Best driving school ever!!! Barbara taught me how to drive in Staten Island (she knows the island very well) and she’s so amazing, very friendly and great interpersonal skills. I took 6 lessons and passed on my FIRST TRY !! I struggled with making turns and she helped me build confidence in my turns and improve greatly.
Its my first driving experience with Barbara. She is so friendly cooperative nice and decent lady💖. She treats her students with patience and care.I will highly recommend this school for new driving student to come and enjoy the learning with Excellent Teachers ❤Soon i will give my road test.
I had a very pleasant experience with Bath Beach driving school!!!! I had absolutely no driving experience before taking my lessons and I passed my road test! The instructors are awesome!!! I had Lenny, Frank, and Robert. They really take you step by step through everything. Any mistake you make they will correct you and give you the confidence to do it right the next time. Absolutely amazing experience. Took 7 classes with Lenny and had my road test at Lenevar Staten Island and passed my second try. Definitely could’ve got it the first round but I let my nerves get the best of me. I thought it would be awkward to learn to drive from someone that you don’t personally know but Lenny made me feel so comfortable and extremely confident. I feel like I was able to make a friend in a way too. Great people at this driving schoolHIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I passed my road test today on my first try! Being in NYC, you sort of get used to not having a car and you give yourself excuses on why you dont need one....Id taken driving lessons before at another location, but Bath Beach driving school really wants their students to succeed at driving. My main motivation was just having more options available (for my career as well as being there for my family). I took the 10 lesson package (you get 1 extra lesson as well). My instructors were Barbara, Lenny and Anthony. Barbara is really friendly. Lenny is serious and will point out to you your mistakes. Anthony is really chill and chatty and will get you to relax. Its like driving with a really good friend. This is just the beginning for me. Having accomplished this goal, makes me feel really confident that Ill be able to accomplish other goals that I set for myself in life, so a huge THANK YOU! to everyone at Bath Beach Driving School!
This school is is outstanding! They are highly professional and invested in providing great customer service. I have tried other schools and have never met with this quality of service.I mostly took lessons with Barbara, the owner, and have the outmost respect for her. But her team is also great, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They pick you up and drop you off at your chosen location, so wherever you reside, you can still use their services. And I appreciate the post-covid measures they implemented to keep both, customers and staff safe. Two big thumbs up to this stellar school!!
My brother passed on his very first try with lessons from Barbara. My brother had to learn everything in roughly less than 2 weeks because of his circumstances and Barbara made it happen and was willing to work with us and try her best. For starters, she was very patient in accommodating lessons for us and then taught my brother everything so well that he passed on his first try. Thank you, Barbara! My brother also dealt with Anthony on the last day and had great things to say about him as well. The office staff over the phone is very pleasant too as opposed to some other schools that seem to have poor customer service. Honestly, I would recommend this school to everyone. They were awesome.
Great place with instructors that will point out everything there is to know about the road once you start driving and will make you feel very comfortable and confident. I highly recommend this place especially you live in the bensonhurst area. Megan was my primary instructor and she was great! She would observe any errors I made and corrected them until I was able to perform maneuvers correctly on my own. 5 stars without a doubt.
The instructors here are extremely respectful, patient, and experienced. It doesnt matter if youve never driven before, theyll teach you everything you need to know for the road test and for driving after you get your license. Highly recommend this driving school for high quality driving lessons.

Based on reading the reviews you guys are great 👍 i have visited this place a couple of times! I got the drivers hand book for $8 from here! Very nice Staff!!! I passed my written test with a 17/20 thank you to bath beach driving school for making it possible!!! I am coming to take the 5 hour pre-licensing class in 1 too 2 weeks if there is one available! Then the big time comes!! I will practice with my dad or friend on the road to prepare my self for the road test!!! In god’s willing I will pass my road test first try knowing bath beach driving school staff members will be my instructors!!! Looking forward to working with you!!!
It was an amazing experience! I had many instructors but out of them all, Marcus was the best. He really got me comfortable on the road and I think Im a better driver because of his constant emphasis on improving. I passed my road test on my first try and Im beyond thankful!
If you want to learn how to drive with the upmost confidence, I definitely recommend Robert as your instructor. Hes extremely patient, has a great sense of humor, and is the most experienced and dedicated to his work. Hes worked with me, my brother and a numerous amount of my friends and we all passed the test with flying colors!
Great staff and teachers. I took my five hours here and the class went by quickly with Robert as the teacher. He was funny and made it enjoyable to sit there for five hours. After that I took driving lessons with him and out of all Robert is the best. He is honest and tells you how it is. He thought me a lot and I passed the test. He would see key mistakes I was making and point them out. I am thankful for going there and having them represent me. Would recommend for any first timers. 😊

Just passed my driving test today with 10 points only. Has the best instructor for weeks robert. I recommend getting your drivers ed course here seriously. Made me feel so comfortable driving and i wasnt nervous at all for the driving test. Picked up some really good habits for driving safe. Thank you so much for lessons.
This is one of the best driving schools ever!!! I literally had a bad time looking for a good driving school or staff!! Thats the reason i failed my test 3 times. I was so pissed off. Then I got to know about this school. Its ratings was pretty good so I decided to give it a chance. They lived more to my expectations. Staff is really nice generous and understanding. I told them that I need an emergency date within 15 days if possible. The lady there said she wont promise but shell try her best. To my shock she called me after 6 days with a date on the exact location I actually wanted to be in Coney Island. I was so excited!! And the best part is I passed the test this time too ❤❤❤ I suggest just go there if you are in need. These guys are cheaper than other schools plus more professional.!! 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I cannot form enough kind words about Bath Beach Driving School, but especially towards Mr. Robert. Let me begin by saying that everyone in that place has a heart of gold and want nothing but the best for you! They teach you the RIGHT way, not only for the test but how you should be driving in general. Whenever I had a a question or last minute change, they were always so kind and understanding. I started with 0 experience in driving. I had no hope in myself, but Mr. Robert did. He had patience of a saint!! Im telling you! He showed me the ropes & explained the rules of the road to me. He never made me feel silly over my mistakes but everything is a lesson learned and how I could do better. I remember telling him on my third lesson I dont think driving is for me as I am sobbing in the car, and he looked at me and said Would you tell your daughter that? He made me believe in myself even with just knowing me for 1 hour of our lesson. When I passed my road test, it was a bittersweet feeling, exciting that I finally got my license, but saddening that those 1 hour classes leading up to my road test with Mr. Robert had come to an end, but thats okay! Ill be scheduling my highway lessons with you soon sir!! Thank you for teaching me Mr. Robert! If you go with Bath Beach Driving School, you wont go wrong! I promise!
This establishment looks professional on the outside. First snafu was with scheduled appointment. Driver didn’t show up, because someone mysteriously erased the name. No explanation from bosses( like I needed). Rescheduled appointment was established and later rescheduled again for not suitable time. Third situation didn’t happen because we took our money back. That was easy. The hard part was facing disappointment, when you start to like something, you expect great experience but life gives you knock on the head and kick in the balls... So, do not expect too much from them and be very realistic- they do business the way it suits them , not you The Customer😞😞😞
It was a great pleasure studying in this school. All the instructors and personnel were extremely kind and always acted in a professional manner. Thanks to God and to them, I got my license with no trouble, thank you very much!
If you want to learn to drive with confident, then I would say go with Lenny. He is so patient and explains what is needed to pass your road test and drive on the road. He will let your know right away what you need to look out for [per driver] and if you will be ready to pass without misleading you. He give details on steering and corrects you without being judgmental or upset, all he wants to do is to make sure you will be a safe driver. He makes me feel very comfortable behind the wheel and always a wonderful driving experience each time.
I highly recommend Bath ave driving school. Everyone there is so kind. I had Megan and Robert as my driving instructors and they were amazing. They are friendly, respectful, they teach you step by step and help you with what youre struggling on. And of course I passed, all thanks to them.P.s. (Robert), my husband was crazy proud😊Thank you!
This is a wonderful, welcoming establishment. I would definitely recommend all first time drivers or if you are someone that needs to get behind a wheel due to being licensed but inexperienced this is the place for you.. They even have highway lessons (for licensed drivers only). My instructors name was Anthony and he was just a pleasure to work with & of course I passed ! He eases your mental stress telling you jokes and just taking to you like a regular passenger would .

I took 11 hours of driving course there and all instructions were super friendly. I drove first time when I attended to course, they have teach me very well and you can handle almost any situation while driving by yourself alone. Simple they will teach you how to drive professionally and teach you how serious is every little detail mistake.Thanks!!!

Every person is so nice and everyone makes your day positive.I want to share my experience.When I first went into this school my english was not perfect , so I was afraid of 5hour class-how it goes and etc. My instructor Robert was and is the greatest person, no matter how good you are in English he will explain everything so that there is no chance not to understand anything! I passed my exam because of him! He was always saying this to me - Its not my job, I am here to make your life better/to change your life! Exactly thats how it is, I am more confident now! He teaches you from the heart!!! His life experience makes you part of his journey, I am so proud to have had a chance to meet him! Robert - is the person that everyone needs once in their life. Robert is simply the best! I never thought I could learn to drive. Aside from his technical knowledge and teaching ability, Roberts caring and compassion inspired confidence. I was also impressed at the smooth administration of the schools office.

Amazing place to do drivers ed Lenny was such an amazing guy to learn from he has so much patience with everyone. And I like how they handled my situation with my road test they scheduled me to the next closest date that a road test was going to be available and I passed. I highly recommend this place

2021-05-20This is a great driving school. The instructors are very professional and patient. They are truly dedicated to helping people learn to drive confidently and safely. I had lessons with Barbara, Lenny, Steve, and Anthony. They were all very supportive and helped me feel comfortable especially when I drove for the first time on the road with them. They gave excellent pointers and feedback and answered all my questions with detail. Barbara was especially attentive and supportive on my last lesson before the road test and made me feel much less nervous about it. I passed my road test from my first try thanks to the support of all the wonderful instructors. I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone needing lessons, whether they are already experienced or a complete beginner like I was.

2021-10-06Today I passed my road test. The owner of this school Barbara has outstandable teaching skills about driving. She is a little bit strict but believe this works for our benefits. There is no way not to pass the test after a few lessons with her!! Thanks a lot to the instructor Mirsad too. He also loves his job and did his best and helped me to learn how to drive effectively. Receptionists are also nice, especially Destiny is patient and polite on phone. Overall I had a very good experience in Bath Beach Driving school, very professional and caring staff.

2021-07-26I passed my road test on Wednesday! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Lennie! He was my instructor for the majority of my lessons. I booked and intentionally waited an entire month and a half to take my lessons consecutively with him because he wasnt available at the time since he gets booked super fast! He is super kind, very PATIENT, and upbeat. He is respectful and whenever I made a mistake, he didnt make me feel bad about it because he knew that I was still learning. He literally goes over everything that is on the road test and lets you know what you need to work on. For the lessons, not only did he prepare me for the road test but he also wanted me to get more comfortable just driving on a regular basis. He gives tips not only for the road test but also for anything that we should be aware of when we start driving. He really wants you to pass! He instills confidence in you. I couldnt have asked for a better driving instructor. For my last lesson before the road test, I had Barbara who was also a great instructor. For my final lesson right before my road test I practiced in a different car than the one I took my previous lessons with but through Barbaras guidance I was still able to pass! She helped me with parallel parking which I was still a bit rusty on and told me how I should be able to fix it. The front desk were also a great help! They will answer any and all of your questions and they really work with you! I really like the fact that they call you a day before your lesson to remind you the date and time of your scheduled lesson. All in all, this was a very professional driving school and I wouldnt recommend any other place to go to!

2021-10-09Thank you Bath Beach Driving School!!!!!! It took me a long time to choose a school bc I am a very nervous person and it was really important to find instructors who would be patient with me. They did have a wait for lessons bc of the covid back-up but I decided to wait based on their good yelp reviews. They are SO worth the wait!!!!!!!!! Everything from signing up for the lessons to passing the road test on my first try was SMOOTH and easy! The office staff is amazing! Kind and easy to work with. The instructors were beyond amazing! All of my lesson were with Barbra and in just 5 lessons- I gained that confidence I never ever had behind the wheel. The day of my test I had a lesson with Lenny and if it wasn’t for that lesson- I might not have passed. I can’t recommend this school enough! If you have to wait for lessons- wait! So worth it!!!Also have to add- I was able to get my 5-hour course with them and they took care of scheduling my road test. 2021-06-23I am thrilled to say I passed my driving test in Coney Island on my first try!A big THANK YOU! to Bath Beach Driving School and special shout out to Barbara, Lenny and Steve!!! I highly recommend Bath Beach driving school as the price is great compared to other schools which may charge higher. Staff is extremely professional and will call you before every class to remind you of your lessons. I forked out $570 and everything is taken care of for you (includes 10 one hour driving classes package, road test fee, scheduling the road test, the car for road test and 1 highway class offered to me at a discounted price but Im not sure if its for limited time only). The school will arrange the driving test date for you! The 5 hour class is not included and cost around $50++ which I took part in on Zoom due to the pandemic. Instructor comes to pick you up at home and drop you off at home after class.My driving history prior: Took few driving classes in Ohio with school or friends, then took driving test there where I failed the parking. Was lazy and left driving alone for many years.I had Barbara for my first class and she taught me the basics of driving and how to maneuver the steering wheel. She was extremely patient with me and made me feel at ease behind the wheel.I also had Lenny for couple of lessons and he is a great instructor. He will impart to you solid driving skills and will be honest with you on areas you need to improve on. I would say I can be a pretty fast acting, reckless driver at times but Lenny was able to remind me constantly that I need to slow it down and work on my observational skills. Through constant drilling, reminding and practicing, Ill say by the 10th lesson, most of my bad habits were gone. On the 10th lesson before the road test, I practiced parallel parking with Lenny and was still making mistakes but thankfully, during the road test I was able to parallel park well and no points were deducted for the parking. I was so happy!Lastly, STEVE!!!!!! He is the instructor that made me believe in myself as a driver!!! Constantly encouraging, motivating and reassuring! During my first lesson with him, he was in the driver seat and gave me a demonstration of how to use correct driving techniques so I have a visual for about 10 mins. He was so calm and each move was done so smoothly. He teaches you the text book style, showing you the way to pass the exam! Afterwards, he lets me have the wheel. He also chats with you and lighten up the atmosphere you dont even feel its a class at all. You feel that you are driving a friend yet learning incredibly much from him. He taught me calmness, techniques and to always believe in myself as a driver. Aside from that, he is a very inspirational and interesting person with a great life story. I highly recommend Steve, you are an AMAZING driving instructor with a gift of teaching. You are a treasure to the driving school! THANK YOU!Invest your money in this school, it is worth every penny and every staff in here are amazing and such a blessing. I highly recommend Bath Beach Driving School and I owe my passing on first try to you!

2019-09-12Ive had the best experience with Bath Beach Driving School. The team is so attentive, organized and kind. All the instructors are A+ but Ive had majority of my lessons with Lenny , he also took me to my road test which I passed on my very first try of course. I cannot say enough good things about him, so I will just say hes the ideal driving instructor anyone could hope for, he made the entire experience so easy with his detailed explanation and patience.I highly recommend this School.

2021-05-04I was sitting on the idea of getting a drivers license for years. One day I decided to follow through and found this hidden gem of a place. The good reviews did not disappoint. Staff is professional and they communicate well. The instructors are patient, honest, and knowledgeable. I personally like that they accommodated with my schedule. They also offered pick up & drop offs which was very convenient. I passed my road test with this school after a few classes. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

2021-03-04I just wanna say thank you for teaching me the skills that I needed to pass the road test. My journey started last February and due to covid, bad luck and bad weather, My Road test was earlier today at 10 a.m. and I passed on my first attempt. I want to personally thank Timothy, Lenny and Steve for preparing me and having patience with me in our lessons. Thanks for teaching me this important life skill.
