THIS PLACE HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, ONE THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE I LITERALLY CALLED 6 TIMES AND STILL NOTHING.I FEEL LIKE THEY TALK MORE TO EACH OTHER THEN THEY DO TO PEOPLE WHO WALK IN AND GET FOOD, THE ONLY LADY WITH SHORT PEPPERISH CURLY HAIR IS JUST RUDE AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. IF I COULD THEY GET -5 STARS. THIS ISNT A 1 STAR SERVICE, GOOGLE REQUIRED ME TO PUT A STAR, I FEEL AS IF GOOGLE IS HELPING THEM OUT HERE WITH THE STAR. GET SOME NEW WORKERS AND MAYBE THE BUSINESS WILL BE BETTER. AND DEFINITELY FIRE THE LADY.

Horrible service, lady that took my order put my order in a dirty bag where they were writing order. Got my order just to put it in the garbage waste of money and got it because I had paid for itNever ever going back there again
This place is disgusting. I used to love it but all the food seems old and honestly the place is dirty and they will use the same gloves to make your food as the gloves they touch the money with. Gross and rude, the owner has terrible customer service and I had to pay for a replacement of my meal. Dont go here

The bagels have always been delicious and fresh and a really nice size bagel. My only complaint is that even when picking up an order that was already called in I still have to wait on a line to pick up and pay. They should have a separate line just for order pickups.
They literally have the best bagels around. I love going to this deli on my way to work every morning. I either get an egg sandwich with turkey bacon on a everything egg bagel or everything egg bagel toasted with butter. They make it the best!!! Highly recommend
Worst experience ever, order breakfast sandwiches with home fries and they are out of home fries and offered hash browns no problem, get my order home and they are literally inedible, call the store to tell them and their answer to me was sorry you didn’t enjoy it, didn’t offer to give a credit or exchange for something else, don’t go here nasty service 03-01-2022, Rather go to Joel’s Bagel at least customer service is with a big welcome and smile
I am standing in store at this moment and waiting for my food and ready to walk out. One of the elder gentlemen who works here is so unbelievably rude. He has blatantly rolled his eyes at 2 different customers and scolded 2 others for not coming up fast enough for their food when he called them. On top of that, he has told me and 2 other customers how he has run out 3 main things: mushrooms, poppy bagels (this is an all day bagel store) and containers to put my omelette in. It’s on a paper plate loosely covered with parchment paper. Totally turned off to this place. Never coming back
This really is the best bagels around if you come at the right time you get fresh out of the oven bagels warm and soft, even if you come later the bagels are still amazing, they make a good breakfast sandwich if that’s what you’re looking for and they even have good coffee. Staff is always nice and helpful.
Terrible food and service! Scrambled Eggs With Bacon and Fries had no bacon in it despite paying extra for bacon. Hungry Man Sandwich was served with old turkey. Manager, or whomever answered the phone when my husband called to complain, did not seem to care. This was our first and last time purchasing anything from this place.

Im highly disappointed, I used to like this place and was soo happy that they finally opened a Bagel shop close to my house. Up until 2 weeks ago when I ordered a sandwich the clerk sold me a sandwich with NO MAYO! A DRY SANDWICH! It wasnt until I got in my car that I noticed and when I confronted him about it he told me they forgot to order mayo! POOR customer service there he shouldve told me before making the transaction! Your better off making your own sandwiches at home !
Great bagels, awful service. Went today, no line but a steady flow. I ordered a BEC. Two gentlemen take the bagel into the back. 10 minutes and 4 other sandwiches to 3 other people (that came after me) get run up. When I ask the guy about my sandwich I get attitude and was told no one took my order. I guess it was the ghosr standing next to me when I was the only one in the store.

I am very disappointed with the way they handle issues. I waited 15-20 minutes for my order and went home with my food. I ordered whole wheat toast with mashed avocado with eggs over medium on top. When i got home, the bread was not toasted, the avocado was brown( not sure why they would give a customer bruised avocado like that), and the eggs were fried and sloppily thrown to the side (not on my sandwich).I called them to let them know that i was dissatisfied and that i cant eat that (as its disgusting and not made correctly) the gentleman asked if i wanted to pick up a new one but i declined as i didnt want to waste more time going back and forth. He said “ok then” so i responded “so i just wasted my money on it then? Because now i have to make my own breakfast when i just bought breakfast from you”. His response was “i guess so” with a laugh and hung up.I have previously gone here plenty of time as it was my go to breakfast spot but after this situation i am very turned off. Im not sure that i will be retuning anytime soon. They could have offered me a credit back or something! Not even an apology that he made it wrong.. very dissatisfied and disappointed!
Terrible service, the staff is miserable and rude, one star because for that reason alone I’ll never be back. In 30 degree weather with the line out the door I was told to go to the back of the line to pick up my order that I called in 20 mins prior that was sitting on the counter with my name on it. What kind of customer service is that ? What sense does it make for me to stand outside in the cold while my food is on the counter getting cold. Supervisor said “they’re doing the best they can”, we’ll sir you need to do better, because a blind man can see this is a terrible way to operate!!!!
Pros: Good egg sandwiches and bagels; close to home. Cons: They get my order wrong a lot; take foreverrrrr to pick up the phone; the girl that usually answers the phone sounds miserable; the pancakes have gotten smaller as time goes on; the line is always super long. It would be better if they had a separate pick-up line, but their setup doesnt really allow for that.
Best Breakfast Around. Sometime last year back I came by this place just eat something quick. Little did I know the food was gonna be that good. I live 30 minutes away but if I ever have to come out by this area, this is the spot to go to. Highly recommend it. My wife loves it and shes picky. 😃

Had to change my review because Ive had a lot of bad experiences with this place. I have mixed feelings. Its really not hard to make a decent sandwich when the ingredients are already laid out for you, so how is it that the quality of my order varies? Some days i order and get a sandwich thats got a good amount of items in it, other times it seems like they cut corners and put the absolute bare minimum in it. That makes it hard for me to want to come back. Also some employees are rude while most are nice and likeable. I like the food, i just wish some employees were approachable and that the quality of the sandwich would stay the same no matter who makes it.
Yo Im a fan. the chick behind the counter is cool af and isnt pushy or loud like well... everyone else. its refreshing. good food and prices, this is a good bet.
The bagels are good, I wouldnt say best more like local. Its a busy place partly because its a great location and a bagel shop was needed. I cant understand why a bagel with cream cheese has enough on it for 3 more bagels. Why something as simple as a toasted bagel lightly buttered is near impossible to get. They would save so much money if they gave healthy portions of butter/cream cheese, not to mention keeping customers healthy and alive.Tuna on a roll, Please add celery that adds flavor. The celery used does not carry a strong flavor. Without celery it has nothing, no taste. Mix tuna more, putting shredded lettuce and not washed onions doesnt add flavor. Heros, its a talent you either have it or you dont. Sorry they dont. The one guy does make an amazing hero, hardly ever gets what I ask for right but all in all he puts it together well.They all seem very nice but Im not looking for a friend when ordering food that Im paying for. Im funny when I pay for something, I just like it to be what I want.They lost so much business from my family because they just dont get the orders correct.Listen to your customers when they order. We used to go everyday, now if we go its a couple times a month and only to get bagels and we prepare them at home. You have to respect the preparation and the outcome of what you bring to the table otherwise your just another bagel shop. Sorry guys this review was long time coming. I tried to be patient but all these issues are purely lack of concern on your part.

* SLOWEST BAGELS AROUNDI called in an order for 2 bagels with cream cheese hello that’s basic, and it took them over an hour to be ready. I went there and still had to wait another 20 mins. Why have the option to call in orders if I can go out to to grocery store buy my own bagel and toast and make it myself. And when I was waiting I noticed my order was sitting in the bag the whole time. Do they have idiots working for them?! Finally I got them took them home and they were no longer toasted just soggy and gross. This place sucks.
Great bagels and sandwiches terrible customer service, they tell you if you pay by phone you dont have to wait in line but then told when you arrive, that you need to wait like everyone else. If I wanted to wait in a 20 min line I wouldnt call ahead.
Ordered home fries and they came doused in nasty hot sauce. They don’t carry kaiser rolls. Either understaffed or incompetent, staff is rude (not to me but I saw an attitude out of two counter girls towards customers) and I say incompetent because they can’t seem to make a simple deli sandwich right the first time. On top of all that, they take forever to make your food. Generously gave 1 star because at least the place looks clean and they use 🐗 meat.Edit: wish I could add a photo to this review. The genius cook, after dousing home fries with hot sauce, decided to put the bread for the deli sandwich on the grill on top apparently without cleaning the grill because my turkey blt has hot sauce all over it. Disgusting. I take my clean comment back.

I called ahead of time for egg sandwiches was told it would be 20 mins, i get there after 20mins and the line was out the door so I walk up to the counter tell them i ordered ahead of time and was told i had to STILL had to wait at the end of the line. Kid at the counter was super rude. Wont be going here again, no point in calling in ahead of time for cold food.
Say what you will but definitely some of the freshest bagels Ive tried in Suffolk. People need to stop moaning about service, they work hard and always get the order right. If you dont like it go to Starbucks where Enrique and Shaquesha can get your name right but not your order.
Sandwiches are always fresh they treat you as a customer and the employee name. Marie is always smiling and always says have a nice day and come again in and out less then 3 minutes over all everything is perfect
Went in for my regular 2 egg sandwiches, they were just OK! Cheese everywhere and the rolls always hard. It was like being in a hot box standing against that wall for what felt like half an hour but was in reality about 12 mins (which is still too long but it’s ALWAYS a wait at this place) Way under staffed but it’s not their fault but they should be a little nicer to their paying customers. I only go for the convenience but after today I’ll take the trip down Horseblock to Old Dock Deli👋🏼
Wanted a bagel sandwich for breakfast. Ordered bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Normally, that would mean bacon, egg, cheese, and bagel. But this place slathered both sides of the bagel with a slimy, cloying, chunky sauce. The sauce was sweet and gross and turned the bagel to mush. No where on menu does this awful sauce get mentioned. Who puts sauce on a bagel? Couldnt even finish the sandwich. So disgusting. Worst bagel of my life. I am gagging as I recall trying to eat this bagel abomination.
So this morning my husband went to get bagels from “Best Bagels Around” in Medford. They’re definitely not the “best” bagels! Long story short, after realizing they were stale, seemed like they were from yesterday, he decided to bring them back. Not only did the cashier with a major attitude argue with him that they were fresh, insisted that she was in charge and refused to let him speak to the manager or owner, finally gives him his money back, shoe flies him out of the store and yells out “goodbye” several times. No apology or anything.....just a big old attitude! Very poor business. Shame on them!
I love bagels so I dont know about the sandwiches and orders but bagels are awesome, I love oasis bagels in queens when I am around there so you know I understand a good bagel. Big and fluffy but yet not doughy. Just get the bagel.

I love this bagel place, bagels are delicious and they have great egg sandwiches as well. Everyone is friendly and nice, its just hit or miss with the wait time, but other than that I have no complaints, I hope this place stays around !

We are in a state mandated wear a mask order. Why do you let customers in without a mask and not say a word??? I had words with a guy without a mask standing directly behind me. I asked him to move back. He told me were in a crowded place anyway. Not one employee stepped up to say anything!! Why is that? Also, the music playing with f bombs every minute. Smh. I think I will go elsewhere where they only let 3 people in at a time and you have to wear a mask. Done with this place

Never no problem with the food what the hygiene is an issue. I literally witness 3 issues the same day. Staff does not wear gloves near closing while cleaning up then customer comes in to make an order grab bagel right with their hand and touched the food the go cook best Tolly unsanitary.1. Middle age gentleman was washing dishes sweating up a storm came to the front wiped his sweat with his bare hand on his forehead wiped it on his clothes and then reached in the stand and grab the sesame roll. Totally unsat.2. Young lady Was handling the mop customer came in to order went right to the case grabbed a hero and grab a bagel never washing a hand never put on gloves. Lazy and unhygienic.3. Another lady was wiping down counters with a cleaner spray bottle wiping it with a rag flipping it over bare hand customer comes jn sat the rag down and went straight to Bagels to make bagels with cream cheese. Risking healthI will never eat there again staff doesnt Take caution or pay attention to detail when dealing with food And cleaning up so if that is what I saw what about things We dont see .Owners and management need to addressed these issues of cleanliness they are dealing would food and the public at peoples health

Some people that work here are nice and do a great job. Others not so much. This place has decent food but its too expensive and theres no air conditioning so it gets extremely hot in the summertime. Not the worst bagel place but its certainly not best bagels around

My daughter went in there one day and the African American boy in there called her a “n word” and as she complained the fat short lady wouldn’t give the manager number up and ironic or she went there again 3 days ago and they bring up the sit-ups on again and he called her another n word

Good bagels, but whats the point of wearing gloves if youre handling dirty money and never changing them prior to preparing food. Id pay extra just to have them don new ones. At least the gloves are keeping their hands clean.

I have to say I have been here numerous times since day one that they opened because my office is literally around the block and every time it’s a disappointment , every time my food is wrong , they gave it to someone else, I’ve tried to give them chances but they need experienced staff I literally went there on my lunch break today ordered their lunch special and the messed that up it’s supposed to be honey turkey what I got was oven gold asked for macaroni I got potato salad , got to my office and truly dissatisfied because it is not what I ordered once again , I call and all they do is point blame on all other employees, last week I ordered a ham and cheddar melted it was never melted and put on a stale roll , the week before I ordered a everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and bacon when I arrived to pick up my order which I place 15 minutes before , they gave my sandwich away “by accident “ therefore on my lunch break I had to wait for another and the person the ordered the egg sandwich and got my bagel I’m sure couldn’t turn around and go back because they were probably on there lunch break as well also lunch special is supposed to come with a 24 oz fountain drink they give you a 16 oz

Hours say open until 4:30 on maps, open sign was on but the door was locked. I called once and no answer, called again and the phone was disconnected. Ridiculous.

Disappointed lately in this place last week, i asked for a toasted bagel with plain cc, the bagel was almost charred and had NOTHING on it. I couldn’t go back and tell them because i was already on the road heading out of state.This week, I asked for a bagel with plain cc and I’ve opened it up to see that the bagel was not toasted at all.I’m also concerned because the employees have been wearing the masks over their mouths only, not their noses the last two weeks I went here.Not thrilled.

2022-03-21This is my second time here as I just started working in the area and I just got to work and this is absolutely the best egg sandwich I have ever had!!! They are reasonably priced compared to other places the bagels are a good size and soft! Very satisfied

2022-02-27I order breakfast sandwiches every Sunday and I will never order from these guys again. Put in an order for 3 BEC’s and I got 3 bacon and cheese- really??? Who would order just bacon and cheese? Tried calling them and they never picked up the phone. They obviously know they get too many complaints so no need to answer their phone to hear about what they already know.

2022-07-14Went here Monday for the first time and ordered a veggie omelet. The young blonde girl was working at the counter and also cooking the food. I told her I was a vegetarian and if they could please clean the grill off where they cook the meat so my omelet wouldnt be tasting like meat or touching meat, she was so understanding and nice about it and went out of her way to do that for me. The veggie omelet was so good, and she threw in an extra topping. The place was clean and it was so nice dealing with a pleasant worker which seems hard to come by these days!

2022-06-02Ordered a lox bagel, a true error to order from these people.The woman at the register (fairly old, blond, wrinkles), maybe the owner, came with a bite and attitude when I brought up that there must have been a mistake in the order.We placed an order of 2 lox Bagels, we received 1 bagel uncut, untouched, and a second bagel with only salmon. We understand what the definition of lox is, but we also know what it means when you ask for a lox sandwich; capers, onion, cream cheese, the whole sandwich.I brought this to her attention, saying there must have been a mistake, which there was. Obviously the order was lost in translation.. That is not the problem, I understand this can happen.Instead of explaining that they dont make Lox Sandwiches and that they literally mean just salmon only, this woman bit down hard and decided explain to me that, I was wrong to assume they would make me a lox sandwich when I ordered a lox sandwich.She continued on saying This isnt Brighton Beach, or some Jewish town where they serve lox with capers very condescendingly. She said things here on Long Island are different...Im from here, I know how things are like and I know what a lox order is and what it means in any other bagel shop in the same town.Final product, a slapped together cheap recreation of what a lox sandwich is supposed to look like.There are 12 other bagel shops within 5 minutes of these guys. Do yourself a favor (and everyone else) and drive to one of those instead.

2022-07-08Writing this under an anonymous name because I think it’s only fair, but I’ve been quite disgruntled over this place for a while. I worked here for 2 years, worked my way up to being a secondary baker so the owner could have some days off as the deli/bagel business is harsh and it’s hard at times to find quality workers. I put in a lot of hard work and hours to make sure this place lived up to the name. At the beginning of 2022 in January I was informed I needed a very big surgery on my foot and the first thing I did was inform the owner and told him I had three months left until I had to take care of myself. For over a year straight I worked there in agonizing pain, limping around and still dragging myself to work to help this man. When the surgery came around I was aware of my rights as a New York State employee I was eligible for disability due to the extreme nature of my injuries and surgery (which will take at least a year to fully recover from). As my time was up there and my surgery nearing, it was time for me to go. Shortly before the surgery the owner started ghosting me about my disability and never filled out the paperwork on his end for me to receive the state minimum because y’know i physically can not work. Alas I’ve never heard a word from the guy again and here I am three months later receiving nothing monthly because he didn’t want to help a young adult out by filing some papers. Just want you folks to know what kind of guy you’re giving business to. I don’t want anything out of this, just want people to know.

2022-05-05Ive Been coming here for years, they messed up my breakfast sandwich 4 times. Last time they did I decided to call. Spoke with Joy she has great customer service skills she told me next time I come she will make it right at no charge. I went today and the owner obviously doesnt have any customer service skills he told her no that I had to be charged. Never again will I go there, and by reading other reviews Im not the only one with this problem. Maybe the owner needs to take a customer service skills class.

2022-02-11Ordered 2 eggs and cheese on an everything bagel for curbside pickup. When I got to my job and tried to eat, the bagel had no salt, pepper or ketchup like I asked. The eggs were also stuffed with feta cheese and not American. Called back to maybe get a replacement but they said I confirmed the order so in order to get a new sandwich I would have to pay for it. The only food place I have ever gone to that makes you pay for a replacement when they didn’t make you the correct item. Used to go here every moment but not anymore.

2022-05-15Such a shame because the food is great, but the 1 older woman helping me was very rude not only to the people waiting but the way she was cursing at the teens working there. Who does that?!? Unfortunately enough to not make me go back there. Said her name was Joy (irony if it was) or Joyce I believe? She sure is a way to not have customers coming back. Unbelievable.

2022-05-15I have to say this place is one of the best bagel stores I have ever been at. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean but there’s this one particular female that I see every time I go into this place she’s very nice sweet kinda and cute but anyway I’ll be back there soon

2022-06-04Good bagels make a great ehh sandwich. prices are a little higher the some of the other spots around. thats the only ding. but otherwise delicious 😋
