First time visiting Bayville Scream park and on Halloween day 10/31/21It was cool not as scary and It was a little disappointing because it was supposed to be 6 haunted houses but only 5 was in operation.Prior to me and my family going we emailed and called the customer service to inquire information and it was stated all 6 will be available.I feel like It was false advertisement and I should have gotten a little reimbursement for not being able to view all 6 since it was paid for. Also those who dont drive their own vehicle make sure you pick a early time so you can leave early if you require a taxi because it took us an hour to finally get an uber after leaving the park at 9pm.
First the lines were too long and they need to work harder on social distancing the parties.. they did however strongly enforce Mask compliance.. ***Buy the speed pass** we bought the speed pass after waiting online for an hour.. looked like it was another hour wait to go. With the speed pass we were inside the first haunted house in 3 minutes. The haunted houses were excellent.. worth every penny i paid.. great experience. My 12 year daughter and her friends were scared, excited and thought it was great.. definitely recommend!!!!!
THIS WAS EPIC! BAYVILLE PUTS SIX FLAGS FRIGHTFEST TO SHAME! Joining all the haunted houses together (cause of COVID crowd management) takes things to the next level, its an onslaught of scary. Great Job. The actors were ALL THE WAY in character. The props are SUPER detailed! Had a great time!
Worst experience ever. This place should be shut down. The website says they practice social distancing... what a joke. There had to be over thousand people in this park at the same time. If you want to catch covid come here.. Everyone was on top of eachother. they are under staff. WE WAITED ONLINE FOR 3 HOURS WITH FLASH PASS TICKETS!!!!! We couldnt even get into one house! People save your money!!!Over pricedNo refundsScam!!!
So I had bought this adventure deal for my little family on Groupon and I to have an awesome Easter Sunday. In the print where it states What youll get it says Easter brunch with the bunny. Nope it was not included. It is false advertisement. I spoke with both groupon and the amusement park and the amusement park wouldnt honor it. Even my email with the amusement park he states that it wouldnt cover the brunch but online with the calculations it just doesnt add up. This amusement is not worth it. Might as well use that 40 bucks a person towards Lake Quassy. Also I had to pay an extra 19 on top of the 89 I had already spent on this groupon deal because the tax wasnt included. Ive always used Groupon. Never had a problem with Groupon until this park. I will never be returning!
We went there for their Halloween Festival. I myself hate Halloween but actually loved the energy and atmosphere here . One detractor for some would be the lines and the crowd especially since we are still in a Pandemic Lite environment. Their is zero social distancing , so if that is not for you , you have been warned . The horror houses are fun and some of the live characters will provide some shock value . At $50 a head there is probably better but we had a great time
The 30 foot Jungle Tree Top Adventure was a hit with the kids as was the rock climbing walls. One rock climbing wall is inside in the air conditioning and tough. The other is outside and easier. They are a bit light on staff, but we found the employees to be friendly and helpful.
I went with my boyfriend and 2 kids ages 9 and 15 and we had so much fun. The actors costumes and make up were great and you could really tell they enjoy what they do because they put a lot of effort into the scaring. The first attraction my 9 yo wouldnt open her eyes but by the third attraction she realized it was all for fun and started having a blast. Id suggest buying tickets for all six attractions, it was well worth it.
Do not waste your time. It is so overpriced and they do not have all of the attractions they advertise for. I took my kids to the Halloween attraction and spent a fortune on the unlimited passes. The bouncy house they advertised for was deflated, there was no spooky stories, hermit crab races, Halloween train, etc. the managers were so rude when we approached them on why there was false advertisement. They said there is nothing they can do for us. I feel like I was robbed. The park was so small they should not be charging the price that they are for an unlimited pass. Will never go back.
What a waste of time and money… If you are looking for a good scare, this is not the place! They barely have any actors participating & the few that are just seem unmotivated & bored. The haunted house props are weak… The fast pass was worth it, & luckily I went with a great group of friends. If your looking for a BETTER more AFFORDABLE experience… check out (Schmitts Farm Haunt) 100% recommended
My wife and I came here years ago for date night mini golf. It was so much fun! But now we brought our son to play mini golf. It was not maintained well at all. Bushes were over grown the course on some holes. Your ball could end in the water very easily there was no barriers to prevent that. Good thing we took an extra ball with us. Im sure the over all feel and activities to do here are ok. But very disappointing on the mini golf only.
Beautiful amusement park and very affordable. But the staff that work there make the park worth going to. They are so polite, so friendly, so good to the kids. I cant say how thankful I am to the staff at the park for making my nephews day!!! They make the park.even better!!!
This place has the perfect vibe for spooky season. My boyfriend and I had a blast! We went on a Thursday and arrived at gate opening time and blew through all of the lines with no speed pass! The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I think they were a bit understaffed. With more staff the attractions couldve been much scarier. The Manor and Evil in the woods were my favorites. The actors in Bloodworth Manor were expressive and got your adrenaline going! I will definitely be returning next year, hopefully there will be more actors.
Over priced and not scary.. I mean the prices are in line with other similar attractions, however they didnt have enough people working each attraction to make it scary. Also, they dont allow you to select which attraction you can go see, unless you pay for all 6 attractions! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! Six Flags Great Adventure, which is way more scary and where you will get your monies worth!
A rip off. Here on Halloween. The walk through are bogus, not scary at all, no workers here to even attempt to scare anyone. Expensive and the arcade machines don’t even work, half of them are broken or don’t give tickets. Paid a bit over $200 for me and my boyfriend to get the speed pass, got right through for everything but it literally sucked. WE were actually scaring people because there wasn’t even staff to do so. Wouldn’t come back or recommend unless you feel like wasting money or want to spend money on overpriced alcohol beverages. The zombie ax throwing was cool though.
My wife and I paid for the all haunted house experience on Halloween night. We had a 9pm showing. Can u explain why 166 dollars, halloween night, a park full of people would not have every haunted house staffed? No one was checking our tickets at the door. There were no actors in the houses. The outdoor experiences 2 staff members apologized that no one was there to aide in the frightful experience. We paid 83 per person to see waxed figures. I was very disappointed!
Super Under staffed some attractions had no workers so it was just a empty muddy space.I will say the fast pass was worth it as we bypassed all the long lines beside the entry gate. Overall it was just ok kids enjoyed it because it was Halloween Day and something cool to do,but I probably wont go back.
They are master manipulators when it comes to their advertising. Total thieves. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Their Christmas event was dark and dingy. Smoke from the fire pits was intense, unsafe wooden boards to be walked on in the forest of trees, characters with FILTHY costumes randomly hugging the children, hot chocolate was actually cold, cigarette-butts everywhere, no staff to be found... I can keep going.
Took the kids to see one of the summer drive in movies, which they hold in a small back lot at the far end of the park. The price is a bit steep ($55 for the car) and includes a mandatory voucher for $30 of food from the ice cream parlor plus the movie. They had regular amusement park options like burgers, fries, chicken tenders, milkshakes and soda, etc. The menu didnt match what was shown in the movie food menu on the website so that was a bit disappointing. In any case, we all had fun. The screen they used is pretty small and has seen better days, but it was fine once the movie started. You tune into a specific radio station in your car to hear that movie audio. It was hot and humid so we kept the car running most of the movie. Dont forget to turn off your headlights! 😂 It was a bit hard to find the entrance to where to drive in to the park, you dont go in the main entrance obviously. The car entrance is to the right of the main entrance next to the motel right as you come around the steep bend in the road by the water.
Went for the St. Patricks Day event this weekend and it was absolutely terrible. We had tickets for the deluxe package which was a St. Patricks themed dinner, the 3 themed haunted houses and a speed pass for the lines to them. The dinner was at shipwreck tavern, they said you need a reservation time but that meant nothing! Waited over an hour to be seated, they already ran out of half the food on the menu and took another hour to bring out appetizers. Other tables never got their food, sent it back because it was cold, waited an hour just for a drink etc. We told them to box up our dinner because the park closes at 11pm and we still didnt get to the haunted houses and it was 940pm. Eventually they brought it out and we went to the attractions. There was nobody in line or inside the houses. They only had about 5 actors for all 3 attractions trying their best to run through and reach you but its a lot for those few people. There was no leprechaun themed decoration no costumes it was a regular Halloween attraction. This was clearly a money grab from management. They should never have opened if they didnt have the staff to do it properly. This was an embarrassment to the park which supposedly has such a great reputation for being so scary. Absolutely horrible experience! Save your money! And we ate the food the next day and everyone was sick from it.
Looks like my neighbor’s house the week after Halloween when he’s no longer turning on his inflatables yet they remain on his lawn. It’s like it was an adventure park, someone decided to make it a haunted house, but never cleaned up the Halloween stuff. It’s severely understaffed, and nobody told the staff that they don’t need to act like zombies. Things are slightly rundown. Attractions weren’t running (train, water slide, etc). $30+ for an all day pass wasn’t so bad, but that’s only because the place didn’t enforce their own rule that an adult needs to buy a ticket if he wants his kid to go on the attractions. If I had to do that I would have immediately annihilated my star rating and would never re-attend. I barely want to now. The neighboring bars and restaurants seem to be owned by the same people, but most were not open and I couldn’t tell if they were abandoned, part of a Halloween attraction, or just closed for the day.
If you like disorganized “scary” haunted houses with very few actors, horrible security, and overpaying while they do not abide by covid restrictions than this is the place for you! The worst part was the mansion was non stop flickering lights making me sick. I asked numerous actors for an exit as i get seizures if they are too long and they refused to show me a safe exit. Insanity.
Agree with other recent reviews, this isnt really worth the price of admission. Waited in line for at least 2 hours before making it to the attractions. Social distancing happens inconsistently here and there. The staff keeps calling out that people need to social distance, but dont really enforce it further than that. I understand the difficulties of maintaining an attraction like this while trying to adhere to the new guidelines, and people dont always listen, but it seems efforts are minimal. Kept seeing people breeze through with the fast pass, but my group did not want to spend extra money per person when we already paid the steep entrance fee. Also paid for axe throwing, which my group did not get to do. They had closed that attraction by the time we finished the main attractions. Our time slot was 10p, and we didnt finish the main attractions until 1:30a, and everything else in the park was already closed. The present staff could not advise on refunds for axe throwing; they had no idea at all. The attractions themselves were simply alright for the most part. There were a few good scary moments and a few excellent actors, but the majority of the time was spent walking through halls of props and seeing all the other participants walking through as well. Especially at the last two attractions, it mostly seemed empty like the actors had left to go home. This was definitely a unique experience, but not one I would particularly like to repeat or encourage other people to take part in.
A must for those whom wish to test their heart for possible failure. Screams and near death experiences what occurs on a regular basis. The dead are secretly carried away. No one really knows what becomes of them but there is an odd aftertaste in the local eating establishment. Waste not want not is what is said. Bone meal can be purchased at a less than market price. For the admission price it is indeed an inexpensive way to create a missing person.Have fun!
4 stars only only because my kids LOVED it. Aside from the place itself, Id actually only give it 2 stars bc there are a bunch of teenagers running the rides and allowing the kids to do anything they want whether its dangerous or not. I witnessed many things that were disturbing enough that Im calling to speak to the manager about everything.
Disappointing visit.. Several rides &/or areas closed. Shortage of staff. Video arcade too expensive. 18th hole of miniature golf not functioning. Not worth it to buy the VIP pay one price $35as u dont get access to all.YEAH FREE STREET PARKING & YEAH BEACH IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET.
I was actually really torn between a one star and a two star rating but I gave them to two just because of their location. You got the beach and a few good restaurants in the area which is a huge plus but the adventure park it’s just not well-maintained at all. We came here twice in three weeks and both times were pretty disappointing. The arcade room is very out of date w/ their games and a good portion of them didn’t even work properly (either the game itself or spitting out tickets). The miniature golf course was atrocious, there were leaves, twigs and droppings from the trees all over the courses to a point that you couldn’t even hit the ball properly without it being thrown off course. That was just to name a few things. Place could make a killing it it was updated and well kept.
Good local park. We went on not so scary day for the younger kids and bought the ticket online for 3 of us. Turned out if your kids hight is over 42, they can play alone and you(the parent) dont need a ticket to access the park. There is no tickets check at the entrance. I wish they have more information indicate on the website on what activities is proper for kids and what is not. We bought the trowing the axe for my 6 yrs old boy which I thought it should not be available when you buy the ticket on not so scary day!
Came here for valentines day they have a very friendly staff shout out to Eric one of their very nice waiters in there restaurant. The Haunted houses were nice but small and short . The lines werent bad at the time i went because our tickets were for after they ussually close which left us rushing to do everything and get food before they did. People came in after us bummed because they didnt get to do the things they paid for and they clearly state no refund everywhere. I had fun because of who i was there with and staff members that made it hard to be mad. I dont recommend buying tickets online should buy them there just incase you can check out what your paying for first lotta misleading add ons.
Truly a former shell of itself. The place is run down, with all the attractions begging for renovations. And I know they have the money to renovate because of the expensive pricing. Arcade is completely closed, with all the arcade machines being old and run down. The figures on the mini golf course have been completely destroyed by time. Food is ok, nothing special but nothing horrible. Staff is overworked and understaffed. All the signage is old and outdated and doesnt include the new rides. I dont think they are following the proper measurements for COVID-19, as there is nobody enforcing social distancing and I saw nobody disinfecting anything. And all of this truly upsets me because the place has so much potential, and the location is amazing. If only the ownership was competent and could actually enforce real change in the location, but at last it seems they are simply pocketing all the money they make and dont invest it back into the park. I guess go at night for the haunted house attractions, as they are decent, but any other time of the year, the park is a sad, lonely, and dead place begging for help.Sincerely,Disappointed Customer
I brought my family here last Feb. 14 to celebrate Valentines Day with them. My 2 kids were able to enjoy the rides and I am confident with the safety that they have. We also got entertained with their attractions and they have a large pool which is big and cold, great for summer escapades. I never regretted going to this wonderful place and I am highly encouraging everyone to visit this awesome park.
This was my first time going to a drive in movie theater. I dont know why but O thought the screen would be a bit bigger. So definitely get there early so you get a good spot. All the workers were nice and friendly. We ordered some food and they got my order wrong and the food was ice cold. We also ordered some drinks and it tasted like it didnt have any alcohol. Also was next to a car where they didnt stop talking so that was fun 🙄.
The place is wonderful and my kids always have fun coming here with my family. The staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable and professional as well. The customer service is exceptional and was really amazing with the management. The park was well-maintained, very clean and had a lot of attractions to have fun. We did the miniature golf, the rock climbing and also the arcade. Great experience, from start to finish.
Just not worth the price. They claim 6 haunted houses but the first 3 are combined into 1, another was closed down due to flooding, the other two were pretty much throwing you in the dark woods with little to no lighting and an actor or two. Lack of lighting, lack of actors, lack of effort. Super disappointed. . Won’t be coming back.
Its always a lot of fun here, but the lines took forever. We ended up buying speed passes and it made a huge difference. There werent as many actual people actors to scare you, but I guess thats because of COVID, but it was still fun even wearing your mask at all times.
They didnt plan this out. Groups couldve been spaced apart better. They didnt really enforce social distancing or seem to follow any COVID precautions. My group kept getting sandwiched between the group before and after us and it took away from the scares and experience. Also, I dont think they have many workers. The jump scares tapered off as we moved from one haunted house to the next. Overall, Id say it was a meh experience.
Yeah I had fun time working at this place and clown house was lit last year. but heres the problem, soo many people quit easily in the first/or two week of working here and the manager were little bit mean and last year big brawl going on. so instead of that job, I was working at my 2nd job at Schmidts farm haunts and working there is more friendly and positive. Also, the managers are nice and cool.
Went here last night for their screampark. Their lines were so long. The park was so crowded last night that you can barely even turn around and even walking over there was a nightmare. I had to wait in a line just to walk around people. The fast pass definitely helped so it was worth the extra money to fast pass everything. The haunted houses in general werent the worst but werent the best either. I did have a couple of scares and its not easy that easy to scare me. So they were able to get me 3 times out of all the 6 houses. They definitely need more people working in the houses to scare people. Also, they need to keep the crowds out by limiting the amount of people at one time who can go into the park because you cant even turn around in that place on busy nights like that. Parking around here is pretty good because there is a small parking lot in the back but you can also park in the front and in the beach parking area across the street.
Disappointing! If you have kids under 7, Save yourself the aggravation. Our visit to Bayville Adventure park was a complete waste of time. Before driving over an hour from Brooklyn I researched the attractions, ticket options and prices, age/height restrictions etc. On their covid-19 updated website it states that1. All but 1 of the attractions were open2. They offer 1 day unlimited ticket at $31, which allows guests to ride most rides all day.3.The Adventure tower had no age restrictions. Quote: fun for ALL agesWe get there and the place is run down, 11am and the tables were filthy...The Adventure tower (one of the most appealing attractions for little kids) is not advised for small/skinny children to get on because they can slip through the bungees and they dont allow adults in to assist the kid...so much for FUN FOR ALL AGES I guess. The Bungee bounce attraction was closed...Fun House closed... now we are down to 3 attractions that my children can enjoy. Ok fine....we go to buy tickets and the ticket clerk not only tells us that they were no longer offering unlimited tickets but that same $31 would only allow us to ride one time...Six flags Great Adventure is $45 for a dozen rides/attractions that I can enjoy from opening to closing time. And you want me to pay $31 for my child to go in ONLY 3 these crusty run down attractions ONCE?!!!...I was extremely disappointed. I feel like there was a lot of bait and switch. This isnt how you run a business. If you are going to make such drastic changes/adjustments to your pricing or ticket options you have to let your patrons know so they can plan their trip accordingly. Update your website. The only saving grace and why Ill give it a star, was the bathroom was clean and the clerk I guess felt bad for us and gave us an extra ticket to ride the bumper boats again (the only ride we went on). The Lost Temple maze was kind of fun to find our way out of.Drove an 1hour stayed 30 mins
Rude. Rude. Rude. Overpriced. Understaffed.Go any where else. Long lines for the bumper boats and then was snapped at by the attendant that our group couldnt go as one. Meanwhile we passed other people behind us so we could get 4 boats at once. She kept saying youre a group of 4 so these 2 boats wont be good for you.45 minutes later she tells us we cant use all 4 boats at once. And another boat breaks as we are waiting. Lmao what a joke and waste of money
🌟0 STARS IF I COULD🌟. I went on a longgg drive with my small child to get here. They claimed they were friendly for all ages. Not only to overpay on things that werent open! My son was truly miserable😞.He was too small for the rides he wanted to go on and I was too big for most of the rides. Not to mention the poor sanitation. I thought they would take extra precautions to make sure all guests were safe and not at risk of conornavirus. Dont get me wrong I didnt have high expections by any means but I was very disappointed. Not only for the prices I payed but the lack of saftey provided💰😠.Got some ice cream ice 🍦somewhere else after so he was happy. Save yourself the money time and stress. Dont come.😔
My husband, son and I went to the drive in theatre recently. I would give this experience no stars if I could. First, even though we got there early, they directed us onto the wrong line (they separate smaller vehicles from bigger ones, and we should have been on the smaller side). As a result, several large SUVs and minivans went ahead of us, before my husband asked for an explanation. Realizing their mistake, someone else came over and directed us to a spot near the front. Unfortunately, this spot turned out to be a problem for several reasons. The minivan on the left side of us kept their car running the entire time. In fact, instead of asking them to abide by the rules and keep their car off like the rest of us, staff jumped their car so it could keep running. It was too hot to have the windows up, so we breathed in exhaust almost the entire time, until we couldn’t take it anymore and put the windows up. On the passenger’s side, our window opened up to the garbage can. So we had a cross ventilation of garbage and exhaust throughout the movie. Plus, it was extremely buggy so we were eaten alive. It was so bad that we wanted to leave but we could not! There is only one way in and out, and they parked several cars behind us. If there was a fire, no one would be able to get out. I can’t imagine it was legal to park us all in that way. There was no way to leave in an emergency, let alone to escape this generally awful experience. The price for this terrible night includes 50 dollars toward dinner. At 8:30 our orders were taken. At 9pm 3 out of 6 drinks came. Then at 9:30, our three other drinks came. By 10pm, our dinners arrived and boy were they badddd. Undercooked veggie burger, no salt on fries, and now nothing to drink because our small drinks came so much earlier. We would have gladly left, but like I said, we were stuck in this miserable, bug-ridden, stinking garbage exhaust spot with no way to move forward or reverse out. Stay at home in the AC, cook yourself some decent food, and save your self an exhaust headache. I’m sure Indiana Jones is on demand. 110 dollars in all for this miserable experience.
Attended the drive in viewing of Harry Potter on their giant blow up movie screen. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tickets included food and drinks that are brought right to your car from a menu which includes burgers shakes and popcorn. The food is delicious and their shakes are fantastic and also have boozy options. There are speakers from the movie projector if you are parked toward the front but to hear the movie clearly they transmit the audio to your car radio. Very nice town to drive to and walk around if you have the time. Great experience. One to remember through all the covid shut downs.
Over advertised and under promised. Workers were overwhelmed.I bought the 6 attraction with speed pass ticket but 1. No one scanned my tickets to enter the park. 2. No one scanned my tickets for the speed pass entrance. Therefore letting mass groups into the attractions/houses.Each houses only had up to 2-3 actors. It wasnt as scary or as fun as the other places Ive been to. They didnt really put effort in scaring us. Most of them stood there staring at you.A majority of the attraction exits through the same alley way, causing major traffic. There was no control or guidance from the workers. They were actually overwhelmed and felt claustrophobic.I was able to get through 2 attractions before I decided to leave. It just wasnt worth it.Also, parking was HORRIBLE. It was so packed that I ended up paying $10 parking at the beach.I spoke with one local there and she said it was never like this. I believe they over advertised and wasnt expecting the crowd and didnt have enough staff to control the place. Smh. I wouldnt go back and I dont reccomend.

2022-05-30Very friendly and helpful staff. Big thank you to Steve who took extra good care of our kid on the ropes course. Many things to do. Really fun mini golf course. Downsides are the ticket counter only accepts cash. Most people do not carry that much cash these days. An unlimited wristband is $33 which is a good deal, but non riding guests are required to buy a $14 entry ticket! Best to drop the kids off for this one.

2021-10-06Haunted Attractions were awesome.. They have a great arcade and shop to get you Bayville souvenirs. They have food court but it was closed and the not so scary attractions and water rides for kids were closed as well. Which is fine because we went at night just for the fright. I loved the whole woods and scary roads before arriving to the scream park. I was very hyped and enjoyed it all. Thanks scream park.

2021-10-27First time visit. I liked the creative decor of each haunted house. Great for children over 12, date night or guys/girls night out. Theres miniature golf, bumper boats and a bouncey for daytime visit but nighttime is for adults with jello shots! Nice restaurant next door Ship Wrecked. Haunted House begins at 7pm. Go early to find parking. Not sure if you can park across the street.

2021-08-12It was quiet when we went sonthere was no wait for anything. I dont think its worth almost $40 for a all inclusive band. It does have some fun features but not worth full amount. They have bumper cars, a rope course, maze, haunted mirror house, mini golf, balloon launch and a trampoline bounce. There is also an arcade and a bounce slide with water. The kids did have a good time so cant complain too much. It would be nice to see what they do for Halloween and Christmas.

2022-07-03Been going here for years with kids--they always have fun...even the grown-ups! Theres an arcade, water-balloon-war area, miniature golf area, scary clown house of mirrors, an outdoor maze, bumper boats with a squirt gun attached, indoor rock climbing (outdoor too I think), outdoor tightrope walking/climbing, food court with hot dogs, pizza, burgers, ice cream, chicken fingers...and during Halloween, they have a haunted house just to name a few things to do...its definitely a fun time when youre with a group.

2022-06-27Best hidden gem and one of my familys favorite places to go. Great activities for kids and adults without the crowds of other amusement parks. Bayville is the perfect size too. Not too big but perfect for a few hours of fun, food and ice cream! We just held my sons 6th birthday here. Meeta and the crew could not have been better to work with! They were so kind, helpful and accommodating! The party was amazing and all the kids had an absolute blast! We love it here!!!
