So I work on Brighton 1st and sometimes just don’t have time to eat. So when I’m ordering from here gyro 🥙 they bringing it super fast for 25-30 min. And food taste good and fresh and looks good. I never been there inside but I’m glad they deliver really fast orders. So thank you.
The experience was lovely right from the start. The waitress was very polite and patient. I had the mixed grill, large lamb adana kebab with rice and my gf had large chicken shwarma with rice and salad. We had falafel with hummus for starters and it was out of the world. I never had such crispy and gooey falafels. Every plate that came was a delight to watch and was equally good in taste. This place sits right in one of my favorite restaurants in New York. Im coming back to eat more😄
Super disappointing, I ordered a delivery of sandwich turkichs which seemed like food for an animal, they only threw the meat inside the bread, neither lettuce nor tomato, I wonder is it a joke, they should supervise the employees more, by the view the appetite enters, no I will ask again
They lost our order not once but twice. Called for pick up placed an order, asked if they needed my name, was told no. When we came to the store, lo and behold our order could not be found. Placed the order in person waited for 20 minutes only to find out our order was not put into the system since no name was provided. Basically was told no name, no order.
DIRTY UNWASHED LETTUCE CAN KILL YOU! I ordered from here 3 times in my life. Once long ago and 2 times recently. 2nd time i ordered it was good but the salad was a little off and im talking about the green one. Not the purple cabbage. It was dark and dry and old looking in some areas. Now when I ordered this last time the salad had literally DIRT on it!! They do not wash the salad properly here and this can get someone EXTREME SICK! Like in INFECTED WITH A PARASITE SICK!!! Just check out the show monsters inside me, thats how i know and i myself have seen little bugs on salad i brought home before. I was so disgusted i will never order from here again
I don’t know what happened but the place turned to trash. I work in the area and sometimes my coworkers and I order delivery from them. 90% of the time something is missing, a soda or an order of fries etc and the food is almost always cold. when you call them to complain you get an attitude from them. Make sure you check your orders people. Don’t let them rip you off!
Fantastic meal on all levels! Came on a date and ordered the kofte kebab, chicken gyro sandwich, and got rice pudding and kazandibi for dessert. The food was delicious and affordable (the prices under menu for Google reviews were higher than the real prices), and the staff was all polite and fun.The owner told us interesting stories about the origins of the desserts and Turkish culture, super interesting. Great meal on all levels, cant wait to go back.
So Disappointed , not like it use to be ,i think they have changed owners, had not been there sincebefore before the corona virus , but one thing i enjoyed is i would order a gyro sandwich and they were generous with the meat ,that you would go and wash your hands happily. My gyro had half of the meat .maybe it was just that time but i came from Manhattan for this .it just not Worth it for me . And the workers up front are all new .
Food is really good. But while I went there twice, this one time when the place was busy, the staff was super rude; I asked if I can dine in instead of takeout and the guy literally said to “take the takeout and go home”. Never heard of such rude reception in a restaurant.
I adore this place! They give high class meals, their menu is decent, The cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much trying all their food. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the guests is agreeable. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.
Fastest delivery 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻But today review for their forgetfulness. Im tired of calling every time and asking why they didnt bring me rice or salad. they don’t forget to take money for this, but forget to bring it. Yesterday I just didnt have the strength to call and find out where part of my order was. Last time they brought chicken instead of salmon. And so every time there are some mistakes. Yes, they bring things that they forgot, but for this you need to call, waste time. while they bring the second part of the order, the first is already cold!
This place was recommended to me by a friend and it lived up to its recommendation. The lamb Adana kebab was well spiced and juicy. The lamb gyro was very flavorful as well. The staff’s service was very good. Our waitress, Sila, was extremely nice and very friendly. The complimentary baklava we were offered was delicious and a very appreciated gesture. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for the great food and friendly staff.
Ok so Ive been coming here for years. Throughout Ive always loved it (lamb gyro, chicken gyro and mixed is what I get normally) and they give alot. I found through the pandemic they have been giving a bit less than usual but it still tastes amazing (its a pandemic so Ill let it slide because it never was an issue.)Anyway Id highly recommend it still, great place :)
Ordered take out from here via Grub Hub. Food came hot, and everything was delicious. I have no complaints.I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging. I ordered French fries and they were still crispy and hot. I also ordered the small portion of lamb gyro which came with rice with chickpeas in it, salad and plenty of white sauce and hot sauce (I also got tahini as an extra). It came with two pita type breads that were perfect for making myself gyro sandwiches, and some lettuce, cabbage and tomatoes. I also ordered the grape leaves (comes with 6) which were very good as well.Overall it was a good and filling meal. Small gyro serving can easily be shared by two if you plan on ordering sides like I did. I definitely recommend. 👍🏼
First of all it is delicious, has very good variety of food. The waitresses are very welcoming, really try to make you feel awaited as you start to talk to them. Prices are very reasonable and if you know Turkish cuisine, you will get what you expect. Moreover sanitary is the point i paid attention to as well. My family was so happy to visit Beyti
This place is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a superb lunch, this restaurant comes straight to my head. good and diverse food and a rich menu.courteous team, and pleasant spirit. Not less important, the price is good. I suggest this spot with no doubt.
I ordered for delivery 2 hours I’m waiting for food there lady on phone says it was delivered and paid cash I never received order and 2 hours later I’m calling to find out where my food is she tells me you got your food hangs up rude service I never received my food and I wasted my time I used to order a lot from this place I will never order again customer service is rude the delivery driver is an idiot thanks for wasting my night testi
I ordered two Falafel wraps and in return I got a mush ball and onions wrap. There are no Turks making Turkish food here. One came out of somewhere with no mask and started possibly contaminating food as he marched through the kitchen and exposed food checking orders. The woman at the register had no mask and she dealt with money and the exposed food area. One of the cooks attempted to cover his face but failed horribly. 3 out of 5 employees that I could see had 0 mask. FYI one cook wore gloves and the rest popped fries into the fryer without any gloves on. Cooks were cooking without any mask or gloves on. Remember that there are many people working in these areas yelling and spitting without any mask on or gloves. To make matters worst I had to remind a drunk man with no mask to stay 6 feet away from me until I finished paying for my order. There is a sign on the entrance door that reads, NO MASK NO ENTRY!The woman at the register allowed him to practically mount me as I was trying to pay. Lol! Telling him to back off is not my job as a customer. Just me asking him can lead us right into a fist fight in NY. This customer literally spit a mist of saliva on every surface as he attempted engage every employee. Guess where the orders are placed to be picked up? On these very same surfaces that everyone without a mask is spitting on or touching.Anyway 20+ dollars for disgusting mush and onion wraps and side of possible corona virus...Is just not worth it!
This has become my go-to place if I want to get some lamb gyro sandwiches when Im visiting my in-laws. The sandwiches always comes stuffed with me in a really great yogurt sauce and they taste amazing. This time I got the gyro sandwich and a falafel side. Those falafels were so good I wish I had a second stomach to eat more!
Excellent food. Try the dips like haydari and eggplant with sauce. The salmon is fantastic and so are the falafel, salad and rice with chick peas. Turkish tea with mint is great for the digestive system and the rice pudding is very creamy. The wait staff is nice. Inexpensive way to enjoy an authentic Turkish meal.
Good food. But disgustingly rude staff. Our waitress was rude and not welcoming at all. Another girl at the counter is even worse. Disgusting. Always have been ordering delivery from them, will keep doing it especially after this time. They need a better customer-service training for their rude waitresses.
Good lamb gyro but when its late or almost done, skip it cause tends to be fatty. The salmon kabob is light but flavorful. The cheese pide is awesome when fresh out of the oven. If you love cheese and bread then this is a must have! You wont go wrong with it. Grilled chicken wings are good as well but depending who cooks at times they over do it and could char in more spots.
Living in New York for 30 plus years and I must say out of all the Turkish restaurants available throughout the five boroughs this place beats them to a bloody pulp. I am not saying the rest are bad they might be great but this place is light years better than them. The Shwarma and the vertical Spit where it slowly turns and grills is a truly beautiful site to behold. I recommend a mixed gyro on home bread 100% percent you will not be disappointed.
Last night a small group of us came over for dinner. The facts that two separate tables that came well after us were served first or that our drink orders never came didnt bother me however when we asked the waitress for water. It was flat out refused with no explanation except that those were the orders from the manager when asked the reason why. We were very surprised about this. When asked to speak to the manager he didnt come by. I asked another waitress for water and she agreed to bring it but then totally ignored us. We ask about our regular drink order sometime after but again it took forever and by that time one of the orders came we were almost done eating. At this point we asked to see the manager again because we were waiting around for check. Finally when he comes over he was rude and tells us that he is the owner and that this is a fast food restaurant and he doesnt have to serve us tap water then walked away with no type of apology or valid explanation.Heres the thing I wasnt expecting a 4 star treatment. Were not rude or demanding people. We went there because a friend of ours likes this place and she decided to take us there but non of us will ever step foot in this place again. Frankly the owner was extremely unprofessional. I had a lot more grace on the waitress as its possible she was new and was following his orders regarding the water.
Visited this restaurant a few times and the food is always very delicious. The prices are very good. The staff is very friendly and smiling. The menu is rich as well. Only the space is a bit small. But If youre looking to eat something really tasty, this is the right place.
Fabulous! Small restaurant where the authentic Turkish food is absolutely delicious. The food is very reasonably priced and the service is good! It looks more like a luncheonett with dining for all age groups. The bathroom is unisex and kept very clean. The waiters are young Turkish speaking people who are very polite and who work to please. The Beyti Turkish Kebarb is located one block from Brighton Beach. It excells in tasty dishes. This place is a hidden gem and well worth the visit!
Their food is good but the cook is rude and very unprofessional. I used to be a frequent their but they have terrible customer service too. I ordered a falafel wrap today and they didn’t put any falafel because before I ordered I said to make it good, the guy screamed at my face that you always complain which is definitely not true. Also hungry people don’t go to buy food to make a scene so I don’t know what he was trying to show by giving me a wrap that’s just lettuce and tomato and then saying I was lying and he made it right. He did not even apologize at the end and just walked away. This was the most horrible experience I have ever encountered in my life while buying food. I would recommend not going to this store if you want to save your day.
Staff, interior is nice but food is bland, it simply has no character. Meat is dry, rice is tasteless, salad feels like from Walmart. I tried them twice and both times was a bit dissapointment. Since Mir burger is closed, this is the only place to get a kebab on Brighton Beach now. I wish they read this comment and adjust their cooking.
Not worth the money. I ordered iskender which came with a horrible sour tomato sauce and no butter. Iskender without butter is unacceptable. When I asked them if I could get butter on it they rudely said no. Such a disappointment from a Turkish place. Go for other options around and definitely avoid this place.
This place never fails to deliver deliciousness.Awesome prices for huge portioned fresh foodI highly recommend the shepherd salad w cheese $8.25 and the mixed platter $9.50 (five side choices and homemade turkish bread) and the kofte kebab sandwich $6.00. Their desserts are pretty amazing too and all cost $4.50.
Great Turkish food! The place stinks like a cat litter box badly though🤮They dont actually have a falafel platter for some reason so you have to order a few things and can get a little expensive. The tabouli, grilled eggplant dip, and bread is excellent!Warning...they use milk in the hummus!?? Yeah, its strange.
I normally never write reviews so this is my first but this restaurant is great I will definitely be coming back love the food and dessert that I had but OMG the waiters... do they not have eyes it’s crazy how long it took them to notice us and sitting there calling them like they are celebrities. NOT COOL only coming back for the food but next time I’ll be yelling just to get their attention !!
Yes, this is very very delicious Turkish restaurant around the brighton beach... first you must try lamb gyro , and you must try all kinds of kebabs, beyti , adana lamb sish chicken sish kebabs incredible delicious. It’s come with special hand made Turkish pide bread, it’s every time fresh and delicious, and very special food lahmacun, you must be try lahmacun with extra parsley and tomato if youLike hot you must be add hot pepper in it, it’s really really delicious. Deserts is very good too almond pudding my favor it’s has tiramisu and kakao pudding rand rice pudding... if you visit brighton beach you must visit this place immediately...
Their lamb and french fries are to die for!!! Lamb with rice and vegetables and not your typical cart food please dont think that. Its like having a home cooked meal. The small portion actually isnt that small you may have to take home lol. Prices are decent my onentip would be to maybe cook the chicken a bit more. For me it just seems undercooked which is why I get the lamb but the flavor is juice and oh so succulent. The chick soup is awesome. Great atmosphere.
Not good! Lamb Adana and Doner Gyro were both dry and tasteless and cold when delivered. Large Shepherd salad was not good either and small. For the money we paid we have received small portions of meat with a lot of useless rice, uneatable side salads and cold pita brad . We paid $45.00 for a few bites of substandard meat. Why be so stingy?! Not worth it.
Use to be a Very delicious food !!! Really turkish food made by turkish cook !!! Great customer service!!! My family ate there for eight years!Since they changed the owner and they changed the cook. Became a terrible place!!! Lowest customer service!!!Terrible food!!!!!Will never eat there again!
Foods are very delicious😊!!.I was very pleased for the Iskender kebab I had!.but..service was one level down from professional expectations.they did not seem very concern for the customer. It should be better for the well known name Beyti around NewYork and NewJersey. You should visit the place if you want to taste delicious Turkish kebabs😉and dont care much for the service.
Great service and really really good desserts and this place been serving the best kabob skewers and the best gyros chicken and lamb beside shawarma with rice and hummus and its great for vegetarian meals and the waitresses are so welcome and smiling the whole time and definitely I will go back again
Dry kebab nothing special def never again and double tax on the check SALE TAX and TAX. Be careful when you go to there about it. Its ILLEGAL. You can NOT charge TAX twice on 1 check. They refunded our money back but what about other people ??? They clams that serving HALAL food but taking UNHALAL money from their customers so be careful guys when you ask check!
Buying food from them since day one, today on 9/20/2012 ordered to-go from them, toke them 55 min to do the order. after 30 min I asked him how long more I have to wait since I dont even see my order on his grill, he replied in very rude way by saying F.U. call police if you want to right after when I said give me my money back then he was cursing me out on Turkish language thinking that I dont understand,I told him that I will come back tomorrow and speak to the owner about him, he replied that he is the owner. Well Mr Owner I will make your life terrible by reporting this incident to every possible department of NYC.....
Usually I order for almost 60$, yesterday order was almost 80$ including large box Shrimp 🍤 cost was 25$ When I open the box there was only 5pcs shrimps it happened before also sometimes I found just 4 shrimp in large shrimps orderAdvice: Guys when you received check each and every box in-front of delivery guy don’t trust the restaurantVery Bad experience 😫

2022-02-28Ordered small lamb adana. Flavorful and juicy lamb. The salad was seasoned with a bit too much sumac, making it too tart. Service fee automatically added to bill.

2022-06-05Ive tried the Adana Kebab. The food was Ok except it was too salty but i can say it was fine. As a drink i got Yogurt drink (ayran) but it was terrible. There was no salt or no taste in it. The thing is they put the tip on the check and they dont let you know. Also they write the tip amount on the bottom while you already have to pay it automatically. This is not professional. I asked my waiter if the tip is included because on the check, there was %15 gratuity and there was the same amount of discount. I did not figure out what is the discount for. I did not make sure if it is included and she said yes but at the same time she got the check from me suddenly and she said hold on, she gave me new check which was 4 dollars more than the other. Youre making mistake or whatever, but you dont know how to fix it right way. Thats not nice, i did not like the service, no water service, no salt, pepper or napkins on the table. Nobody checks if youre ok while you eating. That should not be like that. I dont think i am going to come this place again.

2019-05-29It is my go to place when visiting Mom on Brighton Beach. Food is always warm, fresh and to absolutely to die for. You have to start the meal right with Sheppard salad with shredded feta cheese and calf liver cubes. Take a few breaths after you wolf them down then hit the menu for main course,. Its absolutely impossible to make a mistake. Lovely people work the place and try really hard to deliver good service.

2021-05-03On Sunday night, May 2, I placed an order on grubhub for one Shish kebab W/yogurt and sauce and one shepherds salad. The delivery guy was very rude and unprofessional! He had called me and told me to come down stairs to pick the food up. When I came downstairs to pick the food up, he then left it on the floor for me and had given the tip back to me? At this point, I was very concerned on whether I should eat this food or not (everything with Covid).I go upstairs, opened my bag to find my shepherds salad lid cracked open like it fell on the ground and the whole bag leaking with water. They didn’t even add feta cheese to the salad like the photo showed on grub hub! I called the store, they told me to send photos to a number they provided to refund me. Long story short, they never answered back! I recommend anyone looking to receive delivery here to think twice, customer service is terrible and the delivery driver messes your food up and hands you back your tip. Never preceding here again 👎 you lost a customer!

2021-01-02Very tasty and fresh, seasoned well. Great prices. There was a nice ratio of meat-rice-and-vegetable and it came with a really tasty homemade roll which was *so* good. The falafel wrap is my go-to, it comes with a hot sauce that can pack a bit if a punch, too. This is my new go-to for local Turkish food. Its a great option for picking something up on the way home/on the way to the beach after getting off of the Brighton Beach B/Q line. They are an apple pay preferred vendor which I like a lot.
