Winter wonderland more like winter SUCKLAND. The website game false advertisement about their place, time and attractions. I now understand why they don’t give refunds because they would be out of business. This place was a total disappointment. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! You will only find yourself disappointed and catfished
There was 4 of us in our group of adults but I thought admission of $21 each was high, I wish they could break the price up since we didnt need to do the mini golfing or skating on December 26th and its night time and cold out. The house of mirrors and the christmas attraction are an indoor attraction and pretty big. It was tricky and through me off trying to get thru the house of mirrors that was fun. Both were cool with the 3d glasses on, so we liked that and took numerous photos. Outside the Christmas characters (reindeer, frosty, bear and mouse) were really nice, friendly and posed for numerous photos. We decided to do the walked thru on the 18 hole mini golf course since we paid which was very nicely thought out (it would be fun to come again in the spring and summer) and also had very cool designs throughout but since its freezing out we didnt play it and we really came for the Christmas attraction anyway. We went into the game room to see some good selection of games played a few and left after. Overall it was a fun time but the price a lil high. I would visit again though & its good to have a place like this on Long Island.
5 of us took our kids here on December 21 2018 6:00 pm. The train took our kids around the skating rink 2 times for a total of 1 min ride... no one else was waiting in line, but that was all the time our kids was allowed. Just one ride!No other attractions was open. The wait to see Santa was insane. After 1:30 min we left. You need to know just how horrible of an experience this was. Kids had nothing to do it’s just you paying for a pic with Santa for $23 a person. Santa pic experience was simply torture. Long wait with not nice people. Don’t go
My family had a great time visiting Bayville Winter Wonderland. Its a great place for relaxing to have the kids place. The entire park was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant nearby also provides delicious meal and there was an ice cream parlor too! Worth a visit!
I really enjoyed all the characters that would greet all the children, They would even dance and skate the kids. I love walking thru the light show they have set up really felt like being transported to another worldSanta was the best part of my trip, just his jolly laugh and smile was enough to bring the earth of Christmas to my heart and my little cousins face her eye and face light up with such joy.Thank you Bayville for allowing us to have a wonderful time!
It could be better, invest into your park. Clean the damn rafters in the haunted house where your taking pictures with Santa. P.S. Upgrade the camera! We took a blurry picture on a camera from 1999, we dont need prints just email them, get with the program. The public expects more!
Not worth the high price. You get hardly anything when you have 2 adults and 1 child and it cost $75 to walk around to limited (4) entertainment and pay for an old looking arcade area. Its by the beach so its really a amusement park for the late spring summertime and early fall and to keep revenue for the winter they came up this idea. I will NEVER RETURN. FORCED TO GIVE IT 1 STAR FOR IT TO BE POSTED. NOT WORTH THAT STAR.
Thought it was going to be a fun time but i was definately wrong. Spent 7 dollars on 2 cups of hot chocolate that were ice cold, the marshmallows were solid as rocks like they were stale, and pictures with santa were taken on a cell phone. Very dissapointed and im glad i didnt pay the 80 something dollars they wanted to do the rest of the attractions that didnt even look like they were open. For sure will not go back there.
Loved it. The managers Meeta and Mike were so great. They helped me organize my family party and were so attentive to everything I needed. The food at the restaurant next door was amazing. The calamari appetizer was delicious. It had some sweet chile glaze. They had ran over all the drinks for my very needy family and went above and beyond to cater to us and the kids.
So I read all the reviews before going but after I bought the tickets on groupon and was really scared going there. There were lots of negative reviews on Yelp and other places. But then we went anyway. It took us an hour to drive there (from Edgewater NJ) and because we came at 1pm and left around 3:30pm we didnt have any traffic going in or out. Also it is kind of small place, BUT, my four year old had so much fun. There was festive music everywhere, ice scating was open, not great ice, but kids at this age enjoy it so much. Train was going round and round and my daughter came back to ride it probably 5 times. She loved it. It was making all kind of noises that train suppose to make. She loved it so much.Rudolph, who was greating people in front of the Santas workshop (where you take pictures with Santa) was AMAZING! He was happy, dancing all the time. Then danced with my daughter. Then helped her taking pictures with Santa cause she was afraid of Santa a little :-).Overall it was amazing experience. If you would look at it with 4 year old person eyes - it was magical. Thank you to all the people who did it and thank you to a very patient Santa and his helpers to finally help my daughter have a picture with Santa.Amazing experience. Thank you all! Happy New Year!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I don’t know who wrote the other reviews must be the employees tryin 2 keep their jobs. Looked like a fun filled park that would keep 3 girls busy a couple of hrs...NOT! Ice skating was shut down, mini golf had no lites so was pitch black & dirty the holes were packed w/leaves & mud & the balls disappeared & had 2 go back 2 get more...character (yes 1) creepy gingerbread man & if you’re looking 4 jolly old St Nick he ain’t here that’s 4 sure! Arts & crafts were a lil bag left out in the counter w/a foam elf. RIP OFF!
This had to be the biggest waste of money !!! They are short staffed all around. First you wait forever on line to get in. The light show is no on during the day. We go on the train and it breaks down so we all had to get off. You go into the arcade for the next rip-off. They charge you $1.50 for the plastic card and the machine to purchase that is out of order . So you go and play....19 points for a game..... and cash in the tickets... and to no surprise the machine is not working. Ok you go to the desk and cash them in, but wait , the poor probably underpaid kid is helping with the rock climbing so cant help us. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!! Go wait on line for Santa..... the place opens at 12:00 but no Santa until after 1:15. Waited half hour only to see that inside you would would be waiting another hour on line. The worst experience in the world. Do not waste your precious time or money.
Went yest, my 4year old was so scared by the Light show which still had all the scary characters from holloween. she did not want to see anything else after that. The image of a winter wonderland for a child is definetly not scary zombie pirates. I wish i only spent $5 for what they offer.

2017-12-27Winter Wonderland was a mess. They never took down the Halloween decorations. The Christmas decorations was place right on top and over the Halloween scenery. It looked like a nightmare. We made the best of it. Santa factory fun house was nothing of a fun house at all. The ice skating rink was horrible. We couldn’t skate on the rink, they never cleaned the ice and was very bumpy. Santa’s helper was rude. Don’t waste your time or money not worth it...

2022-02-08This place is a horror theme park barely dressed up to look like Christmas. Im not exaggerating: literal skeletons, dead bodies etc. all over the place, including on top of Santa’s “House. It would have been honestly hilarious if the tickets weren’t so ludicrously expensive for the experience. (You know what IS hilarious though? The hundreds of obviously fake Google reviews with identical or close-to identical language between posts! Scroll down and have a good laugh, I know I did). Anyway, more than half the park attractions are closed, and the ones that remain are basically House of Mirrors with Christmas Lights Added and A Handful of Fake Christmas Trees Randomly Positioned in a Wooded Area. The hot chocolate and snacks are heinously overpriced. “Pathetic” doesn’t even begin to describe this rip-off. You’d think they’d at least try to put Santa hats on skeletons, but I suppose that would have required too much creativity--instead they used a 100% fake picture of a Christmas village on their Facebook page to lure us in. Good luck if you do check this place out, it will be a memorable experience if nothing else!

2021-12-11I spent 5 minutes in here and left. The ice skating rink is so tiny, and it’s just watery. The Christmas forest was a Christmas tree graveyard, dirty and boring. Would’ve had a better time at Home Depot looking for a Christmas tree. Don’t waste your money here

2021-12-05This place was the worst Christmas park. My daughter and nieces were greeted by a lovely sign of an evil Santa. Which led to them being terrified of Santa. Their so called toy shop is a house of mirrors that has no decorations. Our kids were scared to even go in because there was a huge clown face about the door. It’s a haunted house poorly decorated for Christmas. Their ad is also a lie. It’s not even there. It’s not even their park. False advertising! Their train is shown to be big in their picture and it’s the tiniest train where a family can’t even fit! Also we waited 2 hours to see Santa and ended up just leaving. Their website makes it like you have an appointment to see him but it’s not true as well.

2021-12-06What a horrible experience! All of their photos and advertisements are deceiving and untrue. We went tonight and thankfully used a Groupon. The place was decorated filth (and that is being nice). The smell of smoke from the TWO firepits was overpowering and there was nothing to do other than ice skate (my living room is larger than the packed rink), a fun house with dirty mirrors, and a forest with dead trees covered with lights. We waited on line for 50 minutes for a 3 minute interaction and photo with Santa. There is SO many other places to visit that are worth it. Please avoid this place. All of the bad reviews are honestly... I wish I listened.

2021-12-11I traveled all the way from Houston, Texas to New York and my Brother in law and his fiance brought me to this place, (which is over 100 miles from their home). We all three agreed it was TRASH. Unfortunately the reviews were read after the fact as they all were absolutely horrible and would have been a tremendous help. Our gut feelings were warning us when GPS were telling us to trun on Chicken Run road.....in NY???Not sure what we experienced for the first and last time, but it was not good at all. Hope you guys can do some serious improvements before youre forced out of business.

2021-12-19Winter Blunderland!!!!! Don’t waste your time or money, this place is pathetic. Literally nothing to do - we felt like we got catfished.Axe throwing was an extra $10 for 6 minutes of throwing, the ice skating rink was about 50 square feet and the ice skates were made of plastic. The funhouse they advertised was never even open. Christmas tree village was a 90 second walk through of mud with sad fake Christmas trees.$250 and all we got was a story to tell about the worst Christmas village on earth

2019-01-01If it were possible to give this place and event no stars I would. My family and I went to the Shipwreck Tavern to celebrate the New Year’s eve family dinner. We arrived at approximately 6:05 PM where we were led to our table that had our name on a card. On the tables were happy new year paraphernalia and balloons floating in the ceiling. We sat at our table until approximately 6:53 PM before a waiter finally came over to take order. By this time I was fuming mainly because the waiter who serve the food pass by our table several times and finally noticing that we were not served or greeted which customarily happens within the first few minutes of being seated in every restaurant that you go to. He seemed shocked and said OK I’ll take your order now. We graciously invited him to finish what he was doing as he was in the middle of picking up other customers appetizer plates. After placing our entire dinner order, from appetizer to desert, we waited approximately 15 minutes before we actually received our appetizers. We placed our entire order because we had a proximately one hour to eat before the time was up. We verified with the waiter that the event ended at 8 o’clock to which he promptly responded yes. Clearly, there was no consideration of the fact that we waited almost a full hour before we were even greeted by a waiter to take our order. The food at best could be described as bland. Our daughter clearly enjoyed her chicken fingers and fries. I ordered the fish and fries and my wife ordered the chicken Parmesan with pasta. The chicken Parmesan was horrible. You could easily separate the Parmesan cheese from the chicken which my wife eventually did. The fish and fries was at best blind while the tartar sauce had very little or no taste. For our desert, we ordered the cheesecake which had a very funny aftertaste. The cheesecake lacked the creaminess that is customary with cheesecakes that you eat anywhere else. In addition, it had a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Overall, for the money that we paid for this event it was not worth it at all. At no time at all should anyone have to wait almost an hour for a waiter to come over and take your order. We were not the only ones to experience this as another family not sitting far from inquired of the waiter at least three times the status of their main course. In conclusion, I do not recommend this event for New Year’s eve celebration.
