Cool architecture. Nice mall surrounding the sculpture. We tool the stairs to the top and it was not too hard at all. Every level feels like its own dimension. Kids loved it. Food is average at best and from vendors. Good for families. Great photo opportunity. Not much more to it.
The architecture is just amazing. This place is surrounded by a lots of concrete and steel but still you feel kind of zen inside the vessel. The place is free to enter but need to register onli e a week ahead. This place always has crowd lining up. Best time to be is during the sun set when you can see amazing shades of red at the other end. There are good places around to eat and go hike the hilelane. Recommended if you are travelling New york.
New York’s unofficial Eiffel Tower- extremely high on cool factor and as an Instagrammable location. Get there with time so you can sign up online at kiosks for free tickets. We easily got tickets on a Saturday but they were for two hours later so we went to adjacent mall which didn’t look like a mall at all. Looked like a city of the future. The city also recently connected the center to the High Line so you can go from there to the Meatpacking district and Chelsea Market which makes for a beautiful day!
Same day booking from their app makes this trip worth it! They’ve got their logistics down, that’s for sure. Just a quick 30 minute wait and you’re normally ready to be queued in.Great walk! Next to the department store makes it really nice. They also have a Spanish market in the basement if you’re looking to pass the time with food and a cultural experience!Very windy up top, you can even check out folks at the Equinox hotel! If you have trouble walking up tons of stairs, they also have an elevator. Cheers.
The Vessel as they call it is amazing walking up and down all those steps its a great work of architecture they also have an elevator to go up to the top the workers are very friendly the tickets are free for now they may change that but its a great place to check out in NYC would like to see the observation deck when it opens
Amazing structure and worth to see. View from the inside the vessel bottom looking upwards gives nice ring like structure. I enjoyed this click. There is $0 entry ticket required, you can book in advance online and we also did online booking prior to our visit. There is a Subway station near by for commute. Crowd inside vessel is well managed and it doesnt get very crowded inside. We would have spent 1 hour time, climbing steps and clicking pictures at most levels.
My college went on a trip to NY! One of main events was going to the Hudson Yard. Due to thunder and lightning, we were unable to actually go inside The Vessel, but it was definitely gorgeous from the outside! And hey, cant complain- The Flash showed up and we went inside the mall instead to avoid the rain.
Its definitely a great place for tourist to come. I love the architecture and the greatest thinh is there is a mall near by with restaurants and clothing retailers. 7 line is definitely clutch, you can hop on this to transfer to any other stops you need to withing the city transit system.
Lovely view with a honey comb architecture next to a fantastic mall that offers a good food court on basement level. Theres also food trucks outside if youre looking for a quick snack and it has an entrance to the highline Park with incredible views that you must see. The easiest way to get here is thru the 7 train and get off in the last stop. Overall a great place to spend your afternoon and capture awesome pictures
I dont think those oblivious tourists whipping their phones out every second realize how much of the mathematical spectacule this is. Found it by surprise, and was happy to visit here for free. The perfect way to enjoy this park is to arrive the NYC via bus earlish morning, get a ticket, stop by for brunch long enough for your time stamp. There is an elevator for those in need. I wanted to but my ego killed my legs. RIP
The Vessel. A new architectural structure in Hudson Bay shopping area. Tickets to enter the structure are free but you have to request them early to get a preferred time slot. The area around it is very clean and there is an elevator for the handicapped. Theres a shopping mall, subway station, and raised greenery walk right nearby.
This is a beautiful park leading up to the Vessel and in Hudson Yards. It has a lot of seating, beautiful scenery, and a good amount of trees and plants. Its perfect to sit in if you need a break, and again has beautiful view points of the Vessel and other buildings around.
Poor Bella is spinning in her grave. After the millions in tax breaks to give millionaires and billionaires places to live, work and now laugh at the peasants, the park in her name is some trees, a water fountain, a couple of benches and a new entrance to the truncated subway.
I got to tell you this place is a Serene piece of heaven in the midst of a concrete jungle I spent 2 hours here waiting for my train to go home and it was so Serene and peaceful at night especially even with the construction going it was just perfect what a magnificent establishment on her private management I just hope our economy can recover because this place looks incredible even though they no longer have Neiman Marcus. But... Ugh so nice and Serene. Must go for a relax
Beyond my expectations! This structure is amazing. You can go early to find your free ticket for different times in the day. Prepare to count hundreds of steps. Very nice experience and perfect for incredible photos with the family. Kids will love the experience too. I simply loved it!
The vessel is an incredible architectural structure. Truly mesmerizing and awe inspiring. I loved how all the walkways intertwined and played together. Its set at the end of the high line which is also absolutely gorgeous. It was a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the walk and the buildings of New York City. Id recommend going if you have time. Its definitely not a must-see though.
Beautiful. Everything was absolutely breathtaking. You do need tickets to walk up it & you need to get them at least 2 weeks in advance. But even if you dont walk up and admire the views from up there, the park and surrounding area is still gorgeous & has great shops right across the street.
This is a new, not well-known place. When we went it wasnt crowded. Its a nice place for a leisure time. There are shops and food nearby, a good view of the Hudson and the new Vessel plus the highline is there nearby with more sculpture art.i enjoyed my time there, but it wasnt so special that I would go back again.
The park has a nice kids area discretely seperated from the other area which can have some shady characters handing around. There is a public bathroom, something you dont see too much and its kept quite clean and monitored for illegal activities. One Sunday, I watched as a user of some illicit drug was arrested after the park ranger called NYPD. Rangers who keep the park clean apparently can perform citizens arrest. Talk about a tough job. This park which honors a wonderful woman who represented NYC in numerous legislative bodies is the home of the new 7 train western terminal entrance. Be aware the elevators which drop you to 250 feet BELOW the surface of the Earth inherently have break downs ... So one of the two ways in and out can be limited in its ability to get you to the train and 9 times our if the ten.. it will be the seemingly forgotten 35st side that is troubled.Back to the park which is also the front yard to the honey comb thing (I forgot its name) that is the centerpiece to the public area in Hudson Yards. And while there is no fast food or sit down restaurants at this time, food trucks including pot-corn marijuana and other special NYC delights can be found around and on the 3 city block park. Seating is plenty but charging stations for a phone or laptop are not. A working outlet is a gift from almighty God. (Along with public bathrooms, finding a place to recharge electronics remain a hurculean task in NYC). And, no, there is no power outlet for the public in the bathroom either. Very nice place to sit and relax while exploring the newest neighborhood in Manhattan.
I really liked that place. One thing you should know: while the entrance is free of charge, you need a ticket and tickets are limited. So if you only come in the evening, they might be out of tickets. If possible, come in the morning and get a ticket for sunset! And take your camera for lots of pictures! And please leave the elevator for people who are unable to walk the stairs. If you can walk, do climb up yourself, its easier than it looks and helpful for everybody who needs the elevator :-)
Beautiful park, great to take pictures in. Definitely a spot to show off on Instagram. Pretty busy though, and while its free to go up the giant honeycomb, you have to wait for a certain time before you can use your free ticket. Great place to hang out when the sun is warm.
A nice / clean park with seating, fountains, greenery, birds, etc. Its not too crowded (yet) so it can be a pleasant place to clear your head during the day. Unfortunately for some it is a haven for smoking weed. Seriously, you cant go into this park without smelling or seeing people smoking. It almost seems like a weed destination. There are also an unusual amount of flies. Theyre everywhere and seem dead set on human consumption. Good park that could be better.
Apart from the massive amount of people during the day, its quite nice at night time if not more so. Great scenery for a romantic walk and the mall nearby is very clean. The whole venue is very clean. The area gives you a clean feeling that cant be found in many places in New York.
Nice little soot. Unfortunately, there is hardly any green space in this park. It is way more concrete than green. It doesnt provide much shelter from the busy and noisy streets. It is such a pity, as it could have been a little green Oasis among the glass and steel Giants.
Its a sight to see for sure but beyond that its not that great. You must reserve and pay ahead of time to WALK up and down the structure. No escalator or elevator for those who do get tired easily. It gets very crowded because its quite the big tourist attraction. The shopping center is nicer but just as crowded. As of current, the area is rather incomplete. Id suggest coming when things are finished.
Totally loved this park. Its not a childs play park, but relaxed adult picnic/ feed the birds park. I went there early afternoon. Plenty of seating with curvy wooden benches or metal chairs with full sized round tables. VERY CLEAN!!!! And super conveniently located just to the left of the exit escalator from subway 7, last stop (34th street). Quiet, relaxing stop for lunch. There were several food trucks near by, so can buy something, or brown bag it. Plenty of trash cans, & three guy cleaning n the park was doing a super great job keeping everything neat (trash cans werent overflowing, the way they are at some places, & no stay trash around). My new favorite lunch stop for NYC visits.
This is a nice place to walk. There is very little, other than the view of The Empire State building in the distance, that feels like NYC. You come out of the subway to a very modern designed space. One can enjoy the breeze coming off of the Hudson. Nice high end shopping and food possibilities. Walk the end of the Highline or climb the Vessel...its just not a traditional New York City experience.
Nice place, been walking by here often with my dogs so the location is somewhat peaceful and probably would be much better if there wasnt a massive construction going on nearby. For the time being, I recommend caution to visitors, even if far enough away from the massive construction sites; there is always the possibly of accidents.Otherwise, it is also close to Javis Center and other tourist locations in NYC.
The vessel was really nice. Beautiful views and a cool structure.U do need to book in advance but the highline park entrance is right there so u cud walk that while u wait for ur appt which is what we did, Or u can go into the mall which is beautiful too. U do have a window of an hour for ur appt so theres no pressure.
Totally awsome and fun place. the architecture is fantastic and the atmosphere is so modern and clean. lots of green spaces and so many upscale stores like Neimen Marcus and Yves Saint Laurent. my favorites. I highly recommend this for familys and dining is top notch. superb service and over all awsome experience. dont forget to experience the VESSEL. Worlds most gigantic interactive art exhibit in the world! a must see! Enjoy your day at this fabulous park. Just follow signs for Hudson yards
The views of the glass towers that were erected to commemorate the Twin Towers is just breathe taking! A mall, the Javit Center, park place for kids, tables and chairs for lunches with friends and restrooms, its just a place you want to be! Icing on this cake, conveniently located directly next to the 7 train (which connects you to pretty much every train), youll be enthralled by its marvel and beauty!
A great little park thats divided into 3 sections, 2 of which have an entrance to the 34 St-Hudson Yards Station(only 1 entrance is open). In the middle section of the park theres 3 large circular fountains where the water flows from the perimeter of the fountains to the center. Theres also SO much seating everywhere, some of which lights up at night. You cant have a park without lots of plants, and this park has tons of it all of which look fantastic. (Also water fountains to drink). Its a very relaxing park so give it a visit if youre in the area.
This isnt really a park so dont go there expecting that. Its really just the area you can walk through to get to the shopping center. Im not really sure what the object in the middle of it all is (its shown in the photo here) but at night it lights up and looks pretty cool so its worth snapping a picture of.
First time to the vessel. Had a great time, loads of walking the stairs throughout the structure (there is an elevator for the disabled). You will need a ticket to enter and if ordered far enough in advance, theyre free but timed. Flex tickets, where you can enter at anytime during the day, are $10/person. This was a great option for my family so we didnt feel rushed and tied down by a time restraint. The Hi Line is near by, so we walked from West 14th streetto the vessel. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, so there were lots of people throughout both places.Bring comfortable shoes, preferably sneakers, if you plan to do all 8 floors.Once at the top, there are views of the hudson river, the train yard as well as other buildings in the area. There is a mall across from the vessel with various stores and Neiman Marcus as the anchor.Walked through the mall as well.Found a lovely respite on the 3rd level ( down the hall from Shake shack - which was packed as usual) its called 3den (Eden). For $6/person, you can relax in their space for 30mins, use their facilities (nice and clean), get some water, coffee, tea and even bring your food in from the outside and eat there. It was a nice place just to catch your breath from the walking. We had a great time and will go again soon.
This Park is relaxing and energizing. I love the senrenity and tranquility of this Park. My team and I go here for picnic and meet-ups. Its also a perfect spot to meet singles and tourists. This is also a great place for you If youre a professional photographer or looking to take some medel photo sessions. I also love the designer outlets inside the 30 Hudson Yard.#FamilyFriendly #Tourist #NYC #GreatView #LetsGuide #LocalGuide
What a gem! Steps from the spectacle of Hudson Yards, Javits Center, and the egg, this little series of pocket parks that travels across 34th Street has a large soothing fountain, new playground, chairs and tables, lots of greenery and flowers (including honeysuckles!), and public bathrooms! The park feels like its been here forever but also like its just been built. Enjoy this little park!
Its a new man made architectural marvel in Newyork. Truly amazing.but true fact is spending on this marvel is too much. But it will, sorry it had become one of the happening places in Newyork. Few more buildings and shopping malls are coming down to boost its visitors.Overall Good but the question is, after seeing people dying around the world for lack of water food and shelter, is this needed?.
Its a simple park with a small, enclosed play area for young children. There are rest rooms at 36th street and the 7 train will bring you directly to the park at 34th street. There is no food concession here although several food carts can be found near the 7 train entrance at 34th street.
Climb The Vessel or walk the Highline. Fantastic vistas of the Hudson. Sit, relax and enjoy the park...just a great way to spend the day.If shopping is on the agenda there a a plethora of shoppes and boutiques, high end and moderately priced favs like Sephora, H&M, Uniglo and more. Dining options are curbside and indoors ie: food trucks, hot dog carts and Citarella. A little something for everyone at this off the beaten path park.
It is okey just wear light clothing is hard way up and when you make it upstairs they tell you u cant used the elevator 🤦🏼♀️ the employee are like when u make upstairs come down in a elevator but when u make upstairs the guy is like nop u got walk down only people with disabilities I was like whatttttttt is like 9 floor up and now I cant go down on elevator sorry . I had to walk again down exhausted... 🤦🏼♀️

2021-11-26Very nice park with pretty fountains! Loved the big red apple outside the park. Walked through the park to the vessel. Would’ve loved to see the inside of “The Vessel” since it looks like such an architectural masterpiece from the outside but unfortunately for us it was not open.

2022-07-03The park is quiet and beautiful. A place to rest from the busy city sounds and large crowds. The park is well lit, but like anything in New York City once dark enough the rats came out. To many to feel confortable sitting there.

2022-06-07Love this little park. Discovered it during the pandemic. My daughter loves it. The climbing rope obstacle is pretty cool, very few like it in the city.

2021-04-09Nice park and theres a great view in 3 directions. The parks big feature, the Oculus looked super cool, but was closed- on a nice april day. So Im not sure how often its open. Its located, obviously, next to the Javitz Center. Not a bad place to chill out on a break during any convention

2021-04-18This is a nice clean park. I took pictures with Kong Kong and walked around with my son. Its a nice place to relax. Vendors also provided food for a fee if you get hungry. Recommended for everyone looking for a nice park.

2020-12-18Very picturesque! The citys just gotta help all the homeless gathered in the cold and stop just ignoring them. But my 19 year old cat, Audrey, LOVES the park! A lot of people come to pet her and take her picture!

2019-07-22Amazing architecture. First time being here. And i loved the amazing puzzle of how they build this place. Just amazing. I had a big smile looking at this piece of art.Walked all the way up. It has 8 floors as you may count it. I can see the Hudson River and the tall building around it just made the place really cool. Also, a shopping center next to it, if you love shopping and food to buy.Free entrance NO FEE. Just be there early to get a ticket and time you will be entering the place. The line gets long really quick. The place open until 10pm is the last time to enter.
