Always find good deals n come out with more than I planned

Reasonable prices but nothing worth dieing for haha. The store is big, clean and well organized. Staff is helpful as well and generally friendly. You dont see Big Lots as often anymore so its nice to still have this one.They a neat selection and I always end up finding what I need here. Could be better, but its definitely good enough!

Dis-organized, you need to search for staff, no greetings or pleasing atmosphere. They do have furniture so I give a 3 stars. I prefer the one on Vandenburgh ave people are more greatful if your not looking for furniture.

Feels like a convenience store had a baby with a K Mart. Its not a bad place just one step up from dollar store product quality. You can buy food like canned items, cereal ect as well as household items like TP and laundry detergent but its mostly the dollar store level goods. Some of which are as good as name brand. Prices are a bit high for the quality IMO. The furniture can be expensive like $600+ for a sofa that will fall apart in a year. But definitely worth a look as you may find a real good deal on some items.
Area isnt good and has alot of bums and drug addicts roaming around the parking lot. It does have a good selction of stuff though with great sales. Furniture is decent and very inexpensive and the workers are always friendly.
I like Big Lot but this one could use some help item pricing, maybe more in hardware and auto. employees were helpful. Some good furniture clearance. Some other Big Lots have refrigerated/frozen food.
I like shopping at big lots. They at times have products that you wont find anywhere. Very nice place 😊
The Big Lots Store on Hoosick Street in Troy is the friendliest store I have been in. We started purchasing items there last year and we keep going back because of the Manager, Melissa Densmore and her friendly staff. They are always asking if you need help and treat you more like family than as a customer. They have great items and are very reasonably priced. We recently purchased a sectional sofa there and we love it and did not have to break the bank for it. Be sure to ask for Melissa when you go.

Have gone to Big Lots since they first opened after Ames left. I always find stuff to buy again and again for some good price lower than other places. But if you see it today you may not see it another day.

Good place to find almost everything but, watch the new paper bags. They are not strong as they look. Mine ripped right after I took it out of my car and all I had was the handles.

Very deep discounts on just about everything in the store. The only drawback is that the Time to buy it is when you see it, as they usually dont have much back stock. Usually they dont get large amounts of any given product.

Good deals on mostly lower tier products and overstocks. Great selection of housewares. Dont ignore the unique food selection including coffees and teas.

Love this place on Hoosick St Troy. It has all kinds of seasonal needs and prices are good.. Only drawback - hard to get employee help and items can be picked over and can be broken I shop there a lot.

DONT EVER BUY THERE PET FOOD MY DOG GOT REALLY SICK AFTER EATING THERE PET FOOD DUE TO IT BEING OVER 2 MONTHS EXPIRED AND STILL ON THERE SHELVES. I HAD TO PAY A VERY EXPENSIVE VET BILL TO HAVE MY PUPPY STOMACH FLUSHED IM WAITING TO HEAR FROM THERE CORPORATE OFFICE IN REGARDS TO MY VET BILL.

2021-10-08Big Lots prices and selections cant be best. You can buy everything from food to a recliner and everything in between. The clearance area is a nice plus. Their Buzz Club gives you a wonderful discount periodically. Its free, too! Next time you need cat food, a new mattress, some soda or cereal, make up or other health and beauty items, shop at Big Lots.

2021-09-08Ive been to this Big Lots quite a number of times since moving back to the area, and Ive found that some of the furniture has the best quality vs. price ratio in the area. Having said that, absolutely five stars for their furniture department. Theres a woman who works in the furniture department who has been very helpful every time weve visited, and a younger guy who helped us get an absolute beast of a dresser onto our car. I apologize for not catching their names, but they were great.One star off for a rather poor product selection in other areas of the store. That could be due to global supply chain issues, however.

2021-04-23This was the first big lots I had ever been too, so please keep that in mind.I suppose that my big criticism would be that they need to be more creative with their layout and inventory to differentiate themselves.This store is so large and sparse that I actually thought to myself where did the other half of this Walmart disappear to?Obviously they have a wider selection of housing items and that comparison isnt really fair. I was even able to buy the under the bed storage containers I needed and couldnt find in the nearby Walmart.I think Ill definitely consider them should my apartment needs some more sprucing up.
