When I asked what was the point of my making a 9 AM appointment? I was told its just to get you on the calender. BUYER BEWARE. Service is terrible.
Andy Smith wasthe best sales person i have EVER dealt with at the Binghamton Chrysler dodge location. We communicated for a few weeks back and forth and he was always pleasent, even when I wanted a certain color and price range. He always got right back to me. I purchased a new ram 2500 (diesel) from this dealership. I dealt with Tim.Being this is my 1st time purchasing a brand new Truck, I was nervous about the process and financing.I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly things went.It truly was a pleasure dealing with Tim Whiteman and Mike McCarthyThey were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant.I had prepared myself to deal with all kinds of issues and slick salesmans tactics, I had been so warned about by friends and family. Surprisingly there were no issues.. It was completely painless throughout the entire process, It was also quick and easy. From the test drive, Pricing, Options, Financing, Tags, throughout driving home my new truck. There were no surprises. I felt like I was dealing with an honest and reputable dealership. I drove over 3 hours to get to this dealership because they had a vehicle I was looking for, In the future I would do the drive just to deal with this place. Tim took the time to explain all the features before I drove off ........I highly recommend this dealership as it was very pleasant to purchase my new truck from them. Good old fashioned customer service, honesty and integrity! It still exists at this dealership.
Told us we had the exact model reserved for a $500 refundable deposit taken over the phone. Drove from Pennsylvania to be told they didnt have it reserved for us, but could get us one in a different color. After agreeing to keep the deposit on the new color car until it came in, we shopped around. We found the car we wanted at the same price, but the new dealership offered us a larger rebate and better trade in. When I called Binghamton Dodge for a refund they told me I would have to go there to process it, even though they took the deposit over the phone.
We were on the road across the countryand needed to have an issue checked out on our car. They were so good about getting us in and checking out the situation right away. The quickest, nicest, friendliest service I have ever experienced with our car. Thank you Binghamton Chrysler!!!
This place has given dodge a very bad name and they are very bad business I have made at least three appointments and waited weeks like five weeks I’ve waited and they called me the day before and say your appointment is canceled we don’t have nobody to look at your car so this is a bad place to take your Dodge or buy a Dodge vehicle from because if anything happens to your car they’re not gonna be able to look at it and fix it in a reasonable timeframe so I suggest you go to another Dodge dealership besides this one I’d give this dealership a rating of four thumbs down
We just signed our second lease thru Binghamton Chrysler for a beautiful Ram Bighorn. We couldn’t decide whether to buy out our existing lease or go for a new one. Our salesman Andy Smith ran all the numbers for us, no pressure. We weren’t sure, so we went home and after we’re home 10 minutes my husband says, let’s go back tomorrow and get the truck.We were very comfortable with the way Andy did everything to show us what we wanted and was very gracious when we said no. I like this dealership and the way they operate.
I delt with Don Taylor. He was very pleasant to deal with. The car was ready when promised for delivery. He spent time explaining the features of the Gran cherokee L. However taking advantage of the XM satellite offer was a process on my part. After contacting him he did figure out the problem. Apparently the general manager failed to register my purchase of the vehicle with Xm.
I recently purchased a Jeep Compass. Mike in sales was great and helped me complete all the details of the sale over the phone and via email. All I had to do was sign and I was able to drive off in my new car. The entire dealership team is very nice and will ensure you get what you need!
I purchased a leftover Ram diesel. Fair pricing and good service. I was upside down in my trade but they were able to get me great finance options that I could afford. Not sure why some reviews are saying negative things about trade in values, maybe yoir car isnt worth as much to them as you?
This is on regards to their service center. I had an issue with my Town and Country, and since this is the only dealership in Binghamton, I took it in to be looked at. I was quoted $1500 for the repair, so I got a second opinion. Mind you, I spent $90 for a full diagnostic. I ended up taking my van to a local body shop, since he quoted me $1000, based on the dealership diagnostic. Result: A stuck rod, two hours of labor and some lube, grand total of $135. I have no trust that the Binghamton Chrysler Dodge Jeep team would have just lubed the part instead of replacing the whole mechanism. I wont be back.
Bought a vehicle here on 4-2-21. I received no paperwork the day I picked up the vehicle, salesman stated that I’d receive a packet in the mail with everything I needed to to get my PA license plate, so I left with an in transit tag which expired in 28 days. Received no packet in the mail, so I began calling to find out where it was, as my in transit was close to expiring. After several days of calling, with no results, the manager finally called and said my plate and registration were at a notary an hour away from me. I had to leave my job and drive there, since my in transit tag expired that day. The notary had just received the paperwork the night before, so Bing. Chrysler had obviously not done their job. Very unprofessional and will not do business there in the future.
The car deal was very easy and seamless. I test drove two cars. The cars were waiting, ready, and my sales associate even came right out to my car before I even exited the vehicle. I was well taken care of by everyone involved. My old plates were transferred straight over to my new vehicle upon signing and I never needed to go to the dmv, unlike my poor gault experience.
From the minute we walked into Binghamton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram it was a great experience. Our salesman Ryan Dailey and the sales manager were very knowledgeable, patient, professional and kind. They both worked hard to find us the exact vehicle we were looking for, and we are very happy with our 2021 Dodge Durango!!
A very pleasurable experience! I brought my Town & Country in for an oil change and was told by the service manager my inspection was three months overdue. They were kind enough to inspect my van right then and there and the wait time was minimal. I was treated with respect by the service personnel, which is more than I can say for other local dealerships I have visited in the past. Give them a try!
This branch & John were great!! I was able to end my lease early because of high mileage and get into a 2021 Jeep with so many more features ! I couldnt be happier, the whole process took less than a couple of hours, and i picked up my brand new vehicle the next day. So excited to be driving a brand new Cherokee! Thank you!
I brought a family member down here yesterday to pick up their new used vehicle. They paid around $12,000 for the used vehicle. When they got into the car to drive away, the gas light was on and the vehicle gas gauge was below empty. Im not sure I would ever do business with a place like this. Too many other car dealers out there. Gas is cheap, customer care is priceless.
Bought the truck sight unseen. They sent me paperwork to complete the transaction. When I arrived it was even better than described. Tim picked me up from the rental car agency and allowed me to test drive the truck before leaving. It was fully detailed and fueled up. An overall great experience.
Had an amazing experience from the moment we stepped on the lot. Tim Whiteman was very friendly and professional through the whole process. We were never pushed towards a certain vehicle and he listened to our needs rather than putting us into the most expensive thing he could find. We were made to feel as if he cared about us as people rather than a customer. He even got us a much better finance package than we already had going in! Highly recommended!

Do not buy anything from this dealership my wife got 2 cars from there one right after the other and BOTH cars developed MAJOR UNFIXABLE mechanical problems within 2 years of ownership and the dealership could care less that we paid good money for these lemons and all they want to do is give us some half-baked diagnosis and expect us to just throw a part at it hoping that fixes the problem. Not only did they sell us a lemon they sold us TWO lemons and on top of it did NOTHING to amend making a bad sale. At this point I am convinced that Binghamton Chrysler intentionally buys cars that are a lost cause so they can fill their lot for cheap and make temporary fixes with bubble gum and toothpicks so they can sell them for top dollar to make a HUGE profit. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP you will regret it.
Sales, was ok for the most part. After getting financing I went to fill out paperwork and the person I dealt with was not very concerned about how I felt about certain things. Like letting banks run my credit check and I told him that would mess with my score he told no it doesnt. Well it does. I went from 798 which is great on credit karma and now its like 704 which is fair. Secondly after the deal was done they handed me the keys and said have fun. Ive bought several over vehicles elsewhere and they have always had the salesman who sold you the vehicle take you out and show you how everything works. Well I got home and found out my radio which has Sirius xm didnt work, I have a account with them for my other 2 vehicles. Sirius sent multiple refresher signals and wouldnt work. Took the back with a small list of other things wrong and gave it to one of the sales managers who kinda struck me like wow your making a big deal out of this stuff, its a used car. One of the things on the list was the car wasnt cleaned properly for delivery. Well almost a week later I finally got the car back everything was fixed. But the car again wasnt cleaned properly for delivery. Waxing or buffing the car is not what I call cleaned up for delivery. You need to get someone who knows how to vacuum and wash windows. We had to stop at a gas station and get windex and paper towels so we could see out the windows. But as far as a loaner car I will say they did great job, usually a loaner car at other places is usually a junk, but this place gave me a 2016 Chrysler 200 to drive. Thank you for that.
DO NOT, go here for service. When in with a large service list, was charged over $3000, and nothing was fixed. Was told after 40 days the repairs couldnt be made, and was going to get a partial refund. When I went to get the vehicle and the refund, I was told that a refund was never promised and that I had misunderstood them. Now Im out the cost of the repairs that couldnt be performed, basically stolen money, plus time they have put me out. And I have to find someone else to do the repairs. Be warned.
Went to Binghamton BCDJ after visiting several other dealerships in the area and realizing how almost impossible it was going to be get a mini van that would fit my families budget. I went in with high hopes but low expectation now that I knew the realistic monthly payment on a mini van was out of our budget, but as soon as Ken Burton greeted me and started talking about my options my things started to look better. In the end Ken, Bill the sales manager, and Mike in finance got us a better deal than we could have hoped for and has made it possible for our growing family to still have a means of transportation! Thanks to the whole team here for the dedication and hard work to make us extremely satisfied customers!!

What a wonderful experience after an equally terrible experience at a local dealership here in the capital district. My experience with Binghamton Chrysler has renewed my faith in auto dealers and sales personnel which had been damaged for many years. They offered old fashioned customer service and delivered on EVERYTHING they promised and in the promised time frame which is all that most customers are looking for. Specifically I want to thank Tim and Jennifer for the respect that they showed me . I will recommend Binghamton Chrysler to all of my friends!.
WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Rude and absolutely HORRIBLE management. The financial manager as well had a really bad attitude and asked alot of personal questions that you wouldnt just ask a customer . Worst employee there BY FAR. To start they sent my car to a small garage down the road to get serviced before I bought it because apparently they send over projects they dont want to do or deal with when I figured that I was buying a car from a big dealership and their certified mechanics would look it over and work on it if need be . The mechanic that worked on my car never tightened the oil filter on my car and it had absolutely no oil and has a leak as well. Mind you I wrote them a check . I wasnt making payments. It was a brand new car and they wont put a warranty on it or fix the problem. They said they can change my oil if I want to bring it in . I went in to talk to the manager and he said I was lying and making everything up about the car because I didnt have proof!! They are crooks and absolutely horrible people to deal with. Dont waste your time!!
Im in the process of moving back to NY from NC and stopped into this dealership to ask about an inspection and also ask about mounting my new front license plate. Had to order a bracket and shell out another $22 for my brand new 2015 Journey. Service department wasnt much better...earliest I would be able to get my inspection done would be July 7th, 4 days after my temporary inspection expires. So far, this new customer is not impressed and hope nothing breaks thats covered by my warranty anytime soon.
I went to look at Jeep Cherokee’s last week. The service was awful, a sales man Jonny was trying to help me I told him that I was just looking right now and didn’t want any help at the moment but when I was ready I would let him know. So he creepily watched me thru the windows as I looked at cars while he shook his head. Then he came out and got keys to a burgundy Jeep Cherokee. Then he awkwardly watched me look at the inside of the car, he ended up getting upset because I had told him I didn’t need help at the beginning so he ended up arguing with me for a solid 10 minutes about how I should have let him help me even though I told him I wanted my own opinion on the car. I ended up going talking to the manager & he was worthless as well saying he wishes we could go back in time so things were different instead of fixing the problem. Would not recommend worst dealership by far!
OK. So, I have an appointment scheduled with our garage for our 2013 3500Ram 6spd diesel yesterday for a lube oil filter. Meanwhile, Monday an engine light comes on. Thinking it might be because we need an oil change. Pick the truck up last night after our garage was closed and the light was still on. Took it for a drive. Pull out from a 45mph to a 55mph zone, I cant find a gear, I lose some power, and it smells like clutch. Talk to our garage today and they say there is a technical bulletin on it. Call Binghamton Dodge because it has less than 20,000 on it and should be covered by our extended service contract. Explain what happened in detail. Was told that they couldnt get it in for a few weeks. I said thats great service. The reply was well, thats what we haveand again was asked if the light was on and if anything had happened. I explained it again and was told if the light isnt flashing, you shouldnt have a problem I said that we are going to The Glen tomorrow and have to pull those hills, if anything happens, are you going to come get us? I was told no, youll call for roadside assistance. Great. Thank you. So, when do you think you could get it in? July 18th I was told. We are travelling at this point. Anywhere else you can recommend? Cortland Chrysler should be able to get you right in. Like, I should have to drive an hour for service. I dont have great faith in dealer service to begin with. This just solidifies it. Its bad enough that we have had the truck for 2years and had multiple recalls and had to have the catalytic converter replaced on a cross country trip. Disappointed all around.
Dont go there, they didnt think twice about lying and trying to cheat my 77 year old double amputee diabetic father out of $4000- they did the classic bait and switch, we agreed for a 2013 town and country for $415 at 75 months even gave them the down payment. They came up with some lie that the bank re-negged 3 days latter but good news we can sell you a 2016 for $450 a month never mentioning increasing it to 84 months . I noticed it just before we signed, - they played good salesman/ bad salesman. After we left and refused, a day latter the general manager called and amazingly the 2013 was available again even cheaper. Especially bad was Mike M the financial guy, total liar, not to mention Felix R who promised us the world after he walked back and forth pretending to plead to the owner/manager to give us a good deal 20 plus times, Total liars and cheats,- we got a 2015 town and country with no problems one try at simmons rockwell - way better service and cheaper
John Manely is a great guy to do business with he does not pressure ya into buying a car. But I kept confusing him on the car and color I wanted i couldnt make up my mind but he was great about it. Thank ya John for selling me that Challenger Daytona we love it. Love the mango tango color. The best part was when my hubby robbed all of the candy out of his jar face was priceless when I handed him back his candy. I would definitely recommend him to other customers.
Nothing but trouble there. Their service department is horrible. I will never do any business there again!! BEWARE!!!! Dont go here.When I went to buy a Jeep there, it was used, and seemed high priced. I took it for a ride and found the new car sheet they put on the window in the glove box. They were charging more for the jeep used then it was brand new!!! Later, after I bought my jeep from another dealership I went there for service. .... a recall. Took 3 weeks to get in. I left it the night before as instructed. Call for it the next day. Hadnt even touched it. I went and got it. Ill take it to REAL dealership now.
I worked with Ken on leasing a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and couldnt be more happier with the service! Ken, and the rest of the team, went above and beyond my expections to find exactly what I was looking for and for the right price! Would recommend them to anyone.
I have driven Jeeps my whole life. Binghamton Jeep is where I bring my Grand Cherokee for everything service related, even oil changes. The staff are incredibly friendly and always supportive. This morning I brought my Jeep in for service; oil change, fuel injector cleaning, and front and rear differential fluid change. When the driver was unable to drop me off at work because he out on another run, John in Service actually drove me to job so I would be on time and contacted me promptly when service was completed. John, Jeff, and the entire staff at Binghamton Jeep exemplify the highest customer service, something anyone would expect from the Jeep brand. They will have a customer in me, for life!
John Manley was my sales agent. I found my car in the lot and thought it was perfect. But it was front wheel drive.My wife cautioned me about the car not being AWD/4WD. I asked John how it handles in the snow and he replied, it does fine. A few weeks past and along came the first snow, maybe one inch. Colesville Rd is difficult to navigate in winter and I was a victim that morning.I went back to the dealership and spoke with John and according to him theres nothing they can do. John suggested get snow tires. I was hoping they would give me a good deal to swap into one of their AWD cars.The snow tires have made a big improvement in traction in snow. I looked at their sister dealership in PA and they had multiple AWD cars I would have purchased if I was told they would bring it to Upper Front St dealership.Looking back I feel John acted in his best interest to make the sale rather than suggest another car. That was all he need do to make me happy. I will buy another Fiat 500L, I love the car and very happy with the snow tires.Next time, I will purchase from someone other than, anyone but, John Manley.
BEWARE: Awful dealership. Service department is a joke, had them run a diagnostic on my engine light ($75) so I can get the problem pin pointed and fixed. They told me that to continue looking itll be 2-3 hours at $100 dollars an hour (their shop rate) to HOPEFULLY pin point it. So basically threw $75 out, to be told what I already knew seeing as you can get an engine light scanned at autozone for FREE. When you get a diagnostic at a dealership they are suppose to pin point the issue. Not hopefully be able to do it. Not to mention I had an airbag recall and they replaced the airbag and the LIGHT is still on and the service advisor never told me about it, until I saw the paperwork myself. Needless to say I will NEVER be back here, Id rather drive an hour to Cortland to have my car done. If it was possible to rate Zero stars I would.Also for the sales department, a friend of mine told me they bought a vehicle there a week ago, and they never inspected it for him before they sold him it (ILLEGAL btw) come to find out the car had a faulty transmission and a malfunctioning headlight.This place is a joke. Save your time & money.
I have been going to Binghamton Chrysler Jeep Dodge now for about 8 years now for service on my Ram 1500, the service dept. has been excellent in all regards for repairs, scheduling and dependability . Just recently I purchased my first vehicle from them (Jeep Willys wheeler).Van Vongkhamchanh was the product specialist who worked with meon buying the Jeep and all I can say is, I was impressed with his vehicle knowledge and excellent customer service . For purchasing a vehicleit was a very satisfying experience.
They worked with us for hours to get what we needed in a price we could afford and delivered our new van that same day even though they were extremely busy. The service department is also very friendly. I bought my new van in April of 2015 and havent had any problems yet.
Wish I could give this place a zero or a negative number. Been to this place multiple times since I live in town. Went to look at wranglers there a year ago and no one helpped me. Im a small female and had my heart dead set on buying a wrangler so they missed out. I ended up going to Owego and bought one there. Second time was for paint. I went to pick it up the man was so rude. My wrangler is a tonka yellow and the paint was orange. I tried to tell him this and he rudely said to me that it was the vin I gave him and it’s going to match. Well it didn’t and when he came to look himself thinking I didn’t know what number I was giving him he quickly change his attitude to just semi rude. He ordered me a new one and didn’t say much to me the whole time after. That was a year ago. Third time I had to get a cylinder head changed and they said it would be a couple days and told me that they do not give loaner cars out. I arranged for rides for a couple days. It is now Friday. The “couple days” and car is still not done and it’s going to be the weekend. I ask again if there are loaner cars and this person said he’s not sure if they have any left. So they do give loaner cars? Either way this is the worst dealership I ever experienced. I’ll drive out of town next time because it’s not even worth my time or money. At least at Royal in Owego there was someone right there to welcome you. Andnthey even let me test ride the wrangler I bought overnight. I guess shame on me for having a little faith in the dealership on upper front st.
BCJD appears to have a great selection of Wranglers, but they may be emotionally attached to them or not interested in selling. Contacted them online for a quote for a new Wrangler, received several form-type emails and responded back, including one that asked if I had all the information I needed. Unfortunately never heard back from them, so moving onto another dealership.
Unfortunately this is the only experience Ive had with this dealer but it will also be the last. Worst dealer experience ever. First they couldnt find my sons truck. Granted it was dropped off by a tow truck at night but I called ahead of time to tell them it was coming. I guess random vehicles are normal. I had to call for an update before they even told me they couldnt find it. Was originally promised a couple dates to be done, then told it was a tow job and there are no scheduled dates/times, its as we can get to them. Well after over two weeks of not getting to them I had it towed to Royal in Owego where they looked at it the first day for an initial diagnostics. I would drive to Owego (45 mins) every time now. Only one star because they wouldnt allow none.
Pertaining to the service dept only... I received a recall for my dodge journey so I called to schedule an appointment to get it taken care of. I was told they didnt have the part, that it was on backorder & they couldnt get it in for over a month.I then called Royal Automotive in Owego who also said they didnt have the part in stock but would order it & call me when its in. Guess what..I received a call 4 days later saying the part was in- the same part Binghamton Chrysler said was on backorder & itd take over a month to get!! Its very obvious Binghamton just didnt want to deal with it, clearly lying about how long it would take to get the part!! Id rather drive farther to Owego to a place that actually has customer service over the local dodge dealer that lies because they dont want to deal with a recall!!
Dont go there. Waste of time and drove twice just so they can bring the price up compared to what was originally quoted. The sales rep kept going back and fourth between me and the manager. Came back with ridiculously high numbers like I am stupid or something. These old school tactics dont work anymore. You cant give customer sky high prices and bring it down if needed. The Internet has changed the world, catch up and stop ripping people off. Worst customer service.
They advertised this (now my gfs) 2007 Suburban 1500 LT on craigslist PA (Scranton) for $17,995. The dealership is located in Binghamton, NY. Upon arrival (Monday April 7, 2014) we were able to test drive the vehicle, and I noted the odometer reading was as advertised 106k and change. After test drive they tried to inform us that they could not sell the vehicle to us at advertised price because that ad was out of their Scranton dealership. WRONG. We said honor the price or bye bye. Suddenly, good news they could honor the price. On Thursday April 10, 2014 (3 DAYS later) we go to take delivery of the vehicle, she signs paperwork, and we leave. She had been sold a $1999 PLUS sales tax 60 mo/100k mile powertrain warranty (worthless if you do your own maintenance...read the fine print) that they were supposedly throwing in and when we arrived home (approximately 150 mile trip one way) we noticed the odometer read 109k+!!!! They had put 3000 miles on this vehicle in 3 days (!!!!!) while we waited to take delivery. BUYER BEWARE.
Terrible customer service.. I was going to purchase a car from them but it took several days to get a call back from the dealer that I talked with. In addition to people not calling you back in general. Within 3 hours of contacting another dealer I have acomaccompli more than a week trying to work with this dealership. I am 100% taking my business elsewhere.
The service department is a complete joke i bought a 2014 ram 2500 with lift kit 70 thousand dollar truck brand new i drove it for a period of a month or so an the truck started making noises from the rear i took it there to be looked at as its under complete warranty so after a week they said it was fixed went to pick it up an not even 2 miles down the road the same problem was there so long story cut short ive had it there 4 times for this problem within the last year an half an they still havent fixed it now the truck completly died no power to anything so its back at the dealership yet again for a dif problem plus the same problem its had sense i bought it i advise anyone that goes there to never buy a vehicle from there unless u want nothing but headaches from the service department

2022-03-31I was looking for something very specific that no one seemed to have after talking to John at Binghamton dodge they had exactly what I wanted in transit already. John honored my affiliates reward and every discount dodge had to offer he also gave me more than I thought I would get for my trade in. I had my own financing when I came in but there financing dept beat my rate from my local bank by a good amount which I was amazed by. Durango arrived in a few weeks no delays and it happened to come on my wedding day. I could not wait any longer and John got my vehicle ready for pick up finalized paper work and showed me all features in less than a hour. Sales manager made sure to come see me shake my hand and make sure I was happy. Best experience I have had buying a car.

2022-03-08Sent an email about a red Ford F-150 at their Vestal location. John Manley texted me ten minutes later and asked If Id mind taking a call. He told me he was on his way to pick it up. I like a man of action. Its only been a month but I love my truck. The service was great. When the manager came out to sell me a warranty I stopped him...said price it with and without and he said will do and turned right around. Never got pushed to buy it. I liked that. I will keep it a mystery whether I did or I didnt. John has also followed up a few times since the purchase. Mostly automated but at least theyre checking. Very good experience.

2022-02-04The staff there are rude, dismissive and do not care about what the customer needs. My Jeep stopped running and my boyfriend brought it to them in attempt to have them take a look. They did not want to take the car or listen to our concerns. They also rip people off when you call in for quotes on parts. To be honest, the staff didn’t sound like they knew a thing about what they were doing. I’d avoid this dealership if possible.

2022-02-15When we purchased the car it was a good experience, not a lot of pressure to buy.But we took it in for a Oil Change, the appointment was for 10:00 am my wife there at 9:50 and never got out of there until 11:30. That is way to long something needs to be done about the scheduling/ staffing in the service department.
