Saw COMPANY here July 30. Absolutely fantastic show! The theatre is lovely. As others have mentioned, the seats are a bit tight, but even as a larger woman I was comfortable. The only issue was the ushers - one in particular. Most were firm and helpful, but there was one woman who was simply awful. I watched her scream at an older gentleman who didnt understand how she wanted him to lineup for the restroom. She then overheard me mention to a friend that I would meet her in the back after the show and she started shaking her head, saying, No, no, no! Excuse me? I didnt ask you! She was generally walking around fussing at people. Really? I understand the need for crowd control and moving people along, but dont be rude. Other than being shocked by her over the top behavior, great evening.
The revival of Company is innovative in so many ways. From the gender swap of many characters, including the main protagonist, to the lyric and dialogue updates for a modern audience, to the incredible set pieces that amaze and also add to the storytelling. I was originally excited to see Patti Lupone, but as wonderful as she is there are many standout performers! A must see in NYC. Photo is Orchestra Row C Seat 108.
Watched COMPANY here.Theater:It is of Broadways great theaters.Seated on the right end of of ROW O in the orchestra and still had a full view of the stage. Id say the layout is good.Show:Company was great, while there were no songs that stuck to me, It gave me good laughs. The set design was very good, this is something really worth watching.
Saw COMPANY, which was a great show and production. The theatre was very easy to enter and the staff was quick and efficient at checking IDs and tickets. Some notes:Seats in Mezzanine were very tight with little leg room. All 6 in our party of various shapes and heights noted they were uncomfortable. There is no elevator. One in our party had limited mobility and the stairs were difficult. The restrooms were on the basement floor, which meant two flights down from the Mezzanine. This was Impossible for some of our party. Also, as with all theatres, there were extremely long bathroom lines at intermission. One person in our party did not make it back before the 15minute intermission was over.Show was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The theatre itself was not great. I would not return to the Mezzanine seats of this theatre unless it was an unmissable production.
Decent theater where you can see the stage from everywhere. It isnt too large, so it makes the shows feel intimate. My one issue is that the rows are close together, so there isnt a ton of foot room. By the time we hit intermission, I just needed to stand and stretch my legs so that they wouldnt cramp up!
Saw the matinee of Company yesterday and loved it! The seats are comfy, the temperature was perhaps a little chilly, but comfortable as long as I wore my flannel. Theres not a lot of legroom, but thats pretty standard for any Broadway theatre. I was sitting in the orchestra and the view was perfect.
Watched The Ferryman play at this theater. We sat in side orchestra 5th row from front. Was slightly partial view but the seats were comfortable and view was great. Theater is very central. Came back to watch Company with Katrina Lenk and Patti Lupone and had a blast. Was in row G side orchestra with an excellent view.
Was here yesterday with my wife and after the show was waiting for the merchandise stand and was basically rushed out of the theatre before we could purchase anything. The show was great, no complaints there, of course. We wanted to pick up a couple of keepsakes from seeing the show and that couldn’t happen. Very disappointed. The three stars are not reflective of COMPANY, or the cast, all of which were phenomenal and deserved all of the acclaim and accolades.
I had a seat in the mezzanine. My legs are only 32 in. I was in complete agony after 20 minutes my left leg radiated from my knee to my ankle with pain. When I got up during intermission there was an indentation in my leg from the seat in front of me. I left it into mission. I have been going to the theater for 50 years and I have never encountered session uncomfortable seat in my entire life. The worst. Avoid at all cost.
I loved Company, but the theater is about as cramped as Bobbies apartment. I am not a particularly tall man--510 if I stand up straight, but I may as well have been a giant in a mezzanine seat where I had to tuck my legs under the chair and take an Aleve afterward to quell the lingering pain in my knee. I have no idea how tall people do it.
Tonight I saw Company at this theater. The lead tonight was played by the understudy.Overall, I thought the show was FLAT. The timing seemed off. The cast missing many comedic moments due to bad timing.Patti LuPone was the saving grace of the night. Her version of Ladies Who Lunch was the show stopper! With the change in gender of the lead character (male in the original production - female in this one), the credibility of some of the songs now being sung by men just didnt cut it.
This is the Sondheim blessed, reimagined Company. Gender flipped and updated dialogue.Excellent production.Patti Lupone’s voice is still strong.I didn’t know that “Marry Me A Little” had been added to end the First Act in the 1990s and every revival since. Why? Absolutely unnecessary when “Being Alive” wraps the show.
Fabulous venue! The team here was great. Really efficient entry/vaccine check process. Inside, the staff was super helpful and worked hard to ensure things ran smoothly. Extra props to the team member who was organizing the bathroom lines at intermission. In a small space like this, that goes a long way! The rows are a little tightly packed together, so tall folks be aware when you’re choosing your seat.
Attended a play called Betrayal at this theatre on Saturday (Oct 26). It is located on 45th between Broadway and 8th. It is a lovely well lit theatre, carpeted throughout. Also, it is clean. There is an available bar, and ushers at every entrance. Every seat is plush. I had a good view of the stage. There are observant ushers at every row. Cell phones are not allowed to be used during performances. Be sure not to bring outside food. However, you can enter with a sealed thermos. Staff are helpful and friendly. Restrooms are accessible on the lower level via stairs near the main entrance.
WOW!!! WHAT A SHOW!!! fast break to restroom as soon as show ends to avoid a looooong line... FOR GUYS!! For ladies... I can only imagine it would be worse. If too late... GO TO IRON BAR - NO COVER (walk out n turn left walking to the end of the block n youre there. 2min+/-ETA).
Lovely setting for a good time, seats are comfortable enough and optimal viewing and listening. Stage lighting and set up is good. Not problems with access. The merch and drink bar on the landing is exceedingly crowded and at intermission was impossible and should be handled better.
This is a lovely theatre. Came here to see Bandstand in 2017 and since it’s smaller it feels very intimate. We were seated at the very back of the orchestra and still had a great view of the stage. Seats were comfortable for my 6’3” partner unlike other theatres in the city.
Came here to see Betrayal on Broadway, which was absolutely fantastic. I bought my ticket so I could avoid paying the processing fees had I done it online, and was on the left hand side of the theatre right after you go through bag check. The view was the second row middle mezzanine was awesome. It had a nice view of the stage and you could clearly see what’s going on. The theatre was pretty intimate. The seats were a bit uncomfortable and stiff backed, with little leg room. However it’s pretty and the whole experience of being there was great.
They respectfully ensure that the audience have their mask on during the show, which is prob why this is one of the very few theaters still operating this month. I sat in the backside of the orchestra. The scale of the theater is just good enough to see the stage well.
Seats on the sides have only partial view. The only toilets are downstairs, but it’s a middle size theatre so it wasn’t too bad.The staff was nice and funny. When we were lining up for Tom Hiddleston , the security guard said (with gesture demos), “no kissing no hugging.”A fan lost her playbill, which was already signed by all three actors of Betrayal, in the crowd. One of the security guard took out a playbill, asked Tom to sign it, and gave it to her.
Nice, older décor but, the seat legroom is horrible, Had to sit in a very tight seat, with my knees scrunched in up to my gills. You think airline seats are tight? Here is something new for you to try.I wouldnt recommend if you have leg issues, or like comfort in general. Completely packed show, however, even in these times. Vaccine cards are mandatory, however. The show, however, may very well make it worth the pain.
This is a beautiful theatre. Small and intimate, At the entranceway to the right and down the stairs was a large womens bathroom. Which was quite nice. Allowed to freshen up from standing outside all night.I was there to see Betrayal. This is an amazing play and has a very limited run. So, if you can make it go. And yes, I have a huge crush on Tom Hiddleston, oh sigh. There is a little bar at the back, with souveneer cups. Though, I wasnt going to risk needing to use the restroom or accidentally spilling my drink like I did on the airplane. (Thankfully that was just water.)The view from Orchestra seats was amazing! The architecture inside a classic. Truely a beautiful place to see an intense and beautifully done play.
Saw the iceman cometh in Broadway featuring Denzel Washington. The sound in the theater is not as strong compared to others, so the actors have to really put there lungs to good use, and it might not be so wise to sit in the back of the theater. The lighting I also not that bright so to get really good pictures you need to sit up front.
I Love NY.... I am a lover of the arts. Whats not to love. The beautiful alfresco ceilings a step back in time while watching one of the most talented hardworking actors around. Not to mention he still is sooo easy on the eyes... A lovely way to spend a Monday evening!
We went to Jacobs Theatre to watch Bandstand. The venue was relatively nice. It had that very classic theater look. My only gripes are 1) there is very little leg space so my knees were sore after a while and 2) concessions cost an arm and a leg. A water and a small soda? $15! Absolutely ridiculous.
The ushers were all very friendly and helpful. The theater was very accessible for my rolling walker. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the seats were and that there was enough room to stretch out my legs in a normal row.We saw the play Betrayal. It had the audience captivated. Ive never attended a play where the entire audience was so quiet for the full duration.
Great seats made our visit a good one. Brain down steep steps behind a curtain not the best idea, but bathroom flow was easy add they offered plenty of stalls. Staff was excellent and very friendly even though crowd was a bit dim concerning the show. The Ferryman was excellent show even without Paddy C., who wed expected to see. Was a solid experience even if we had to wait 30 minutes outside before seating opened.
The overarching theme of the experience was ”feeling crammed”:- huge line to get in- no lobby space within the theater- no real coat check- uncomfortable seats (at least in the mezzanine)The play was pretty good though, just keep all of the above in mind if you do go there.
Seats seem larger, more comfortable and with a bit more legroom than other theatres. Staff makes an effort to be helpful and courteous while working under alot of pressure and a small number of non-cooperative patrons. The theatre itself is attractive, clean and comfortably air cooled.
I took my husband to see The Iceman Cometh as a Fathers Day gift. He was elated!!! The theater was in the midst of everything! We parked right around the corner (using a discount coupon). An hour before the show started I picked up the tickets from will call without a line or inconvenience. We then walked to the corner and got a yummy quick bite from a local eatery. One inside the theater the staff was friendly and helpful. The seating was spacious enough to not bang my knees on the seat in front of me. My seat was perfect and I could hear and see the entire show without interruption. Great venue for a terrific show.
Betrayal was amazing. The cast really does a great job on delivery. The theater is super cozy. Considering that we were sitting in what was considered a partial view we had a decent view of the stage. The crew was very friendly as well. One of if not the best theater experience Ive had.
I thought the theater was very nicely maintained, and getting in was a breeze. Definitely recommend printing your tickets ahead of time if you can - then you can go through the sort line at the door on the right instead of going all the way through the will call line.We saw The Ferryman, which was INCREDIBLE. If you are able to see it while it is still here I definitely recommend it! The entire cast was great, and the plot only got thicker! One note, the seats on the mezzanine are a little cramped for leg room, if that makes a difference for you. They have plenty of intermissions though to stretch your legs.
Very nice theater, lady that showed us to our seat was very nice to us. The Color Purple stage play was phenomenal! The bathrooms were okay, not the best, it was a little different to have to reach for the paper towels after washing hands. They need to update their bathroom a bit. Seats were kinda tight as other people commented.
Beautiful decor! Saw Betrayal starring Tom Hiddleston here. Super comfortable seats, not too hot or too cold. Only problem I can think of is that the on-stage action isnt always visible from the left or right Orchestra seats. Although, thats to be expected and almost not worth complaining about... Otherwise, its great! Also, if theres any theatre nerds reading this, I would actually reccomend sitting in the left orchestra because its right next to the exit so you can get to the stage door quicker.... Youre welcome in advance.
We saw The Ferryman the last week of its run. The play was great, however the theater could improve a few things. First, they need to make an announcement reminding people to turn off their phones, and you wont have at least 5 phones going off throughout the play. Seems like most theaters do this, not sure why they dont here. Also they need to do a better job at preventing people from bringing in outside food. People sitting behind us were eating chips loudly during the performance. Bags need to be searched for this stuff.
Loved watching Betrayal there. The seats were comfortable. Ended up having a seizure aura during the play though. They rushed me downstairs and were quick to get me safe and comfortable before I started seizing. They gave me water and let me finish the play downstairs before they rushed me out before the lobby became crowded. Also, I would like to thank the Manager, Heidi, for being so kind and courteous to me. For helping me out and letting my friend and I stay for the rest of the play. I appreciate her and her staff immensely.
The seating chart makes it look like a huge theater. Its actually not. Even the worst seats have good views of the stage. Thats the positive part.On the other hand, as a 64 man, sitting next to a large woman, I was quite cramped. There is insufficient room in those seats to expect someone to sit through a three-hour play.
We sat on Row I in the middle...OMG! The seats were great! This theater was beautiful and well organized. The only thing is the bathroom lines were SUPER long - need to add another bathroom. Other than that, I like this theater. The seats were comfortable, not too snugged. Im 53, weigh 173lbs, I had 5 stilettos on..I was very comfortable!
I do not recommend seeing Betrayal. My wife and I had dinner before the show. We had 2 pots of green tea. When we got to the theater we were told if you use the bathroom, you will not be allowed back to your seat. Plus we were told “Security” was enforcing the rules. Somehow that does not seem right, especially considering how much we paid for tickets.
I saw Betrayal on Saturday, August 17 and loved it. The theater was gorgeous, the seats comfortable and there were no obstructions at all. Of course all the actors were superb especially Tom Hiddleston. Wish I could see it several more times but I live in the midwest.
The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre had several glorious names through it history. It was formerly called the Royale Theatre and the John Golden Theatre. It was opened on January 11, 1927. It is close – by some Broadway icons like Theatre Masque, the Majestic, and the Lincoln Hotel, it has a capacity of 1,101. On May 9, 2005, it was renamed for longtime Shubert Organization president Bernard B. Jacobs. It has seen quite the shows through the years – Betrayal, The Ferryman, The Iceman Cometh, Bandstand, The Color Purple, and Its Only a Play. The final show pre – pandemic was Stephen Sondheim’s masterpiece Company. The show’s topic is popular today more than ever. The original production was nominated for a record-setting 14 Tony Awards, and won six.The current run is the show’s third revival on Broadway, and tells the story of the womanizer Robert – a well-liked man who enjoys his bachelor status way too much. The story follows the life of his married friends, as well as his love life. It also pays some attention to his girlfriend. The topic is up to date with the current time because many young people prefer to stay single so they can enjoy life but also struggle because of loneliness.
I went last year with a group of 5 to see The Color Purple. The theater was beautiful and the audio was great. The place is kind of small (like every place else in downtown N.Y. ) but theres not a bad seat in the house. My only complaint was we ended up waiting outside in the rain 30-40 mins for the doors to open. 😐😐 Once we got inside, it was all worth it.
My overall experience was great. My daughter and I visited during the summer of 2018 for her birthday. The seats were comfortable and provided a good view of the stage. We saw IceMan Cometh and the actors made our visit an enjoyable experience. We were especially grateful to see Denzel Washingtons live performance.
It was really nice to see the performance Once here. The music and acoustics were phenomenal. I was privileged to get Rush tickets for a reduced cost although I did have to stand in line very early in the morning. The drinks, if you got doubles, were in a nice plastic cup with a lid that I have had for years and have come in very handy. Yes, the price was not cheap but the cups are great!
My friend and I went to Jacobs theater to watch the performance of Betrayal on 11/26/2019 at 7 PM. The play was magnificent! Mr. Hiddelston, Mr. Cox and Ms. Ashton did a wonderful job! Sadly my friemd who is prone to seizures had a seizure during the show. Betrayal had at least 25 minutes left. The staff got her downstairs quickly and they acted sufficiently. They made sure she was okay and when she came out of the seizure, they let us finish the play by watching it on a television with headsets since we werent going to be able to stay an extra day. They had offered to let us come back to see it afain but we had to leave to be with our families for Thanksgiving. After the play was over, they led us out of the theater quickly before the crowd exited. I highly recommend tgis theater! The staff was amazing!!! We also were in the 3rd row on the right in the Orchestra pit. Great view of the cast!!!
Although it is a gorgeous and comfortable theater, there is one particular usher, whom soured my taste. Although I understand that cell phone use is not allowed, she was over-the-top, rude in stressing this fact. I was scared to shut off my phone because she might think I was being unruly. Very snarky and rude woman - she was approximately 50 or 60, had dyed blonde/dirty blonde hair with bangs. I was on my night out, did not need to feel that way! Others around me were not happy either.
We ordered our tickets online, only in town for three days and wanted to be sure to see a play. We paid quite a price for for a play that was mediocre. Betrayal. What made it even worse was this. My husband is blind and we were told that the theater had a secondary audio unit that he would be able to listen to during the play. The unit that they gave him did not work. I couldnt really explain to him the visual parts because the folks around us wouldnt have been pleased to hear our whispers and we certainly couldnt get up and go back to the lobby as that would have disturbed others as well. We probably wouldnt have been allowed to leave our seats and come back anyway.
This is an Incredible theater see some of the best Shows and Plays that New York City has to offer. The place is clean the stafe is very nice and helpful they are as professional and the people on stage. If your going to a show and its in this theater your going to have a Amazing time they got everything in hand
Thank God I dont have childbearing hips. The seats here are very narrow. Im also glad the seat next to me was empty or else I would have been crammed shoulder to shoulder with my seat mates. I watched in fascination as a big dude a few rows in front of me gathered himself and his coat together in order to squeeze into his seat like reverse Jenga. The staff is good about warning people to turn off their phones. I love my phone too, Im writing this review on it, but when you cant sit still and be inside your own head for 5 mins. without compulsively pulling out your phone... admit that you have a problem.I was seated in Orchestra Row L Seat 10. $40 Rush tickets FTW! There were A LOT of empty seats to my right. I guess those seat filling companies arent doing well because this was a big name show. Well, Charlie Cox will always be a big deal to me.Speaking of Charlie Cox, the stage door set up and managing was some of the best Ive ever seen. I wasnt anywhere near the front but this woman with long arms sent up my playbills for Mr. Cox to sign. He signed them both, including my 3 year old Incognito playbill (I reviewed that show too. Charlie Cox always breaks my heart). But the most impressive stage door performance was from Tom Hiddleston. He signed everything. The woman who prepped the line before they came out warned that there would be no selfies... Hiddleston made her into a liar and took every single selfie. Every. Single. One. Hiddleston was the MVP of the stage door.Other than the width of the seats, its a comfortable theater with great sight lines, great sound, and a well run stage door.
All good except that, as with all these old theaters, making your way to the restrooms and / or the bar through narrow, super crowded, passageways doesnt make for great experience. Apart from the experience aspect, I wonder if the safety standards are truly adequate...That said, it is no worse than most theaters in the district.
I was there to see the Iceman Cometh starring Denzel Washington is the cast of many other people that are well-known the staff is very friendly and courteous. The theater was clean and the seats were comfortable. Say whats 3 + intermissions, two of which for 10 minutes long and the other was brief, therefore I never got out to see if they had a concession stand. I would visit the theater again.
Came here to see The Color Purple. Ushers here are all very friendly, and the theater itself is beautiful. Bar and bathroom are in the basement, so prepare for traffic jams during intermission. Seats are on the smaller side (very tight leg rooms). Layout is open, so you can get a good view of the stage from practically any seat in the house.
The Ferryman is a great play but the playhouse was terribly organized. We, along with hundred of other patrons, had to line up all the way around the corner on to 8th Ave and trudge for 30 minutes before getting in. Disorganized, poor communication, upset patrons - this is no way to run a theatre. I paid 250 per ticket and got treated like a nobody. Wake up or lose your audience.
As noted by several other reviews the theatre is plagued by horribly rude and obnoxious staff. I witness the theatre manager belittle and elderly man waiting for his wife who was in the restroom. She called 4 security guards to get his name and remove him from the theatre. Straight up abuse of money paying patrons! The problem with the staff starts at the top.
The show was great, but the pricing at the bar is beyond predatory. I’m used to New York pricing. But this is just ridiculous. We got two whiskeys and two waters at the bar for $66. Seriously. It’s just disgusting to take advantage of people like that. They should be ashamed.
We saw Denzel Washington in The Iceman Cometh and it was amazing. We sat in the balcony seats and at 54 and my short legs felt very cramped, so if you are tall, I would go for an aisle seat! There is no photography or video allowed in the theater,( I found this out after taking a photo of my playbill and an empty stage). It keeps people from causing a distraction, but I am not someone who would use my phone during the performance.
The show Betrayal was amazing but when it came to meeting the cast, the security kept adding more barriers to everyone that was waiting to get an autograph/photo with the cast and didnt let anyone in, even though we all had our tickets, and the security was a bit rude to us when we tried asking a question.
Great place, affordable but beautiful! Kitchenette in rooms, free breakfast in the morning, salt water pool, very clean. Nice bar, called the Station, a business center in the lobby to print out all those event tickets you buy online, and friendly, helpful stafff were soo accomodating. Doesnt hurt that its a few steps from the PATH train to Manhattan, $ 2.75 and youre right on w33rd st., 6 blocks from Times square, around the block from the Empire State Building. A great alternative to overpaying for a noisy, beat up broom closet of a hotel room in Manhattan. Great affordable weekend getaway.
Ranchero sauce a disgrace, made me nauseous, waitress was arrogant, rude and could not complete the order. Wanted French fries instead of hash browns, she brought both and said I ordered a side. I said it is ok. Then she brought a plate and had me scrape the hash browns on the plate so I would not eat both. Ordered my daughter a choc chip pancake with whip cream, undercooked and no whip cream. Asked again for whip cream and she said, you never said that but I will get it, no problem. This has never before happened here. Total disgrace.

2022-07-22Went to see Company, which was a great show. Incredible cast and very creative set design and writing. We sat in the first row of the mezzanine, in the third and fourth seats from the aisle . The legroom was a little tight. I had to shift around during the show to be comfortable. The view was very good even from the far side. I was able to see most of the acting except for a few scenes in the cubicles that the actors perform in. But I didnt feel I was missing anything important to the plot from that angle.

2022-07-07This was a great show at a good theatre. I saw Company, the revival, with a friend. Our seats werent together, but the ushers found two seats that were unoccupied and together, so that we could sit together. This was very nice of them.Something important to note: plan accordingly if you are big and/or tall, as the seats are very close together, and your knees will be at the seat in front of you, making for a slightly uncomfortable evening.Luckily the show you will see is (most likely) amazing and will distract you from the whole seating thing.

2022-01-29We visited this Theater to see the Broadway Show called COMPANY. It is a must see show, it will make you laugh from beginning to end, great performers and beautiful voices. This one I would say is more for adults, it has parts that maybe young kids should not see or hear. Over all, it is incredible!!! I got amazing seats as a gift from my boss, and I could not be more thankful!Parking: I parked on the side of the street on 45th just down the street. I arrived at 5:30pm and waited until 6:00pm since parking at night is only from 6:00pm - midnight and it cost us $25. So we only walked one block to the theater.

2022-06-30The theater, while beautiful looking, is not a great venue. For a taller person like me, seats were uncomfortable. Only one bathroom location, and staff were like drill sergeants during intermission. I also don’t know why anyone would buy a drink here - I saw two guys get yelled at to put their masks back up. It didn’t really feel like we were treated as guests, more equivalent to middle school children on a field trip.As for Company, I struggle what to write. The actors/actresses and set design were excellent. I enjoyed the moving components of it all. The plot though just felt repetitive, the main character’s friends toxic, and the conclusion flat. I wouldn’t see it again.

2022-07-17What a great house staff! All the ushers are so friendly as were the people scanning tickets.I was particularly impressed with the young man who was at the entrance before the show and at the stage door afterwards. He obviously had a lot of responsibility as he wss carrying a 2 way radio. He was so considerate of the patrons while ensuring the safety of the cast. Much different than other Broadway houses where the audience is often treated as a nuisance

2022-07-19COMPANY the RevivalI was always a fan of the score, but I never thought very much of the show until I saw this production. I was very skeptical about the gender swap, but I think they pulled it off very well. Bobbi is a much better character as a woman! Katrina nailed it. Comfortable theater seating. Its a must see show before the end of July 2022 as its closing, and its marking the end of Patti LuPones illustrious and remarkable career. I just couldnt believe that I got to see the end of an iconic show, which was elevated ever more by the fond farewell of Patti LuPones last Broadway run. A 2-4-1 show. What more can you possibly ask for in a Broadway show?

2022-06-30Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre was a good experience. The theater is well kept but the seats could be improved with a little more padding. This is a good theatre to enjoy that Broadway experience. Get out and see a show.

2022-07-21Aside from the wonderful show we saw at this theater, I must highlight how wonderful the staff is at this venue. In the middle of the second act of company, my companion had a medical emergency. The ushers were quick to calmly react, and Heidi, the manager, was beyond helpful in arranging for my friend to get some air. After a few cold compresses applied to the forehead, Heidi, our queen, offered for us to go back into the theater to catch Patti Lupone sing “Ladies who Lunch”. While we missed the end of the show…Did Bobbie end up settling down with someone nice?….we can’t thank the stage of the BBJ Theatre enough for their kindness during an otherwise untoward event.

2022-02-12Nice staff, great views for almost everyone who isnt in a box (those will miss half the stage). Restroom situation is a nightmare - trust me just stop drinking well prior, you will be glad. One single stall handicap accessible bathroom kept under guarded lock.... all others in the basement and not near enough. They had lines wrapped 3 times for men all the way up to the first level, and the women was even longer. The mezzanine seats are small and packed tight. Anyone over 6ft will have their knees jammed in the seat in front of you, and their head will constantly hit your knee. Just plan ahead.

2021-12-25The show was great; we saw Company! Here are some pro tips.- The mens room is stage right. If you are looking to get to the restroom quickly, use the stairs in the back of the theatre on that side. Go all the way down. If you are on the mezzanine level, this is extra important. (An ADA/gender-neutral bathroom is located on the orchestra level near the entrance, under the stairs.)- There is a bar on the lowest level that is usually not as busy as the orchestra-level bar. This is a good place to refill during intermission.
