I have used Beyond and Bespoke Tailors multiple times for bridesmaid dress alterations. I continue to go back because I always have a positive experience. I feel the team there is not only friendly, but very passionate about the craft and take pride in their work. Could not recommend more!
Bespoke Tailors was amazing! I had to get a dress altered for a special event and they made sure that everything was perfect. They were so accommodating and made sure I felt good about the end product. They went through seve iterations and worked so quickly! I highly recommend!!
I had the best experience with bespoke tailors. They helped tailor my wedding dress. I went in for four visits, and each time they were very attentive to make revisions as necessary. I highly recommend!
Despite being measured to fit, my Indochino suit jacket was cut for someone with a much larger belly than me. After exhausting their free tailoring process, the jacket was still cavernous. Nick overhauled the side panels of the jacket and but new pockets, and it now fits like a glove. Nick could have done more, but it was out of my price range. Still, I liked how he showed me all the alterations he *could* make to perfect the jacket, gave me the pricing for each alteration, and allowed me to choose what to prioritize.
I needed alterations and repair on the pocket of a pair of fashion trousers, they did an amazing job, the waist fits flawlessly. I have complicated garments and will be comfortable bringing anything to beyond bespoke. Also, they are very kind and professional.

Recommend. Recommend. One hundred thousand times recommend.I came in two weeks before my wedding (groom) to get some alterations done on my tux thinking I just needed some minor adjustments. Well firstly, I was greeted by an EXTREMELY friendly and helpful staff who helped me right away. I was shown what alterations could be made (they clipped and pinned the tux to show me what it would look like) and they also told me what wasnt necessary and what they recommended.Absolutely 0 pressure to do certain alterations or no sleazy car salesman tactics or vibes at all. They told me the cost of what all of the alterations would cost and I was honestly taken aback because of how expensive it was. So I asked what they think I could not get done and boom - the price of alterations dropped in half.Still expensive, but keep in mind YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And here youre paying for literally the best of the best. So going off their reputation (Ive never been there before), I paid double my alteration budget. And let me tell you it was worth every single penny.I was complimented by tons of people about how great my tux looked and fit and my wedding pictures came out amazing for it.Thanks so much guys - you are real professionals.

Had a custom tuxedo, vest, shirt and pocket square made from scratch. From picking the fabric to choosing my design and all alterations Stacie and Nick were amazing to work with. Two talented young professionals in the business of tailoring is the neatest way of describing my experience and their skill. I got over the OMG what am I doing here feeling? within the first 15 minutes and by the time I arrived for my third and final fitting it was like going to family!
They did a wonderful job on a bridesmaid dress that I needed altered ASAP; they said the dress would be ready by the end of the day (and it was) but I had plans that evening so I picked it up the next morning. It fit wonderfully, exactly how I wanted it to! I absolutely recommend them and if you need something done same-day, it’s worth paying the extra money!

Got a suit jacket altered here -- a rather extensive amount of alterations on a rush job request -- and they executed it perfectly. (Seriously, it is so nice to have a moderately priced jacket that is not fighting a battle with my shoulders.) Nick and Stacie were both very professional, efficient, and super nice throughout.The consultation that Nick provided made it very easy to decide what kind of work to get done on the jacket. He knows his craft, and when he explains it, youll feel like you know it too. I cannot think of any reason I would not come back here for all my tailoring.

Jacket, pants and vest ..and even altered things I didn’t even think were doable (at least for a reasonable price - such as taking in the shoulders). Definitely recommended! I came in for an alteration that turned out to be pretty major and left completely satisfied! From making my appointment, to the way I was greeted and taken care of...especially with my rush job, it was a great experience! Nick literally saved my wedding day. 8 weeks before my wedding, I realized I had to buy a new dress. I got a lovely one from bhldn, but it needed some adjustments. Nick was not only able to put me at ease with his friendly approach, but he adjusted the dress within a couple of weeks. It looks stunning and I cant wait to wear it on the big day!
I am blown away by this place! I brought my silk wedding dress to be taken in on the sides of the torso, and not only did they do a FLAWLESS job, but It was done in one week, and for an incredibly affordable price. Working with the team at Beyond Bespoke was honestly the best decision I made while re-planning our Wedding due to COVID. I ended up getting a back-up dress from BHLDN and took to them for alterations and they were amazing! They were extremely professional and what I loved was their candid approach - even though I didn’t use their alteration services as they are pricier than the rest - they were very warm and made me feel welcome. I had alterations done for my wedding dress here. The team was very helpful and listened to what I wanted. They made suggestions about different options but did not pressure me. I am extremely happy with the work they did.
Everyone involved is super responsive, professional, efficient, and genuinely nice. Their space is clean -- they make sure to sanitize the dressing rooms and anything you may potentially touch -- and the waiting area is lovely. I just had a dress altered, and I am VERY happy with how it turned out, and my overall experience. I will be returning for future service if I need to, and highly recommend.

I went to Beyond Bespoke for my wedding dress alterations. They were very patient, helpful, and met my every need. Nelly was my seamstress, and she was wonderful. She took such care with my dress that it did not need to be cleaned after the alterations, which saved me money. Nick was there most times, too, and was helpful in translating what I was looking for into tailoring vocabulary (I dont know how to sew!). As with any service provider, you need to be very specific about what you want and not be afraid to ask for it - even if you have to ask a couple of times because things shift and change as the dress gets altered. This place is not cheap, but it was worth it! I also ended up bringing a bunch of other items in, and they did a nice job on them, too.

I went to Beyond Bespoke because I was thinking about getting my suit altered. Nick was very nice and helpful and showed me a few other things he also recommended. He genuinely seemed helpful and happy. After thinking it over I decided not to get it done and came back to pick it up (he left the pins in until I decided what to do). Beyond Bespoke is the best tailors I’ve ever been to. Nick listens to what you want and his team delivers. I have taken some pretty awful cut suits and Nick has transformed them into some of my favorite pieces. You get what you pay for here. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore.

I Bought my gown in December 2018 for my sons wedding in May 2019. Knowing I was going on a diet, but not knowing how successful I would be by May, I brought it in my regular size . Well I was quite successful which meant my gown was huge. I made an appointment with Beyond Bespoke when I walked in I was greeted warmly and immediately assigned to Work with Nelly, the best seamstress ever. There was so much work to be done, I had about 5 or 6 fittings because Nelly want the gown to fit perfectly and by the last fitting the gown looked as if it was custom made for me. I cannot praises Nelly and the other staff enough. Thank you a million times over. If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend Beyond Bespoke Tailors NYC.

I’ve only started coming to Beyond Bespoke Tailors for a few months now and have had two suits and 5 dress shirts tailored. My only disappointment is that I wish I found Nick and BBT sooner! Their work is pin point meticulous and I cannot recommend enough. Prices are fair, and as others have stated, all alterations are priced out individually so you can pick and chose which alterations you want to go forward with. Nick simply lays out all the options to make whatever piece your altering look perfect. He then consults with you and gives his opinion on which alterations to make to get your biggest bang for your buck. I also really appreciate their willingness to talk through each alterations - why they suggest it, what’s the standard / how should the piece fit, etc. Will be coming back with additional pieces in the future.

Ive been in custom menswear for about 7 years and Nick and his team are thus far the most reliable and skilled tailors Ive worked with. They have consistently performed alterations within any time frame given, and with a smile. They naturally charge more than your dry cleaner will, but you absolutely get what you pay for, perhaps even more.

Been here twice to get my suits fitted for work. Definitely one of the quickest and fastest tailors in New York. The owner, nick is friendly and nice young guy, who has helped me both times when I was there. Im a short and skinny guy and its hard to find the right size of suits for me. But nick was able to turn these suits into nice fitted suits. Im always getting complements at my job for my suits. If you want your suit done right the first time in a quick and timely manner, go to Nick at Beyond Bespoke.
Im very particular (as in to the point that I often find myself annoying) and Nick is totally accommodating of that. The suit and pants I had done came out excellent, ahead of schedule, and Nick even made a good call in disagreeing with me about altering a piece I definitely would have regretted tailoring. He reassured me about the piece being fine as it was and I appreciate that honesty as oppose to people just being sycophants to get business. They also have generous policies on free follow up alterations just in case things are not ideal after wearing them. Very glad I found this spot.

I would without a doubt endorse Beyond Bespoke.My experiences with other tailors often ended with the them telling me it looked perfect and them trying to usher me out the door so they could move onto another customer, even though the tailoring looked poor or not quite right. After my first fitting with Nick/Beyond Bespoke I immediately knew I was working with someone who cared more about the final product that he was putting his name behind vs churning through customers for more money. Nick started marking up the subtle imperfections and ripped the suit jacket off before I could even voice an opinion, it was that type of attention to detail that has kept me coming back for years.While Beyond Bespoke isn’t cheap, it’s definitely a fair value for the service. Just went in for my initial consultation. Im having them tailor my Paul Smith suit jacket, suit pants, Ted Baker vest and Tom Ford dress shirt.From my initial email inquiry through to the end of my fitting I felt comfortable, I trusted them almost immediately, and most surprising to me is that I really enjoyed the whole experience.These alterations are for my wedding coming up in just over two weeks, so obviously Im putting my trust in a tailor to make sure nothing goes wrong (at the very least), but ideally that Ill look my best. And based on my experience so far, I think Ill end up much closer to the latter.If something does go wrong Ill update my review, of course, but so far its five stars all the way. Seriously, if youre looking for a tailor and have very little experience with the process, as I do, come here. Theyll take care of you. They did a wonderful job, but was a bit pricey ($120) to get it shortened and taken in on the side (this was my first time getting any dress altered before so this might be par for the course)It took only 5 days and fit perfectly!
I came in here to get a pair of slacks, a jacket and a suit all tailored a bit. Nick more than exceeded what I thought could be done. I inherited a jacket from my grandfather that was a bit too wide in the shoulders, not only was Nick able to totally restructure the jacket but it didnt even show in the pattern lines of the jacket!Will definitely be returning with more items. IveIworked with some tailors that can do decent work but Nick is the guy Im going to go to when I want to make an impression!

When I went to pickup my three dresses, two of them were excellent and one still needed one more fitting. They did the final alteration while I waited to keep me from having to make another trip!!! If youre like me, finding a tailor and a barber you can trust is exceedingly difficult. Rest assured that Beyond bespoke does an A+ job. Are they the cheapest? No. Are they the fastest? No. However, like my barber, I dont want the person responsible for how Im going to look on a daily basis rushing through their work. As an added bonus, they guarantee their work 100% for the life of the garment.
Nick was absolutely amazing, I was on a very tight deadline and he worked with and made sure that my pants looked perfect. I was amazed how he happily answered all my questions with a smile and empathy. This is the place to go if you want to to be taken care of. His staff was also very nice, Will be gladly returning.
I dont recommend going to get your dress altered here especially if its a FANCY dress. Regardless of all the reviews they had, they didnt meet the standards the company claims to haveA tailor should be able to determine what is wrong in your dress once you try it on instead of asking. they are supposed to be the professional one. They made me come back several times and still didnt get it altered properly-terrible. I wont use their service and wont recommend them to anyone.

This place was amazing! Great service, very professional. When you come here you are getting a real tailor NOT someone at the dry cleaners masquerading as a tailor. The prices were reasonable for the quality of service I received. Wedding dress was in good hands here!

Took me a while to find a reliable tailor in NY but these guys are the ones. Professional, kind and skilled at tailoring mens shirts, jackets, suits. I assume theyre also good for womens clothing. You can often get a discount sometimes without even asking

Do NOT use this place unless you are willing to pay triple any going rate for alterations. These people are con artists. I have been in the fashion industry for years and my regular tailors were unavailable so my client went here and wasn’t given an estimate.
Pricing is good and standardized. The time taken to explain everything, including your options, to get you the best fit and look for your clothes goes beyond what Im use to. The knowledge, understanding and expertise of tailoring is second to none.
Im a regular when it comes to alterations but this time they succeeded to repair my beloved (and expensive...) Valentino blazer. Those guys are top guns. Thank you so much.

Very unprofessional. Very slow. Very unorgainzed. Very inexperienced.I waited there for 30 minutes. They took the a person in front of me even though I got there first. They drew and made notes on my pants without asking. When I finally confronted them, they asked if I made an appointment. All I wanted to open my pants up an 1.5. It should have taken 3 minutes.
They treat you like you’re a “regular” whether it’s your 1st time or 101st time there. Great service and always pleased with the product.FYI: they’re located in what looks to be almost an apartment/shared office space and they’re a flight of stairs up. So they’re a little hidden, but this spot is a gem.

I had a wedding dress emergency the week of my wedding and all of the people at Beyond Bespoke could not have been better!!! They fit me right in for an appointment, made multiple structural changes, and did a few different fittings (even in the same day!) to make sure everything was perfect. If a bridal salon ever tells you your dress is fine and just needs to be steamed, do not believe them. And if you have any problems at all, bring your dress right to Beyond Bespoke and they will save the day!

2022-04-21Beyond Bespoke did an amazing job altering my wedding tuxedo. Nick is clearly genuinely interested and expertly knowledgeable in what he does. He fixed some bunching in the back of the jacket, took in the pants so they were perfectly fitted to my legs, and had the sleeves evened out. I will definitely be back in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs their clothes tailored.

2022-03-26Seriously, I feel like I look like James Bond. The Daniel Craig version. Nick Torres truly is a skilled professional. I experienced his expertise as soon as I walked on the door. From the moment he pinned the shoulders of my sport jacket, I knew he was different in a good way. He explained his technique and why he was pinning the garments the way he did, gathered my feedback to ensure I was comfortable with the fit and the look and adjusted accordingly. However, he knows what hes doing and he only made minor adjustments based on my preferences. Whats also reassuring is that he offers a 6 month guarantee which puts you at ease if you get home and feel differently about the alteration up to 6 months later. Ive been to tailors in past but have never been offered such a guarantee. Beyond Bespoke is now my go to tailor. Go and experience it for yourself. I highly doubt youll be disappointed.

2022-09-08I initially came here to get a dress altered for my sister’s wedding and my overall experience was great. The seamstress did an impeccable job with everything I asked - from hemming, to adjusting the strap length, to adding a band to the front of the dress so it could lay flat across my chest. The end result was a perfectly fitted dress! Very happy with their service and Im now a loyal customer for all my tailoring needs.
