Went for late lunch today. My husband said his Bens burger was ok. I had the back yard hotdog... it was terrible, it looked and tasted like it had been on the grill since early morning. It was shriveled up, burnt and hard and the roll was hard also. Apparently Readers Choice did not order a hotdog. The fries were pretty good though. We waited a while for our order but we werent in a big hurry. I did notice while we were waiting that I did not see any employees cleaning tables or filling and cleaning the condiment station.
Was very disappointed...Burger was cold like icebox cold and thinest burgers ever ...I felt like I was eating a lettuce tomato and pickle on a bun. French fries cold and wilted the chicken fingers they called Thai were made with plan old Buffalo sauce. Wouldnt go back!!
First time tonight....bens burger was really good..small patty but flavorful and perfect for me, fries were amazing on track with best i ever had, chicken fingers were a little bland and overcooked, place was packed but everyone was wearing masks, dessert was great, staff was on their phones but only during what little time they had between refilling straws, tending to filthy tables people left behind, attending to all customers so a break was not the worst esp since they are on the younger side and from what i saw during my dine in experience very hard working. I will say they had a hard time hearing customers through the glass. Advise for customers is to look on their FB page as not all menu items are listed on site and we missed out. Its great if you like that drive in food in a basket . We will def be back
Fantastic burgers! Theres a lot of love put into their food - and its executed just right. First time, tried the triple burger: great! Then I had to see what they could do with a quadruple. (see photo)Burger style is the thinner fresh patties, well done and juicy.Their special sauce is delicious. The buns are toasted just a tiny bit, and the soft yet spongy bread is prefect to hold up to even four juicy patties, without being thick and mealy.Totally hits the spot!
Service was extremely slow. We ordered at 5:45pm and didn’t get our food until 6:35pm. All we ordered were three burgers and fries. Other customers came after us and finished eating before we got our food. I actually thought we may have been forgotten about. When the food does come, it’s pretty good. Quick-service burger joint. Recommend getting a double burger as the single ones are probably only 3oz of meat.
I live nearby and everything I have had from Ben’s Fresh has been very very good! They feature Perry’s Ice Cream which is great. Their milkshakes, etc are first rate. I recently had a chicken sandwich (paid extra for cheese and bacon). It was served with lettuce tomato and their special Benny sauce. It was excellent, the chicken was moist and tasty. Fries were yummy!Tiny place and the wait is a little long, everything is made to order. You can call ahead to order, or sit outside/in your car. Tell them & the workers will bring out your food! Always yummy.
Stopped here for a quick lunch on the way to a camping trip. I knew nothing about the place, but was drawn in by the words burgers and chicken. I was not disappointed. Got a double bacon cheeseburger with fries. First of all, the fries were some of the best Ive ever had. Second, the bacon was amazing, crispy, thick, and succulent. Burger patties were thin and cooked just right. An excellent meal, and I will definitely be stopping again on my next trip up to the Catskills.
I bet you will have to share a small fry! Food is great, try the bacon mac and cheese fries! We got it without the bacon but shouldnt have done that! Friendly servers and prices are right on point, I think they won us over from the creamery! Texas toast grilled cheese was yummy and the milkshakes are to die for!
Very busy place. Average+ burger, enjoyed the potato roll & fried onions. Extremely generous portion of hand cut fries. Shake was average. Convenient location & clean. No real negatives to report. Definitely a step in the right direction towards Port Jervis revitalization. Will give them another try.
My friends and I came here on a day trip to the area and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I had my normal chicken tenders and fries, which were a little different than I expected (the fries were like ones at the beach) but it was still a good meal. My friends liked their burgers too. I also liked that this place had a coke freestyle machine and a variety of milkshake flavors for my friends that ordered them. Fried Oreos also slapped. Overall, great place and I cant wait to patronize it again.
It had been rated best hamburger, cannot understand why. The meal was disappointing except for the fries. It was an average burger at best. Had milkshake also and was good but not as good as a Red Robin. We had traveled over an hour because of the reviews. It was just a ice cream stand. Staff were very friendly, it was clean and nicely decorated also.
Nice place overall but The young girls are confused with NO leadership. I Ordered 4 items kids got there small Ice creams in cups quick then got banana boat 15 minutes later and my kids were crazy cause they were done with there food long time before I got the rest.they dont wear gloves even going from hott food to ice cream section. Much better if had music or turn the t.v on rather then adds.
We decided to give the place a try after reading an article about them having become a finalist for best burger in the state. Happy to say we werent disappointed! We took a look at the menu and went for double bacon cheeseburgers with a fried egg and the Benny sauce...yum! Also, being originally from NJ, we had to try the disco fries...another yum! And the fried cheesecake? Yum #3! Our son went for the bacon cheese dog...he gave it a thumbs up after practically inhaling it...lol. We will definitely be back! And on a side note, the staff seemed busy, but they were friendly and professional.
Absolutely phenomenal food and desserts, and the executive Chef Bobby is wonderful! Try their soup menu, he creates something new weekly and they’ve all been phenom. Plan to order early- they’re so good and so popular you’ll see a line down the block, and rightfully so! Try the Benny Burger, that Benny Sauce makes it!
We wanted to try the award winning burgers, so went on a Sunday. Kind of a mistake because it was crazy busy and the girls at the counter couldnt keep up. All 3 of our orders were wrong, but we just dealt with it. The burgers were good, not great. Very good fries. If we go back it will be during the week
Foods good but not worth the 45+ minute wait for literally anything. Ordered a burger and fries ahead of time on the phone (like 15 mins) and showed up and had to wait an additional 30 minutes in the store when theirs only like 3 other customers there. And this happens CONSISTENTLY. You need to update your kitchen assembly line or at least warn us its gonna be a 45+ minute wait so I can go somewhere else!
The girls behind the counter did not care. They were on their phones instead of helping customers. When I was standing at the counter I made eye contact with both and neither came over to help me. I have been here multiple times trying to give it a chance and every time they just don’t pay attention and the food takes forever. The only reason they got 2 stars is for the food which is good most of the time. It’s frustrating that it takes a restaurant 40 min to make food when there is only one other customer waiting for a meal.
Its awesome when you call & place an order and they say 20 to 30 minutes and your sitting inside staring into space 50 minutes laterUpdated, definitely an approvement, I called and it was obviously busy waited for 5 minutes for my order to be taken. Was told 45 minutes for it to be ready showed up in 50 and was right out the door. Thank you and the lobster dip was delicious.
After driving by many of times someone I was driving with said lets stop at Bens.I will reluctant but when we walked in and seen how nice and clean the place is, how helpful and polite the staff was I ordered thinking this might be good. The food came out and I was honestly impressed with it all, and will go back again for sure.Kick myself for not stopping in sooner, as there is not many good food choices in the area.
Ordered the two double Benny burgers and didn’t realize MW (the cashier) only charged us for singles until we got the receipt after it was paid for. She then spent the remainder of our wait time socializing with her boyfriend as her coworkers continued working and paying attention to customers. The food came out to us after about 25 minutes, our burgers were cold. I’m disappointed in this experience as I have not had it here before.
I didnt go here for a couple years after seeing them open because of the lack of cars ever in the parking lot. I noticed more and more cars over time so I finally had confidence in seeing turnover to give them a try. Great menu and decided on going the standard cheeseburger basket to get a gauge of comparison. My food came out fresh and hot. Aside the nice fresh meat burger,, the plentiful fries are outstanding with doneness and flavor. Clean inside is a plus. The Order staff is on the phone with alot of takeout Customers which was surprising to see. That says alot in case you dont see alot of cars in the lot. The prices are so reasonable for quality food that those who go to McDonalds, Wendys or Burger King are just punishing yourselves. Im a new fan of Bens and already made my 2nd visit to a place I originally thought wasnt going to make it. Dont be reluctant to try it like I did. Im sure you find something to your liking on their menu and youll find yourself returning too.
We have ate here twice. This past time I ordered their chicken tenders combo. The chicken tenders had zero seasoning and were a bit overcooked, I was expecting a signature blend of seasoning for the breading on the chicken. It literally tasted like they dipped the chicken breast tenderloin in egg and then dipped it in unseasoned bread crumbs out of a can. The fries were soggy. My daughter ordered the pepper jack burger, expensive to say the least. The burger patty looked like it was made from fresh but it was flattened out and small, the thickness can be compared to the burger patty of the cheeseburger from McDonalds, there was more bun than burger. The bun had an icy spot in the middle, I dont know if they forgot to toast it all the way or what. My other daughter ordered the plain hot dogs, the hot dogs were so overcooked that they came out shriveled. I will say that the cowboy mac and cheese was good and their bacon chicken wrap was good. We were so disappointed with the food that we decided to go down the road for desert and not even give their desert menu a try.
We arrived at Ben’s around 9:15 and ordered our food. The young girl asked if it was to go or eat in. We told her we were eating there. After about 25 mins, we are called up front to pick up our order which was packaged to go. No big deal, we packed up and left. The burgers where average on soggy lettuce. The fries had clearly been cooked several times, we’re hard and grease soaked.
Have to say for it being as busy as it was the staff was on point, service was great and all smiles. My only gripe was my macaroni and cheese was room temp, everything else was awsome, I will definitely go back when Im in the area. Awsome job by the staff, it was clean, organized,,, Id recommend it for sure. Kudos to all involved,,, Thank You !
Last time I got Bens I was told 15 min. 45 min later Im still waiting for my food just for them to realize it was sitting in the back the whole time. I asked for a refund and they didnt know how to put it back on my card. The time before that my buddy waited an hour for a cheese burger and fries. Mediocre food thats far too expensive, terrible wait times, and just an all around waste of money.Get a sub from Hess its not as greasy.
Im mildly obsessed with this place. The food is incredible (especially the fries) and their food is always consistently good too. Friendly staff, quick service and a wide selection of options to choose from. The ice cream is also amazing and they have a wide variety of ice cream cakes that you can get in slices or as an entire cake. Theres no excuse for purchasing Carvel cakes instead of supporting a great local business. Highly recommend!
Disappointed tonight, called in for a simple order of two milkshakes, waited 10 minutes, even though there were 5 or so people behind the counter doing nothing. They got the order wrong as well, I asked for a large or regular and they claimed that the milkshakes only come in one size. I must have been in some alternate universe all the other times I went there and was able to get a larger size.
Very disappointing . The burger was a minuscule childs size on an oversized soggy bun . The fries were a greasy mess that went to the crows . This was what they called a combo meal . I opted for the milkshake , which was an added charge of $3.00 . The shake rounded out my experience , being far more milk and farro less shake . All in all I came away with an unsatisfactory, unappetizing visit to this establishment. One I will Not be repeating . Sad !
Just had the chicken fajita combo and it was delicious. The fries were defiantly from scratch and were excellent and the wrap had a nice toasty outside and the chicken was nice and juicy inside. We were just recommended to this place and Iam glad we came. My daughter just had a burger with egg and she said it was great and a small ice cream was included which was a nice treat. We will be back when In the area.
Any Californians passing through: this is a great stop for a local glimmer of In-N-Out!!!Everything is fresh and made-to-order. The Benny sauce on the burgers is a slightly tangier version of In-N-Out’s secret sauce. The french fries and milkshakes are equally amazing - and put the red palm trees to the test.
This place was awesome. Its open till 11pm during the week and till midnight on the weekends, perfect for those late night snacks. Their Benny burger is 10x better than a Big Mac. The fries were top notch. We got the bacon mac and cheese fries and they were delicious. We also ordered the chicken strips, which are huge and plentiful. We ordered out most of the time but the dining room is modern and clean. The TV is usually playing childrens shows, so its family friendly. The staff is quick and helpful.Really an awesome burger joint.
Ok...so, I drove past Bens Fresh after looking at a cottage I wanted to buy on a nearby waterway...immediately turned car around because hunger pains were hitting hard! Boy was I glad I did!! Great food, ice cream, shakes...you name it! You gotta try Bens special sauce!! Yum! Its awesome!!
Tonight was the first time my boyfriend and I ordered food from them and it was truly delicious. I had the French onion burger on a pretzel bun, and my boyfriend had the southwestern cheesesteak wrap. It did take a little while but it was to be expected since it was dinner hour. We also got the funnel cake fries and deep fried oreos. Everything was worth the wait and will be returning customers! Staff were super nice too! Take a drive and order something. It is worth it!
Extremely poor customer service, i am shocked!I placed an order on the phone for a “strawberry milk shake”, assuming myself that as an ice cream/ milkshake place they would have hard ice cream standard shakes, otherwise they would ask the customer if it would be soft or hard ice cream, if there were options.I got the milkshake picked up and when it arrived at my house, for my surprise it was made with soft ice cream with a very artificial pink color.I called the place to ask what kind of ice cream they make their milkshakes and the woman told me soft and hard, so i asked her if they let their customers to know that there are those two options, and she said no, that the customer has to say it otherwise they will make soft.So i told her how I, as a new customer, was supposed to know that they had two options if they dont ask? And she simply said “this how it is, if you want a new milkshake we can make it to you but you gonna have to pay again.”I am just done with this place. I just moved to PJ a month ago and i have placed 5x order there. And just once it was accurate. The first time I ordered their salad with grilled chicken and the chicken was disgusting, with nerves and bones all shredded on the top of the very simple salad. If i knew i would just have used my own salad stuff from my refrigerator. Anyways. The second time I ordered the Philly cheesesteak wrap, and came really good. So I ordered it a second time and it came with almost nothing of meat and mostly only peppers and onions... really? The fourth time I ordered another Philly cheesesteak wrap and it arrived at my house as a combo, and i didnt order a combo( bc their fries are mushy) but i paid for a combo, and the person that picked up didn’t know it so fine. And now, the 5th time, the milkshake and attitude of the attendant on the phone when i addressed her the issue. They should be grateful for customers like me that still lose some time to let them know about their mistakes and give them the chance to make it right. Make it better.Well, they just lost a customer and all the other friends that have been ordering from there since i moved. Bc every time some friend would stop by we would order from Bens fresh bc the convenience of being so close to my house but now, everything changed with that terrible customer service.Ps: when i call there they just answer like “hello” and then you need to figure it out if yiu called the right number of a restaurant or just a random persons phone number. And this time when i said “is it from the ice cream place?” And i had one very dry “yes” like as if needed to know.Ohh boy, they need desperately a quality customer service training conference! Light years from serving well their customers.
Friendly counter service.....thats the only positiveJust ordered a backyard dog. Waited 15+ minutes for a room temp dog on an untoasted cold bun. $3.75. they werent that busy. Sign said wear mask so half of customers on line had them, half didnt. Didnt notice any gloves, I actually dont care...but I saw no hand washing even after maybe heD guy hung out, shook hands, hugged, snapped toddlers dirty face mask...Im not coming back.
Delivery took over an hour and a half & were 10 minutes away... milkshake was melted by the time it got to me wow. Everything was mediocre, and the burger patty is really small - ratio of burger to bun isnt good. Lettuce was wilted and brown. Coleslaw sucked. Wouldnt recommend.
Disappointed had a crispy chicken quesadilla ( no jalapeno) way too much cheese and no taste. My husband had chicken soup, good taste but served way too hot. We were warned but it was melting the spoon. He also had a Cheeseburger that was very good. If you are familiar with Steak N Shake it was like that, yummy!
Ice cream and shakes were ok, but it took about 20, maybe 25 minutes to get our order. It was around 845 on a Saturday and most orders seemed to be ice cream, not food. Not sure why it would take that long to pump twist soft serve into a cup and mix up 2 milkshakes. We were with another family who got scooped ice cream and the portions were unusually small. Not sure what was going on with the service, but its no fun to wrangle with kids for that long waiting on ice cream.
Not professional service. Would not bring my worst enemy here. Staff is untrained, unprofessional, and burger patties looks to be ran over and flattened before being served. Staff needs to get spend less time on cellphones and more time listening to the customers orders.PS: when your customer asks for NO PICKLE, usually it means they dont like pickle. So if you just take the pickle off and send it back out, people can tell.
I was so excited to try this place after following them on Facebook for months. I was skeptical of the negative reviews regarding terrible service but boy were they right. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 mins. I arrived in 30. Little did I know I’d be standing there waiting 30 mins. From the time I called it in to having the order in my hands it was over an hour, which is fine but don’t tell me it’s going to be ready in 20. For was alright but chicken fajita salad was not good. Chicken breast was thrown in whole and way overcooked. I will not be going back here.
Chicken soup was delicious it was slightly greasy but it was good none the less. Not that much chicken but I will forgive that with the flavor only one pack of crackers for an $3.00 16 oz soup (I bought two) with a lot of liquid. Could do better. Just being honest.4 for taste lost abstar for greasiness and lack of meet and only having one cracker package.
Food is a bit pricey the soft serve vanilla was really good tho I got the chicken ceaser wrap the chicken was very dry my husband got the chicken blt wrap it looked good my son got the hot dog meal fries are a bit soggy and my daughter got the cheese qusadilla she said it was okay
JUST ORDERED FROM THERE FOOD CAME AN HR LATE AND MY FRIES WERE COLD AS ICE AND MY CHEESEBURGER WAS THE SAME. FRIES HARD AS HELL AND BURNT SMDH. I CALLED BACK IMMEDIATELY THANKFULLY THEY SAID THE DELIVERY GUY WOULD GIVE US A NEW ORDER HOT AND GIVE BACK THE OLD ORDER… WOULD YOU KNOW ANOTHER 20 minutes same guy THIS TIME MY FRIES ARE ALL IN THE BAG AND FRIES SALTY 😞 WORST PLACE EVER. I PAID WITH MY CARD. PLEASE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN AND BUILD A KENNEDY CHICKEN SPOT
Went about 7 or 8 pm Friday night. Didnt look overly busy. There was a heat wave inside as well as out. Felt hotter inside.Tried their new offering chicken and waffles. BF had a burger. We both had fries and he had a shake. Had heard about the place online and the GM/chef bombards the pages I follow tirelessly (even though the page says no advertising).Setting the heat aside did not have a good experience. The girl who took our order asked if BF wanted whipped cream and cherry on his shake which we both said yes to. We take a table and he offers me a taste...no whipped cream no cherry. Had to go back up to get it and had to wait for someone to correct the order as she did something else while the shake melted on the back table. Ok maybe they need more help but wasnt happy with a melting shake. We had to wait 30 minutes for our order and it wasnt even hot!! My fries were rock hard. BF liked his fries but they werent dark and hard like mine. Should have taken a picture but pix were an afterthought.Chicken was ok nothing special but the waffles were awful. Cold and no crunch on the outside with fluffy inside was more like eating a sponge. There were two about the size of palm of my hand and two small chicken fingers. There was a side of watery white stuff with the pancake syrup but dont know what it was. Had no taste. In my opinion not worth the time or money. Dont know what the hype is all about. Ill stick with Jakes Wayback burgers, The General Stores chicken and The Creamery ice cream. I know what I like and this is not it. Didnt say anything while we were there because Ive seen on line GM/chef doesnt take criticism well. Didnt want a scene.
I ordered a burger meal on the phone and fried oreros. Meal came with no fries and no drink for almost $15. I had to pay an additional $6 to just get fries. Over $21 for a meal at a burger place is outrageous. I would not recommend. Burger is also on the small side. I would recommend trying another restaurant down the road with more reasonable prices for a burger than this place.Ill raise from 1 star to 2 stars. Food quality is very good.
Oh man, you would never expect a place like this in Port Jervis. Seriously, one of the best burgers you can get in the 845. The fries are awesome, the chicken tenders, also awesome, super clean establishment, and attentive staff. To top it all off, its very affordable. The same meal in Newburgh would be almost double what I paid. I really hope the people of Port know what the have with this place.
I usually have their chicken fingers and fries, really good. Their lactose free milkshakes are great! But I just stopped in for a lactose free ice cream with Oreos first off, the vanilla lactose free ice cream tastes watery, really weird being that the lactose free milkshake is so good and It seems like the young lady who tended to me didn’t care much about presentation, I’m not sure if I can share a photo but my ice cream literally had 9 pieces of Oreo piled on the side..... although I waited longer than I should for a couple of scoops of ice cream that I am completely unsatisfied with, I really do like Bens Fresh and wish them the best.
Stopped at this place on our way back to Brooklyn. We were hoping to find a gem in Port Jervis. So disappointed. I ordered the chilli cheese fries. They added melted cheese & shredded cheese. There was so much cheese you could hardly taste the unseasoned chilli. The fries were soggy and soupy instantly. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders. This batter had no taste. Bland and the chicken was dry.The chicken sandwich was basically tenders in a burger bun. Just as bland as the rest. There is a sign inside that says Voted Best Burger in Orange CountyI wonder if thats the only thing they season.
The food here is really fantastic, but the customer service is becoming increasingly terrible. I came in with my daughter and granddaughter and witnessed the counter person with dark curly hair and glasses be very rude to the ambulance people coming to get their dinner. Their ambulance was parked outside. These people looked tired and Im sure were hungry but still smiled and treated everyone else, including myself, so nicely. Everything they asked for seemed to be an annoyance to this girl and her comments were rude and sarcastic. The one ambulance driver asked for a side of sauce and this girl first told her it was 50 cents extra, then when she tried to give her the 50 cents to pay for it, the counter person told her I dont feel like ringing that in so forget it, but next time you need to order it earlier and walked away. There were several things like that. Its not the first time Ive seen this attitude. Ive lived in Port Jervis for over 40 years and have given this and other local restaurants my business purposely to help our city thrive. Our ambulance drivers work hard to take care of us and deserve us to take care of them too. Other establishments offer them discounts. Why is Bens only offering them disrespect? This was very disheartening.
Friendly service, great food, and very reasonable prices. Nice to see a fast-casual place in PJ. Burgers are tasty, chicken tenders are big and juicy, and the wraps are out of this world. To top it off, the fresh cut fries cant be beat. Also serve a nice array of ice cream treats. Only complaint is that they dont have additional dipping sauces for the chicken besides Benny sauce (which is like Thousand Island) and country gravy. January 2018 Update: they now have additional dipping sauces available for the chicken tenders - bbq, honey mustard, and buffalo. Also, they gave our daughter a free ice cream! Not sure if this is an everyday thing, but it is much appreciated. Love Bens even more!
Stopped by for a take-out to eat on the road. Saw and got the creamy chicken chowder and a hotdog. The chowder soup was most excellent. plenty of stuff - carrot, tender shreds of chicken, onions, corn. a delicious blend of veg. but not starchy. I wish I ordered more for my home microwave. The grilled hot dog was also very good. plain, not embellished with a side mela of chili, etc. Good hot dog. Next time I will ordered the hamburger. Seems like a local favorite. I will make this regular stop when I head this way again.
Decided to pop in for takeout on a road trip and boy do I regret that. The two young girls working this evening need to be retrained, as do the BOH staff who were incessantly shouting the entire time I waited. Also, no pickle means no pickle. It meant no pickle the first time and second time I asked, so Im not sure why someone thought it was okay to just send out the same sandwich, soaked in pickle juice. Especially since the young lady specified that it would be thrown out. Not a good way to save money! I wish in my 12 years of hospitality service I was lucky enough to work at a job that lets me sit and scroll social media as I get paid to be generally apathetic towards paying customers.
Stopped in Bens Fresh in Port Jervis for lunch. It is a cut above normal fast food. It was well prepared and tasty. You order at the counter and your order is brought to your table. It is reasonably priced. My grandkids had the Perrys ice cream which they loved. Give it a try if you are in the area.
I usually never leave reviews, but this is the 3rd time I have ordered delivery from Ben’s and was left incredibly disappointed and hungry. It took an hour and a half to deliver, and when it got here, it was missing parts of the order. I waited another 45 minutes before I decided to drive over to the restaurant to get the salad dressing for my completely cold dinner.
Awkward wait when you first walk in. No queue line setup, just a bunch of folks staring at you. Food is ordered at the counter and then its up to God if you get your order in the order it was received. Milk shakes to these people mean soft serve ice cream partially melted in a cup. Burgers are frozen patties warmed up in a skillet or microwave. They allegedly claimed the Hudson valley best burger award in 2015 -- must have changed since then. High school cafeteria slop served at a much higher rate at this place.Do yourself a favor and go down 209 to Wendys of McDonalds and call it a day.
Good food at a good price. The down side is almost every time I order for delivery I am missing part of my order and is usually cold, I order often and it is getting old. You also got to pay attention for pickup as well, I have been missing some of my order then as well.
Neat and clean with a friendly staff. But just not the best burgers. The patties are thin and unseasoned. We asked for mayo and mustard, there was so much we couldnt hold the sandwich together without everything slipping out the bottom. My hands were covered in mayo and mustard. We probably used 15 napkins to clean up the mess. Its my 2nd visit but should be my last.
The ice cream is always good. They would get 5 stars if they ditched all of their single-use items. From their soup to their ice cream, single-use plastics and papers are used throughout their food. Get the panda paws ice cream and you will be very satisfied with your late-night ice cream outings.
Sloooooow! 3 cups and 1 sundae took an HOUR! There were at least 5 people working in there, but it was as if they had to go milk the cow, churn the cream, freeze it, and then serve it to us. The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is at least the ice cream was tasty, but not worth an hour. Next time, Ill just stop by the grocery store and pick up a few pints.
Where do I begin. Took 11 minutes for girl to take order over phone. When she read it back to check for accuracy it was not. Was told 30-40 minutes for delivery it took almost 2 hours. Burgers were nothing like their advertisement which looked fresh and hand patted they were definitely prepressed. Dog Combo didn’t have correct condiments. Ask for Dr Peppers no ice not sure what we got they were so watered down. Maybe it was an off night IDK but don’t think we’ll be back
Dont know why everyone thinks this place is so great went there today through out my burger and fries. Fries were greasy and soggy and cooked in old oil. Hamburger was completely tasteless and very very thin. All was way overpriced for what it was! Would NEVER go back. Better deal at mcdonalds and i HATE mcdonalds...this place us worse. Much worse!

2022-05-22When you walk into this place mass confusion reigns. You order up front and they either bring your food or you come and get it, depending on what I dont know. People are yelling across the room and kids are standing everywhere waiting for take out. The employees are all doing at least 3 things at once. The girl who helped us was on the phone taking an order. She had to stop to put out cups for ketchup, then had to go back because the ketchup was empty. So it took a while to get our food but not an excessive amount of time. The portions are ridiculously large. One order of fries is enough for 2, even 3 people. The food is good. I dont like the idea of chicken finger sandwiches because the chicken is constantly falling out. Sandwiches huge, but needed more sauce IMO. French fries tasty but not crisp enough. The gimmick here is adding pasta to wraps. Not sure if Im a fan of it but its not a bad idea.I recommend giving it a try but not if you plan a quiet conversation.

2022-03-14My son has been here a few times and we decided to meet him halfway between our respective houses. There was a large selection of food options and specials. My wife enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich and I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. I also opted to have a soup and that two was excellent. Our son and daughter in law loved their burgers too. I also opted to have a milk shake, and it was very good. The order takers too our orders and brought the food to our table. Even bringing out the birthday cake Ice cream to help celebrate my wifes birthday. The service provided was greatly appreciated.

2022-01-31Food is fresh and high quality. Perrys Ice Cream is natural and rich. Benny Burger is better than any national chain. Chicken strips are large. French fries and onion rings are cooked in peanut oil. They are fresh also; not frozen. Soups are homemade and tasty.

2022-03-26No clue how anyone could rate this place lower than a 5PLUS! The food was AMAZING! Has something for everyone. Which was nice since I’m a vegetarian. Not to diet, not because I want to be, because my body is a jerk! I want YUMMY delicious food and this was delicious! The others that were with us are meat eaters and were amazed how delicious. First time here was 3 months ago. 1.5 hr away. We WILL be back today!!!!

2022-04-04Speedy service, good food. They have a few vegetarian plates. Been there a few times with our geocaching group. Most meals are under $10 but its hard to resist ice cream after. A small ice cream is four scoops!

2022-06-23Ordered lunch today. My burger was amazing but the fries were 100000% the worst fries I have ever had & the portion of fries was very small. Also, I’ve noticed Unless it’s a positive review, you’ll get an incredibly rude response. I’m not sure who takes care of responding to the reviews on here but WOW, I pray it’s not the owner & if it is very very bad form. If it’s an employee please fire them. Talk about unprofessional. Not every single review is going to be a raving one, sometimes you have to take criticism & improve. They say some of the negative reviews are fake, report it & keep it moving. Attacking them on your business reviews page makes you look bad period.

2022-04-05I will only say, Ben’s food is very well made. The head chef does an outstanding job and the line chefs and other workers in the kitchen do a great job producing fresh and tasty food to all of the customers. That being said, there is a major disconnect and loss in quality between the kitchen workers and servers and counter girls. Customer service is abysmal, and often times the girls at the counter will be on their phones or ignore customers, leaving them to stand in line at the restaurant for long periods of time with no service. When calling ahead to order there it is almost a certainty that you will be placed on hold for upwards of 20 minutes only to be hung up on (the counter girls are in charge of this as well). I often think of the story of an old teacher who had called ahead to order bens, was placed on old for 45 minutes and then drove to the establishment to find a dining room void of diners and counter girls on their phones. Assuming you can get decent service at Ben’s, that will ensure a great (though pricy) meal, and this quality in food is sadly tarnished by the lack of professionalism and customer service. It all leads to a highly variable experience.

2022-06-29Our first time getting a meal. Food is great. The young girls taking your order could be a bit more friendly and helpful. Otherwise great burger.
