This was my first dental visit at a new place after a two-year COVID hiatus. Shockingly phenomenal care and modern dental technology. I felt like family with how I was completely attended to and the comprehensiveness of the care. Jordan my hygienist was pleasant and a bit sassy with her assessment, Dr. ; 10/10 would recommend.
Everyone there had been nothing but great! I hadnt been to the dentist in 10 years and had some anxiety finally getting around on taking care of my dental health. But from the front desk, to the technicians, and my dentist Dr. Wu, you can tell they care and are very good at their job. Thank you to everyone at Better Smiles, Grand Island NY.
I will recommend Better Smile on Grand Island to anyone that is looking for a dentist. I just had two crowns done and loved that I was able to have each done in 1 visit due to the new technology they have. No more messy tooth impressions and waiting for the crown to be made. They do it right on site the same day. The team there is friendly and professional.

I wish I could leave 0 stars, our first visit went ok, then they sent me an email confirming our next appointment, so I immediately called to make them aware that my family would not be able to make our appointment and that I would like to reschedule, I ended up speaking to their front office manager Christine who gave me a hard time the whole phone call like the cancellation was prohibited! I ended up rescheduling the appts for myself and my daughter and told her I would have my wife call when she woke up. Approximately an hour or 2 later I called back only to be put on PERMA-HOLD by her for about 30 minutes, I then called from my wifes phone while still listening to the Better Smile answering tune on my phone, when she answered this time, I asked her how long of a hold is too EXCESSIVE?? She then got an attitude after leaving me on hold and started talking like it was her practice, at which point told me she was done and hung up the phone. I said ok, and my wife called back the next day to re-schedule her APPT and then she told her that we were no longer welcome and would be receiving a letter in the mail. I highly recommend taking your family somewhere else to a place that is a little more friendly!
The whole staff is excellent. I’ve had cavities filled, crowns and cleaning - great experiences. They were able to fit me in quickly. My first experience is when I broke a tooth. They took me that day and put in the temporary crown - I will always be great full for this.
From the reception area to the service provided by Dr. Jordan I had an amazing amazing experience! They made me feel comfortable and at ease. Ive always dreaded going to the dentist and now I cant wait to go for my follow up appointments. I know Ill be treated kindly and be safe.

I am a new patient and Laurie was my dental hygienist. She is so sweet, so accommodating and so professional. Very friendly staff! If you’re afraid to go to the dentist go to this office. They will take care of you!
Atmosphere, wonderful women and facility was the best I have ever experienced. Very professional and the name of the dental service matches the dental team, they all have beautiful smiles!!Special shout out to Ms. Jourdan Sutton, she was behind professional and was absolutely amazing with my 6 year old son. I honestly thought she was the Dentist and found out she is a hygienist. If I had a say, she needs to become a dentist! Amazing women!Thank you and we WILL be back!!

Extremely polite staff. They explained everything to where I knew exactly what was going on, pricing after insurance, etc prior to me going in. I would highly recommend this Dentist to everyone
I arrived on time, was greeted and immediately taken to the treatment room. The hygienist was friendly, informative and efficient. I had x-rays done. After the cleaning the dentist came in and gave me a brief check, looked at the x-rays and deemed everything alright. I was happy with the whole visit.
I needed emergency care and the office fitted me in immediately. Issue was resolved and Im thankful that Dr. Monie was available to help me out.Went back a couple of months later to have a wisdom tooth taken out. Dr.Riad extracted the tooth. It was painless and the tooth was out in about 90 seconds. Very expert technique and great chairside manner.
My elderly mom broke her front tooth the other evening while eating dinner. I called that evening as I live in Georgia and asked to get an appointment for the next day. They got her in and fixed the tooth the next afternoon. They were excellent and treated my mom great!
Very Good visit. I didn’t have to wait long and the service was great. I’m pleased with Better Smile.
I will never go back to this dentist. The receptionist and dental technician were very nice and helpfully, the dentist was rude and made me feel like it was my fault she could not finish taking care of me. I left in tears andmore pain than I went in with. I ended up having to go to an oral surgeon. Was not happy.

Better Smiles Dentistry ReviewSimilar story 8 cavities that required filling the last time one of my family members went to Better Smiles but never thought to question the dentist or the staff. We have been patients of that office for over 15 years and have diligently had our teeth examined & cleaned 2 times a year . The practice is much, much more aggressive than Dr. Ruocco. If Better Smiles is advising you of a mouthful of cavities my advise get a 2nd opinion before you allow them to start drilling away! Needless to say this was a very, very long process as well as very expensive and likely not necessary.
I went to get my teeth cleaned with Laurie. She did a fabulous job. She has a great personality and very professional. My visit was painless. My teeth felt great!
I am new to the area and selected this group of dentists based on my plan and also because they had several female dentists. I went to the facility located on Grand Island, NY. The staff are great and pleaseant on the phone. Online registration and patient historywas easy and fast. The facility is clean and looks newly remodeled. The hygienist Laury did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I hadnt had my teeth cleaned since before Covid (>1 year) and had very minimal pain (unlike some times in the past where I had a lot of discomfort after cleaning). Since my visit was a routine check up (no caitivies!!!) the visit with the dentist was just a routine check of my teeth. I was happy at how my visit went and I would rhighly ecommend this practice!
I wish I could give zero stars. Yesterday I went to Better Smile because my normal dentist was in a bad car accident and is out long-term. They referred their patients to Better Smile. Big mistake! I was having pain when chewing and after two x-rays they couldnt locate the source of the pain, but said that I had a cavity that might be the cause. They filled it. Today I was eating breakfast and a piece of a different tooth broke off (2-3 teeth away from the tooth that was filled). Obviously this was the initial cause of my pain and should have been easy to spot with a proper examination and x-ray. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your dental needs. I wish I had read some of the Google reviews before going there - seriously, how does a trained(?) professional miss this?
Thank you Better Smile of Grand Island for the excellent care you gave my 94 year old mother. She broke a tooth and it needed extraction. Everyone was so kind to her. She is very fearful of dentists but was treated with understanding and didnt feel any pain when the tooth was pulled. She was very happy with the result.

Recently had a wisdom tooth extracted. The dentist and her assistant were professional and kept me both comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. I experienced virtually no pain. I was sent home with detailed instructions for a complication-free recovery. Very impressed with the Better Smile team.
I had an appointment and the dentist tried to tell me I had 8 cavities. I’m an X-ray tech and a few of the spots she was showing me, there was absolutely nothing there. I knew it was a lie and she was trying to take advantage of me. Right away I knew I would be getting a second opinion. I asked for a disc of the X-rays, and they printed it out on a piece of paper. Pointless because it was blurry and pixelated. Before going to my new dentist, Dr. Dolinar.. I called Better Smile and asked them to send my records over. They never sent my records over, and I heard from a few people that they have a habit of doing that. Clearly they knew I was getting a second opinion. I went to Dr. Dolinar in Hamburg, he was awesome! He told me I only had 2 cavities, not EIGHT. He said some of the teeth the Better Smile dentist was “concerned about” showed absolutely nothing wrong. So it was a complete lie. Long story short, don’t go to big dental corporations because they will try to take advantage of you, and they only care about taking your money. 🙂🙂🙂

The staff here is amazing. The front staff were helpful and promptly returned calls when I left a message. The facility was very clean & organized. The hygienist and dentist were very friendly. When I spoke with the new receptionist on the phone she was RUDE and not friendly. On my first visit to the new dentist office I was shocked to get the same RUDE UNFRIENDLY treatment I received on the phone . They turned a great friendly Dr Freds office into a RUDE UNFRIENDLY JOKE! I wont be going back when I told them that the rude girl at the desk just laughed and said oh well .Dont go here giving them 1 star was being nice

Both great experiences.The hygienist & dentist both explained the processes as they went, making it a stress free, comfortable experience. All of the staff were knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain questions I had. Highly recommend. I’m usually apprehensive about going to the dentist, but this office made it a great experience.

2022-04-09The staff, hygienist and doctor did a wonderful job making my 2.5 year old daughter comfortable for her very first dentist visit! Laury, our hygienist created fun names for the tools of the trade and made the entire experience enjoyable for my toddler. The receptionist made her a coloring sheet with her name while she had her cleaning. She left with a sparkling clean smile and and experience that will have her eager to visit again!

Because of terrifying experiences with my childhood dentist, I’ve always been hesitant to to trust a dentist.That being said, I truly had the best experience of my life regarding something that I have always dreaded.Jourdan & Dr. Vu are both knowledgeable & personable, putting me at ease & performing their tasks pain free! Yay!!!I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m looking forward to my next visit.

2022-09-09I called in the morning with a minor chipped tooth emergency. I was seen that afternoon and they did a phenomenal repair job and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I could not have asked for ba better experience and results. In a word...outstanding!
