They’re great people over there! They’re all very nice and professional. The best thing is they’re not going to charge you for things your vehicle DOESN’T need just to make more money off you like some places here in Perry do (I won’t mention names!) !! They’ll also work on motorcycles, Spyders, 4 wheelers, side-by-sides etc!

My family and I moved to Perry a few months ago. I needed my car fixed and had no clue where to go in the small town. I went on Google and Basils repair came up. I thank God it did. The owners wife was welcoming, not expensive to get my car fixed, and its right down the street from where we live.

No integrity. Had my wife take our truck there for a radiator replacement. After the work they did failed our truck overheated and now the head gasket is blown. When I called to try and get some answers and see if they would make this right they told me, dont even go there and hung up the phone. Dont waste your money. Take your car somewhere honest where they will do the work correctly.

Very disappointed with the service. Came to them since they have the highest reviews in the area, however, in reality mechanic wasnt that good.I had a bad leak in one of the power steering lines but wasnt sure which one and didnt have time to look closely. Mechanic did diagnostics and charged me for that, which is totally fine. Also suggested to order the part, which I did. The fun part started after. The cost of the line ended up being $166, while the same exact part in the same store costs $125. The first time they ordered the wrong part so I had to wait until the next day (car was sitting since I didnt want to damage the pump). The next day I picked it up and since it was a weekend I have decided to replace it myself, however, it was a wrong line. So after spending 15 minutes under the car and another 15 minutes with the chart I finally ordered the right line which costed me $40. The question is what kind of diagnostics this mechanic performed?The car ended up sitting for a week waiting for the right part.

The team at Basils is quick, kind, and extremely accommodating. Prices are very affordable and its a family owned business. Theyve taken in my vehicle very last minute when I had an emergency and fixed the problem promptly, while making sure to call and inform me of price and status. Definitely recommend.
