Beach 32nd boardwalk access in Far Rockaway
A great place to bring the kids or just chill out on the beach by yourself or with family. Newer restrooms with a newer playground close by the boardwalk between beach 30th and beach 32nd street. Enjoy and please put sunscreen on this summer.
Its ok. Just beach nothing on the broadwalk tho maybe youll catch the ice lady with her cart passing by. Show her some love if you do
Lots of Seaweed in the water. You arnt allowed in too deep in the ocean due to park regulations. Got whistled by a officer once, by doing that. Perfect for bike riding along the boardwalk though.
Ever since the city of New York renovated the boardwalk after superstorm Sandy, there has been a lot more use of the boardwalk thankfully. While most of the boardwalk has been rehabilitated appropriately and many many many people use the boardwalk on a daily basis especially in the summer, the beach access points can be incredibly difficult to navigate. Mostly this is because even though there was a ramp and stairs by most of the access points they have about 20 feet of sand leading up to any sort of accessible Road way.
I always have a great time with my family every one who goes there are every friendly and safe park ;)

Weeds need cutting. Someone should take better care of this famous board walk, wow.
Nice and clean beach, everybody was at at least 10 or more feet distance. It reminds me of Florida beaches. I will definitely come back.

Great entryway place to enter the boardwalk and take a stroll. Hang out on the beach with a bring ur own gear and cooler. Watxh nearby sports team matchups. No bathrooms.

2021-06-08Very nice park for the kids. Nice new playground with slides and stuff. The other side is a small waterpark. It would be 5 stars but some of the sprinklers werent working anymore. The waterpark could use some maintenance

2021-06-23We went for a walk and get some fresh air. Scenery is very beautiful and peaceful. Not too much people on the board walk may be due to covid. Its good to get out of the house. I usually start to walk 🚶♂️ from beach 9th and go to beach 59th street, and then walk back to beach 9th . Its just under 5 miles and I am getting my carbio in while enjoying the scenery of the ocean. I particularly like to walk early in the morning or late in the afternoon before the sun comes out or when the sun is going down. That sun could put a serious beating on your face.

2021-10-08Beautiful views breathtaking sunsets. Great place to relax and unwind, rarely crowded. pet friendly. just bring snacks and drinks, there are no concessions or stores nearby.

2021-09-10My 3 yr old loves this place. Way safer, and not as messy compared to going on the beach. Just stay aware and vilegent of the people and surroundings.

2021-07-02Awesome place for children and its free! Swings, slides, and a jungle gym. But wait theres more ..... It has tons of water play, a sand pit and a huge pirate ship that sprays water.
