Very knowledgeable, and helpful! With this being a dealership, repairs will usually cost a bit more than your average garage, but the service center is reliable, transparent, and they do great work! If your problem is a persistent dashboard error light, or something ambiguous, they can solve it for you.
Best dealership experience ever. I saw the car online, reached out and I was assign to Cole to help me with the process. Very professional, very reliable and very committed to his job. I expressed to him I need the car within a week. I leave in Orange County and I will need a relative to drive it to me. I thought I was asking for too much but he made it happen in less than a week. Zach Liaros (sales consultant) helped us in buying a new Highlander. He has been superb and very helpful at all stages of the interaction. There was no push for sale, instead he helped us make informed decisions. The nice thing about Basil Toyota is that they dont charge market adjustment fees to inflate the price of the vehicles trying to take advantage of current supply-chain shortage. I strongly recommend this dealership based on my interactions with Zach.
Had to have my sienna towed to basils on Monday night for blinking check engine light. Van would barely run. Was very surprised they were able to look at it first thing Tuesday morning. Matt was great at communicating what the issues were and they were able to get all issues completed that day. Pricing was typical for a dealer but I was very happy to have my van back so soon. Will definitely return for my next service.
Great Experience in purchasing my MY2022 Rav 4 Prime SE from Basil Toyota especially for a out of state customer. Cole, Mike and Hannah made the whole process really smooth and I was set to pick up my vehicle without hassle. Team made me aware about the availability of the vehicle and the time since searching to picking up the vehicle was less than 5 business days. The team is very knowledgeable at handling Out of state customers. Special shout out to Cole for being professional, honest and also picking me up from car rental place.

Our family needed a new vehicle after my wife and daughter got into an accident. I looked all over the east coast for a Prius Prime (I live in Indiana) and could only find one at Basil Toyota. I was concerned about buying a car at a dealership that was 500 miles away from my home, but the staff at Basil Toyota took very good care of me. The staff was professional and was easy to work with. Scott Roeser in particular made sure that all my questions were answered and even picked me up at the airport when I decided to drive the car home. Scott showed me the ins and outs of the new Prius Prime and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle before I drove it home. I wish there more dealerships like Basil Toyota here in Indiana. If I could give it no stars I would. First they tell you you can get financing for 3.59 and we can give you a college credit of $500. The day of that you’re supposed to pick up your car mind you had to drive an hour and a half up there. They tell me oh well we can’t get you that five dollar college credit unless you do last months and we can only give you a 5% rate. So we had to go through our bank and get that rate. We get up there they have the sales tax wrong they forgot to add the $500 deposit that I had put down on it everything was a mess should’ve just walked away from the transaction but my daughter really wanted the vehicle. I would learn everybody to stay away their scammers they also said oh we’ll give you $2400 for your car go to come back and then they’re like no we’re gonna do $2200 and then we argued and they finally gave us to $2400. Sad part is the finance guy didn’t know how to do his job. Just buyers beware and look at small details.

Basil Toyota provided me with the best car-buying experience Ive ever had! A car that seemed to fit what I was looking for had come up on the dealership website while searching online. Since I live in Rochester, I was at first hesitant about making an almost 2-hour trip to look at a used vehicle. But after finding nothing of interest locally, I decided to take a chance and make the trip to Lockport, hoping that if I liked the vehicle it might be possible to conclude the entire process of buying, including trading in and arranging financing, in just one day. The car was just as portrayed online so no unpleasant surprises. I had an awesome salesperson in Cole Murrell who seemed enthusiastically invested in achieving my goals. Cole is personable, knowledgeable, considerate, and forthright. Its obvious that his top priority is taking excellent care of his customers. He, the sales management team and financial specialist worked with me to give me a very fair deal and make everything come together so that I was able to return home the same day in my new-to-me vehicle. I love my new car, and my only regret is that Lockport is a bit too far to have it serviced by Basil. I heartily recommend Basil Toyota, and Cole!

I just purchased a 2021 Tacoma from Basil Toyota and could not be happier with the process. Cole, my sales guy was awesome. I live in Syracuse but Basil had the Tacoma I wanted. I thought that being 2and a half hours away might pose an issue but never have I had a vehicle purchase go so smoothly. I will definitely consider them for my next purchase. We needed to replace a Toyota Camry which was damaged in an accident. We were able to complete the entire transaction on a 2018 Toyota Camry in about 3 hours. Our sales rep Blake was a pleasure to work with as was his manager Mick. Overall, a good experience, and, expedient, since we drove all the way from Caledonia to look at this car, not expecting to drive it away the same day.

We ordered a new car at MSRP and were told we would only have to pay MSRP however when we showed up to pickup and pay for our car there was an added $2,000 charge for the dealer markup. What a scam. Get everything in writing from this place because theyll get you if you dont!
This was a very smooth buying experience. Once I settled on a specific model, it took just two quick phone calls to figure out numbers and financing. Everyone I spoke with was super friendly and helpful. Really appreciated being able to get as much out of the way over the phone, which sped things up when picking up the car.
We were on vacation near Niagara Falls, on Saturday, ready to drive home when the check engine light with the dreaded “triangle of death”. They agreed to see us immediately. They could easily have hit us with an expensive diagnostic. Instead, Shannon, he knew her stuff, explained that the triangle wasn’t flashing so it was safe to drive home. First class people.

The wait was at least twice as long as estimated and prices are high. I do want to say that Shannon Regan, who waited on me, was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable. She didn’t talk down to me like some of the men have because I’m a woman. Great to see a woman there!

I purchased a new Toyota last week and picked it up this morning. My dealings with the dealership and especially with the sales person, Tin Secrist, were exceptional. Everything was handled very professionally. I was able to test drive two cars, one a hybrid. I had no experience with a hybrid, but Tim explained it very well and I decided to choose that one.Picking up the car this morning went very smoothly. The paperwork was handled efficiently. When the car was ready, Tim spent time explaining all the many features of this model and how they worked. There are a number of new features that I did not have before, but I feel very comfortable with them after his explanations and demonstrations.The entire car-buying and delivery process went very smoothly, and Tim Secrist is a top-rate sales person.

Went in for an inspection and tire rotation on my 21 Tacoma. Was in and out in 45 minutes so I cant complain.
The service was fast and they even checked to see if I had purchased the tire coverage. I had forgotten all about it!
Another bait and switch dealer showing 1 price online and adding a $5k market adjustment when you inquire. Dealers were put in place to help the customer but it’s time they join the rest of the dinosaurs.
My visit to Basil Toyota brought back memories of the old days when I used to bring my car in for NY state inspection. You drive in and say, “I have an appointment to get my car inspected. “ you sit in the waiting room for about 1/2 hour when the service manager comes in to give you the hard sell on all the maintenance your vehicle needs to keep you from braking down in a month if you don’t get it done right away.This visit was very similar. I came in for an oil change. Thinking about a fifty dollar bill should take care of it. Before I could hand my keys over to the service associate, they informed me my brake fluid was way overdue to be flushed. Your brake system is a very important component to operating your car. So, my 40 years of maintenance background kicked in and I processed the importance of preventative maintenance to prolong the life of the vehicle. The $129 brake flush and $50 oil change would give useful longevity to my car. I agreed to have the work done. Off to the waiting room I go. Now they have the technicians text you with other items they find wrong with car. Surprise, my text comes in that my battery has failed the test and $50 will fix the problem. You push a couple buttons to figure if you agree to the estimate and the next thing you get on your phone is a bill for $410. So the original $180 oil change & brake fluid flush turns into $410 to add a battery! WOW! Talk about sticker shock!!Thanks for the memories, but I don’t think I’ll be back!

We picked up our 2022 Camry LE on November 23. We thoroughly love the car. Everyone we interacted with at Basil Toyota was very professional, kind, and helpful. But the interaction we experienced with our salesman,Tyler Supples, was exceptional. From the time we sat down with Tyler to the time we drove off in our beautiful Camry, his care of us was fantastic. He explained everything we needed to know, but even more, was patient in answering all of our questions. The technology in the new cars is foreign to us, so Tyler sat down in our car and explained many of the new features, as well as answering our many questions about them. I just purchased a brand new 2021 Toyota Venza. In fact, I haven’t even left the parking lot yet. I cannot say enough great things about the staff here at Basil Toyota! I worked closely with both Chris J and Tyler S! They were both amazing! I highly recommend asking for them when you come in. Chris was super helpful when it came to making sure I was going home in a car that I loved, and Tyler made sure the process ran smoothly! As we all know going into a car dealer can be a stressful, however this team made it the least stressful ever! Scott Roeser did a great job setting us up with a vehicle and the entire experience was awesome. Hannah from online sales, from behind the green curtain, was also very professional. She was very timely, professional and responsive.Other dealerships, not so much. One dragged on a search for a particular model almost a week, took our deposit though, just very slow on the follow thru. Another basically said the vehicle we wanted would have to be ordered from the factory, apparently did not want to locate from another dealership, and said we should make an appointment. Basil had inventory on the lot and they were spot on.Scott was patient, professional, clear with explanations and has had great follow through over the past month since our purchase offering to answer or address any questions or concerns. My car is always fixed on time. I have a problem with the mechanics leaving oil Smudges in my car. This happens 98% of the time. I keep my car clean and my inside is light material and that needs to be addressed. Basil always keep their word when something is addressed. I was told to come back on Monday so they can steam clean the inside. The mechanics need to put something on the seats when they get into your car. I Thank You for your great maintenance.

First time shopping with basil I have no complaints They are a big time dealership with family values made me feel like I was a long time friend. Salesman Tyler Supplies was very knowledgeable and professional and he really helped me fight to get the price and vehicle I wanted. Tyler went over every aspect of the vehicle and made sure there were no features I didnt understand. Also the dealership was very clean and had great social distancing with hand sanitizer available everywhere. Awful experience trying to lease a truck here. The sales guy was great but his boss who was making the deals was horrible. He wanted to give me 3k less for my vehicle than KBB and when I showed him the post from Toyotas website about a lease deal he told me it was for a lower model. Even though their website advertised the car as being applicable and Toyotas website did as well. He was trying to pull a fast one on me and charge me more for the lease. Real Old School used car salesman vibes. I havent had an experience like that in a long time. Go somewhere else for your Toyota.

Was at the service department with my 2018 Kia Soul, as I had become dissatisfied with the service I received at the Kia dealer. Was able to get an appointment for the next day, and was satisfied with the explanation I was given regarding exactly what work needed to be done on my car and why, and what my options were. That work was done while I waited, and the car feels new again. At no time did I feel like I was being up-sold.
I bought my 2018 Toyota RAV4 in the beginning of January. I went at 3pm and left by 7:30 with my vehicle. This is my first auto loan and they were able to get me approved no issue. The dealership is extremely clean and sanitary which was a huge plus as well! Working with Nicole was easy, she knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen. Most definitely would recommend her to anyone looking to go purchase a new car.

We purchased a Pre-owned Mazda from Basil Toyota this past weekend. It was the least stressful vehicle purchase Ive ever had.We nearly left 10 seconds after walking in, they were very busy, however Mick (Sales Manager) promptly greeted us, informed us that they were short-handed and busier than anticipated. I told him that we had an appointment with Jennifer to test drive a Mazda. Mick said Jennifer was busy but she told him we were coming so he had the vehicle already up front waiting for us. I was impressed.Mick was waiting on us when we returned. We went in, got comfortable, something to drink, and began negotiating. Everyone knows that COVID has created an imbalance between availability and demand thus decreasing the buyers purchasing power. I was sure we were going to pay too much but the negotiating went very smoothly and we arrived at a price I was happy with. Maybe dealing with the Sales Manager directly had something to do with it. Regardless of the reason, my point is, I did not feel ripped off.I saw signs that advertised same day delivery but it was after 3 PM on a Saturday afternoon and they close at 5, I did not expect to bring the vehicle home until monday. I was shocked when Mick told us the vehicle was already in the detail shop so we could take it home today.The rest of the process took every minute of the remaining 2 hours, considering how busy they were and the fact that they sold more than 25 vehicles that day, Im not complaining.As we were driving away in our new Mazda My wife commented that we never did get to meet Jennifer, no matter, she did her job. She got us in the door.When we come back for our free oil change Ill have a chance to check out if the service is as good as the sales department. Ill update if its not, but I doubt it.

Worst car buying experience ever. The dealer failed multiple times to send over all of the correct documents needed to my bank to process the loan. Then a few days after the vehicle purchase was finally finalized they told me I still owe over a thousand dollars because they made a mistake on the taxes calculated. Toyota is great, but this dealership is not. 👎
We purchased our Rav4 Prime long distance (from CO) with the help of Scott Roeser. It was a seam less process. When we arrived to pick it up, Bill Greiner assisted us. Excellent service from both! We love this vehicle. It is so comfortable and feels so safe. Since the inaugural 3 day drive back to CO we havent put gas in it since. It feels so good to plug it in. We have since sent other Coloradoans to Basil. In fact one is on their return trip now. Highly recommend!

By far the best buying experience we have ever had. We ordered a 2021 Sienna that was delayed from another dealership and wouldn’t be available for our family road trip as planned. Basil had the exact model we wanted. Tyler assisted with a virtual tour of the car as we are located out of state. He was amazing at demonstrating the features and really knew what would speak to us as he has a little one, too. There was no haggling and annoying sales process. He gave us the price we were comfortable with, assisted with warranties that were priced far lower than what Toyota charges in our state and was available and helpful for start to end. I am still in disbelief how easy this process was and recommend Basil (especially Tyler) to anyone uncertain about buying from them. Even after we had paid and there was a couple weeks between being picked up, Tyler went back and confirmed feature (took pictures), threw in Amazon boxes we had shipped to the dealership before delivery and coordinated with our shipping company. Hands down amazing service.

Everyone was great, worked with me on the deal. Unfortunately its a bad time to buy a car, limited availability and chips that doesnt allow wiggle room on vehicle price. Yet they did work with me on my trade in which still had payments on it so I wasnt underwaterFinance specialist worked amazingly for me, because I had a very good knowledge on whats necessary and not.Only negative aspect I had was my sales person had very little knowledge of my cars new advanced infotainment console. He did get basics set, then off I went. Amen to a littoral book 📖 on the system which will be great toilet reading, LoL.

Basil Toyota are amazing! My husband and I were not familiar with Toyota. Always a Chevy fan. But this time we wanted something different. We asked alot of questions regarding the Rav 4 awd. And our Sales Man always an answer. Test drive was smooth and comfy. In Finance, going over paper work. He was very thorough with coverage and warranties. In all, Basil was amazing!
Over all I would say sales did a great job. Was able to do much of the work online and via email which helped me a lot! Manager Mick did a great job fixing a few hiccups and getting my interest rate down. Scott my salesman did a good job explaining the features on my car and keep in touch after the sale as well.

Had a very smooth, very informative sales experience with Bill Greiner. What started with a spur of the moment test drive appointment ended with a quick appointment at the dealership two days later to sign. Bill was easy to reach and very responsive, and made sure I knew the ins and outs of my vehicle.
Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership if you value your money. I inquired about a RAV4 Prime and they are asking 4 thousand over MSRP because that is what the “market” has done to the price. Well guess what, when the market stabilizes next year, you will have paid an extra 4 thousand above the value of the car. Enjoy being upside down on your loan. Oh and they are not accepting full cash for the car, only their financing or leasing. Find an honest dealership that is not charging above MSRP.Update 10/19/21: After speaking with Jennifer the business manager, everything was resolved. I was able to purchase the vehicle at MSRP but please do not let dealerships take advantage of you, shop around and do not pay a dollar more than MSRP.

I ended up determining that I did not want to part with my current Toyota. I will not hesitate to recommend him and Basil Toyota to anyone currently in the market for a car!

2022-06-21I stopped in as my lease is ending and wanted to start planning my next vehicle options. I was immediately helped by Tyler Supples. He did a great job answering all questions and concerns I had. I really appreciate the no pressure sales and full disclosure/honesty. I truly felt like he understood my vehicle needs and wanted to help me fulfill them.I went to other dealerships that would tell you anything to get you to buy from them. Tyler made suggestions on the best options for my needs and didnt try to upsell at all. The dealership itself was very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone car shopping and be sure to ask for Tyler!

2022-05-16Recently purchased a 2022 Corolla cross from Basil Toyota. The entire process was quick and painless.I worked with Blake from sales.Blake was very professional and very reliable when it came to getting me the price range I wanted for a beautiful car .I was pleasantly surprised how different this shop is compared to my previous experiences with dealerships. The staff is very friendly and I Highly recommend this location to friends and family.
