Scammers went today for simple 10k gold ring with simple custom request and this dude told me 1,200. I went out the shop to the other jeweler directly across on the other end to the left and did the same request for 260. Be smart look around.

I gave this guy a large down payment On a bracelet just before the quarantine happened In March I would pick it up when the bracelet came in and pay off the rest. Now that’s a fact that I have been played because this guy has been avoiding all of my calls my text messages to his personal phone and trying toGet over on me it’s not right and he is trying not to sell me my jewelry that I gave my money for I will pay a visit down there next week and if so I will take legal action. It is wrong to play with peoples money like that this guy is a crook and a scam artist be careful when dealing with him. He took my money before the quarantine and now that it’s lifted he is trying to avoid me.

Benny is the best out there I know my wife been going to purchase jewelry from him ever since and he is such a kindhearted reputable gentleman. From my experience he has refunded us money if we dont like something. Please go to him we love him he is the best out there to purchase nice diamond pieces or if you need help he is always there!!!

Okay, so I bought a used Benny & co automatic movement watch from a shop and needed to have it fully polished and repaired as the watch was not keeping time. I first emailed the manufacturer (Benny&co) inquiring about repairs and if I can get a repair estimate. I had to bring in the watch to him for repair estimate which I did on Thursday 12/04/14, I figured, why bring the watch to a local watchmaker when I can go straight to the Manufacturer, I mean his watches carry his personal name on it. Was I ever so mistaken. I went in to pick up the watch on Thursday 12/18/14, after I was told it was “ready” by sales associate “Jonny” on Thursday 12/11/14. When the watch was handed to me by Jonny, I immediately noticed a large crumb behind the crystal sitting directly on the dial, I also noticed that every roman numeral time place was smudged/smeared with fingerprints as well as all over the new silver time hands!! On top of that, one of the numerals (roman number 1 time place) was totally missing!! I turned the watch over and noticed while looking through the exhibition back that the replaced movement was just there with a plain rotor and the “Benny & co.” factory name stamp that is supposed to be on the movments’ rotor is plain and missing the Mfr. name, the original had not been replaced. I was told by Benny himself that there will be a 30 minute wait and to come back, I went back in 45 mins and it still was not ready. Finally, I was given the watch, they did replace the rotor with the original and removed the crumb from behind the glass as well as replacing the # 1 numeral, but the damn thing STILL had smudges on every Numeral and on the silver time hands, as well as two clouded circular spots on the dial, when I asked Benny himself why this was not fixed, he said that maybe if the “watchmaker” tried to fix the smudges it may come out worse, WTF?? So I pay $380.00 for this mess?? Benny did cut a mere $30.00 off of the bill when I inquired, but i still have to take this to a real watchmaker/jeweler to have it professionally done right, meaning I will have to pay even more. By the way, later that night I wanted to change the time and pulled out the crown to do so and it detached from the watch!!!!!!!!!!!! The band was also put on upside down!!! This company as well as “watchmaker” clearly has zero pride in his work. I just simply took the watch, paid and left as if they could not get it right by now they never will. I needed to avoid any further steps on my behalf so I simply left with this shoddy work.I will NEVER buy another Benny Watch from him TRAX or Joe Rodeo or anyone carrying this brand of watch. This is my 8th Benny watch I own and my last………I also will let my jewelry purchasing peers know of this horrible repair experience and spread the word that they should not purchase from Benny or his 47th Street Diamond district associates here in NYC anymore….I am currently in a bbb dispute with these con artists and will update this review as needed. This is a horrible place to visit if you arent aware of or have prior knowledge of jewlwery they are extremely disthonest . I recently purchased wht I thought was a 2.5 carrot diamond piece for my chain and found it it was only less than half a carrot when igot it appraised. I took it back and was treated very rudely and refused a refund .
