Nice and big BJs marketplace. Security there leaving the store was very nice and said have a nice day . Seemed curteous and polite . I enjoy the Dunkin’ Donuts they have there.
Open early no lines. Fully stocked.
Been shopping with BJS for well over a decade now. Great for diapers and baby materials, while buying in bulk. I enjoy their deli section too. The College Point, Queens location has fresh sushi prepared by chefs on site. Cant beat that. Good deals on milk, cheese, and dairy products. Produce is usually better than average. I have no reason to stop shopping here.
Out of all the locations of BJS I frequent this is my second favorite. They have a nice selection of products that we like but as far as registers, they are lacking on that part. Its nice that they have the 5 or 6 self checkouts, IF all of them are open. As usual on the weekends they really can use more cashiers on deck. The lines usually span to the middle of the store. The other area that could benefit from more staffing is the deli department. At least try and get some more part time help in the later part of the day/night. Its usually quiet in the mornings. The other shocking part, NO boars head!? Why? The Wesley farms brand isnt bad, but the other brand really looks and tastes like imitation roll product. The few crew members that do work there are always friendly and helpful. If these things could be corrected, this would surely be my number one!
They have a lot of products in stock. At the time i want there was a small line they have cashier and automatic cashier,you dont wait long frendly customer service.
Dont buy trampolines from bjs. This spring setting hook they put in the box will explode and sever your hands.
I always liked shopping at the Levittown store. The location is very convenient. The past few times I purchase produce, it was terrible. The salads are always rusty. I bought a bag of onions all were bad. I bought garlic, also bad. Not sure if it’s because they over order. Last week I bought zucchini. I had throw them out. I’m very disappointed. I will longer purchase my vegetables here.
I go here at least once a month to stock up on food. Be prepared to spend lots of money but also have a truck load of food. They have samples on the weekends which is glorious. Lines can get long. Try not to shop on the weekends if possible. Coupons make the prices of the goods really competitive if not better than most other stores. They dont sell gas at this location.
Good BJs. Go there during off hours and avoid the weekends at all costs! Parking lot can be tough, if you value your car and are able to walk, park further back to avoid the oblivious car denters.Watch out for pushy home improvement sales reps from Power Construction and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. They will consult you for 3 hours explaining how their vinyl windows are over priced. They are pushy, and wont stop calling you.... Avoid.
While I prefer the freeport location I was disappointed to see that online items were in stock but upon arrival those items were no where to be found but as Im shopping in the store they are still in stock staff has no idea why this is maybe you should.fix.tjos problem so I dont have to waste time going to another location

False advertising, and then after showing the picture and waiting 10 min for them to double check I was offered 2 dollars off. Here the price is 15 dollars the coupon clearly says minus 27 dollars and making it a grand total of negative 11 dollars and 2 cent.
Horribly unprofessional. No one answers the phone at this location and when they do answer they put you on hold indefinitely.

My cousin who is home from college applied for a part time job here and stated in his resume and interview that he would be going back to school in February. They called telling him he got the job then immediately called back saying they will not be giving him the job because he plans going back to school for the spring semester. Terrible business. 1 Star review, do not shop here they do poor business when it comes to employees/hiring
Terrible customers service. The guy at the entrance is very rude to customers. He should be working in the stock room so he doesn’t have any contact with other humans.
Its less pushy than most BJS though sometimes they dont have as many items as some. The bakery items seem to be less and of poorer quality than other BJs, the clothes are sometimes cheaper than other BJS because they get the overstocks. Most of the workers are pleasant here and you dont feel like your constantly be watched by security like the Valley Stream or Brooklyn BJS.
Oh boy do I have a story to tell you guys about the BJ’s Wholesale club. I am writing this review bc I had just recently applied to a job at bjs. As stated on my application I go to hartwick college and I am further seeking education. As I progress through the system and go through the interview process it was clear and i stated I was going away to college and seeking further education. As I pass the drug test I get a call this afternoon basically saying I had gotten the job and I was told they will send me an email to fill out and then give me a call and they will get me into the system. This email consisted of me accepting the job and basically when I was to come in and start my first day and how much I was getting paid. As I get my last and final call before I am ready to start I tell them for the 3rd time I go away to college I just want to clear that up and make sure you guys are fully aware even though it is on my application and has been mentioned in the interview. I am told hold on a minute I give you a call right back. About five minutes go buy and I am then called and told we were under the impression that you were not going back to college we need someone who is going to be here longer. I then say so I basically don’t have a job. Yes I am sorry is the response. How does a company not follow up on their applications? Also how are you told in the interview I go away to college give me a job and then take it away ! Completely embarrassing and obsurred!
Clean atmosphere and dedicated staffs to help with products and check out was faster.
I am not going to renew my membership because the store don’t follow state law, I saw workers and customers not wearing mask, I see customer wear them going in, but customer take them off while shopping.
Especially this club it’s not very well taking care of. I felt like compare to other clubs, things less short amount of time and sometimes item you buy comes out bad. What do I do when I buy a bag of apple if 3 of them bad, do I return it? no I don’t have time for it. I think the only reason I decided to write this smelly chicken I purchased recently as soon as I open the package my 3 year old was like did some one farted. It’s so embarrassing but I have to take these back. I guess I will be trying Westbury club for a while if that won’t work I have to say goodbye to Bj’s and go to Costco.
I went to return an item I bought at the Levittown BJS at the Garden City Bjs as i was in that area, when i went to return the item i was only given a small amount back as they said they are selling that same item for less at the Garden City BJS. The salesperson told me that this BJS tends to increase their prices on certain items for unknown reasons. Beware of price gouging and increase in prices here, i have seen it firsthand as well here which is a shame since this is such a convenient location.
Too many recalls latley, returning chicken. 1 day in fridge v& package was smelly. & black!!! And east meadow does not!!!!! have fresh sishi. Or anyone to cut it!!

I tried finding out why BJ is not opened early for seniors just like other supermarkets are doing. but I could not get any managers to answer my question. Can someone out there find out this information for me.

Very good store, the staff is friendly, it is very clean and usually well stocked. The produce is often hit or miss though.

Deli department has 2 workers really with 25 customers. Terrible been waiting 30 mins for a pound of cheese. Bj needs more workers in deli .
Love this store only problem is that when you need help the staff kinda just ignores you until you basically beg for help (keeps stocking shelves while your speaking to them)

Its great to buy wholesale, but BJs rarely has the specific variety of certain items that I like.
I walked around the store to see if there was any reason to join BJs and there wasnt any reason to join. I am a member of Costco and they put BJs to shame. Join Costco for a real wharehouse experience.

In all of the BJS, products get taken away and never see them again stores sell the same things it gets boring and the self check out can be awful when somebody has an over loaded cart

2021-10-06Well stocked and super fresh produce. The deli guys are great, esp Carl and Derek. Check out the deals on credit cards with great rates. Liz was especially helpful and knows her stuff! Nour was a big help with an online order as well as Hilonka. Kef was so helpful and gracious enough to help bring my order to my car. Love this store!

Every time I come in here to get cold cuts at the deli, I have to wait and wait and wait because theres only one person working behind the counter and there is about 10 people on line waiting. Farmingdale bjs has at least 4 to 5 people working behind the counter and Im done in minutes.

2022-04-14BJs is back to making unauthorized renewals yet again. MY CALL WAS OVER TWO HOURS ! What is it with this company ? This is so sketchy and Im not even going to get into Comenity Bank, the entire thing is pure nuts. I paid for my membership ( in person ) using my personal debit card only to receive a Easy Renewal letter in the mail that my Master Card ending in ( 4 digits ) will be charged $ 59.74. I DID NOT PAY WITH ANY MC ENDING IN THAT NUMBER ( nor do I have any card ending in that number ). I went into a panic unaware of what was happening and logged into my Credit Karma acct to find out if BJs ( possibly ) opened this MC and there was no listing of any Comenity Bank. This unauthorized renewal practice has happened with two of my friends. Judging by these reviews I can safety assume its an extremely problematic situation that should be delt with at a higher level because this may fall under the guidelines of financial fraud. I never should have been on this call for over two hours not to mention my call to Comenity Bank that had no information on my name, address, telephone number and of course my membership number was not found. The rep at Comenity asked for my social and at that point I had enough and flat out told her this is too sketchy I dont feel comfortable giving it. The only reason I called Comenity was because BJs requested I do so but I got no answers. I DID specify in 2021 with the woman signing me up at BJs customer svc store to please NOT allow my acct to auto renew because I couldnt be sure what my financial situation would be. The very friendly customer svc woman replied no problem as she logged in all my personal information ( including a friend I could add as a household member ). Do yourself a favor if you dont have many opitions regarding wholesale clubs in your area I encourage you to PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP WITH CASH. Im mentally so drained. No legitimate company should take it upon themselves to AUTO RENEW ANYTHING ( unless ) specified by the customer. Let’s get with it BJ’s and REDEEM YOURSELVES !

2022-03-14Appointments means nothing to this people,the milk guy one of the daily delivery guys told me to stay at the door,cause they told him to have me move the truck from the dock,he said to me good luck they are gonna take 4 hours to unload you ill make them my last stop today,smh

2021-11-26Horrible store, you are lucky if you can find things that are under promotion. Customer service is non-existence, mean employees. No gas, no tires but you need to pay full membership price. 9 out of 10 shopping carts are brokenness the way. Just a horrible place to shop. Stopped my membership today, never spend a dime in this chain store in my life

2021-09-22The closest BJs to my house. They have everything in bulk so you can pay less for more. Good for shopping once every 2 - 3 weeks. Their delicatessen is fast, friendly, and high quality. Their bakery is good but it isnt the best. Depending on when you go, you could encounter long lines at the checkout lines. Otherwise, its a pretty good BJs.

2018-09-02They never have the pads I have so I end up having to go to another bjs every time. And while I went to the other bjs, I realized I bought grapes here more expensive than the other one. I took a picture of the grapes in westbury. FYI, the green and the red grapes are the same price.
