Buyer Beware! Bestbuy.com will advertise shipping by a certain date, but doesnt meet those shipping dates (not even shipping on that date)! In my experience and opinion, you will be disappointed if you order from them. Once they have your money, they dont care about letting you cancel or change your order to curbside store pickup.Update: After chatting and calling with 4 people, I was finally able to cancel my order and get a refund.
Great selection. Staff fairly knowledgeable. There is a Wait to be helped due to shortage of help and how busy the store always is.Employees are required to wear masks. Customers arent required but some still wear them. I know I do. I am glad to see that they are making efforts to ensure 6ft spacing while in line. That was one of my recommendations in my last review and it is nice to see that it was taken seriously. Geek Squad and extended warranties right through the store is a plus.
Went to check on a tv rebate was told to call a phone number which i did after waiting on the phone a long time got a person who i had a hard time understanding gave me someone else to call after waiting again another girl I also had a hard time understanding i think theyre from India sends me back to the store after about 2 hours finally got it resolved rebate i was told would be in the mail when i purchased tv it never came i will think twice about buying any thing else at Bestbuy
I returned a soundbar today. I had no reciept. The person at at customer service abruptly tells me that without a reciept they cannot take the item back. I then asked for a manager. The manager quickly accepts the return and says they can put it on a gift card for me. The manager leaves and then the customer service person states I hope your okay with the lowest price it was marked, because thats how we do this here (which suggests she knew the process of returns without receipt but didnt want to help me)Then she hands me a gift card for $100 less then what it is currently priced at and doesnt credit any tax. It seems like Best Buy is training associates to lie to customers about return policy, or that this associate just didnt want to help me.Not a good experience with Best Buy. I walked out without replacing the soundbar as a result of how poorly I was treated by customer service.
Don’t do curbside pick up, the heavy set bald guy who brought out my Xbox required me to open the door for him even though he had an available hand to do it, dropped my Xbox in the car not set it down he literally dropped it inside then proceeded to walk away without closing the door
We went here specifically for a t.v. Adam approached us as we were entering the TV section of the store and helped us through the whole process.. He didnt try to sell. Me the biggest baddest TV around I gave him a $1000 limit and he sold me the best 65 TV for under that price and made sure I got what I wanted. We did progressive leasing and they were very patient with everything. Thank you for a great experience Best Buy!
Bought this at Best Buy. Used to have rabbit ears antenna, was good till everything went digital. My reception was come and go , Picture and sound would be distorted. I had cut the cord to cable a long time ago. This improved sound and picture greatly, I already had my Roku. Great selection. This was in my price range $42.00 tax included.
First time in this particular store. Waited for someone to help... Nothing. Had to go ask someone for assistance and when I finally got it, the employee wasnt really useful. Found a lot of interesting things on my own, purchased a few. Positives: Lots of inventory, great selection, fast and easy checkout. Most customers were Covid compliant but I felt comfortable shopping anyway. Would return if needed.
One person seemed interested in helping the others didn’t. The one that wanted to help was the store manager Tim and didn’t know what an Ethernet cable was. The others that helped after taking over lacked personal skills, selling skills and the ability to mitigate customer questions and create a feeling that it didn’t mattered the customer had a good experience. Instead they came across as haughty and talking down to people. I run a 200 million dollar sales business and wouldn’t hire and if then to sell for me.
My hobby is that have the best of the best TV technology or anything electrical which is a bad hobby to have considering they depreciate quicker than vehicles I like to be able to have the best technology at the current present date but then two years later its like 20% of what it cost me two years earlier
The Geek Squad at the Hamburg Location were terrific. Purchased a new laptop and they transferred all of my old files onto the new one. They then assisted me in setting it up. Once they verified everything had transferred they refurbishing the old laptop so my niece could use it.
Very upset with the way Best Buy does business now. No longer able to contact the store directly the service they are using are not customer friendly. This experience has turned me totally off ever buying from Best Buy again. I am dealing with the company for the air conditioner I purchased at Best Buy. I live too far away to just pop in to see if Best Buy is going to do anything for a brand new non working air conditioner..
This Best Buy is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Once browsing an employee was there to ask if I needed any help within a matter of seconds. There are many great options whether you are looking for a laptop, keyboard, headphones, amazon echo products, phones, TVs, and many more electronics. The store is very clean and well organized. One of my favorite places to go when searching for some type of technology. I will say, before you buy a product, make sure you cant find it cheaper elsewhere. Sometimes best buy can be pricey.
Always your go to store for personal electronics and accessories. Easy to get into and out of the store from the parking lot but the in the Mall entrance was closed, I assume because of State imposed Covid 19 restrictions. Its a clean and orderly well laid out store with helpful knowledgeable employees. With their Geek Squad help is just a call away. If they cant help you over the phone they can come to your home and get you back up and running. Its worth the drive for good service, with friendly knowledgeable staff and good quality, name brand products with very fair pricing. Give them a try with no worries about being pushed into something you dont want.
I had a computer issue and went to Geek Squad after I couldnt solve it myself. They have an easy to follow system for COVID regulations, especially if you make an online reservation. The man I worked with was super helpful, explained what would happen clearly and respectfully, and made sure to send my computer out ASAP for me. Overall great experience and my computer works perfectly now.
Tried placing order online and in store and it keeps getting cancelled with no explanation as to why.. and its not a problem on my end, the money keeps getting taken from my account. So I call bestbuy customer service and they are simply awful.. nobody can explain to me why this is happening or how to remedy the situation and keep transferring me around and hanging up on me. Honestly one of the most frustrating shopping experiences Ive ever had. And still havent been able to purchase the item I was trying to buy. Ive wasted hours of my time speaking with customer service for nothing. Super disappointed and will most certainly look elsewhere for future purchases after this experience. Im supposed to trust this company with major purchases when they cant figure out a simple issue on their end? Never again.
Associate was very helpful and informational. He stayed with my wife and I from start of our visit until he cashed us out. Making sure we had all of our questions answered and provided additional information which was extremely helpful in making decisions on our purchases.
I purchased a mini fridge here, 47 days later it stopped cooling. I called for support and I received a bigger headache than the original issue of a non functioning fridge. Best Buy stated Im outside a window, whatever.The tv commercials brag about the stellar support youll receive at Bestbuy, I strongly disagree. An additional issue was when I called for the support, 4 different times I was put on hold and disconnected. Each time I called back I had to verbalize my issues and details of my purchase. I give up, truly pathetic support team. Go to Amazon. If it breaks, walk it to UPS and theyll wrap it and ship it free... and all that without spending 90 mins on a phone in a loop of lame support people.
This place and its geek squad outsourced my mothers computer repair to India, in which the people went on to invade her computer steal my credit card # and take a bunch of my money.. that Best buy refuses to get back. Even though Im not even a customer so why would I charge computer repair to Best buy?!
I would rate them a 0 if it allowed me to. We drove to Best Buy in Hamburg from Olean NY. Drove 2 hours in a snow storm to be turned away. I called apple support to start a repair claim on my iPhone 11. I have apple care + and was advised by apple support that my phone damage was covered by my insurance. They set up an appointment for repair at best buy which would be covered by my insurance for a $29 deductible. Best Buy refused to do the repair stating it was not covered under my insurance. I provided them with my case # for my repair. The employee stated the could not take apples word for the repair and refused to fix my phone. I will never come back to Best Buy for anything !!! I ended up going to MacSolutions Plus in Amherst NY. They fixed my phone screen within an hour, COVERED BY MY APPLE CARE. I highly recommend NOT doing business with Best Buy ! Terrible service.
I spent 20 minutes attempting to find what I needed myself. I was only finding mostly empty spaces with placards. I asked one employee for help and was informed that she wasnt qualified and I would have to go find a blue shirt employee to assist me. Im guessing that the stores two-way communication system wasnt working either. After finding the qualified employee I was informed that I would have to order the item online because they dont stock the name brand item I wanted but they would gladly me place the order. SMH
Purchased an Insignia 4 months ago and this weekend it stopped working. After scheduling a Geek Squad appointment, we were told the screen was malfunctioning, and we need to take it back to the Store. Went to the McKinley Store, and ended up having to upgrade to a Toshiba. Got it home, excited to install it. Guess what, the remote is not with the TV. Currently, hanging on the phone for someone to answer it for over 20 minutes...Really Best Buy?
Called the hamburg store 3 times, 15 minutes and no body picked up. was quoted a repair price, only to have the repair center triple the price. beware of their tricks. kayla the manager is USELESS!. never returned my hard drive that was sent out. Terrible service. they could only make excuses!!!
Prior to entering the store to buy a new smart TV I did a bunch of research on Consumer Reports, RTINGS.com, PCMag, etc....Both Kevin my sales guy & Sean the Department manager were knowledgeable and straightforward. Answered ALL questions... Both helped navigate me through my purchase & asked additional questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. If youre shopping for a smart TV you must go here.
They do the minimum of everything so that they can seem like they have and do everything. I took two years of Information Technology as a vocational class in high school, and I cant get help from the geek squad because I know more than they do about fixing my electronics which isnt much knowledge. Instead of rooting out a virus, theyll either sell you anti-virus software or explain a factory reset. They have limited selection of each item despite having most items (like color choices for mp3 players and cellular phones) thus relying on online orders. I walk out and order things from their parking lot more than buying in store. As much as keeping updated is important, they dont have many items that I seek because theyve gotten newer versions that may not be preferred or inexpensive. That or I want a less popular item for features that most people wouldnt be looking for. For a possibly justifiable reason, they price items differently based on color. Best Buys I havent been to might be better in which case Im rating their hiring criteria and employees which probably vary from store to store.
The advice (without pressure) was appreciated for the purchase of my new 2 in 1 laptop. I generally cringe at the thought of dealing with these types of encounters but everyone that assisted me, from the associate who helped me decide on my purchase to the geek squad to st it up, was extremely patient, informative, and genuinely helpful.
The assistants were super helpful. We were looking into prepaid wireless phones. They helped us locate other locations for the phone and company I was looking for, and made sure we could get what we needed. Also showed us how to use the app to make sure I could order an item to make sure it was there.Prepaid cellular can be tricky, and they went above and beyond!
I usually am very satisfied with customer service and the very of tvs, sound bars ect . . . ! BUT this time customer service sucks, stood at service counter for 20 mins as we watched the employee look at us and walk right by several times, then stopped to to see if other people needed any help, we ended up leaving going to another best buy
I tried to buy a laptop for college from here. The sales person at the table didn’t want to help us and would have rather talked to the other guys at his corner. After a very brisk and rude interaction we left the store with the laptop in order. I asked if he could check any stores near by and he shrugged and said no. No my order is delayed and won’t arrive in time and had to cancel the order. We will not be buying from here ever again.
Phone line never goes through. On multiple occasions Ive called and received no answer after holding for 15-20 minutes. This goes for geek squad, product availability and sales. Always no answer. I will absolutely never go into a store that cant get one of their 10+ employees to answer their phone.
Employee Shawn was one of the most helpful people to help with our 90 year old grandmother today. I was holding back my tears as he showed patience and kindness as he helped her with what she was looking for in Best Buy. I hope when we return that we can reach out to him directly and thank him for our experience.
My problem is not with the store, but their website. Product I purchased was a pixel 5 phone, and their specification for the phone, directly on their site stated said there was a headphone jack on the phone. Not the case. So now Im stuck with a phone with no headphone jack and if I return it, a $45 restocking fee. Be aware of their a telling you one thing and getting something not the case.
Completely disgusted. We ordered a chest freezer online and received a confirmation email. About an hour later we received another email saying it was stuck in pending and they would hold it for 24 hours. We drove out to the Hamburg location the same day to pick it up and we’re told sorry we no longer have any left in stock and don’t no when we will be getting any more. I’m beyond angry at their lousy customer service and broken promises.
Plenty of staff on hand to help answer questions. I however had to awkwardly find a way to start talking to a different staff member because after telling the person helping me that I was not willing to spend $3000+ on a TV he then started to act like his puppy died. He turned rude and short with me. The other person that helped me was great though. Very nice, willing to help me find something in my budget. Not sure how the staff has allowed the one guy to continue working there with his attitude. Everyone else was great though.
The movie and games areas are shrinking, they dont stock much in the 360 cameras department and the options they have for everything doesnt really change in any department. Online ordering is a pain because the site is slow and they literally have 30 listings for the same products. I saw the same game on the same page listed at least 5 times. Not different versions or prices but the same exact game.
We bought an open box TV that was missing remote, instructions and any power cords and i called customer service and after being hung up on and waiting 25 min on hold they offered for us to return TV or exchange it if i found the same one. I called local store and waited 20-30 min on hold and was hung up on. I called again and waited 20-30 min and finally spoke with someone for 2 min who was going to check for TV and i got hung up on again! So frustrating! Driving to the store would be quicker than calling! Why not hire more people to help out with customer service-that should be your number #1 concern for the people!
Only reason i was there was to get my money back. Bought a clothes drier on 7/23. Delivery date 8/13. 8/12 get call comfirm time for delivery next day. 8/13 delivery guy calls and says not there. Go to BB THEY STATE CAN GET ME ONE IN 10 DAYS. Yes folks 1 full month. And whos to gaurantee....
Great service once you get someone to wait on you. Very understaffed with check out cashiers (lines form) and sales personnel. Been the 2 times in the past 3 days and both times I had to wait over 12 minutes for either a cashier to cash me out or a salesperson to type up my order. I already knew what I wanted but I had to ask 3 times for someone to assist me with the sale. Their response was we are short handed--so I waited unhappily.
I waited for more than 25 minutes for someone to talk to me and then just before a worker was to talk to me this guy and his daughter(I think) stopped that worker and started asking him questions.....so partly Best Buy employees made me wait and partly rude customers.....but over all had a interesting time and look forward to going back
I tend to avoid Best Buy for the simple fact that I think things are so much cheaper elsewhere especially if you buy things online. I did decide to give this a five star review because we both left after having several questions in different areas regarding computers and phones and commented how extremely knowledgeable and helpful the staff was. We didnt end up buying anything because we are still debating on type of computer Etc but we will be back. My boyfriend stated I definitely would buy from them for the simple fact that they were so helpful and knowledgeable I will say that thats something you just cant beat and get online. Im only disappointed that I didnt remember the name of the man helping us with computers I remember going months prior and asking questions about cameras and getting the same outstanding service and knowledge about products. There is something to be said that there are still places where people know about the products and you can actually go in and see them in person sometimes I forget I buy so much online.
Clean and organized store, employees always willing to help find what youre looking for. Sometimes I wish they werent so pushy, though. Ive had some try to pressure me into signing up for a credit card or continuously try to sell me something after Ive made it clear Im not interested.
In and out in under 10 minutes. I was directed right to the section I needed. I showed the item on my phone to an associate, they had it within seconds.. price matched my purchase for me and I was on my way. I recommend this location for all of your consumer electronics needs...
More than likely one of the better Best Buy locations around. Things are usually stocked well, price matching is never an issue, and employees are at the very least friendly even if they dont have the answers you were looking for. All in all, pretty good considering the state of most retail stores these days.
Sorry to say but it was an horrible experience. I bought a refurbished galaxy s10+ online and realized there was a fine crack in the screen days later( phone was never dropped and in a Samsung digital display case). Under the policy of the store per online and advertising i had 14 days once received and that would be march 14 to return exchange the item in good faith. I drove 30 min to the McKinley mall best buy location and was advised by one worker to go get a replacement. However the manager Melinda was needed for a legit return and proceeded to tell me how also under policy the reserve the right to refuse acceptance of the item at each store. Now me being a middle aged black man it seemed wierd that with all the appropriate paperwork i would be helped in some way. Whether it be a exhange or i would have been willing to pay more with reluctance to buy refurbished items from them anymore. No i was refused service and they also refused to sell me the protection plan that you also have 14 days to purchase. So with this being said i wouldnt recommend going to this best buy location esp if u need services and are of color. Sad to say that in 2020 this is how we treat each other.
Great help finding what I wanted on 12/2/17. Did not offer gift receipt and I forgot to ask. Went back 10 minutes later and was told at customer service I could either year off bottom off reprinted receipt or return the item, have my account credited and then repurchase the item. I looked at the clerk and said to her, seriously!? and left. Otherwise it was a positive experience.
Employees spent time on their phones, talking in groups and when I having had to search on my own, couldnt find something, their only help to find the printer was to offer to order online, which i can do myself. Thats not help. Might as well have a security guard at the door and self-checkout.
The person I spoke with was completely unhelpful and had no idea what I was asking for. How hard is Answering machine? He was very rude and hung up on me. I called again spoke with someone different who also was unhelpful. Used to love best buy. Sad to see the quality fall like this
Was looking at washing machines, I had to flag down a blue shirted employee. He was polite but knew nothing about the washers and answered my questions by looking them up online. I appreciate employees trying to help, however, it would be more helpful to say I dont know than feed me useless info.
A young gentleman by the name of Mike waited on us a few minutes ago. Our purchases were a little complicated and varied. I must tell you his demeanor and, particularly, his encyclopedic knowledge of the product lines were stellar. We seem to always go to Best Buy for our bigger ticket entertainment products. We bought our TV, stereo receiver and my phone there. The employees are knowledgeable and they have competitive prices. They are just about the only ones around who will take old TVs for recycling and any other electronics. They charge $25 for the big old TVs for recycling. No one else takes though. The store is big and bright and its easy to find the section youre looking for.
Dont sell USB adapters, HDMI cable adapters, dont sell laptop batteries. Was told by two people working there that you have to buy that stuff online. So thats right three theyre out!!! Now I know why their brick and mortar business is doing so bad and they have to close some stores. Theyre pushing customers to go online it get what they want. And the stuff I did look at I wanted was half again more expensive. Then what the man told me to go online and look at and Buy.....
Bought a phone here twice and they sold me insurance on it stating that if it broke I would get a new phone on the spot no questions asked. When the time came I needed a quick exchange they failed to provide that service and had me go through a mail replacement. They lie to you to sell you the service and then they fail to follow through. Done shopping here.
I went to Best Buy just to try out the MacBook Air, not knowing for sure if I was going to buy one or not. After talking to the store associate (and a guy from Apple who happened to be there), I made the decision to buy two of them. The associate was able to answer my questions and it was obvious that he knew the products and was confident in them. That was enough for me. Great experience!
The staff at the McKinley Mall Best Buy is outstanding compared to any other in the area. The guys that work in the TV section are especially great. They really helped us and answered all our questions when we recently bought a new TV. Will always go to this Best Buy even though we live near the Walden location.
While definitely not the biggest Best Buy in the area, it is the one I prefer to shop at when I need something that I dont have the time to wait for it to be shipped out and delivered. The selection is decent, the prices arent really that much more than Amazon or whatever, and even if Amazon is cheaper, if you can prove that the price is coming from Amazon directly and not a 3rd party seller, Best Buy will match it as far as I know.
I shop at Best buy probably at least once a month.. in all honesty I order mostly everything online now a days since I really just dont have time to go to the store anymore but Best buy is my go to when I need a new computer or tablet .. always like to check out their open boxed items too can occass6 find a really good deal.
I order a pedestal drawer online for my new Samsung dryer and was there to pick it up. It actually arrived a day earlier than I was previously told. It was already sitting out ready for me to take home. The desk staff and the young man who loaded it into my SVU were very professional and helpful.
Years ago, people were greeted as they walked in your stores and immediately asked if they needed help finding anything. Employees were always pleasant and helpful. Well, while visiting the McKinley Mall location, we couldnt find what we were looking for. During that time, we had 4 employees walk right by and never asked if we needed any help. We left and went somewhere else. Unless the customer searches out someone for assistance, there doesnt seem to be any interaction with them. Sorry to say it, but your Customer Service needs improvement.
I bought a TV there when picked it up came back home it was busted went back to the Best Buy and a tell me that they dont have another one I cant get another 1 they wont give me a deal on another 1 so my saddle off and it was the best TV you can buy for the price the high sets HG something AQ so they wouldnt work with me or do anything and so basically I got money back so I had order from Amazon so your best bet if you need something just get it from Amazon for a lousy 100 hour difference Thats not worth the aggravation of these Amazon will try to give you something back of the same thing Best Buy UPS not the warehouse them
Clerk at Best Buy approached me offering help (needed), verifying that I knew the difference between 2 products. He remained with me as I proceeded through 2 purchases, & checked me out patiently as I tried to figure out how to pay with my phone. Kind, courteous, helpful, patient.
Terrible. Worst ever. Usually I get good help. Wanted to check out oculus go and no one new anything about it. They had it but knew nothing about the capability of them. I dont like it now I have to waste my time and gas to return it. Totally surprised because they are usually good.
Always get the warranties they are always worth the extra few bucks they never give you a hard time about them and you get the full value of your product back not the on sale price if you purchase the warranty the price at the time of warranty purchase is the price you get you can opt to replace your product and get a new warranty or spend no money replace your product not get a warranty or just get your money
While I have no complaints about the store layout, selection, prices, or employees, I did have problems with hardware Trojans also known as hardware implants, essentially modified integrated circuits that can be remotely controlled via 5 gigahertz wireless signals. Most people seem to be unaware of or simply dont mind purchasing electronics that can be remotely administered by unknown and unauthorized persons. The computers sold at this particular Best Buy are hacked and not compliant with manufacturers specifications, for this reason I have to rate one star.
Needed a new PC...didnt want a laptop...and the very knowledgable BB employee in that Dept guided me thru the process which allowed me to make my choice. The equally knowledgable Geek Squad then took my PC to set it up & came back later to pick it up & made an appt for Geek Squad home visit to transfer data on my broken PC to my new PC. Great job!!
Extremely poor customer service at the service desk. I had a question about a purchase and signing for a restocking fee. When I questioned what the fee was for and what it was on. The associate rolled her eyes and looked at the associate next to her with a look thar said...Really? I told her I didnt need the attitude and asked for the District Managers number.
We went to the store last night (6/2/17) to purchase an s8+ phone outright. We spoke with a very helpful member of staff (I think her name might have been Monica? she had a nose piercing) She helped us for quite a while before telling us unfortunately the color s8+ we wanted was not in stock so we ended up going to the Niagara falls boulevard and having a bad experience with another best buy staff member.Today (6/3/17) we came back to this store to try order the phone for delivery to the store. Unfortunately we just missed the helpful staff member and we was left to be dealt with by someone who said he was her brother and a blond girl. The level of service they gave us was shocking just downright being negative and saying we could not get what we wanted to buy. He seemed more interested in her than dealing with us and she just wasnt interested.We ended up leaving the store and trying to purchase the phone on youre website as that was all he could suggest we do to get what we want. We got as far as trying to type in our address when paying before the site started playing up.I would say I cant wait for the day that stores shut down and I dont have to deal with youre staff members when everything is online but after dealing with youre website I dont think that will be much better
Looking for a 17 laptop... rep was good but they only had 2 models well over $2000 and it didnt include the programs that I needed. No real package deal for equipment and accessories (all in one printer/fax/copier & Microsoft Office 365) However rep did point us to Raycon Worldwide to get our wireless earbuds! Too bad we had to order online...
For an electronic store they clearly dont know how to use a phone. I sat on hold for 30 minutes without so much as a Hello, can you please hold?...nothing...just crappy elevator music. I would really appreciate speaking to a person who can answer one simple question before I have to drive 40 minutes out to Hamburg just to talk to someone in person.
I knew what I was looking for but not sure where it would be in the store. Asked the first Bestbuy employee I saw for help. He knew where it was and recommended the least expensive wireless AC adapter.NETGEAR AC600 Dual Band. Easy setup and works perfectly.Update: Continues to work flawlessly.
Its best buy. You can find anything electronic or entertainment here. The prices are all right, but honestly you could find better at Walmart for price. On the other hand, quality is better and service is as well. The individuals who work there know the products very well.
I stopped in because I happened to be in the area . I had a couple of questions about a very recent purchase of a cell phone I bought . The sales associate remembered me , was friendly and answered my questions in a way that made it easy to understand ( I tend to still be old-school on some things ) .
BEST Best Buy store in Western NY. Only for product availability though ,staff doesnt seem to be aware of anything there... I actually sold a product last year because no one was around to help the lady. Goes to say , get aquatinted with the items you are looking for before you go! Dont forget price matching as well
I went to upgrade my virgin phone 12/22. I picked a phone out a black girl unsure of everything. Ask about best buy price match unsure about it .unsure if could keep same rate, plan , same number etc. Then proceeded look on virgin website for rate to compare she didnt know how to pull it up ask me to look up for her since not know how. Then said not the same phone i said it is the same phone name everything LG stylo 4. Then ask her mgr. She came back said if I could pull up again see it will match it although just saw it so pull up again Then she tries take phone out box not able to so ask me so I did. She cut her finger went in back to get bandaid.Then i ask if she knew what she was doing she said yes but will give me to someone else push me off on a guy nearby . He was fine and helpful set up phone.Never got email receipt then ask for printed one said have to go to customer service so I did. A tall white Girl there very Rude said not in system for me to come back 2 hours or wait 2 hrs I said never heard not getting receipt. Said just want receipt not waiting 2 hrs. then girl next to her ask my name and ph# she printed for me not sure why other girl refuse to. Horrible experience .
In the cell phone section, ask an employee for a wireless charger for my husbands phone. I explained it was for him in the woods to recharge his phone while he was hunting. She sold me a wireless charger that you can only use in the house, while its plugged in. Thats not what I asked for.
Best Buy is GARBAGE. I went to buy a drone and they canceled my order numerous times then the last time I tried ordering it they put a hold on my money and STILL canceled my order. The employees at corporate are very rude and unhelpful. They just lost a $1100 sale because of their ignorance!!!
The worst customer service ever. I called to make sure they had two computers and 4 monitors in stock before i drove all the way to the store. I was put on hold for 20 minutes before i could even speak to a live person. When I told them how long I was on hold for they said its like that all the time. Best Buy obviously does not want my money. while I was on hold I Amazoned what I was looking for and it said order today (Wednesday) and have by Friday. Not to mention it was allot cheaper. Im done with brick & morder lousy service! From now on I will order everything from Amazon!
There is no register on the way into the main mall so you have to check out all the way at the back of the store to then travel all the way to the opposite side just to get back to youre shopping. It doesnt even earn a 1 star in my book. More like 0! Fix it Best Buy!!! Most pathetic store set up for a mall location ever!!
So I can report a terrific experience and positive impression. Today I got an iPhone 6s 128 gb on sale with a $100 gift card. The activation went smoothly although the phone itself had -0- charge and we needed time so I shopped for an Otterbox Commuter case, the customer service rep price-matched it with Amazon, and easily snagged a manager for the reduction in cost. The gift card covered sales tax, plus Otterbox, with $4.95 left over. Store policies worked great for me, staff was helpful. Time from entry to store through departure with activated phone and case, about 1 hour (normal for phone activations on new but discharged units).
I have purchased SO MANY items and have spent SO MUCH money over the years and I am always satisfied with the sales associates, product choices and availability. I am sure that over the coming years, I will buy more items from Best Buy.I suppose that is why it is called: Best Buy.

2022-03-23Went to look at phones, requested a salesman that was knowledgeable. We had Austin, he was very knowledgeable and made my bad day better. It helps to know a fair amount about what your going to buy prior to going. 2021-12-21Best place Ive shopped in awhile. They have exactly what I was looking for. As well as these 2 watches, I also bought a hoverboard with lights n Bluetooth for my granddaughter. I Galaxy flip 3 and carry case for my girlfriend and they were all at more than reasonable prices. The employees are top notch and very helpful. Awesome store which I will be patronizing for a long time 👍👍👍

2022-06-25I had a super quick and friendly visit to Best Buy. I picked up my online order right at the front door. The order arrival notification came by email and all I had to do was show the barcode on my phone for my item to the Best Buy employee in the kiosk at the entry. This was on a Saturday morning right when the store opened.

2022-06-06Ordered a laptop and the auto fill changed my address to my old address. Mistake on my end. However I called the 1-888 # almost instantly and they said it was not a problem they can cancel that order and send me a replacement. Well I kept getting emails and texts that my order was still coming (the original one). So I called again and they stated they will put a hold on it with fed ex and not to worry my replacement will come the following day after the original delivery date. Well long story short, the original one got delivered to my old address anyway and I was told June 16th (2weeks later) will be my new delivery date from June 4th! I needed it for that weekend for a graduation party/present! I should have learned from a TV I bought from there 2 years ago. They send me the wrong TV a better one than I ordered to be exact, but I was honest and they wanted me to ship it back but I had to pay for it!! Guess being honest gets you nowhere with Best Buy!! Will not buy online from them again. In store... maybe....

2022-03-27I just had an awesome experience shopping for a laptop - something I thought I would never say about these big box stores. Basheer, one of the store associates, spent a ton of time helping me find the right laptop in my price range and explaining the different offerings with each model. I really appreciated that he listened to what I needed and didnt just try to upsell me on the latest tech. Ill definitely be a repeat customer!

2022-05-06Friendly and helpful staff who seem knowledgable and a nice layout of the store, as a feng shui consultant I very much enjoy the store. Only problem is my friend and I have bought some things from here, like surround sound, that wasnt very good. We returned it and the second system we bought is much better but right after we got it it continuously has this problem of shutting off on its own. We also got a computer from Best Buy, although the Cheektowaga location, that turned into an absolute nightmare and was an utter piece of junk pretty much.

2022-06-07Horrible experience showed up at 600pm and store was closing at 7 was not allowed to buy to IPhones with cash because it was too late in the day. Total dispectful to me the whole time and then tried to cash out an HDMI cable at the register and she closed it as I was walking up. But the item down and left at that point.

2022-06-15Omg dont get me started! I paid to be a total tech member, I ordered everything new for my new house. After 3 months still waiting for my Range, after 2 months and 6 geek squad appointments got my Home Theater adjusted and fixed, after 3 months still waiting for my claim to damage to be settled from Camera install from Mastec... make sure you get Mr. Telephone for cameras! The washer and dryer didnt have a stack kit paid for and was finally complete later the same day as I was lucky they came in the morning!
