We travel from Rochester to the Batavia office because we have been very happy with every doctor we have seen.
Perry Pet is always willing to take the time to talk through my concerns on the phone. During quarantine, the office did a nice job including pet owners in the care of their pets in a safe and friendly manner. The vets who our pets have seen in person have been very kind and informative. Highly recommend.
My Karma girl was taken good care of and I was truly grateful that she felt comfortable there even after surgery! She is doing very well after coming home, thank you!
Excellent staff from the front desk, to the techs, to the Veterinarian. Quick, clean, efficient service. Everyone welcomed me and my pets to the office for our regular checkups. When we needed a “sick” visit, they accommodated us the same morning. Overall, I have great confidence that my kittens are in excellent care at Perry Vet and this will be our Vet for the next 15-20 years.
We found a great professional who takes great care of one of our familly member, because he is not only our pet. And Dr. Peter Hecht understands that so well. He performed a great surgery and our Little guy was as wonderful, healthy and didnt require to take any additional medications. The stitches seemed like they were done by an Aesthetic Surgeon. We are greatly thankful
I made a mistake on what office I was to bring my bunnies to, and they did everything they could to squeeze me in even though I was very late to the correct office. They were very patient and kind. The dr who checks my bunnies handles them very gently and knowledgeably. I am very happy with this office. They also cost less than half of what other vets charge for neutering.
This veterinary practice is fantastic. We see Dr. Westfall and are extremely happy. She is so patient and kind to our 2 kitty girls. If a same day appointment is needed, you can get one. The secretaries and vet techs are wonderful. I am so happy that we found this vet office! They go above and beyond for their clients!
I needed to bring my dog here as an emergency visit during the week and I was very pleased with the whole experience. The office is huge and clean, all the staff were very pleasant and Dr. Westfall was very good at explaining my options and her recommendations. Not only did they take good care of my dog, she had to stay overnight and the total bill was extremely reasonable. I would certainly recommend to others!
I took my very sick cat to a different Vet (located in Cheektowaga) and she totally misdiagnosed him. Even though Perry Vet is farther from me (Batavia) my sister gave me rave reviews about them so I decided to take my cat there for a second opinion. They are AWESOME! Very professional, sure enough he was sick (other vet said he was fine - ear infections and hyperthyroidism). We saw Dr Nikki who is very professional, listens to you, down to earth and really good with my cat. Even though it takes me about 35/40 minutes to get there Im going to continue b/c I love the knowledge, atmosphere, and compassion they showed my puddem!
Love my dogs vet. They have always been there when Ive had emergencies and dumb questions. The new office is so nice and clean. They try to be as in schedule as possible. Never had to wait long to be seen. The staff is so friendly. My dog never gas anxiety when we go and he loves the attention they give.
I have been with this facility for many years and have always been completely satisfied with their care of our many pets. Any of the doctors that my husband and I have met have been very compassionate. At our pets end of life, every one of them have been extremely caring, for the pet and for us. We have had to make emergency phone calls as early as 2 am to have one of our precious cats put to sleep and they gave us time with our pet, not rushing us a bit, before or after he had expired. They truly felt our sorrow. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.
We trust Batavias animal hospital 100% with the care of our furry family members. They take the time with you and your pet, to make sure you feel comfortable in the care of your pet. Their prices are also reasonable.
Had to put our dog down today, all the staff were very heart warming in what we were going thru. It was a quick process and we are grateful for that. We had to find a new vet and our dog was having some problems. Perry Vet got Penny in within two days. Very friendly workers greeted us. Place is clean and spacious.Penny was treated with care and concern. Going back for a follow-up but she is doing so much better, they got the problem first time.
I asked never to book me with one particular.doctor because my family dog died because I was told he should have never been there overnight. But they did and 180 dollars later my dog is still sick. I have.been a client there for ten years and always paid up my bills but when my dog hurt his leg they would not see him unless I paid that day. Now every time I watch his leg that did not heal properly I feel really bad and have had to give him pain pills now for many years.
The staff is welcoming and the doctors are knowledgeable and caring. They are a bit more on the expensive side than other veterinarians, but it is a clean facility with good service. My one complaint is that they are not willing to fax prescriptions to Web pharmacies because they want you to buy the meds there. However, there prices are a bit higher. Regardless, I would still recommend this place because of the friendly and caring staff.
My 3 month old kitten angle was suddenly very sick. The Dr., and staff were wonderful to us. They are very proffesional, caring to our needs. They also Let me know that I could get a hold if someone on that Sunday. I am very glad to say Angel is doing better.
My dog needed to have his foot looked at because he broke it. My dog wasnt a patient of this Vet Clinic and they got me in the very same day. They are very understanding , and very caring. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Their prices arent ridiculous either.
Took our new puppy there and was very pleased. We were seen quickly. They answered all my questions and provided valuable information as to the care of the new puppy.
I was in need of a veterinarian and wasn’t sure where to go. I called Batavia Animal Hospital and was able to get in fast. The receptionist was very polite and helped me out with everything I needed. She was courteous and professional and made me feel very welcome. My dog was treated with care and I will definitely go back again.
My dog Anna had a urinary blockage and the doctor stayed there to make sure that she was able to pass the stone so she would be comfortable for the night. The surgery the next day went smoothly and she is recovering very well. They went out of the way to make sure she was ok and I appreciate that.
A brand new rescue and the doctor did not introduce himself to the dog but just proceeded to grab her head to try look at her ears. Needless to say she was scared. Shes the sweetest dog, very gentle wonderful with children but it took her a little while to learn how to have a human care for her . the doctor is obviously in it for the money and not because he understands animals. I have found a new vet who actually introduced himself the dog.
I live in the northtowns where I feel like the majority of the vet offices charge an arm and a leg. After getting a quote for $1300 for my dogs aural hematoma, I was in search of a new vet. My aunt had brought her dog to the Perry location and said really good things, Batavia was closer for me so I ended up here. The doctor was really knowledgeable and everyone was realistic with treatment goals and costs. My dog spent two nights there, and the cost for the surgery and everything was $500. Having two dogs that are prone to medical issues, I appreciate when the vet is understandable when it comes to money. I highly recommend this vet office!! I have already shared their information to two coworkers!
We took our pet dog Harliegh to Perry Animal Hospital for her shots and routine check-up. I was very impressed on how well they examined her and took the time to answer all our questions. I feel that the only bad side is how expensive vets are but that goes for all vets not just Perry. Dr. Stoddard and Staff were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
The staff are always so nice and willing to help. The doctors are excellent and equally friendly. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. We especially like that they run on schedule. We have never waited more than 10 minutes for our appointment.

Cameron really enjoys visiting the clinic; that means it mist be good!About 5 years ago, we had an emergency with an older dog (a Kuvasz) the clinic we had used for over 10 years said they could see her in 2 days. Till then, Perry Pet was only a number in the phone book; they said bring her in. Shila left an healthy dog and we had found a dedicated vet.
All staff members were kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. She recieved treatment and was much better in 24 hours !
I bring my 2 dogs and cat here to see Dr. Higgins. Always a good experience and prices have always seemed fair. Their online pharmacy is very convenient and has competitive pricing (they even send coupons through email). I am always recommending this location to friends and family.

I thoroughly trust the Doctors and employees at Batavias Perry Pet. The exams and treatments are thorough and they treat my animals very well. I am use to Dr. Westfall and Dr. Higgins who give direct explanations of needed treatment. I trust the care of my two felines to this establishment which I have been a customer of for many years.

Think these people love to talk about money more then your animal. and their prices since they like to talk about them are way to high for a doctor you had a bed side manor of a coroner . Took my cat somewhere else and surgery was never mentioned like it was ever other sentence from batavia animal hospital . i would have put my pet down before all that . seen new doctor different place an antibiotic prescribed cured my kitty.
You do have to wait longer than I’d like to find an open appointment.Dr Shelley was excellent with our older dog and great at explaining things simply and logically.
Everyone was so kind and did everything they could to help my dog. I will tell anyone to bring their pets to this animal hospital. I cant thank them enough for everything they did. My dog is almost back to his old self, playful and happy. Thanks again!
The vet was very understanding. We had to shave an area on our little buddy, but thankfully I was persistent about the area he was having an issue with. He was bit or stung and the area was much larger then expected. Hes better now with his meds

When we had a problem with our pup I called (even tho we were not customers)they gave me an appointment the same day were we had to wait 3 days at regular vets. We were very happy with every one we talked to

I have been going to the Batavia Animal Hospital since the year, 2000. I have both Golden Retrievers and Havanese....and the staff and the vets take excellent care of my babies.Dr Westfall is an awesome vet and goes above and beyond in taking care of my babies.
Have had a great experience with my 3 dogs and they make suggestions and not force you into anything you don’t believe is necessary. Very responsible and reasonable cost.

Its with a broken heart I must change my review. My pet died merely hours after returning home from here. He had a terrible reaction to something they gave him as they discharged him and he died very painfully.
Brand new modern facility. Staff is awesome the doctors are very knowledgeable. Below average prices for services but still same quality. We switched from our old vet to here.

2022-01-30Best place to take your fur friend. My last visit was by far one if the best. My friend was having TERRIBLE skin problems and causing it to bleed and had bee bee size welts. This was the first time $ was an issue. There main concern was to get her relaxed and relief from the itching. The bill was extremely fare and was never an issue. My dog probably couldnt thank them enough along w/me.Thank you Perry Pet in Batavia.

2022-05-22Our dog is getting up there in age. The people at Perrys do a good job taking care of her needs. At this time in her life our dog is as healthy as can be for her years. They recommend treatments that are sensible but not too costly.

2018-10-13A highly professional staff that is incredible. They understood that we simply wanted the best for our new puppy and never tried to oversell us on anything.The office is clean, well lit and no disturbing smells. Rarely can you hear any dogs barking. Additionally, a completely computerized system allows them to track everything. You can even install an app on your phone to get reminders and so much more!

2021-12-19Irecently moved to Batavia and needed emergency care for our puppy. Our regular vets, while a wonderful competent crew, are way too busy and couldnt fit her in. In desperation I Called Perry Vet and got right in, where we didnt have to wait an hour out in the car. Very calm atmosphere, Christmas decorations! Kept apologizing for the wait,lol. Goofy dog needed surgery which went perfectly. We have a new vet now.

2018-11-08Front desk staff is always very friendly! The only downfall is you see a different veterinarian every time and some of them seem fairly rushed and like they speed through apts (I understand they are busy, but it is important to feel like more than just a number). I wish you would see the same one every time in order to develop a relationship with them and have them connect with your pet more. Besides that prices are good, pets receive good care, and the practice has great hours.

2021-06-08The facility is very clean. The staff is professional and friendly. I found the prices are equivalent to other locations in the area. They will work with you on coming up with a pay plan if need to. I have three dogs and a cat so keeping my costs down is important to me, i take my pets to the clinics for their rabies and take the certificate to them to update the records. They dont judge.

2022-04-19The technicians took my dog back to the treatment room where she cried and yelped. She is an anxious dog. I have always held her for blood draws, exams and vaccines in the past. This time, it was not even discussed. The tech asked my questions and then didnt acknowledge me when I said I usually hold for her appointments and she stays in the room with me. My dog had a much more traumatizing experience than it already was to begin with. She wont even go near my car now, and she loved car rides before.
