover gasket... If you buy a car for 6 grand from someplace you shouldent have too do anything to the car for a year... Atleast.. Want my opinion great people vary nice treated me vary well but had lied about what i had asked about the car ... They had said they gave it fresh spark plug change but they would have seen the leaky valve cover gasket if they did .... When you buy a car from hear take it to at least 3 other mechanics so they can pick it apart and you can get your stuff fixed b4 your warranty runs up ...
Would of got no star but had to give 1 to warn everyone about what happened to us.Myself and my son have been looking for a new vehicle for him.We stopped at basil and was told to come up with a down payment and he would have the vehicle.After a couple visits and negotiating we came up with a deal the finance guy.Said come up with the money and well get him in it.To come up with the money my son had to sell his old vehicle which was his only transportation to and from work.My son very excited about a new vehicle called basil and told them we had what they asked for plus a little more and they told him he couldnt have the vehicle.They broke there word and now my son has no transportation.We are definitely never going to advise visiting this place to anyone.Now theres a chance he may lose his job.

2021-10-25Basil does NOT stand by their values portrayed. They sold me a car a 20 Malibu and immediately after I took delivery of the vehicle 2 weeks later when I finally took it on the highway (cuz I work from home) I noticed a severe wobble at highway speeds. With further investigation at a shop my husband works at as a technician he found behind the brand new wheel covered installed on the vehicle 2 rims were severely scrapped and bent up and no longer true round after seeing on the balancing machine. Immediately contacted my sales associate who said they would call me back waited 3 months with no reply. Called back again today and said they can’t do anything for me as in it’s been too long and said somebody else could have damaged the wheels. Funny how the wheel covers have NO damage at all. So all in all if you’re looking on buying a used car go to any dealer EXCEPT BASIL.

This process took quite some time but working with the two lovely ladies Sara and Mary has been very seamless. They madeThe purchasing part of easy once the lien was released I was in and out. 2022-02-172 months ago I bought a car from a different dealership (getting away from this one on purpose) and I contacted Mary about my warranty, which had a $200 deductible after being reassured several times during sale that it was the same as my sisters which has no deductible, because I should be receiving a refund since I didn’t reach the limit on it. She failed to get back to me for several weeks then after emailing and calling again she informed me that it takes 4 weeks or so. Here I am 2 months later and nothing. I emailed her almost a week ago and can not be bothered to even give a response. Even after no longer having me as a customer they still manage to highly disappoint me at this location. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone especially when there are so many other around with nice, honest, educated people who care to reach out to their customers with respect or just in general at all

I had scheduled an appointment to see a used car on the lot.I understand that its only business, but the dealership had contacted me stating they sold the car I was interested before my scheduled appointment to come check it out. Then they had the nerve to ask if I would be interested in anything else.They dont care about helping you. Youre only dollar signs to them.Its things like this that give car dealerships a bad rep. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
