The staff are so friendly and patient. My husband and I both did teen cleaning here and the oral examination prior to the cleaning was very helpful. I also did my filling with Wang and am doing my Invisalign with Dr. Guan. I cannot recommend them enough.
Always a great experience at Beacon Dental! Dr. Wang and the staff are excellent to deal with. I have had pretty much every type of dental work possible here and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I am having a good experience. I couldnt be more pleased with the results.

Dr. Wang and her staff are amazing. She is thorough and compassionate in her work as well as fair and transparent with costs/prices. I have had some major work so this really matters. The hygienists are very thorough and kind as well. Additionally, the staff goes above and beyond with COVID-19 safety. I have been to many different medical facilities during the pandemic and the most thorough precautions were taken at Dr. Wang’s office. Bottom line is that I will not trust my mouth to any other dentist!
Beacon Dental has been wonderful, my best dental experience to date, and I’m almost 53!The staff is very friendly, professional and polite, providing for a very comfortable and positive experience!Dr. Wang is extremely competent- a perfectionist- and patient, answering all of my questions while making me feel at ease. Most importantly, she has shown me ways to be proactive about my dental care needs, making many helpful suggestions which have made a marked difference.Each time I ha e come to the office- whether it was for a cleaning, cavity fill or even root canal, I have walked away extremely pleased with the overall care. In fact, they have even followed up with phone calls on the more involved procedures. The personal touch makes a huge difference.I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking to have their teeth well taken care of as well as be educated on ways they can continue that care on their own.I could not be more pleased and happy with this dentist office.

Best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! Everybody was extremely nice and welcoming! They are also following many Covid-19 procedures to keep their patients safe and comfortable. The hygienist and doctor explained everything they were doing through the whole process, and checked with me about insurance and pricing throughout the visit. So happy with my visit and I will definitely be making this my new permanent dentist! Thank you!!
Very pleasant experience visiting Dr. Wangs office. It is a very safe and clean environment and the staff are very nice and accommodating. Whether youre visiting for just a cleaning or for more serious work, the dentistry is gentle and pain free. I am happy to be a patient here!
Went in today for a abscess , they took me right away and as always handled my problem with care and professionalism. I have been to many dentist over the years and Beacon Dental is by far the best I have ever been to. Doctor Wang is the best dentist she explains everything and does her best to make sure things go smoothly and painlessly. Thank you for being there.
I have been going to this dental office for about a year now. I have 0 complaints. Family friendly. Whether it’s for a simple checkup or some major work, I felt comfortable and have never left uneasy. The doctors here are quite thorough and yet, it’s not overwhelming. Everyone else is so nice. Reasonable prices, clean facility, and plenty of parking. Best in town.
I go every 3 months for periodontal maintenance. I have seen a big improvement in my gum health and overall oral health. The hygienist is so kind and she is thorough in her cleanings. Would recommend!!!!

My Beacon Dental experience was excellent. The staff is very friendly and professional. You feel safe from the moment you walk in get a hand wipe and gloves. Dental Hygienist was wearing lots of protective gear and equipment is covered with plastic. I highly recommend this practice.
The Beacon Dental office is clean and nice. I was so impressed with the Facility, medical equipment, and Covid 19 Protocols. The Staff, front of house and back of house, are super careful Signing in Patients and providing Care. I was so grateful for Stephanie’s help: she contacted my insurance company and made sure I had this Office in my Plan. Everyone wears gloves and masks. And the Medical Team is incredibly well dressed with so much PPE. Extra fabrics, outer liners, grade A masks, face Shields, gloves, everything! Alexa was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She provided extra care & coordination during my Visit. Susan cleaned my Teeth! She was so thorough, caring, and informative. And Dr. Wang is also so professional and knowledgeable. Diana was also very encouraging and educated me about my visit, procedures to come/follow up visits! We all don’t really enjoy a Dentist Check up, but the extra Precautions, intelligent & hardworking Staff, clean facility, and kindness make this my new Dental Place. Grateful for Beacon Dental! This office has insured safety and cleanliness during the Covid pandemic. The staff is very nice, and I feel very comfortable when getting my teeth cleaned or feelings. Have yet to have a negative experience.

Walked in there for a cleaning, walked out with a list of surprise appointments and cavities. Thankfully, after reading some of the other reviews here, I decided to go get a second opinion that resulted in one follow up on one cavity, much more in line with my experience at every other dentist in my life. I feel like Beacon dental is trying to take as much advantage of their clients as they can possibly get away with.If you decide to go here and get a surprise diagnosis, get a second opinion first, and dont make the same mistake I did and put down a deposit on your next appointment like they pressure you to do.
I was charged for services not rendered. When questioned I was told I authorized charges for future services which I did not. I have sutures hanging from the top of my mouth. I am experiencing pain, discomfort and swelling over a week later. When I asked for an explanation of charges for the work I need to have it was explained in a way that seemed deliberately confusing. After making a post to the local website thru Facebook inquiring about Beacon Dental I received numerous responses. These are just 10 of the dozen responses. 1. I did not have a favorable experience. I am currently in the process of having a crown redone that never was right from them. I’m now having to pay out of pocket. They also wouldn’t stop harassing me for services, calls, texts, emails despite my asking them to stop. They seemed Covid safe in terms of hygiene. Overall, I just didn’t trust them beyond a cleaning. 2. Terrible experiences from both myself and my husband. The dentist started drilling immediately after giving me the novocaine. Obviously I wasnt numb at all. He wouldnt stop when I signaled him. They always tried to change my evening appts to the day. One day, they literally called me and told me they changed it without asking me 3. Dont go there!!! Horrible I dont know how they are still open. I reported them to insurance and board. 4. She just cares about billing and does unnecessary procedures. Go to Mountainview. They are great! 5. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Tried to do a ton of unnecessary work and procedures SCAM! 6. Dont go to beacon dental on Wolcott ave she is a money hungry con artist. Even if you have insurance she still will do dental that your insurance does not pay for and not tell you until your ready to leave them you have am amt due even though you have insurance. They are very sneaky. The only thing I give her is that she is good with her work. But a con artist be careful 7. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 8. Stay away from them. They love to scam people! 9. Coming from an ex employee- don’t do i 10. Don’t ever go there. It’s a money pit, unnecessary procedures and not very customer friendly. I like drs/dentist who Listen to me ONE STAR IS ONE STAR TOO MANY
Susan has taken care of my family for the past 4 years. She does a wonderful job keeping our teeth clean. She is kind and sweet and excellent at what she does.

I just moved here a few years ago and was looking for a dentist and always had a fear and anxiety but Dr. Wang put me at ease immediately and I cant say enough about her and the amazing hygienist, Maryanne! I had a wonderful experience at this place. I have been going here since I was 3, and I have had no complaints. Their staff is amazing, and always respectful and nice. I also had my braces on here. The orthodontist is awesome, he took great care of my teeth. All in all, I highly recommend this dental office, and recommend you come check it out
From the first visit I felt a solid trust with the people I interacted with at this office. Unlike previous dentists Ive dealt with, it felt more like my dental health was their priority and less like I was just a paycheck. I will definitely continue to make my appointments here for a long while.
I have been a patient of Beacon Dental for 3 years now and I am so impressed with the care my family and I have been given. From the friendly faces when I enter the office to sitting in the hygiene chair with our favorite hygienist Dana. Dana is exceptional for not only properly cleaning teeth but has a real passion for educating patients on proper hygiene and preventive medicine. Dr Wong is a real gem as she is so particular in making everyone smile the brightest and healthiest it can be all the while being gentle and calm to those that are “frightened” to be in the dentist chair. I highly recommend Beacon Dental for the full array of services they provide.

I find that they are very customer-oriented they care about the customer or the patient the labs are completely safe whem these days is what we wanted to be.I been going to them since they opened up and had a ton of work done to my teeth due to problems as I got older and they did a fantastic job they ask all the questions they double-check everything they do. They have contcontinuly retrained so we get nothing but the best care.
My first time at Beacon Dental Dr. Wang immediately addressed me about all the things that needed to be worked on. I didn’t even know I needed the front of my tooth filled. Although I needed it, all my previous dentist was doing was fillings. Dr. Wang addressed all different scopes of my mouth. The hygienists are very skilled as well. I highly recommend Beacon dental to whoever is looking to get great work done on their mouth.

I needed root canal. After looking through providers that take my insurance, I found Beacon Dental. Its close to my home and that was good too. Wonderful experience and there was an appointment available soon. Kind, professional and having state of the art in dental instruments is key. Dr. Wang and her team at Beacon Dental are the best! I’ve been a client for over 13 years. I live in Rockland county and drive all the way to Beacon to have my teeth taken care of by Dr. Wang and her staff.Since the pandemic hit, they are taking extra precautions to ensure their patients as well as their staff are safe.
Dr. Wang and her staff are excellent--friendly and always helpful. I have had a variety of dental problems that needed to be addressed, and I have been well cared for. My son is also receiving orthodontic care from Dr. Guan, and he is equally excellent. Very kind, and he understands kids.

The people in the reception area, finance office, and the Dentists and their Associates ate just wonderful people. They are very personable and makes you feel right at home and treats you like a person and not numbers. It doesnt matter which days of the week you visit them they are always happy and going above and beyond.That tells you a lot about the owners that they are taking good care of their employees and treats them like family- which is so important and almost extinct nowadays.I can truly feel comfortable visiting this office- Beacon Dental - My whole family loves them. How this place has close to 5 stars, I have no idea. I suppose this would make sense if you were told that you have a serious tooth problem and that Beacon Dental can fix it. How convenient! Please get a second opinion.I am 35 years old and have never had a cavity in my life. I went to this office in December and was told I had at least two cavities, but a few teeth on their way to developing cavities. I was also told that my gums were in poor health. My husband was told the same thing (except even more cavities).I made an appointment with another office in January and was told that I have no cavities.Beacon Dental called me a few months ago to schedule my 6-month appointment. I told the woman I spoke to about what had happened and that I wouldnt be returning. She seemed sympathetic.I got ANOTHER call last week asking me to schedule my appointment. At first I was confused; this same office couldnt possibly be calling me again. I thought it was the other office (that told me my teeth are fine) and I told the woman I would look at my calendar and call them back. Once I said that, she wouldnt really accept it and said that she really wanted to get me on their calendar. At that point I realized who it was and got pretty angry. I AGAIN explained what had happened at my first visit, told them I wasnt going to make an appointment, and to please stop calling me.Today I got an automated text from their office about my appointment.Beacon Dental: Im not sure if you read these reviews, but PLEASE STOP CONTACTING ME. Im not interested in your services, and more than that, I do not trust you.

Excellent, makes you feel really safe with all the cleaning procedures they have in place since the pandemic. They really pay good attention to your teeth which you would think is obvious but hey some places dont get into the nooks and crannies like this dentistry practice!
Me and my husband both seeing Dr. Wang since 2007 and we both had professional works done by Dr. Wang and her staffs. Dr. Wang is the only dentist my husband trust to work on his teeth. He has really sensitive teeth. We drive close to 45 minutes to see Dr. Wang thats how trustworthy she is and worth our time to travel this far. Highly recommended.
They always greet you with a smile! Friendly and pleasant environment. They present you with payment options that are affordable. We use them for regular dental maintenance and braces. They send out printouts of your recommended dental care, have evening and weekend hours and send out email/text reminders for the appointments.

My lastest work done has been getting adult braces by Dr. Guan, who is absolutely wonderful and changes lives one smile at a time. It’s been my favorite and most happiest experience ever. I can highly recommend Dr. Wang and everybody in her office -I’ve been going to her office for well over 10 years and I will continue to go even though I moved from Beacon to Hopewell. I saw Susan Espinosa at beacon dental she did my deep cleaning and teeth whitening. I am pleased to say she was so kind and gentle and the quality of her work was exceptional. The front staff like Eileen was so helpful with questions or concern regarding my insurance. I advised everyone who reads this to go there and see the wonderful changes Dr. Wang has done. I even went to 5th ave regarding my treatment and I am glad they turned me away because I’m extremely happy with the work Dr. Hongli Wang did. I will never go anywhere else.

It was always difficult for me to see a Dentist. I would procrastinate all the time and made 20 million excuses. I knew I had to go but hated the thought and sound of the drilling and going 10 times to get all that was needed to be done. One day, I passed by and saw Beacon Dental. I finally called and the staff was so sweet and pleasant. It made me feel good. The staff said don’t worry Dr. Wang will take care of you. She usually did. She worked on my entire mouth. She was patient with me and worked with my schedule. I trust Dr. Wang. She is committed to her patients and her work ethics are undeniable. I am seeing a lot of Dentist in my whole life. Some of them have fat fingers. Some of them did sloppy job. Some of them try to fool me. When Dr Wang did my first tooth, I knew she is the one.Dr. Wangs work is excellent. I also did the veneer in beacon dental, its expensive, but worth every penny. Good investment on yourself.Once my daughter had toothache, Dr. Wang was able to see her next day in the morning. I am really appreciated.Stuff there are friendly and professional. They tough me a lot about how to take care of my teeth. I do all my dental work there. I am highly recommended Beacon Dental.

Beacon dental’s Dr. H. Wang is a great dentist. I had two implants done with great results. I had a tooth pulled out with no complication. Replace few crowns and had few fillings done too. I go and get my teeth checked and cleaned every three months. I have more crowns that needs to be replaced, I will have them done at my schedule.No pressure from the dentist. Dentist I can recommend honestly.
Dr. Wang is thorough and polite, and the staff really tries to make sure youre comfortable. They are taking every precaution to protect patients from COVID-19, including patient screening, cleaning exam rooms after each patient, complimentary gloves, and solid PPE for staff. And they take most insurance
Beware - this office exaggerated the width of the spaces between my teeth in order to upcharge me nearly $300 for a “deep cleaning.” Their assessment didn’t seem right so I went to another doctor that confirmed my spaces are significantly smaller than this office reported. I was also told that I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled, but that was also untrue. The office seemed clean and everything else professional, but I highly advise you get a second opinion before spending too much money here.
This place is really great. The people here are so caring and nice! I personally have really bad teeth and they have helped to make my teeth so much healthier... they also are very sure that you don’t miss your appointments and will text you / follow up with any upcoming appointments you have or ones you need to make. I’m glad I go here and would recommend them to anyone.
Dr. Hongli Wang is a superb dentist. She takes great care with her patients and is a gifted practitioner. She is continually learning and employing new dental technology in her practice. And she hires talented, friendly and helpful staff. I recommend her highly. You will have a pleasant dental experience!

Virtually painless dentistry. Caring, empathetic and patient staff (both doctors and assistants). Knowledgeable and professional, yet an informal atmosphere that puts you immediately at ease. One of the most impressive things, is how ALL staff love what they do and are clearly happy to be there. Both Dr. Wang and Dr. Sendak make you feel as if you were their only patient while they work with you. Time efficient visits, almost no waiting time but once in the chair you never feel rushed.
Ive been negligent about going to the dentist and because of that, I eventually cracked a tooth. Beacon dental saw me immediately since an infection was present. Everyone there was so helpful and sympathetic to my situation. The receptionist was superb! Dr. Wang explained to the nth degree what needed to be done. The dental hygienist was also very informative. Ill let you know how everything turns out after my root canal tomorrow😲
I was told I needed an emergency root canal, prescribed an antibiotic, and that I had a bunch of cavities. Freaked out, I managed to get a quick second opinion, and they confirmed Beacon Dentals assessment was extreme and not accurate. A few other reviews have supported this, but please get a second opinion if you receive a surprising diagnosis here. Its not cool to scare people into getting extreme things done.
Dr. Wang is an absolute professional who takes her time to ensure your dental work is done correctly. Ive had cleanings, X-Rays, fillings, and a root canal done. Estefani is outstanding, and by far the sweetest woman Ive ever met. I moved out of state and unfortunately cant go here anymore, but sometimes I wonder if it would be worth the drive!
I have been going to Beacon Dental for years but this past visit i feel something has changed! The whole team used to seem caring and didn’t nickel & dime you! I needed a root canal I was told I needed to give $1000 up front before they would schedule an appt. when I questioned why I couldn’t pay 1/2 on visit and 1/2 on the next visit then I was told because I was a long time patient I could do it like that but still needed to put something down in order to book appt! As a doctor how can you even call that ethical? so if I came to your practice with an emergency if I didn’t have the money to pay it right then and there you send me home with an infected tooth? The whole dental game has become about making the most money when I was a child my mother had four kids she would take us all to the dentist and she was able to pay the dentist every month until her bill was paid off now days it just seems like a whole different ball game. And I have dental insurance Imagine the poor folks without it!
Everyone is very nice there and the seems to run at a very efficient pace. The doctors seem well trained and experienced and are also very friendly and patient. I feel like they have my best interest at heart when they are working with me.

I’ve been going to Beacon Dental since I was a teenager and if I’m not mistaken since they opened on Wolcott Ave. I never had a problem. All the staff members are very friendly and genuinely want to provide the best service and care for their patience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I am very happy at Beacon Dental, and go every 3 months for a cleaning. As a person who has had experiences with dentists that were very poor, I feel safe and taken care of at Beacon Dental. The staff is very nice and handles insurance issues well.While in the dentist chair, I am usually presented with an option that I can buy (water flosser, Invisaline, under gum cleaning, cancer screening). While people have felt that these efforts are too pushy and aligned towards insurance matches, my teeth need the extra attention and treatments, and it doesnt bother me (though I decline purchasing most of it).As with any dentist, I do ask questions during regular cleanings and am very aware of what they are doing in my mouth at all times. Personally, I have not had a long wait in the chair during procedures, but I know that others have.
I found this place after moving from the city. I can’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Wang, Yolanda, Diana. Just the most talented and kind and safe experience. Can not say enough good things. Better then a 5th Ave. dentist
I went here when I first moved to Beacon. Like another review said they are nice to you while they rip you off. I got a cavity filled that came out soon after and had to be redone. (Which by the way turned out not to be a cavity when I went to another dentist). I was repeatedly told I needed a deep cleaning that was extremely expensive, and then told I needed to pay for half up front if I wanted to make the appointment. I was called repeatedly for two years telling me I needed to come back even though I asked them not to call. If you want more proof look up some of the local dentist threads on the Beacon Facebook group.
Dental work is not my favorite thing and I get very anxious at even the thought. Dr. Wang is incredibly patient and thorough. She was even able to create a crown that pulled forward a front tooth of mine that has been behind the others since I was a teenager. Amazing!
The care I receive from Beacon Dental is ALWAYS top notch. They always have the time to see me and attend to my needs. If there is anything that the doctor sees that requires immediate attention, they are always able to adapt to me. It is very hard nowadays to find a doctor that cares that much about their patients!
I had the worst experience I have ever had at a dentists office. The employees at the front desk were friendly, but my appointment for a cleaning consisted of 50 minutes of the hygienist showing me pictures of my teeth and telling me how badly they needed to be cleaned (which is why I was there). I was told I needed a deep cleaning, and if I didnt get it I was going to start losing my teeth (I am in my 30s and have gone to the dentist regularly my whole life). A second opinion proved this was not true. The worst part is that I have been trying to obtain a copy of my records for 7 months and they refuse to give them to me. I have called and emailed several times and still have not received my own records. Yet, I frequently receive texts, emails, and letters telling me its time for my next appointment, even though Ive requested to be removed from these lists. I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy.
You HAVE to go to this magical wonderful amazing dental team to meet the very huggable Dr. Wang, Dr. Fassman, Victoria and Sasha GOGOGO!! I truly love how comfortable this group is working and joking so seamlessly with eachother. This is an especially calming environment if you get nervous at a dentist appointment like I do. I assumed Dr. Fassman had known the team forever, but he has started at this location only last year. This was very telling to me that I found not only a group of individually very skilled dentists, but also flipping awesome and easy to get along people.My first appointment was Monday for a regular cleaning- then Thursday for cavities- and tomorrow for impressions for a night guard! All in one week. Thanks guys!!! 💖

Though everyone seems very nice I only ever felt like a dollar sign and not a patient. I recently went there with severe pain in one of my wisdom teeth and the assured me there was nothing wrong. Over a month later and several trips to the doctor that thinking maybe I had sinus issues I went to another dentist who told me it had a cavity and couldnt believe it was so easily dismissed by Beacon Dental. I have gone to Beacon dental for years and now Im wondering how much time Ive wasted. Also, they ask you to pay half up front.. Dont be fooled into doing this. A reputable doctor will at least have you pay the day of. My advice to Dr Whang is to learn to treat your patients as patients and not cash cows.. Also she probably needs to treat her staff better because I never see the same person twice.Just to respond to below.. Im happy where Im going to now. Its more of Beacon Dentals Business practices that bother me. Though I was annoyed that I spent months in pain thinking I had a sinus infection that wouldnt go away. Getting my refund for my prepaid appointment I canceled seem to be a huge pain too. First I was told to call back the following week because the accounting dept was on vacation.. Then when I called back the next week I was told they would refund that day, and didnt do it. They are very nice.....while they rip you off. I have never had more than 4 cavities in my entire life. I go to this place, I have 12 in 1 year! and then then they tell me 6 months i still owe money after they said I was all paid off. I never was a great fan of surprises. My stepmother told me to watch out for them because they are all about the $. She was right.

A true dedicated professional, she is always willing to do whatever it takes to achieve a helpful and healthy outcome for her patients..Along with the wonderful staff involed in every aspect from billing, scheduling, advanced dentistry and hygiene, Beacon Dental has offered me a more than satisfactory and comprehensive dental experience. I speak from my happy results of 2 root canals, a bone graft, tooth extraction and several cleanings.

Beware they will charge you $30.00 for their PPE. While its a one time fee I was not told prior to my appointment. While increased cost of PPE is a cost of doing business be aware patients are being directly billed for it.
I had a lot of pain after having some fillings. Dr. Wong met me for an emergency appointment to address the problem, and even made herself available on a Sunday to make sure I got the care I needed.
They were very cautious and prepared. They wear gowns and are all geared up for everyone’s safety. Same experience and quality of work as before covid.
Ive been a patient of Dr. Wong since about the time she opened. Everyone always tells me how natural my crowns look, and the office always manages to accommodate me and my familys needs.

2021-10-28I used to HATE going to the dentist until I started going here and relieved my fear of dentists. Now I actually enjoy going to the dentist. My teeth always looks so beautiful and clean. The hygienist really pay attention to detail and care about your teeth, offering great advice and preventative care. They are all very friendly and the employees at least give off the impression that the work environment there is very relaxed and familial. This is the best dentist Ive been to by far. I used to pay out of pocket to go here, but now my current insurance covers it. So the fact Im willing to go out of network and spend my hard earned money shows how awesome this place is.

2021-06-24My husband and I have been patients at this office for a few years now. In fact, I’m a dental hygienist myself and, though I’ve never worked at this office, I ended up here because I wanted to find another hygienist to do my routine dental cleanings since I was the only hygienist at my office.The office has always been diligent to find appointments that accommodate us and work around our busy schedules. Susan is the only hygienist I have seen at Beacon Dental and that’s because I hit the jackpot getting her right from the start, at least that’s how I feel about it. She is very thorough but with a gentle touch and warm, uplifting demeanor. I’m working in a different office now that has other hygienists but I continue to come see Susan because I appreciate the quality of care she provides as well as with Dr. Wang.This office is modern and beautiful but most importantly is very clean. I felt quite safe from the very beginning, then going through the COVID pandemic I witnessed the modifications the office made to prioritize the safety of the patients and their staff including barriers, dental equipment, check-in procedures and PPE that, as I hygienist, I frankly don’t see with every office.Dr. Wang and her son, if I remember correctly, handmade several gowns for her assistants and hygienists so when they returned to practice after the pandemic shutdown they were covered very well (better than what you can find from dental suppliers in my opinion). Im actually a little envious our office can’t get these! Suffice it to say she cares very much for the safety and well-being of her patients and her staff and it’s one of the many reasons I am happy here. I live an hour away, but I don’t mind the drive knowing that I’m getting the very best care. I highly recommend this office for my family and friends and it’s why I felt compelled to make this review and recommendation for others.
