Very professional, knowledgeable and honest about their services. I went in for a simple bumper fix and they fixed it no issue and even gave me a run down on how much a full bumper fix would cost(I ended up getting it glued) they even took the tar off my front tire at no extra Charge. Highly recommend them for auto services
Ami was great! The shop took care of my car quickly and it looks as good as new. The service here was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone who unfortunately needs to deal with insurance claims or just needs to fix up their car. He was very experienced with both.
Came in for an estimate, waited 30 minutes, no one came to help me after I was told to wait in my car and someone would come.
I do want to say they are so nice and treat you like family. I was rear ended 2 years ago....the other drivers insurance company was State Farm so it was convenient to go to Bayside Auto Body. It was quick and easy. They got the work done quickly and I was impressed. But after a couple days the tail lights went out...I contacted them and they asked me to come in and they fixed it after working on it for an hour almost. Then the next month the gas tank cover wasn’t opening correctly cause the rear panel wasn’t matching up right with the gas tank door. I was upset but dealt with it.Now this past year, the paint is PEELING...there is rust where you open the back hatch...and the paint is also peeling on the back hatch. Although they are great, kind people I expected this body and paint job to last the life of the car...I can over look little things only I can see but when you can see it plain as day it’s disappointing. 5 stars on workers and customer service but paint not so much.

Justin personally followed up with me and kept me informed all the way. he even went in as far to fix work that had looked tacky from previous accident. a total of 5k worth of damage done in less than a week and a half. Ive been a customer of Bayside Auto Repair since September of 2018. They are honest, hardworking and professional. They are the only mechanic I will be using moving forward. Ami is an absolute professional. Rafi is a pleasure to deal with, he is extremely knowledgeable. There secretary Christina is also amazing. I would recommend anyone to go to Bayside Auto for any repair work needed. Honesty and integrity are there greatest strengths. I first went to another mechanic to get a price quote. They tried to rip me off. Bayside Auto was not only honest in there pricing but a pleasure to deal with.
They always give great service. Was in need of four new tires. Ami researched several options for me and made an awesome recommendation. Tires have been great. They always look over the whole car not just what you tell them. They really can diagnose a problem and nip future problems before they happen!
This is the first auto shop I have met people who care and genuinely like what they do. Also really big for me; not trying to rob you. I went in for an inspection and he did just that. A lot of the times I have to get a second opinion because i have been screwed in the past. These people are great and fast done in about an hour! Reccomend them to everyone.

Stay Away/Worst Mechanic/Be aware- The older Caucasian man with the hat and glasses is a rip off. I went in for inspection with no engine light (keeping in mind my car always passes) he tried to hit me over the head and say my car needs control arm and 2 tires ( keeping in mind my tires almost brand new with no damage) he took less than five minutes to inspect my car.He refused to do the inspection for me unless I give them work on my car. Do not go to them for anything they will make u fix unnecessary stuff that don’t need fixing.
My car came with a promotion where they would do services at the dealership for free.. and yet I still come to Bayside Auto Repair. They do a great job and I trust them completely. As a female, it can be tricky finding a decent car repair service that wont take advantage of you. However, they always give me the best service for fair pricing! I have been a customer here for a little less then two years. It is such a relief to have a mechanic that you can really trust. I went here to have a dent someone put into my rear passenger door fixed. It was a tough spot/dent and my car also has a very unique (difficult) tri-color paint but they were able to match it perfectly and make it look like new. The gentlemen who work there are very kind and hospitable. They also painted and buffed some old scratches the previous owner had left! I left very happy for the work done and the price. Professional work and professional people, I personally will go back for all my auto needs and will extol them to all my friends and family. A++
What a great find in Bayside with many neighbors and friends encouraging me to check out Bayside Auto Repair. I was not disappointed. After meeting and talking with the owner Ralph and his son Ami the manager, I came away very impressed with how knowledgeable they both are with American cars and European imports. I always took both of my vehicles to a mechanic in Howard Beach whom I trust but is far away. Bayside Auto Repair is a local place where I wont have to drive 15 miles to get my vehicles serviced. Ralph and Ami made me feel very comfortable and I know I can trust them because of their reputation in Bayside. They are an asset to the neighborhood. I found this place thru Google. Based on the reviews I gave them a shot.I bought my car from Carvana in which their warranty center was p!ying for the repairs. I dealt with Ami who was a straight up guy and he was able to supply me with everything the company requested to initiate the repair process. My repair was all cosmetic work. I brought my car in on a Thursday afternoon and it was done the following Tuesday. Keep in mind, they work half days Saturday and closed Sunday. Upon receiving the car back, it looked MINT! Hopefully I wont need any work in the near future, but if I do, believe my work will be going to them or anyone else who needs a good shop.
Very nice people and great service at reasonable prices. Usually they are very busy but I somehow lucked out and managed to arrive on the day they werent. Got my inspection and oil change done really quickly.
Been going here since I moved to bayside. Tire rotations done in no time. Body work is top notch. In fact I’m pretty sure they have a time machine, because every time I get something fixed it looks like it never happened!
Fair and trustworthy.Came here because of the great reviews on yelp and google and was not disappointed.I needed to have a pre-purchase inspection of a car I was planning to buy from a nearby dealer.They were very thorough. Put the car on the lift. Immediately identified several problems with the car that would have never been identified by a mobile pre-inspection service. Ami was very helpful and explained everything throughout the process including providing me with estimates of all the necessary repairs and explaining the situation to the car dealership salesman who accompanied me (which made the latter much more open to negotiation).
I took my car for bodywork and the quality of the work that was done was flawless. They repaired and matched up the car paint perfectly. The manager and the mechanics are very friendly and accommodating. Best auto repair and body shop in Bayside! I recommend.

This is the only shop in Queens I trust with my Firebird. Honest, reliable, and down to earth mechanics that love what they do. I have had nothing but a great experiences every time I come in. I will continue to go here for all of my car needs. They do great work and give honest pricing. Its hard to find honest and reliable mechanics in NYC but this shop never lets me down. First time here and driven by great reviews on google. As most reviews had mentioned, Good manners and politeness office service guy. Fast oil change service. They deserve earning another 5 star reviews from me.
Brought my corvette to get an alignment and they couldn’t do it, i payed 104$, as soon as I leave the “shop” the cars worse then when I brought it in pulling to the right. I Ask to have the problem fixed and adjusted and they said come back tomorrow because we’re closing so I guess they expect that we have all the time in the world. Came back the next day at 9am they put the car on the lift I waited for about another hour and the car was still doing the same thing they didn’t even put air into the tires before doing the “alignment” finally after 2 days and multiple hours of waiting I left with my alignment worse then when I came in. There excuse for not being able to do the alignment was “maybe we don’t know how to do the special high end cars” and “there’s probably something aftermarket” which there wasn’t at all the vehicle was 110% stock. Long story short they gave me my money back but a huge waste of time the techs are rude.
Recently changed my mechanic to bayside auto, and with my first encounter they managed to gain my trust and comfortability with them working on my car. As a family run shop they sure made a lasting impression on me and made me feel like family, honest and hard working crew. Highly recommended!!

Was rear-ended and pushed into a car in front of me sustaining over $5000 in damage. Brought the car to Bayside Auto repair and got back a brand new car. Work was superlative. People are especially easy to work with, completely professional, and only sorry did nit know about them with previous cars.
Ami and Amil are the man! I took my car to the shop to fix the bumper holes and some rock chips and nicks. It came back like brand new car! Their work is amazing! Highly recommend!!
My car was leaking fluid in my driveway and it was staining the cement. I am not very handy with cars and had no idea what was causing the problem or how to find the solution myself. I went to Bayside Auto Repair & Body Works because the owners and crew always do right by me and my family. I know to ask for Ami because he is friendly, reliable, and great at explaining everything. Wow! Cant say enough great things about this Bayside business. After moving to Bayside, I knew that I was going to need a new place to get repairs/inspections/maintenance done to my car. Recently, I was going away for the weekend and dropped my car off on a Friday night after business hours. I had spoke to Ami and we had arranged for me to pick up the car on Saturday. Unfortunately, I got stuck working on a Saturday and I missed my call from Ami to pick up the vehicle. They were going to be closed until Monday @ 8. I knew that I was going to need my car for work on Monday at 6:30am and I reached out to Bayside Auto Repair via their email address. Ami came to the shop on a Sunday when they were closed to ensure that I had my vehicle for Mondays commute. Its little things like this that give this business the personal touch that will keep me coming back. I highly recommend recommend Bayside Auto Repair!!
Bayside auto repairs service is unbelievable. I brought my car in for what I thought was a major repair. Ultimately it was something small. Any other mechanic would have taken advantage of me. I will be going to Bayside Auto to deal with Ami or Rafi exclusively moving forward. Could not be happier with the service and the results!
Ive been to Bayside Auto Repair a few times for some minor work. I never had a problem until I had brought my car in a few weeks ago. My car wouldnt start, I had it picked up and was told that my car needed a new alternator and 2 fan belts.I agreed to get the work done as we went over the pricing along with getting an oil change (about $1080 for a BMW X3). The owner Rafael had called me hours later saying that I now also needed a battery and that my car will die soon if I dont. This caught me off guard as we had agreed to a set price and he had mentioned what work needed to be done. Why call me once the alternator is installed to tell me I now need a battery? Thats just a sloppy job period. Did no one check for the battery in the beginning?I postponed on the battery. I became weary of the situation and the transaction. A few days later, the car doesnt start again. I call again and have someone from the shop come by and give the car a boost (mind you the first time they got a tow truck and never tried to boost it which would have saved me $$).This is where I completely lose trust in the way this business is run. I go to the mechanic with my car and 1 of the mechanics comes up to me and says what happened? I said it didnt start again. That mechanic tells me just so you know, it was never the alternator, just the battery. I was confused and didnt understand his intent (looking out for me? upset at the owners?). Regardless, thats bad business. He came up to me again and said thats what Ami and his father do for some extra money and to be careful. Im just like really? The mechanic was like dont say anything.At the time, I didnt know what to do. I played it calm and cool, paid for the battery and then directly contacted the son as I have his number as I was gonna work on the owners website. He called me right away and I let him know of the situation. From there, he seemed eager to come to a resolution as he was frustrated and upset. I told him how I dont trust him or his team. I felt unconformable, lied to and that I got ripped off. It was a sloppy job. I felt that as a customer, to have an employee come to you and tell you that is crazy. Ami mentioned how sometimes they dont get along and are jealous. Every job has its own internal stuff but now youve lost a customer, handled the situation horrible, never followed up on your promise and straight up ripped me off. I was told I would be taken care of but that never happened. Ive been ignored multiple times trying to contact Ami after being told I would be given back $500 for the service (I thought that was a fair compromise). I regret going here and will not be coming back. STAY AWAY.

In March 2018, I brought my 2010 Toyota Yaris into the shop to get my battery replaced which, to their credit, was done very quickly. However, A few months later (around August 2018), my engine and dashboard shut off and leaves me dead in the middle of Northern Blvd. Needing a repair ASAP, I bring it into Autozone to ask for help. They determine its the alternator that broke and its because of the battery being too large. I was a little skeptical about this (because Ive never heard of a car battery being too large), but Autozone was able to get the car started again, so I visit two other mechanics and Star Toyota. Every time my car is checked for damage, its determined that the alternator was broken and that it was because of the battery being too big. At this point, its pretty obvious; Bayside Auto Repair made a mistake and accidentally put in the wrong battery.I bring this news to Bayside Auto Repair, looking to get some sort of explanation (and perhaps some compensation) but when I explain to them what happened, they tell me that Im lying about the broken alternator and about the battery being too large. Im told that its impossible that they made a mistake and that I cant be trusted. Excuse me? I have receipts detailing the damages done to my car from Star Toyota themselves, but somehow Im lying and that four other mechanics are wrong? Businesses should take responsibility for what they do, even if its a mistake, but all I got was accusations. I was even told to go away! This is how Bayside Auto Repair treats their customers. At the end of it all, I left with nothing, not even an apology.Bayside Auto Repair does not proudly stand behind their services and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. Unless youre giving them money, youre treated with contempt and disrespect. If you value your car and time, DO NOT go to Bayside Auto Repair.

Decided to stop into this shop after getting an evaluation quote from audi and another audi specialist in middle village. I saw this place while heading to bay terrace mall and figured id see what their evaluation quote would be. All i can say is WOW! The price was hundreds of dollars less in comparison to the other quotes I had received. Not only that but the staff was extremely pleasant to me and comprehensively answered every question I had, also got me in and out quickly. I would highly recommend this shop to my family and friends.

My cars bumper got hit, had deep scratches on front, side, hood and light, the bumper was also misaligned. I quoted from another body shop, which estimated a few thousand dollars to replace a few things. Luckily I went to Bayside Auto for a quote, which only costed me a few hundred dollars to repair everything, and it looked brand new!
The frame was straightened with a straighting machine and is .00 in spec from factory measurements with the paper work to show for it, and the car was aligned multiple times before, I took it to CAMBERTOE in Long Island and they fixed the alignment without an issue.The age of the vehicle has nothing to do with how an alignment should be performed rude and un professional. Owner out sources most of his work and charges extra. Buyer beware the suspension components of my corvette were 110% stock, corvette has a setting from the factory to lower your vehicle to go to the track on the weekends and then daily drive the car on week days you can lower the vehicle and raise it with the stock suspension but clearly these “pros” don’t understand how suspension works on a corvette. Think twice before going there. Nothing but excuses, tech was lazy and a bolt was seized so he decided to give up on my alignment and send me home with a car driving crooked dangerous

I wouldn’t recommend this shop for anything else than oil change and easy jobs. They tend to outsource any serious work and thus take a (2nd) markup on the price. Also prices on the parts themselves is x4. Their lot is small so they park cars in the streets.

Great service, went to get my car inspected. Was in and out in like 20mins!
Avoid. Very rude owner. One of the workers there forgot to replace the state inspection sticker which lead to my ticket for expired sticker (the shop did pay for my ticket). The owner twice blamed me for not checking upon leaving. That was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

2022-05-27I’ve been going to this auto shop for a few years now and keep coming back for all of my repair needs. The crew really cares about fixing any of my issues when I bring in my car, and I never feel like I’m being over charged or swindled into fixing something else. They are always really honest with what needs to be done and how to do so. I also really like that it’s clearly a family business.

2022-05-28TERRIBLE customer service. And racist.Improve the way you speak to your customers!!! Especially when they don’t speak English!!!!!!!!Short story: gave me back the car DIRTY, antifreeze everywhere and sticky. The second time called me and in a NASTY way and told me “come get your car its ready” and we said “i cant right now im at work can i get it later” they said “if you dont come get your car now we’ll leave on the street”-very nasty tone. Went to go get the car and another nasty tone “the car is over ther somewhere” as he points in a general direction somewhere with absolutely no care given. Where??? The car was like three blocks away and didnt even specify!!DO NOT recommend, ill find a better place.

2021-09-28Ive been going to Bayside Auto since 2014. Ami and his team have performed maintenance and inspection on six different vehicles for my family throughout this time. Everyone Ive spoken to has always been honest with findings and attentive to the numerous questions I always have. If you need an honest mechanic, choose this shop.

From my first conversation on the telephone to their prompt call back with a reasonable estimate, to picking up my repaired car, at exactly the time promised, for exactly the estimated price, to the follow up call to make sure I was totally satisfied, every step was professional and reassuring. The lot was filled with new expensive cars and I was a brand new customer with my old Subaru, yet, I was treated like I was the their only customer.I was so unnerved when my car broke down in the pouring rain, late Christmas Eve,but... things do work out for the best; it brought me to Bayside Auto Repair and now I feel that I have a trustworthy & reliably place to bring my car, and to recommend to my family and friends .

2020-07-09I called the shop on a Wednesday morning, brought my 2016 BMW 5 series in [as it had multiple dents and scratches on the bumpers and sides], and within 48 hours I picked up my vehicle. It looked like I had just bought it--shiny and no evidence of the prior damage. It was surprisingly easy, the cost was reasonable, and therefore I highly recommend Bayside Auto Repair. I intended to repair to get better value on a trade-in but it looks so good now that Im not sure anymore.

2021-06-12I am so grateful that I brought my vehicle into Bayside Auto Repair and encountered Ami. I had recently purchased a used vehicle through a big named dealership in Queens. Immediately the vehicle wasnt performing well with a check engine light on. I originally brought the vehicle back to the dealership service center where they informed me that the limited warranty on the used vehicle did not cover the service work that I needed to have the vehicle operate properly and to have the engine light be turned off. On top of my purchase price I paid the dealership $3,200 in service fees to repair the vehicle. The engine light kept coming on and the vehicle was still underperforming. Thats when I took it to Bayside Auto Repair and met Ami. Im so grateful he gave me an honest assessment on the vehicle and did a full diagnostics at a reasonable price and told me what I needed to do to have leverage with the dealership, for them to either repair my vehicle or return it for a full refund. Ami from Bayside Auto Repair is the most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. As a consumer that just recently spent a large amount of money on what I believed to be a decent used vehicle through a dealership I was feeling vulnerable and the dealership was not helping me or listening to my concerns until Bayside Auto Repair got involved. With the information that Bayside Auto Repair gave me informing me of my rights as someone that recently purchased a used vehicle through a dealership and giving me all the information I needed to protect myself as a consumer and for me to contact the DMV inspection facility and to get the DMV inspectors involved. Without Bayside Auto Repair the dealership would not listen to me and took none of my concerns about the engine light coming on again (Sales team) seriously and even disregarded the engine light that was coming on. Without Bayside Auto Repairs help the dealership would have never made the attempt to repair the vehicle free of charge now until I threatened to surrender the vehicle to the DMV inspectors. Without having any knowledge that there was a DMV inspection facility service provided by the Department of Motor vehicles to protect consumers just for this situation was unknown to me until I went to Bayside Auto Repair and ran into an honest repair shop that was truly concerned about helping me.Thank you again Bayside Auto Repair.6/12/21The vehicle was returned to me today from the Dealership Service Center. 2020-11-05I love Bayside Auto. Very nice people, prices are very reasonable, work is done on time, there is no bait and switch nonsense where they tell you one thing or price and then charge you more. If they look at your car they call you and tell you exactly what you need and how much it costs! There are No surprises and they will not do anything until you give the go ahead. They are honest and professional!

2019-09-25Brought in my vehicle which had a chip and a few scratches. I asked if they were able to blend it with paint which I provided. For an extremely reasonable price they told me they were able to blend it. 3 days later I received the car which looked immaculate. Not only did they do a fantastic job, one of the workers told me he had to repaint it because it had a bad reaction the first time around. It’s extremely rare to find a body shop that’s honest. Workers here care about their work and make sure they do their absolute best. I would highly recommend this shop. Extremely professional and honest.
