Love the personal customer service and the immense store inventory. This shop is HUGE from the inside and the best part is - the owner is highly creative. He will go out of his way to give you the best and most affordable solution, not just the most expensive product. They work with you to understand your problem and then give you a tailored solution. Home depot just lost a customer. Mic drop !!!!
Great service. It was busy, but it’s a neighborhood store with personable characters. Wait patiently for your turn to be assisted and I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. I came in with my computer monitor since I lost a few screws for it. One of the employees helped me with finding the right fit. Better experience than the big box stores. Shop local!

I called this place up after my house and car keys fell into the cracks of a street sewer. I was completely stressed the F out as you can imagine. I called up big apple hardware, and explained my situation to HamidWhen I arrived he had an extendable magnet and duct tape ready for me. He was super helpful and kind in understanding my situation. I Ubered back to my car and I attached the magnet with the duct tape to a curtain rod and literally fished my keys out of the street drain. I recommend this place highly, Hamid was understanding and genuine. Thank you so much for your help Hamid! You earned a customer for life!

The owner told me to get on a one way ticket to China, because I interrupted him to ask a quick question. Maybe he was just sarcastic but it felt really racist. Im born here as a KOREAN AMERICAN. Left without buying anything.

Family owned and operated, small but surprisingly has anything you would need and cheaper pricing compared to competitors. Everything they carry seem to be high quality items.
Lousy service I had bought a Masonary drill costing me almost $24 plus tax and I had taken what I need to do it I wanted Drill a hole to place a masonry anchor and unfortunately they gave me a wrong size drill even though I had taken the anchor with me to make sure it was the exact size so I ended up with a big hole so I brought it back and they would not take it back. The owner tells me that I’m equally responsible for choosing the size since I took it and paid for it the fact is if I knew the right size I wouldn’t have bothered to ask. To support a local business and all these big businesses are taking over and we are losing local merchants and small businesses however a person like this or business like this it’ll dampers my spirit because he just lost a good customer are used to go to him all the time and now it out for few dollars it would not it out recognize the business that I bring up the fact is even though he would not take it back I brought the right drill from him yesterday because I just had to get the work done because he’s local. It’s a shame but that’s just the way it is

2022-02-23Got a shovel when it snowed, the price was $10 more then on Amazon, but the shovel was great quality and it was instant gratification so I did not mind. They look like a full hardware store & care everything you would need from a hardware store. I usually buy from Amazon for the convivence of prime, but its nice to know theres a local spot that could provide last minute tools and hardware needed to do the job.

The store is deceptively large and contains a huge selection for such a seemingly small store. Would highly recommend shopping here for all your hardware and project needs whether large or small!

2021-03-31Review is for key copying services. I visited two Home Depot locations prior to coming here, and also called many locksmith businesses to see if they offered key copying services. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it was nearly impossible to find a place. Home Depot gave me wrong keys twice and told me one of the keys they couldn’t even copy. Came to big Apple hardware and got all 3 keys copied and ready in less than 10 minutes. They had the exact model of each key and the keys were copied with 100% accuracy. Highly recommend this place. They know what they’re doing!

2020-04-28Ive been a customer for around 20 years. Great selection of hardware and non-hardware products and excellent customer service and prices. If you need a special order they will do their best to get it for you as quickly as possible. Solid neighborhood hardware store which is a convenient alternative to waiting on line or for customer service at a Home Depot. Currently they have much needed PPE supplies.
