People often shop products based on price. In todays day and age it is far easier to get a lower price online than in most brick and mortar locations. Every single time I do that I end up back at best buy to fix whatever it was that I found cheaper online. Also, every single time the staff here helps me without judgement or condescending attitudes. I can honestly say Ive never walked out of this store frustrated or unhappy with the product or service that I received, except for once but that was entirely my fault. My new first and last stop for my electronic needs!
Worst experience of my life!!! Bought a product and received a receipt with all the right billing and shipping information. Wait for a few days and dont receive what I ordered. Call and track my package and it was delivered to a address 4 hours away. They wont do anything about it.
Went here a week ago to buy a new TV after my old one broke itself. I was planning on getting a replacement, but the price was good enough for me to get an upgrade. I ultimately went with a 4K Hisense for $270. The tv itself works fantastic and the instructions were straightforward. While in the store, I was helped wonderfully by the employees and ultimately came to my decision because of their input. The cherry on top were these little posters of Russell Wilson beside the checkout. The second I saw my favorite QB, (Go Hawks) I instantly knew buying the TV was the move. Couldnt recommend this place enough!
I went to this location yesterday to see about a battery replacement for my iPhone 8. The Geek Squad rep told me that none of their Apple techs were on duty currently, checked to make sure they had the part in stock and then scheduled an appointment for me this evening for the work. No problem there.I show up today at the appointed time (5:20PM) and am told that the tech is on his/her lunch break and that by the time they are done, they will not have enough time to complete the work before the store closes (9:00PM). A quick google search will tell you that a battery replacement for an iPhone 8 takes 20-45 minutes.
Geek Squad ROCKS!!! Not only was Corey great with my gadget installs, but very helpful in my understanding how things work. Additionally letting me know what I didnt need and refunding those items without my even asking!! Highly recommended Best Buy Geek Squad and will use again. I also recommend Best Buy for gadgets; well stocked, great prices, fast pick up and just plain easy!
I had a major flood in my home & started replacing insured items. I also purchased Total Tech. Dont waste ur time or money! I Call, Im on hold 30-45mins. When I get thru, I get disconnected 50% of time. Waited 30days for camera installer who was not equipped & simply said sorry, call & reschedule. Ive not been able 2get new date YET! Best Buy, so far, Id rate u a 2 on scale of 1-10.
Shane Hough, the manager, Ryan Kerber, the supervisor and Connor, the store associate are absolutely the best. Connor is an outstanding master in products and quality customer service. Mr. Kerber is a brilliant leader that sets standards for excellence in customer satisfaction. Mr. Hough is phenomenal is ensuring outstanding guidelines and policies. Their drive and dedication make Best Buy the top place to shop.
Service is horrible now, guys who installed my new car deck were beyond rude and trying to rush me. Hurried my installation and now my deck is not even on my dash. They forgot to plug my hazard lights back in, then had to wait 2 days to come back for them to do it. Never showed me how to use anything on the radio, will be returning it and having them put my factory one back in.
This Best Buy is a shell of its former self.I quit going to this location after the lay off last year during the pandemic. I made the mistake of going back today. Obviously Best Buy isnt taking care of their employees as the store was a mess, everyone definitely looked like they didnt want to be there. Made a purchase of a ps4 controller (because they are the only people to have stock) for pick up (they couldnt deliver for some goofy reason) to find out their 2 year warranty that was $10 previously has doubled. When I found a credit card someone had lost the employee just didnt seem to care at first. As I tried calling the customer care number on the back to notify the bank of a lost card he rushed back to snag it out of my hand. I dont know what has happened to this Best Buy but this was definitely my last visit to this store. I know it wont impact their business in the slightest, but Id like to see Best Buy give their employees some reason to care about their jobs.
Went in today just to purchase a apple product known to be in stock. It took over 15 minutes to find an employee to simply go and retrieve the item so I can pay for it. I understand staffing is difficult, however this has always been the way Best Buy operates. Waited in line another 10 minutes for the people ahead of me to pay for their candy bars… has a nice product display however poor way of purchasing items!
I purchased an item online. They brought the item right to me. The box was damaged, however before I had a chance to examine the item, the associate had already taken the box apart, examined it, repackaged it, and discounted the item for the inconvenience and damaged box. Excellent customer service! As very happy with the entire encounter.
I like best buy alot. I really enjoy electronics and technology. I only have one fault for this store. I have ms making it difficult to walk. They have a manual wheelchair. I was there once and pressed my leg down on I think it was the right foot plate. It broke and I returned to the store about a week and a half later. It was still broken. Other than that I have zero complaints about the store in fact its my favorite store.
Still a hot mess of incompetent, barely supervised employees. The Henrietta location has always been the worst managed Best Buy in the Rochester area. The more Best Buy corporate expects of its stores, the worse this one performs. Online order pickup/curbside delivery is the latest disaster, with orders filled consistently late, often minutes before the store closes for the day. Since there is no way to directly communicate with store employees, you cannot get your questions answered about pending online orders for in-store pickup. Sometimes the orders disappear altogether at this store location, requiring someone from customer service to follow up with the store using some secret employee-only phone number or email to get them delivered.In contrast, the Victor location is managed like a well oiled machine. Orders placed for next day delivery frequently arrive the same day, often within two hours of the order being placed, for free. This location always exceeds expectations, while the Henrietta store always fails them. Its too bad the Victor location closes at 7 while Henrietta closes at 8. Frankly, you are better off just ordering from Amazon if you are forced to deal with the Henrietta store. You will pay less and get better service, too.
Had a great BB store in Madison Wisconsin, moved for work, and now have a great one here in Henrietta - years ago would use Amazon or Newegg not anymore - anyway most recently had purchased a major appliance from BB online which was delivered damaged. Delivery guys had scarpered before I realized (v poor delivery) but the store made it right even though it was an online purchase - 5 stars - staff super helpful
Overall the store was clean and well stocked. The employees were nice and attempted to be helpful. There seems to be a trend away from stocking higher quality products in the stores, everything I came in for needed to be ordered on the website. It is painfully obvious that the staff is not trained on the items they sell in any great detail. There is plenty of parking and the store is located in a very safe area. There should be no issues for wheelchair access, and I did see a service dog in the store.
Great techs and the Geek Squad is amazing. They are always positive and ready to help. Chrissie, the tech I saw about my Chromebook, was very knowledgeable and patient and she knew a lot about scamming and fraudulent phone calls. It was a very good experience today at Best Buy!
I waited for an employee for a long time to get a laptop I knew I wanted. People who came in after me were getting help before me. A line would definitely help. While waiting I found the same computer on amazon for $60 less so I ordered it from there instead. Id rather have supported a brick and mortar place but the amount of time I stood there waiting for an employee to unlock a cabinet was too much to bear.
I went to this location on 3/1/21 to look at the Microsoft Surface Duo as the Best Buy I normally go to into Greece doesnt have one on display. When I entered the store there was no one at the LP desk nor was there a greeter at the door. Luckily the mobile department is right by the entrance so I proceeded there so I could look at the device I was interested in. When I entered the department there was a female associate assisting a customer with a glass screen protector.Since I didnt want to interrupt her I looked at a few of the display tables to see if I could find the device on my own but I wasnt able to locate it. I started to walk towards computers, I saw another associate and asked where the Surface Duo was? He walked me over to the device and asked me if I had any questions. I advised him that I was just looking but if I did that I would let him know!The device was on display and powered on BUT the demo software was not functional and I was unable to bypass it so I couldnt test out the devices features. Now I could have asked for assistance but I shouldnt have to because the demo device should have been fully functional! While I tried to bypass the demo I noticed 3 associates talking to each other and not one of them came over to ask if I had additional questions! Needless to say I left the store and when I was leaving an associate wished me a nice day which was the first time someone interacted with me directly!I am not sure if the store management team will see this but you really got to train your employees better. I should have been greeted or at least acknowledged as soon as I entered the department, the associate should have advised me of her name and that once done she would be right with me but none of that happened. I think when the new Surface Duo 2 device comes out I will buy it directly from Microsoft instead of coming into a store.
I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the team members were. They do not receive commission, and still spent as much time as I needed to have all my questions answered.They even charged my phone for me since I was there so long, that I was down to 5% ! I am very happy with my purchase. I ended up saving $800, and coming home with a better machine then I planned on buying. I will absolutely shop again at Best Buy, in Henrietta
What can I say? Its Best Buy. Decent stop for instant gratification. If you havent been here in awhile they did reorganize. Computers on the right, cell phones right when you walk in. TVs are still straight back. Theyve expanded their smart tech and smart home offerings. DVDs are all but gone with streaming and online offerings. There are some stands that have recent releases but thats all youll really find for movies. There is a very small case near computers that has parts such as PSU, memory, mother boards, GPUs.
Brought home a new TV and it amazing. I could get it online for $40 less than store, but with wait and delivery it was just didnt worth it. I am happy I got it from Best Buy and now that TV is set up I can say that Best Buy is a wise decision. Just did not like that nobody offered a hand loading it to TV.
Bought a floor sample fridge because they could delivered in 3 days. Called me on the delivery day 2 hours after designated time frame and said it was going to be delayed another week. Will do anything to get the sale here. Go any where else for appliances and customer care.
This trip to the Henrietta store was great! I was able to ask some rather detailed question about Laptop processing systems and such, they had what I was interested in, and was in and out quickly! Other days are very hit and miss with there associates and willingness to help. Was very surprised and pleased this go.
If there was one location to go to in the Rochester area it would probably be this one in Henrietta they have an incredible selection of every single type of electronic you can imagine currently because of Covid however and that global chip shortage I would advise on checking to see if what you’re looking for is in stock but yeah this is definitely a pretty good place customer service could be a little bit better though.
The customer service here sucks! Nobody acknowledges you. Anytime you need help with anything.... nobody is happy to help. Some of the products are locked in cases so you cannot get help to purchase items. I tried calling the store and received a recorded message stating that the store wasnt taking any calls and was referred to a call center. No thanks I will not return to the Henrietta location.
My Best Buy! The staff has always taken care of me and I like how everything is arranged! The parking has always been smooth and the staff are very informed on all my techy needs! They sometimes overwhelmed when many shoppers coming at the same time, but if you will wait they will give you full attention.
Im not overly tech savvy but wanted a laptop. The guy helping me was awesome, I think his name was Barrett. (Henrietta store) He pointed me in not only the right direction, but found exactly what I was looking for. Was a great experience, even though they started to get busy he walked me through the differences and was very patient. 😊
It was the worst Ive seen in a long time. Most of the shelves were empty did not look like anyone was working. Ive had an account with Best buy for a long time and its the first time Ive gone in there specifically to buy something and came out empty-handed. not sure change managers something and it wasnt even as busy as it usually is.
Geek squad kept making excuses on why they couldnt fix my sons iPhone screen after we set an appointment. It was one excuse after the other. Once we fixed one issue why they couldnt do it, now they switched the issue. We waited back in line 3 times. Might as well sent it to Apple from the start.
When me and my grandson 1st walked in there were employees just standing around and I was looking for a specific area and was confused where it was....no one asked could they help me like the use to do. When I did find the area no one was working ,I asked another employee that was walking by and he immediately got me help. From that point on service was excellent. My grandson got what we came for and I got a piece of mind🙂
We really appreciated the salesperson who assisted us in advice on what TV purchase we should make! The salesperson was not pushy and provided us with all the information we needed to help steer us to ultimately making a decision. Thank you! Very happy with our decision
Ordered online for pick up at the store. Waited at the pick up counter for several minutes before someone was sent to help. Once the associate arrived to help they were great. Stopped in the computer department to ask abt laptops and the salesperson was less than friendly, it seemed like my questions were bothering them. So I left, without buying more than I had come to pick up. Probably my least favorite best buy experience.
I generally love best buy theyre really the only fully tech store around. But I went there looking for a gaming pc saw one on their display and asked if it was in stock. They told me they dont sell it online or in store and i responded saying it didnt make sense to display it then and they immediately copped an attitude with me.
Worked with Jaime looking for sound bars, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He patiently took us through all the options, narrowing down the options based on our sound needs and wants, making sure to keep his suggestions within the parameters specified, and keeping price in mind. He was very good with his customer service - giving space when appropriate, answering all our questions and looking up information when he did not know off-hand (which was rare). He was also sure to look at what was kept in stock at the present moment to make sure we could walk out with a product (although Im sure he would have shown us what could have been ordered if it fit our parameters).
Best buy does not have everything one would want. However, you can find some good deals here and there but be aware, if you purchase a pc from there, expect a lot of bloatware installed on pc in order to save money. Thats what you would expect from best buy. Not that there is much wrong with the concept but if you dont want bloatware, consider buying elsewhere.
The customer service at this store is very inconsistent. In the past, I have had enthusiastic, knowledgeable competent help. Today was the opposite . The store was extremely under staffed, and the staff that was there just couldnt be bothered. Ill most likely be back because hey....next time it might be a stellar again.
I went to Staples in Geneva, NY to buy a computer. The salesperson told me the one I wanted was not in stock. So, I went to Best Buy in Henrietta and they had the computer I wanted in stock. Staples has lost me as a customer and Best Buy has me for a customer from now on!!
It was okay.Not very knowledgeable staff unfortunately. At least not where their Amazon related products were concerned... not to mention low on inventory but given the circumstances of the state of affairs we are currently going though. It is understandable.Staff is friendly. Checkout process was quick and very easy
Over the past 2 years I have bought (2) 75 inch TVs, (2) refrigerators, and now a washer and dryer. All products have been Samsung. Every time we buy something it takes weeks to over a month to get our products. There is always a delivery issue or problem, or the product doesnt work.We had our washer and dryer delivered yesterday after we waited almost 7 weeks for them... they never included a stacking kit... so my wife did a 2.5 hour round trip to bestbuy to grab the kit, if not we would have had to wait an additional several weeks with the dryer in our livingroom floor. After we set it all up the washer doesnt work... the delivery guys never checked the washer to ensure that it started. So we now have to wait another l6 weeks to get it replaced. Here is the kicker... they took the old washer and dryer so now we dont have a place to do laundry.
This is one of the most wonderful Best Buys Ive ever been into, everyone at the store is friendly and courteous and knowledgeable about the products. Upgrading my cell phone at this store was one of the smoothest and easiest processes involving a cell phone that Ive ever had occur. Great job guys!
Good prices, clean store, staff following mask rules during COVID-19 and enforcing requirement with customers. Felt very safe, was asked by staff if we needed help and offered help later if needed. Very good experience and recommended to look at and buy consumer electronics.
This is the worst Best Buy; I went to in my entire life. I went into best buy expecting to get my phone replaced because they said they had it in stock and I nearly waited 2 hours to be seen by the Geek Squad. The customer service was terrible and the geek squad manger was very rude and unprofessional.
This company has taken covid to a level that I personally think is completely unnecessary, going as far as to greet each customer in a almost militant fashion which leaves many feeling unwelcome and uneasy. B.B. itself is anyones electronic wonderland and Geek Squad is amazing.
Went in to look for a printer. We met a gentleman named Barrett, who proceeded to help us decide which type of printer we needed. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We felt very well taken care of even went over and asked one of The geek squad some questions since we dont use our printer very often. Excellent service thank you very much!
Henreatta NY best buy is a great location!! Great people that work there. Only issue is that when I went to buy DDR4-Ram they had it in a cage and they were all in the wrong spot price tags were all wrong.. Kinda annoying when a product is behind a gate and still wrong tags smh... Other than thatGood clean store.
Best buy is the place I got my first laptop because they have so many great deals. I had searched all over for best laptops for the year and the people there were SUPER helpful! I was able to geek out on a game console and the associate asked me questions on preferences and we compared. I got so many ideas and I now have my eye on a great priced TV they have. Their appliances are also out of this world and the cinema section is such a nice addition that I had to double take and sit down for a moment. It was great 😊
Ive been to the Henrietta location a few times, and each time the customer service has been very good. This hasnt always been the case at other locations, so now I try to exclusively go to the Henrietta location.Going at 4:30 pm on Christmas eve was no exception. I had to return an item for something else unexpectedly, and though the staff was obviously tired after a long, busy day, they were beyond polite and professional-- they were cheerful, happy to help, and willing to engage in a few minutes of chit chat while getting the transaction done.One of the staff was incredibly patient waiting while I spoke with my boyfriend on the phone explaining the options available for an item he needed, while we picked out the right one. After retrieving it from the locked case, the staff member walked me to the register with it, and apologized that it was store policy, so I wouldnt feel offended-- I didnt. :) I explained it was to repair a friends computer which had just died, and he along with the young man at the register responded that they were pleased to be helping with a true emergency to make someones Christmas a little better.As has been my experience here, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and efficient in helping you get what you need in a timely fashion and getting on your way. Kudos to the Marketplace location for making the onerous task of shopping a little more pleasant, particularly just before closing on Christmas eve!
So I go here regularly. Always an asked by each section worker if I need help finding something. If I tell them no I get a let me know if you need anything. If I say yes then these folks will either take me right to it tell me about it and give me recommendations. They are certainly training great customer service. One thing people critique is price. Well I bought a computer for 900 and broke it within a week. I was asked one question and after that it was money or a new computer. I chose the computer. So Id pay a little more for that. But they price match just about anything! So just take your time to check this place out. They have a lot of nice tech.
They usually have what I need but it’s never a good sign when you order something online only to get to the store to find out they couldn’t find the item.Overall if you are looking for a tv there is no better place to go, the prices are good and they have a lot in stock.If you need something right away and can’t wait for amazon overnight, Best Buy is for you.
You typical best buy nothing really special about it they offer a large inventory of electronics be prepared to be approached by sales people as you walk through the store. I have never really saved a bunch money buying from best buy their prices are the same if not higher than Walmart or other electric stores but they do offer a great tec team and installations for those of you who arent tec savey and need help setting up your home theater or car radio/speakers this is the place for you
Normally, Im very satisfied with the products and service I have had there. They have a good return policy and decent prices. Sometimes, however, getting help can be problematic. Today was one of those times. There were five clerks in the department I was in. Three were busy with customers and the other two were busy chatting while I stood there looking for help. After a good five minutes, they both came over to ask if I needed help and I told them I didnt want to interrupt their conversation and that Id wait for one of the other clerks. Eventually one of the three came over and I got the service I had come to expect. I got the items I came for and left. I really dont mind waiting when the clerks are busy with customers. Thats their job. I do mind if theyre socializing while I stand there in front of them obviously needing help.
Place is straight trash at this point. Tried calling multiple times in the last few days. No one will answer the phone. When calling it says even with covid restrictions you can go in the store. When you pull up to the store there is a giant sign next to the door that says come in. Well guess what? you guessed it yiu can go in. So you cant talk to some one on the phone and you cant talk to some one in person so who do you talk to? Place is a joke hope they go out of business.
Jay, the Geek squad attendee, was outstanding, knew her technology well, in addition, her customer help as a person was equally kind and helpful. After explaining to her about the computer problems and frustrations I was encountered, her first step was to check the diagnostics, and with my permission, the hardware was checked, updated and ready within 24 hours, I am so great ful for such a super technology care by Jay, who works for Best Buy, in marketplace, henrietta. Thank you, Jay.
The customer service was great. It was just frustrating when I checked online to see if they had it in store, online said yes, only for me to arrive and be told they never carry the item in store. So nothing wrong with the location, that is more a company challenge than a stores.
Bestbuy is the coolest store left for us tech savvy people. We have to make sure to keep it around as well. They deserve a lot of business because they work hard for you. They have a lot of great deals and even do demos of new technology like when PlayStation VR launched a few years ago. You can tell they are eager to get customers in the know about new tech. I wish they carried more brands in high end PC parts in the stores though. Nevertheless this store is amazing!
Nice and big BB, Seems to offer more than the Victor store. Stopped by to see their smart home stuff. Two minor issues: theyre organized by provider brand, not category. So if I wanted to compare smart indoor & outdoor cameras, for example, I had to do a lot of searching. Theyre also not yet featuring Wyze. Amazing that Home Depot is scooping them on that up and coming brand!!!
I had the best experience at this location. I had a car starter installed that went great, no problems at all with that. However, I had a positive experience waiting in the large appliance areas with Chrissie, Giuseppe and I there was another he is new and I forgot his name they made my three hour wait very comfortable and like it was not a bother for me to take a seat in there area. I observed them interact with customers with such a positive attitude and how they are ready and looking forward to the busy time they will shortly endure. They went above and beyond aiding the customers looking and finding things that only one in stock and find it in the store they did and worked together as a team. I saw two very happy customers in my three hour stay. Just wanted to give them five stars they deserve it.
Why did you tell me to go on Amazon and order the battery I needed? Its available on your own website. Save yourself the trouble and go to a local business (like Rowe photo and video) instead. Theyre more knowledgeable and staff actually cares if you get what you need.
If you want affordable Electronics, Best Buy is the place to go. The problem is how much you are willing to give to get that priceing. Sanity itself comes into question when dealing with customer service at Best Buy. I personally prefer the great pricing and then take a deep breath and leave when Im done.
When I went in, the store wasnt really busy at all. I went in looking for a bluetooth speaker and there were two guys there and they didnt ask if I needed help. About 10 minutes went by before a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman came and really helped me out. Overall the staff is super friendly and knows what theyre talking about
Not good but not bad. Only issue I have is the fact that they specialize in electronics sales. With that said they should offer the same type of deals the internet offers otherwise I see no reason to purchase products from them when online shopping has better deals. Example - I needed 5.1 ch speakers for my pioneer receiver but they do not sell a 5.1 package deal without including a receiver with them defeating the purpose of my venture to Best buy.
Just wish they had people who actually knew about the products. The employee just kept reading what was on the computer description tags and not actually telling us what it meant. Ended up we bought a $500 computer and was really slow so we had to drive back and had to spend another $230 to upgrade to a better processor which I would have done to start with. Then they told us our Microsoft office would be able to transfer and that was a lie and wouldnt help us since we didnt purchase geek squad protection. Ended up calling Microsoft and they issued us a new product key. I would rather just avoid Best buy next time and actually go to someone who knows the product.
Terrible.. in a hurry. Needed new printer. Went to Greece, NY store, George helped me out, found the one I wanted in Henrietta. Out in Greece. So far so good. George was great, he said to purchase it here and just pick up in Henrietta. Paid for it, ran to Henrietta... Slowest service ever at pick up. 20 minutes on line only for associate to finally go over, pick it off shelve, bring it over to pick up, go through the dance of phone number request for 2nd time, drivers licence, receipt... Etc. I could of walked in, grabbed it off shelf, gone to check out and out of store in 10 minutes max. Store Pick up convenient??? What a joke.. Best Buy owes for my time !
I love best buy!! My only concern about best buy is I wish there where more deals for customers to come in to the store and not have to wait till the holiday season. Makes inventory limited and unavailable to the great deals for us customers. I would be in there much more but I only go for big purchases so I can put it on my best buy card. I would say when they have an item in stock but more expensive then another store they will price match which I like
Anthony Magnolia home theater department provided class A service. I was extremely impressed with his extenisve knowledge about every product I had questions about. When my boyfriend and I finally get a house Ill definitely be coming back to see Anthony for our home theater system.
I was just in yesterday purchasing a new phone with Sheamus who singlehandedly kept peace and order in the store (as a robbery was in progress) while providing me with excellent customer service. THIS GUY DESERVES AN AWARD. Sheamus never broke a sweat and handled the situation with ease.
Purchased a $1,000 ASUS computer in 2018. The computer hard drive failed the day I brought it home. Computer was replaced and again the hard drive failed and did not work from the moment it was brought home. Attempted to exchange computer for different model outside of warranty period (I live over an hour from any Best Buy and do not frequent trips to this store). Long story short I spent $1,000, 4+ hour long trips to Best Buy, and hours on the phone with ASUS/customer service to be told there is nothing they can do for me. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with Best Buy or ASUS. Learn from my mistakes and take your money and time to Apple.
The only place I go for electronics of any kind! Sales team and Geek squad know their stuff, are helpful and informative and friendly & fun to boot! Kip & Roberto were great in helping my daughter & I figure out the exact computers we needed...not pushing us toward the most expensive, but really listening to our specific needs.
Any one who is rating this store as a five star experience without giving any details has to be an actual employee. An employee that is trying to cover up all the negative feed back that they have gotten. Should there be one in every thirty reviews that is a positive one well, isnt that down right bad service?Every Best Buy website that I went to had more than a few negative reviews for every one positive review. This tells me that every store and not just this one has terrible customer service, that is not too concerned with anything but, selling you something new without making you understand what you are buying or why you are buying it other than it is new. Even when you buy something new there is no guarantee that you will not need another part and another trip to the store to make work. After my second trip back to the store to fix my initial problem, I decided to go to Radio Shack to get help to solve my problems. Though I did not buy the item that fixed my problem from Radio Shack (retail store competitor) I was given polite and courteous service and the information that solved my problem.So, I end with this:Do your own research get educated on your purchase before you buy anything anywhere and stay clear of Best Buy.Unless:1. They have the cheapest price2. You do not need any help from an associate (including warranty)From my experience it is not worth the hassle or the few dollars ($5 or $10) that I would save for my time and effort and the extra trips back to fix a problem that never should have required a second trip anyways.A knowledgeable associate should know if I will need another chord to hook up my device. Very disappointing from when they first opened.Excellent Customer Service seems to be a thing of the past for Best Buy
I mean its Best Buy I am very thankful that theyre still store around that sells electronics and just Electronics but not a lot of product selection and the Fiasco with the 3000 Series Nvidia graphics cards has been just a nightmare Best Buy stays out of stock like everybody else I mean its just a nightmare
I go here once a month on average. Its clean well organized and most of the people really know their job. They only received 3 stars due to the pushy people they have in the store. Sometimes you just want to browse and not have someone hound you around the store. That part I hate!
Very strange custumer service.Went to pick up 3 things and my attendant was super slow. No offense but some mature people should not be working in certain areas of work.Very slow and also not being capable of holding merchandise light weight.In a place that sells technology should have better quality for the employees to attend better their customers satisfaction.
Excellent staff. Extremely knowledgeable. I love this place because they are so helpful and don’t even work off of commission. They’re not trying to sell you on a product you don’t want or need. Always super patient and take their time to help you with anything you need!
Cant say enough about the employees & service! Got me scheduled for delivery, furniture set-up, TV set-up, connected & mounted, with all the product protection & service that I knew I would benefit by, & that offered additional savings - and even when I added to the order, they worked until they were able to complete the transaction without losing any of the service originally offered!! I was amazed....and so very grateful, as I had a special occasion coming up & it truly helped to be able to benefit from the completion of my tranaction. Thank you Jaden, Marc & Ben!! Go Best Buy!!
Usually I order everything online but unfortunately I broke my gaming headset and needed one ASAP. So I came to this Best Buy to check them out. I understand that they want to help customers but not all customers need help especially when you tell them youre okay and youre just browsing. I had about five people come up to me and asked if I needed help. I guess some people think thats great service but other people just think its annoying. They were out of the 3 headsets that I wanted even ask them to check in the back but they wouldnt do that and said everything they have is upfront. So I ended up getting a headset that I didnt really like but had to get one anyways. I dont really like having my receipt checked at the doors especially when the guy at the door watches me go through the checkout line and pay for my item.
Had to return my Samsung Fit due to issues with the screen. The gentleman that waited on me looked up my account saw that I had purchased the Best Buy warranty and told me got get a new one. Brought it back to the counter and was out of there in less than 10 minutes my new watch. Great service. One reason to not buy online.
I spend way too much money here, but Ill tell you why. Grandberry has made my experience at this best buy easily the best Ive had at any store. He knows his stuff, and can actually make it fun going there. You dont see that kind of employee pull in too many locations.
I bought a Whirlpool stove. It was delivered with 1 rack. I called immediately that day and was told to call the service line. Ive been hung up on by the automated system, given multiple case #s, made false promises, and stayed on hold with a associate for over an hour waiting for a Supervisor only to be told to call back again?? All for a oven rack that was supposed to be delivered with my stove.....so disappointed!! Still no oven rack, smh.Update: problems rectified.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff, including the Samsung Experience staff, at this Henrietta location. Wide selection of products. Good online and in-store integration. Sometimes really great deals. Often just average deals, but I limit this comment to the mid to low range products because I have not shopped any of Best Buys high end products.
This has been my favorite electronics store since it opened. The sales staff is no longer commissioned, but that doesnt really matter. Their staff still is always willing to help, and they know what theyre talking about.Recently, I just made a decent purchase, and I wasted a lot of time visiting competitor stores first because they were closer. The competition didnt know where my product was, and they didnt have anyone in the electronics department at the time. The manager had no idea where my product was located, and they were unable to sell me anything, not even attempting an alternative.I finally went to Best Buy where it took all of ten minutes to pick up my item, including a bunch of accessories I hadnt been exactly planning on buying. She talked me into it, and she talked to me like she loved talking about electronics.So, moral of the story - dont waste time - head right to Best Buy.
Great! Lots of helpful helpers at this store got me what I came for. I was in and out lickety split. Great location! Well stocked. Dont be afraid to ask for help sooner rather than later. This is a big location. Not everything was where is have expected it to be, so dont be shy, and youll have a great shipping experience. Heads up! They have decent in store WiFi, and they price match here to please my need for shopping local, getting the best deal, and instant gratification.
Customer service isnt really their thing. I bought a great TV here for $899. The price was later lowered to $799. I am 7 days outside of the return policy but they were still unwilling to match the price their own lowered price. I am fully aware of the policy but there is no reason why they could not bend the rules to keep a customer. I feel that other more successful retailers would take pride in making customers happy. Best Buy clearly does not which Im sure is one of the reasons they have not turned a profit in a long time.
We purchased a refrigerator from this Best Buy less than a year ago. It was a lemon and the repairs werent working. The manager made a quick decision to end the drama and give us a brand new one of our choosing, had it delivered in a day and gave us top service. We were very pleased and would gladly do business with them again.

2022-07-10Went to Verizon and had an experience with a used car salesman that kept changing deals and prices (for the same phone/package). We left because we just didnt feel comfortable. Went to Best Buy and worked with Oliver. He was genuine and knowledgeable. He got us the best deal on our phone and plan. Always better to work with non-commissioned sales people!

2022-02-01I rarely visit this store but had to get a new phone case and their online inventory showed they had it. What a relief to see a store guide the second that I walked in! She took me to the cases (hundreds) and found me help. The case was found immediately and the check out person was one of the nicest people I ever met! I left feeling very happy with my shopping experience. How often does that happen!?

2022-04-06Chrissy at geek squad awesome, fantastic, quick and friendly. I came in again to get my iPhone port cleaned and was amazing at how quick she was. She remembered me from the last time I came in like 3 months ago. I can’t believe how efficient she was I thought she was a manager how she worked with me. I’m going to leave this review on Geek Squad too. Just all around what I need from someone to get my phone worked on!! I will keep coming back to get my phone repaired. Of course I remembered her from before but to remember me was great. For my job emergency Roadside having my phone is a main priority! So thanks again Chrissy you were fantastic!-Jason

2021-08-31I have had the best experience here at Best Buy.. l recently purchased the IPHONE 12 PRO MAX jus a few days ago, and l have to say the Best Buy customer service team member that assisted me in the transaction, he was DOPE af. The whole transaction took longer than l anticipated, but nonetheless, l was able to walk out smiling extremely hard, because he was so dedicated with helping me. I can’t say that l have a great experience like that EVERY time but at least when it counts the most!!! Thank you, you know who you are!!

2022-02-19The people were great at first. Found me a nice phone and I bought the 4 year warranty. But then less then a year the charging port doesnt work and now they 2ant to charge me over $200 5o get it fixed. What is the point of the warranty if it doesnt actually fix anything. One of the greeters were also extremely rude and treated me with disrespect and confidence.

2022-04-09Felt pressured into opening a Best Buy card. Purchased a discounted laptop that was returned. Whatever the laptop was returned for was not resolves. I would recommend always buying new because you never know what youre getting with used items.

2022-03-22Great staff. Placed an order for a washer & dryer, when I got home realized that the delivery date was over a month away which was not what we talked about. Went back and it was handled immediately, no problem (it was a system problem). Only issue I had was with their telephone system that is abysmal. At first I had tried to call to fix the issue with delivery and couldnt get through to a human no matter how many times I tried, hence the return visit.

2022-05-24I am really stymied why there is no product in the store. I could order at the store and return to pick up but why would I do that? When I go through the effort of walking into a store, I would like to be able to walk out with the item that I intended to purchase. No wonder Amazon is winning. The Greece store has more helpful folks around. The Henrietta store is full of apathetic workers who avoid shoppers, they have a cue, if you need help.

2022-05-26Do you know that Best Buy tries to scam you out of $40 when you go there for help because the product you bought contains NO installation instructions ?The national Best Buy scheduling desk does NOT tell you there is a fee for this sevice when they make an appointment with the Geek Squad. When you try to get the store manager for some answers, he is not available. When you call back the national scheduling desk, instead of geting you a supervisor, they hang up on you. Best Buy is really a bush-league operation. Dont waste your time. Or your money.
