Arrived on Friday at 7pm and went to dinner. Returned and at 9pm turned down the beds finding a significant amount of women’s hair in one bed. The other bed had stains all over the pillow cases and hair as well. The floors were not vacuumed and had hair balls. We called the desk and we’re advised they didn’t clean rooms because of covid!!! Two set of linens were brought to our room and WE had to make the beds. I’m not sure if staff didn’t want to or didn’t know how to make a bed.We spoke to the manager the next day and we’re only given a 20% discount for the first night stay totaling $34.On the day we left my youngest took a shower and could not finish even with the water set to the lowest temperature. I’m surprised he wasn’t burned.I will never stay at this hotel nor never book at a best western again.
My family and I checked into room 301 on October 14th, my husbands birthday. This was also our first trip away with our five month old. Never did we expect that booking a Best Western stay at $200 a night in what is supposed to be one of your best rooms, that we would be getting such deplorable conditions. Immediately after unloading the luggage cart and settling in, we discovered dirty mens underwear on our floor. Unbelievable. Called down to report this to management and have it removed. Assistant Manager Tony seemed helpful and apologetic. Told me he would talk to his housekeeping staff, and to call him about anything else missed. Woke up the next morning to find womens hair stuck to the shower wall. Also gross and proving that no one cleans these rooms. I immediately called down and spoke to Sarah. She said Tony was not at work yet and that she would pass the message along. Sarah said housekeeping had just arrived and that they couldnt come until they finished loading their carts. Someone came later right when my husband was using the facilities. She came in and said she would come back again soon to clean the shower. We left for the entire day until dinner time. Once we arrived, saw that it infact was still not taken care of. Called down to let someone know. Spoke to Tony and he said housekeeping was now gone for the day, but that he would send someone shortly. No one ever showed and he never cared to call to let us know that no one would be coming up. Hours later I get our baby to bed, and head to the bathroom before we get our toddler into bed. All of a sudden, a BED BUG is crossing my path in our bathroom!!! We have stayed in hundreds of hotels, different countries, and even cruise ships and NEVER in our lives have we had such a disgusting experience, let alone a bed bug infested hotel! Since our baby was already sound asleep for the night with the lights off in the bedroom, we were not even able to switch rooms yet or check our mattress. We expect to be fully refunded and will be reporting this BED BUG situation. Not to mention that right as you walk in you see the nasty stains on every piece of furniture. Maybe invest in slips covers that can actually be washed? The Owner of this establishment as well as the Manager Michele on vacation needs to be made aware. We definitely will not ever be back here and will be leaving the appropriate reviews regarding our stay. I wish we would have known ahead of time that wed be putting our small children at risk staying here. I would have never booked what was supposed to be a nice birthday weekend away for over $700! This has been truly unbelievable.
Not a 3 star hotel. Every piece of furniture in the king suite had stains. The room is dated and clearly hasn’t been updated/renovated in at least a decade. This used to be the nicest hotel in Oswego. Obviously Broadwell GSA ran into the ground. Felt completely ripped off during my stay.
Great stay, nice rooms, the shower is amazing and the views of the river are great. Parking is slightly a problem but its a good problem, the hotel is always packed. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Security was equally great. Frankly I wish all Best Western Plus were as great as this.
Our first room had stained carpets as well as food all over the floor. Asked for another room and was given one, but was very unapologetic. The next room had candy wrappers all around the hot tub. Poor customer service. Still had food on the floor in the second room. Not to mention we hadnt even checked out when housekeeping just opened the door and didnt even knock. Extremely disappointed with my experience overall. Definitely wont be staying here again. Definitely was so disappointed considering it was my husbands and I first wedding anniversary.
Beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view of the Oswego River and Harbor. Our server, Emily was attentive and frequent in checking on us. The cocktail and wine list was improved from previous seasons. The Amarena cherries in the old fashioned, with bacon washed bourbon were spot on. The food was amazing. It really matches the ambiance. The shrimp crackers with lobster dip were perfect. The lobster that was served on the entree was open-faced with all the work done for you. The Angus tenderloin was cooked to perfection, perfect doneness and each bite melted.. We had a great visit and will be coming back again soon.
We had room 311 it has a hot tub the only one they have with a hot tub in it, the room smelled like human poop .. we had to sleep with the doors open. The furniture was stained and old and the rug was stained .On a positive note the bed was amazing , comfortable and we did get to sleep with the two sliding doors open so we stayed the night.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The river-room room had a beautiful view. The hotel was centrally located and very clean and accommodating. There are tons of things to do within walking distance including restaurants, bars and parks. Everyone was super friendly. We look forward to staying again.
The hotel was extremely clean and inviting. Room very good. Breakfast( full not continental) was pretty amazing- everything you could want : eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, homemade waffles with many toppings made to order, cereal, fruit and other options. Fitness center good. Beautiful view. We were very pleasantly surprised!
Came here for a night away from the kids. I thought i booked a room with a balcony and apparently i did not. Keith at the front desk was AMAZING. Super friendly and helpful despite them being very busy. He quickly with no issue switched us to a room with a balcony. Will definitely stay here again!
When checking in I asked if I could dock my boat on the wall behind the hotel. I was told yes, no problem. Upon docking at 1 a.m. i was charged $86 for docking. We were not using shore power, just tied up. Did not even stay overnight. Just about 8 hours. The guy at the desk was rude when I questioned the charge. I would not have paid for a room had I been informed in advance there would be a charge of $86 to dock my boat.
I hate to say it but, I made my reservation in March two rooms. And requested rooms together , but so sorry was there response. Then our room key was shut off because they thought I was checking out next day ,but I made reservation for three nights. Now we are waiting for our clean towels........ this is our fourth year coming to oswego to fish . It maybe time to stay someplace else....
The rooms in this hotel are immaculate. The room I got even had a full kitchenette and a small sofa, and I didnt have to pay anything extra. Of course, the rooms are decorated well and the beds are comfy, but the bathrooms as well are very nice - large spacious showers and all the amenities youd need. Theres a restaurant connected to the hotel thats fairly nice as well, and Id recommend you check out some reviews for it. The pool and hot tub are both a little too extreme temperature for my liking, but theyre nice as well, and there is a huge gym downstairs as well.
Nice, clean hotel right in the river. Full hot breakfast was very good and makes morning sort easy to navigate. The lady attending the best area was great... never let anything run out. Location in Oswego was great. Will definitely stay there again the next time were in Oswego
My daughter had her 8 year olds birthday party there in the pool room. Lots of room to set up the food table, and extra chairs for anyone to sit. The pool was quite big and all the kids had a blast swimming and playing with the pool toys. A few of the kids rather be in the jacuzzi. All in all, the kids had a blast and it was just a great time.
Fair enough. Price was okay. Breakfast staff went above and beyond trying to accommodate all the softball families in hotel. They get 5 stars. The carpets were dirty, our room smelled of old smoke, I had no housekeeping for our whole 5 day stay. Sick of going to front desk for towels or what not.
Worst hotel ever!!! Had a guaranteed reservation with a 3pm check-in. Arrived at 3pm but no cleaned rooms available. Several other families were in the same situation. My family traveled to get there and expected to be able to shower and get ready for a wedding at 5pm. Never got a room before the wedding. We had to dress for the wedding in a lobby bathroom. Missed the shuttle and were dripping with sweat. What a horrible experience. Their excuse? Sorry. It was busy today I would avoid this place like the plague.
The hotel was lovely but we came in with a baseball team and when I arrived, we were told that our room was not ready. We had to go to the fields for the day and when we got back they had trouble finding our reservation. We were put in a room near the front desk and it had no AC. The system was running and making a loud sound. I asked the front desk to move us and they said they Overbooked for the night and couldnt give us another room. They didnt have a fan or anything to give us. It was a very hot weekend and with the sounds and no AC in our room we did not sleep.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. It was a good halfway point for us on a trip to Niagara Falls. The indoor pool looked nice but we didnt have time to use it. The morning breakfast is included and was very good. There was a sports bar across the street so we could watch the football game on Sunday afternoon and there is also a nice restaurant at the hotel. Our room had a nice view of the lake and Fort Ontario. I got to take a trip down memory lane as I worked in Oswego a lot in the early 1980s.
Our first room had stained carpets and food on the floor behind the dresser. Asked for a cleaner room. They were unapologetic and practically groaned at having to do extra work. The second room was a bit better except the chicken tenders under the desk and the candy wrappers next to the hot tub. However we were just to tired to fight them at this point. Photos are of first room .
Id say 4.5 stars overall. We had spectacular weather for a summer weekend which helped. For a hotel in a fairly small town in a more rural area of NYS, this was very nice. The exercise area was great and we enjoyed eating at Alexs (one drink pretty watered down - stick with wine or beer). The exercise room is really nice and big with a lot of options.Only other issue was a fairly large spider inside one of our rooms (we booked 2 rooms) and a big web on the outside of the door (the room door - not the door to the outside). So a little more vacuuming would be helpful. Found some empty cans inside a stairwell but the hotel was full and think cleaning staff had a very hard time keeping up. It would have been nice to get new shampoo/conditioner each day since the tubes are quite small.Beds were comfortable.During Harborfest, it would be really nice to have maps, brochures, etc and people who know how to recommend where youre going. We ended up figuring it out but it would have been helpful and saved a little time.
Out scouting colleges for one of my daughters and spent last night there. First time Ive spent a night in a Best Western. Usually stay at Hampton Inns. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The best part of the deal was breakfast. Great assortment of bagels, muffins, eggs with bacon and sausage, waffles with what appeared to be and tasted like fresh strawberry sauce. Im an early riser and went down for breakfast before my family was awake. Went down for a second breakfast once my family was up. Would go again in a heartbeat and now prefer it over the Hampton Inn.I did not have dinner in their restaurant as my teenage daughter didnt see anything on the menu that excited her. Had dinner right across the river at a great casual spot, The Cafe on Water Street. Simple fare like burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, burritos etc. Very reasonable and delicious. Nice little find. Probably very busy in nice weather with outdoor seating overlooking the river.
Meh, not impressed. Room was not ready on time, we were told to wait and they would call. No one called us. Went back to the desk and found out the room was ready 45 minutes later. We were almost late for a rehearsal dinner. We then found out we were placed in rooms for wrong wedding party. Lobby seemed to consistently be backed up with people checking in. Room had bolt missing from toilet seat... the next morning (day of wedding) we realized no hair dryer and the other half was none too happy. Location is good, view is good, but lots little stuff that was an unnecessary issue.
The hotel personnel and the breakfast were both very good. The website was incorrect as to the rooms and our maid service was on the poor side. If it wasnt for the front office and manager, I would not have given four stars, but only three. I will stay there again if in the area. The hotel itself is very nice and the location is good. The website is not the problem of this hotel, but of corporate. The maid service needs to be improved.
I got a room at the captains quarters at best western for an interview the next day. The room was very clean and neat. There were two beds. It was modern but dimly lit. The bathroom was very nice and had a very spacious and fancy shower. Definitely an optimal pick for a romantic night. Additionally wifu and hbo were included. Having received a card for a free drink at Alexs on the water (Which is connected to the hotel), my significant other and I decided to eat there. The restaurant was very fancy with a great view. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and looked and tasted great. I would love to stay again.
The north end of the building has a party room. The sound system carried loud, obnoxious thumping through two floors. Complained to front desk which said the party would be allowed to continue unabated until 11pm. They asked if I wanted to change rooms at 9:30pm. If you stay her dont unpack, complain early, and switch rooms to the south side of the building. Large bathroom, spacious shower.
Very nice rooms and awesome hotel amenities including pool, fitness room, sauna, stream room, wonderful grounds for roaming. Clean room. We got a single King lake view room for our family of 4 with two kinds under 3 and it worked out great with lots of room. 4th floor balcony rooms are not covered in the case of rain which hot us most of our stay.
Excellent property, nice staff, and very nice amenities made for a truly relaxing night/morning. Breakfast buffet was very well appointed with quality options from waffles to hot meat and eggs, with pastries and breads and the like. And yes, several options for coffee. Quiet and relaxing.
Couldnt have had a better experience. The place is first class all the way with a staff that cannot be beat by any other hotel. I spend more than 60+ days over a period of a year in hotels and this rates as one to best if not the best I have experienced. The owner takes personal pride in his building - staff and every product he has to offer for his customers. This place is first class all the way!
The whole hotel is freezing. The rooms, the lobby. Everywhere except the pool. The room thermostat wasnt working. Complaining to the front desk, I learned the portion of the hotel we were staying in is normally closed in the winter months but was opened for hockey tournaments and sometimes the batteries in the thermostats die. He handed me replacements. About 3am, the heater in my room started sounding like an idling bulldozer. I couldnt sleep with how loud it was and had to turn the thermostat off, which made everything worse. The final kicker was paying more money per night since tournaments force you to stay in their hotels.
Stayed here during the Sterling Renaissance Festival (7/28-7/29), the hotel was fantastic. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The rooms were perfect and spotless, the beds were comfortable and the large shower was amazing. I would recommend anyone staying in Oswego to stay here for a relaxing and enjoyable night.
Pool, jacuzzi and fitness are excellent, beds are very comfortable and the hotel is clean. There is a restaurant pub The Press Box across the street that is one of my favorite stops. Highly recommend this hotel if u are staying in Oswego it has a view of the river that is very tranquil.I find it to be the best hotel in Oswego convenient to all
I was prompted to check-in online the day prior, so i did that...noting my selection for 12-2pm check-in. After driving 5 hours to arrive there, we waited hours for our room to finally be ready at 5:30pm-6pm. Our room had a broken screen to the balcony - the screen was resting on the building. Our room soap amenities were missing. On day 2, our room key stopped working and we had to request a new one while trying to get into our room. A poor experience at this hotel.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND This Hotel if you are in Oswego!! You wont ever stay anywhere else, Top Notch Hotel!! The rooms are Big and CLEAN...the entire hotel is CLEAN looking and well kept. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, you wont want to leave it. Loved it here and would stay again and again.
We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights, we were in town for a wedding... giving this property 3 out of 5 stars. The lobby you could tell needed work and had repairs dont to it but needed more. Hallways at night were very dark. Hallways in breakfast areas / fitness center looked better than the main lobby. Upon check in to the time we checked out, some staff was friendly but didnt know how to manage the front desk. Even the girl helping the others wasnt very knowledgeable either. Couldnt answer questions we had about local area, food/entertainment for the weekend. Had to get a new key everytime we left and came back to the room. The night attendant on our last night stay had to keep letting people into their rooms because the key machine didnt work and no one in the wedding blocks key worked. He told us they will probably need to get a new system since theyve been having so many key issues. Pool attendant closes 9:30pm on the dot, the attendant will make sure you know too. Thought it was weird since most hotels weve stayed at doesnt have an attendant and we swam at our own risk now matter the time. Or the front desk locked the pool door when everyone was done at the end of the night. The elevator is old and makes loud sketchy noises. Some of our friends got stuck in it for a few minutes. The shower in our room had half a door so water got out all over the floor. But some of our friends rooms had curtains and no door. Not sure if they are switching to one or the other. We used more towels than we would have liked. Half the lights didnt work. But we didnt care. We didnt spend much time in the room. We opened the balcony curtain in the AM to get more lighting. Cleanliness of the room was great and beds/pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good, attendants just talked to each other so it took a few minutes for them to acknowledge you, even when you went up to them to even ask where the bathroom was. Restaurant button on the phone just range. But we walked across the street to the bar/restaurant and it was a good time. They have outside fire pits, which was perfect for the cool nights. I needed up leaving stuff behind and called the hotel the night we left. No one answered the first time. I waited a little while and called again. The girl said she would be back the next morning and check. She was supposed to call me back and never did. My boyfriend even called and was supposed to get a call back and didnt. Finally we reached her and house keeping at that point found my stuff. She was helpful in getting the stuff back to me, free of charge. But did not follow through on calling us back to updated us. It would have been nice to even get a voicemail, instead of us calling them.Would stay here again, if I had no other options.
Though the facility is nice the incompetence of the employees in this place is beyond measure. I currently have been standing at the front desk waiting to speak with Angela Thomas , the manager ,who was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. So far she has been no help at all and my next call is to George Brummell her supervisor. We are here for a funeral and they have screwed up the reservation. Not only have they screwed up our reservation for us, but also there is another couple here that they have done the same thing to that is being forced to leave today though his reservation was through tomorrow. We have two rooms, one for our kids , one for us. One reservation was entered correctly the other was not, they are telling us we have to leave because they are booked solid even though we made this reservation weeks ago. They are telling me the reservation wasn’t entered until Saturday the 25th. They either have a horrible reservation system or incompetent people working for them. The customer service here is ridiculous. They are not good at resolving situations. If you are staying in this hotel do so at your own risk and have a back up plan for fall back. If I could give a 0 star I would do so but unfortunately I have to give something. They deserve nothing.#badhotelreveiws #homelessforafuneral
Very nice spot BUT... we had to dispute our final bill with our CC company...a FIRST for me to ever have to do. Then, I had some jewelry missing when I packed up to leave after a 3 night stay. All very unfortunate and the double black eye for them badly smudged the otherwise pleasant stay we had had for a college reunion. I believe they will made good on the CC issue, and perhaps they will offer me the approximate value of my two pieces of missing jewelry and the case they had been in, but the jewelry was personal and one of a kind in my heart. I am sorry that one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel ...it is a sad situation, when I have always felt I and my belongings were safe with Best Western Hotels.
The BW can best be described as an oasis in Oswego, NY, an old worn out college town. The open bar/restaurant overlooks the river which is a nice treat, especially during the summer months. The food and service is exceptional. My only complaint is the bar/restaurant opens at 4 pm, but because it is centrally located other venues are located within walking distance or short drive. When compared to the hotel next door (which isnt bad) the amenities like the pool, gym and quality of the bar/restaurant make the BW the best hotel in Oswego county. Im looking forward to my next stay. Cheers!
The Craft fair was okay. The coordinator Christie Ellsworth I think, was not!Ive been to many craft fairs, and this one was the most unprofessional craft fairs ever! This woman was completely under-skilled. Bags of items were asked to be brought in for the event. She couldnt even handle them accordingly. She advertised on social media and it was far from what the Botart explained. It was sappose to be a sip and shop. It was far from that! There was no wine tasting, like she explained for the event. She didnt do the work pertaining. But she did collect the money. She couldnt even do her job by advertising at all.🤔 Christy clearly does not have her stuff together. Wasting many different peoples time & money. She should be ashamed of herself. But you must first have the intelligence to understand. And then you add in accountability and self- worth. This explains everything on her part. Hopefully, they can get someone else who has a least a grade 6 level education. Unfortunately I dont believe, that she has the intelligence to understand that she needs to throw in the towel. Shame on you! For wasting everyones time and money...I hope KARMA takes care of your health, and lack of intelligence!!
HAIRAPALOOZA!I stayed at the Best Western plus Captains Quarters for one night for a business trip. On week long trips, and sometimes even on overnight trips, I may find one hair on a towel or on a sheet, but this one night at this hotel made those other hotels seem ultra clean!Hair #1 - As soon as I arrive, I use the restroom and wash my hands. I pick up the bar of soap and go to open the package and a long dark hair is stuck to the outside of the soap package. No big deal I think to my self. I am also glad I found that one hair and hope to be done with hairs for this stay. WRONG.I always check the beds for bed bugs. Good thing, no bed bugs here, but there is bad...Hair #2 - On the first bed I checked, I pulled the covers back and saw a big dark hair on top of a pillow.Hairs (plural) #3 - I pull the sheets off the first bed and it looks like they have never changed the mattress cover! It was dirty, stained, and covered with hundreds of hairs! This is totally unacceptable, so I check the second bed.Hair #4 - I pull the covers back on the second bed and see a long dark hair on another pillow.Hairs (plural) #5 - I pull the sheets off the second bed and see some hairs and some stains on the mattress cover, but it is not as bad as the first bed. I decide I can use this bed since I am tired and dont want to change rooms, especially since I guessed all the rooms would have the same dirty mattress covers.Hair #6 - When I go to take a shower, there is a dark hair on my washcloth.Hair #7 - When I wake up in the morning, I grab another washcloth to wash my face and there is another long hair on this washcloth.I shared this info with the person at the front counter when I was checking out. He said he will write that down in a folder. No compensation was given for the room.Other items that were much smaller than the hairapalooza in my room include: the heater being loud and kicking on and off all night rather than just keeping the fan blowing constantly and the breakfast area was rather congested.
My office has held our annual conference at the Conference Center in Oswego for four years. We normally dont stay at one location for more than 2 years. The facility location is gorgeous, right on the Oswego River, and the staff couldnt be nicer or more helpful. If you are planning a large event, take a look.
Best Westen Plus Captains Quarters is one of the nicest moderately priced hotels Ive stayed at. This is the only place I stay when in the Oswego area. The staff is always friendly & professional. The rooms are very clean and up to date. Many of the rooms, as well as the breakfast lounge, have been recently renovated. The complimentary breakfast is a really great feature.. So much more than the usual continental breakfast, they offer everything from waffles and eggs to fix your own oatmeal & yogurts . They even offer to go bags if your in a hurry. They offer In - room internet and a lounge with computer access and printer. Swimming pool & gym. There is also ample parking.Location is perfect. Its approximately 1 mile from SUNY Oswego. A short walk to eateries, shoppes and bars. Right across the street there is a great little place to eat as well as a day spa/ salon .I highly recommend this hotel.
The Best Wwstern Oswego is ....just “The Best”The location and riveriew of downtown is unparalleled. The rooms are well appointed, clean, modern, and comfortable, and the beds are just the best as well. The amenities including health club , great waterfront restaurant, and breakfast bar are super as well. Overall 5 Stars!
The 2014 SUNY College reunion is the first college reunion I have been able to attend since 2003. This reunion was celebrating my 18th bachelors graduation. I have missed many graduations because of injuries, I am disabled.I paid cash for 2 nights stay at the Best Western in Oswego N.Y. starting on Fri the 6th thru Sun morning the 8th of July 2014. And was mortified by my stay.I was awakened on the morning of June 6th at 9am with a hostile phone call from management saying there was smoke pouring from my door and I was to be billed $300 for smoking in the room. (My first thought was safety and to look for a fire). I immediately asked a staff walk through my room, they refused in the hall but insisted they smelled smoke. I was then rudely told by the hotel manager I was to leave and forfeit the nights stay I had already paid for or she would call the police. I INSISTED she call the police.Officers Porter and Perano responded from the Oswego Police Dept. Both were courteous and professional. I invited them into my room and asked them if they smelled smoke. After both officers walked through the room, checked the balcony and were invited to inspect my luggage, both officers confirmed they smelled NO smoke and inquired whether the staff had walked through, I answered no. I was with them when they informed the manager they had NOT smelled smoke in my room. I was still told by the hotel manager I would not be refunded the nights stay I had paid for in advance and I would be billed the hotels $300 fee for smoking in a room. --- even after the officers informed her they smelled NO smoke in the room I was in. My account was charged this fee despite the officers informing the staff they had smelled no smoke in my room.I want to thank officer Porter for asking the manager, in a somewhat pleading tone, cant you just give him his money back?” Initially the manager answered officer Porter I had not paid for both nights, which was a discrepancy from her initial story that I would forfeit the night I had paid for. When I offered to produce my receipt, the night I had paid for in advance was magically found again” in the motels computer at the same instant. Officer Porter’s conflict resolution prompted the establishment to refund the nights stay I had already paid for in advance. Thank you Oswego Police for a peaceful arbitration. I am sure you have more pressing issues.Again my credit card was charged again after this event, something I will dispute.I feel so insulted. This ruined an Oswego College Reunion I have not been able to make in the last 10 yrs. due to physical disabilities (I filled out hotel guest info including my state license plate info and disability status).I feel the manager working on the morning of June 7th behaved unprofessionally. She demonstrated a lack of appropriate social and communication skills. I question her ethics and integrity as well. I will be sending a formal written complaint to the Best Western Motel Chain, the SUNY Oswego Alumni Association, my fraternity and the Oswego Best Western as well.Sincerely,Jeremiah Bindrum
If youre visiting Oswego and need a hotel, especially if you have a relative in college there, stay at this hotel. They have the amenities you need and you can relax at the pool or the restaurant after dropping your student off or you can take your students roommate to lunch or dinner right there.Make it easy on yourself.

2022-04-27There are many reviews and mainly depends on what are things that is important to your stay. To me, it has to be clean and comfortable. That to me is a 4 stars. I put in 5 stars because one of the front desk lady go out of her way to fill my mug with hot water and few tea bags, honey, and lemon juice. This to me is superb service!

2022-03-15Average hotel, not pretentious, but with very comfortable beds and an excellent and friendly staff.I was surprised that they were not making the rooms (no housekeeping).. quite bizzarre.I believe it is one of the best choices for hotels in Oswego.

2022-04-05Positive: Location, Staff, room was nice. Negative: The breakfast was not great. The hot items ran out quickly. Also, I was not impressed that I was basically kicked out of the pool because there were birthday parties scheduled twice on Saturday. A major reason I decide on a hotel is based on the pool.

2022-03-23Positive: The Staff is excellent. The location is nice. Negative: We had a problem with controlling the temperature in our room. All night long the temperature went from freezing to the heat blasting. The first floor hallway was freezing. No heaters I guess. We stay here very often . Unfortunately this last stay wasnÂ

2021-10-315 star because of the girl at the front desk, Sarah. She made the hotel experience was and welcoming. The sauna was great and the guy keeping an eye on the pool and hot tub was great, along with the younger kid in the fitness room. The workers made the whole experience. The hotel itself had a few flaws like rips in wallpaper and a fallen border on the floor. Nothing major though! The elevator though, kinda scary. Makes weird noises and kind of jumps at stops. Very clean and well managed. The hit tub in our room was much bigger than we had expected!! We will definitely come back! 👍😃

2022-03-12Horrible stay had one of the special rooms with a hot tub inside paid good over 1000 for 4 days and the assistant Manger Sara was rude and nasty made my wife cry in front of the workers guest and my kid gave us dirty looks the whole time we stayed would not go back if I was paid to stay there. The assistant Manger should be fired rude girl.tv had a short in it as well and would cut off and bed had burn holes from someone smoking

2021-09-22Stayed several days for our wedding. Hotel was fairly clean, most rooms had great views of the water and it’s located close to restaurants - within walking distance. Only complaint is that the hallways felt extremely dark especially at night. Otherwise we were pleased with our stay. The general manager was very communicative prior to our arrival and helpful with our wedding block for guests! Thank you again!

2022-03-22Positive: How clean the hotel was, close to SUNY OSWEGO Negative: There is only one main elevator we had a long walk to our room, there is another elevator but it takes downstairs to the swimming area & workout lounge.
