BJs Wholesale Club in other cities:
BJs Apple Turnover Rip off: BJs apple turnover from the bakery department do not contain any reasonable amount of apple filling just like Hostess pie or McDonalds apple pie. It appear that BJs Bakery employee use a Chef Paint Brush to brush the Apple Filling Flavor inside each apple turnover. Pick up a BJs box of apple turnover and look inside the apple turnover, the proof are inside each apple turnover.Dissatisfied Customer, FFJR
Its unsecured inside that store. Why? Because there is lot people walk around by the register .who are they ? They are unknown cab drivers And there Brokers. I had little problem today, and I asked for a manager of the store. Some one came to resolve that problem he was a cab broker or cab driver. SO beware of it.
This BJS NEVER HAVE SHOPPING CARTS AVAILABLE, is Ridiculous!! you have to follow people to their cars and wait for them to finish putting their grocery to get a shopping cart, BJS employee do not care for their shopping carts. Their customer services is not great and most them are rude or not happy about their job. Is also a lot fradulent activity in this BJS buyer beware of your stuff it could be stolen. Lines are always long. But they do have a very good inventory I always find everything I need to buy.
The absolute worst location. They never have enough carts, or functional carts at that. So many open lanes with barely any cashiers. the cart i had today due to it being lopsided almost had everything Id picked up on the floor. There are over 300 carts in here broken right now, the chain should be ashamed of themselves.
Very rude supervisor went to let her know there was a rat near the bread her response what can I do all the supervisor are the same carts are broken they treat employees like trash and there. Customers will be canceling my membership and calling department of health the way that Julie chick acted like it ok to have rats there nasty
Dont come here if you need to get in and out. There is wait for the registers, at minimum 30-40 mins. If you need a cart get ready to fight for one. The only positive thing is that it does have every you may need but the lack of common sense service (aka have more than 2 registers open) is was makes me give it a two star review.
Bjs bakery is the place you wanna go to get your cupcakes and cakes. They have a huge bakery! and large selection of sweets filled with Pastries, cakes, cookies, ice cream cakes you name it. Their birthday cakes are amazing, yummy, adorable and affordable 👌you can pick one up or even order for your special day.
Would not recommend shopping here. no shopping carts whatsoever and shopping carts are always noisy and broken. long lines, barely no cashiers and bad customer service. the shopping carts are always in the most random places. you can always find food being open and full of mice bites. today i waited nearly a hour on a line!! ridiculous. the staff at the front are also disrespectful to customers. this place needs to be fixed and renovated asap.
Absolutely horrible. I would give them a 0 if I could. Absolutely no proper customer service, even the supervisor are rude or approach you with an attitude. Always on their phone.... Absolutely a disgrace, and to think they charge you to shop. I live 5 minutes away, I rather drive 35 into New Jersey to shop. I recently became a member to Costco just because of how bad this bjs is.
I have shopped at several BJs, and this is by far the WORST one. The lines are ridiculously long and go slow as molasses. The cashiers are generally rude. It takes a half hour at least to get out of there. The location in Marble Hill 236th Street is much less crowded and better. Go there instead if you can.Update: Well, its 5 years since I wrote the above review and I can tell things have not gotten any better. The checkout lines are ridiculously long - often hours long. The cashiers are inattentive, make lots of mistakes, and go slow as molasses. Today I bought 2 blocks of feta cheese at $11 each and the cashier charged me for three. When I went back to her for a refund she told me she couldnt help me and that I had to wait in yet another very long line at customer service to get a refund. So instead, I went to the back of the store and just got a third block of feta cheese so the bill would be correct. I shop at Costco too and even though there are long lines the checkout process is efficient and fast. Its so much better than BJs in every possible way. I will not be renewing my BJs membership, even though it is within walking distance of my home. Id rather drive to Costco.
Worse shopping experience ever! I have spent 40mn cannot find any empty cart! I came to shop but cannot because I didn’t bring my own cart! And whoever is in charge of unlocking we’re nowhere to be found ! More than 30 locked cart where outside but nobody to unlock. Went inside the store and they claim they are not responsible of that! Like go chase someone to beg for a cart! Are they serious?Worse BJs ! Use to shop at throgsNeck and I can see the difference !
This bj’s is the closest to my home but i only come here as my emergency place. I rather drive further out due to how crowded it gets. As the years gone by it has became worst and the workers don’t seem to care. You can find milk in the detergent section or fruits some where else it shouldn’t be. I know this isn’t the store fault but they should have At least two employees going around checking for items that are out of place. What scares me the most is buying something that needs to be refrigerated and not knowing if it was left out and then put back into the refrigerator or freezer.
Very disgusting customer service. Waited in a line today and cashier had a arguement with the customers waiting behind me to purchase their items. Cashier had to be removed for getting loud and cursing at the customer. Cashier was very rude which started off the altercation with the customer. Manager came alone and told customer she will be removed from the line. Very disgusting and will never return here.
It was overly crowded. I was on line for the cashier 52 minutes despite the fact there were 2 people in front of me. Also, the majority of shopping was incomplete cause they were out of a lot of merchandise. For my momps aunt whos in need of a scooter, they had 6 scooters that were completely discharged and one other scooters battery was almost dying. To avoid it going dead while deep into the store, she decided to leave her shopping for next day at Costco. The location Im referring to is the one on upper Broadway in the bronx and 237th st
Organized, clean, helpful staff, and everything is clearly labeled. Theres been no issues here of any kind. For COVID, theyve gone the extra measure to ensure the store isnt just packed to the brim with people and have done a good job at maintaining order. Carts are difficult to find on occasion but thats not entirely their fault when people keep stealing them.
Sometime during the pandemic, the layout of merch has changed locations. I walked in with a game plan and couldnt find things in there usual place. What did not change was electronics, bakery, produce, beauty, frozen food, and meat. I am mindful to attend when foot traffic is low. I was in line for perhaps 5 to 8 minutes, not too long for 15 items or less at self checkout. Pick-up order line was longer.
The only reason why I gave this location 3 stars is because the lack of shopping carts. The fact that you have to wait or follow another customer to get a cart is ridiculous. If the concern is stolen carts then do like target and put magnetic locks on the wheels. If people park in the street there their problem. Its a hassle to have to deal with this problem every time I come here. And I have drive out my way to further location where they dont have this problem. Its a mess
Well hello everyone its been while since I have written a review.Today, I went to BJs Wholesale Club in the Bronx, driving in and looking for parking wasnt bad, I was able to find parking. However !!!!.. I couldnt find no shopping carts. In order to find a shopping cart I had to wait till someone comes out and load there vehicles, then get a shopping cart. There was NO!!! shopping cart in those assigned shopping carts areas. None!!!Ok I found a shopping cart after waiting like 10 minutes. So!Lets move inside now!!!All the selves looked stocked , floors was clean. The Electronics side. I wanted to purchase a little 21 inch TV that went for 119.00 I believe, so BJS had a little slip to fill out for the little 21 inch TV. So I filled it out and went shopping and grabbed my items and stood on line. The line was long yes, but it went pretty fast .BJs or the Manager had someone handling the line control, directing shoppers to the next available register. So after I finished with checking out at the register. I was directed to the lead cashier that was on the floor and I had hand her the slip that I filled out for the tv.Well she went in her stock room only to come out to say there was no more 21 inch TV in stock.. like really.. I did all that and no tv in stock.BJs lead cashier said you can get your money back but I had to stand online and wait with people who was picking up there online orders ..I mean like come on really ... But I guess over time things will smooth out.Na Im not going to blow my stack. Why 2 stars. The shopping cart experience was the worst. Just to wait when you have other people waiting as well. Thats spells disaster waiting to happen.Much respect to the all the cashiers, standing there and making it work. ( To BJs make sure you put some kinda protective barriers. ).
Oh my goodness. I spent 25 minutes waiting on the customer service line and another 20 minutes checking out. The employees were beyond rude and has a bad vibe that made it feel like they hated your guts. They also kept closing self checkout lines left and right. It seems that staffing is a huge problem here because the employees run around like a marathon. Some of the employee at the desk were super nice however and managed to keep a smile even with long lines.Stay away from this place Friday through Sunday, they literally run out of shopping carts for customers and you have to beg people leaving the store to get their shopping cart. Lol its a joke. Head over to the location on Broadway if you want a better experience. No more words.
I love BJ. They ALWAYS have what Im going for. The prices are reasonable on some items. But you got to remember that youre buying in bulk. The ONLY problem I have is that you cant shop unless you are a member. Some people cant afford to pay for membership. Especially if you dont shop like that all the time. But all in all....Im pleased.
Horrible do not go there. You have to chase down people like you’re stalking them just for a cart to shop with. Their systems are trash and the supervisor should be fired. She does not act like a supervisor she. should be bagging groceries if she can even do that. The place is unorganized. The guy at the door, Daniel P. was the best part of the horrible experience. We will not be going back here. Don’t waste your time.
Customer service is horrible and what the workers are doing is wrong!!!!! They lack honesty a star is not deserved . Today I order a full size mattress at the exterior street location. I received the email to pickup. When I get there, they tell me I need to wait.. so I wait, its understandable because were dealing with COViD-19. 3 hours later the worker goes to the manager and says theres four full mastresses left... She walks up to us with device scanner on hand and said sorry but I looked everywhere... I couldnt find it... My husband was puzzled... We paid ... I dont understand...she said there are four mastresses... And she cant get them because they were on the truck and theres a possibility that it wasnt processing. She gave us a $25 dollar gift card and we didnt get our money back.If we received an email stating that the mastress was paid for and it was ready for pickup, why are the workers telling us something different??
I had a store pick up. I checked in as I got there. This should have been an easy peasy shopping run. But nope, guess again. There was a line at the pick up desk and then I had to describe what my purchase was to the person at the counter despite giving her the order information. Smdh
Shopping carts are hard to come by didnt see one employee from bjs gathering the shopping cart like other bj, you have to look for your own shopping cart you would think it a regular grocery store parking terrible unless you paid $3.00 for 3 hours in garage mall. Store was stocked with items.
I shop at BJs monthly, and I always use the Self-Checkout 15 items or less line. It is usually a breeze to get in and out. My most recent visit I notice that the line was longer, due to people on the line with more than 15 items.I enjoy shopping at this location because it is very close to where I live, but I hope that they rectify this problem.
NEVER go to THIS store the first 2½ weeks of the month. Its extremely crowded and has exceptionally long lines both at its Cashiers and Self-Service. Oftentimes, rhis store doesnt have the item(s) youre looking for with the coupon(s) you have. Very frustrating! The staff is ok, depending on if youre fortunate enough in asking someone who is willing to help you. Its true that there is a tremendous shortage of shopping carts. The neighborhood people steal them. I accidentally left my cane on a rail outside but near the entrance of the store. No one gave it to the security guard so watch your belongings! If you need a taxi there are men who will find one for you but you better have some cash (not coins!) to give them for their service. I cant speak on parking as I use public transporation or taxi. There is a fairly large garage area for you to park. Best to go early in the morning and towards the end of the month. By the way, depending on how often you shop here you will have a good day or two or three. Good luck!
Went there on a Sunday...Had to immediately leave because they ran out of shopping carts, and offered entering patrons to stalk and follow leaving customers to their vehicles and grab their carts. Needless to say it was mayhem, too many customers arriving and not enough customers leaving empty carts. It was a free for all, that cost me 3 dollars in parking.
Is incredibly upsetting that we pay a membership to go fetch shopping carts outside what happened to the employees that get the carts for the paying customers that pays a membership as well? And at the end of the shopping there was 2 lines all the way to the back where the meat section is. This is unacceptable for customers 😒
When I went to this location I had searched the entire parking lot for a shopping cart because no one had taken the time to refill the carts area. A kind employee who had watched me then told me to ask in the back for a cart and that someone would help me. Once in the back I found the manager on duty named Marissa and asked if someone can help me find a shopping cart and that the kind employee from earlier told me there should be extras here. Marissa then processed to bad mouth me in front of everyone in the back saying that I shouldn’t be here asking for a cart. I let her know that the carts pick up areas were all empty, that I had search the whole parking lot for a stray cart, and that I was told by an employee to ask at the back. Marissa did not care and continued to insult me and told me that if I wanted a cart I would have to go outside and find one on the street outside of the bjs area and parking lot. I went back to the front where the kind employee from earlier apologized for the situation and let me know that Marissa treats everyone like that. A manager should not be treating anyone in that manner especially if the issue is caused by lack of maintenance under their watch. As a manager she should have help me as a customer and not have turned me away so rudely. Because of her refusal to assist me I was only able to buy two items because that was all I can carry. I am reporting this so that things like aren’t a issue in the first place
This location is pretty decent as Ive been to most of them for Bronx & Brooklyn. Gotta give it up (madd props) to the cashiers that go body in getting it poppin. The lines can get pretty long depending on what time of day (always Holidays) you go. Member Services make it do what it do too in that I dont care what time of day it is they are always full. Keep up the good work & 5 star ratings for us savvy shoppers Bronx Terminal!:)
Recently Ive noticed that the coupons arent really saving me money!!! I was there last Tuesday and I noticed that three of the items I had coupons for, the prices were increased by the same amount of the coupons!! Ive been a member for a while and I dont appreciate being fooled into thinking that Im saving money, when in fact Im paying the same amount as before. Its not fair to the thousands of people who shop there!! I plan on bringing it to the attention of the Better Business Bureau!! I feel like Ive been had!
This location is an epic fail. First, they charge you parking just to shop on this mall. If they were to give vouchers after a certain amount spent, people would come more often here. Second, this location never has shopping carts for the people shopping there. They neither have them on the different locations on the lot nor inside. To get one, you have to follow customers leaving the store. If you ask or complain to anyone about it, they never know anything and/or send you to speak to a supervisor who can never be reached. If you reach them, they are rude, unprofessional, and pretty much laugh on your face. Third, the lines are huge and disorganized. There is no structure on how to speed up the process. The supervisors instead opening morr registers, you see them just talking to one another and customers have to wait on line for at least 30 minutes if not an hour. If you were to have a BJs where rich or non-minorities reside, Im sure none of these behaviors would happen or be tolerated.
Longer to check out then I do shopping. Great prices. Terrible service. The workers talk inappropriately across the registers. I missed my date to renew bj card by a few days. They would not let me go. They put my stuff back. Instead of calling a supervisor. Mind you I spend over $400 a month. The meat is expensive. Everything thing else is good. I dont mind paying for parking though the mall in 161 street you can get a stamp from the stores to park free. But no bjs there.
I like that this location is so close to me, but it can be a mad house. Ive spent 20 mins shopping, just to wait an additional 20 just for checkout. Its always crowded and some of the shoppers are nasty and rude. Once, a cashier was so distracted, she put my eggs and bread near the bottom of the cart and continues piling items on top of them! My bread never made it, but the eggs were fine (thank God)! Also, forget about shopping at the deli. The line is always long. In general, I enjoy shopping in bulk and saving a few bucks and trips to the supermarket, but Im not sure that the savings are worth my sanity.
The services I received from customer service at BJ’s were above and beyond horrible. I waited online 25 minutes to purchase a pair of headphones. Once paid I went to pickup headphones from cage. Being the only one there I felt I would be in and out. 5 minutes after waiting and no one showed I went politely to the customer services desk in which they called for someone to come over and assist me. 10 minutes go by. No help. I once again asked for assistance and another call was place. 5 minutes later I asked again in which a call was place however; this time an female visibly upset came over and stated, What that ** cant wait. I immediately ask for a refund and her name in which she stated with attitude Deborah #**. I told her I was going to make a complaint on her. The next day when I went to a different BJs I found that my card was suspended.
The place is Crowded, no one on the floor to help u if u need help, theres two long lines that reach for the front of the store to the back of the store then they choose which register for you to go to, they think its faster that way but only just slows the process down, they Africa american employees have nasty attitudes, lack customer services skills and are impatient. Other than that i love shopping there because I have a big family and I get all I need in one spot and all my moneys worth. Who ever invented b.j.s is a master mind....lol....
Ghetto AF. There are never enough shopping carts. You practically have to stalk other customers as soon as they are done loading their groceries...that is if you dont have to fight with other people trying to secure the same cart. The line are ridiculously long and the staff is rude and slow. I waited 45 minutes to purchase 5 items.... NEVER AGAIN. Avoid this location.
I am very upset that in order to get in this store we have to wait on line. Every time I go to this BJ’s, I have to get there very early. If not, the line is wrapped around the corner. To make matters worse, I got her by 7AM (due to COVID- 19) to wait until 9M. I had to PAT $10.00. It’s usually $3.00. One would THINK, with all that’s happening today, they would wave the EXTRA FEE. NOT!!!! VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS 😡 I don’t believe that they charge people extra knowing we HAVE TO STAND ON LINE if you want to be one of the earliest ones in.I say that everyone should write on this post in order for this to change. The parking service should be more considerate!
I love Bjs. However this particular store is an epic fail. First, parking is three dollars. There are never any carts available. You literally have to follow someone to their car to retrieve a cart. They normally have the items Im shopping for, which is a plus. I usually spend about $300- $500 when I visit. Now we enter the long lines that extend to the aisles. You can spend at least 25 minutes on a line. I pay with checks and I always have to wait for a supervisors approval which adds another 10 minutes to my visit. I have visited 3 other Bjs: Pelham, BX, and NJ. They all fair much better than this location without a parking fee to add. Oh yeah I forgot to mention there are never any coupon books available. Its sad because this location is closer to my home but I rather travel to the other locations. When Im desperate I come to this location.
This bjs doesnt have its own easily accessible parking lot (which is customary). The staff unfortunately are not friendly and the night manager (10/11/2019 @9:30pm) is extremely nasty. Here the customer is not cared for and can expect long wait times as majority of the isles are closed, including the self check-outs.
I had a great experience on 11/04/19I went 2 this bjs because my grandson is in college & asked if i could pickup some snacks 4 him. After doing this i decided 2 get some bagels. Im in the motorized cart so had 2 wait until the rush 4 the bagels subsided . when i looked the only bagels left were cin/rai. I must have had a sad look on my face. Young lady ask whats the matter & could she help. I stated i will return the beginning of the month 4 the bagels. She said no you wont u wait right here i want 2 check something. She came back and stated there is some but they have 2 bake. Upon my return she had them in a bag waiting 4 me. I was shocked because u dont get this kind of service anymore. Wow! Havent had service like this since i had my uniform on. It felt pretty good 👍 Thanks BJsAnd she was tall & pretty to( lol )
Julie, a supervisor, is by far one of the nastiest employees at the store. Shes consistently rude to customers and even her coworkers are fed up with her attitude. In general, the customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. BJs needs to do better. Ill take my money elsewhere.
Better to stay away from this place. I had a problem with one of the unfriendly employee you threw 2 of my spinach and supergreen containers on the ground just because i place them in the wrong spot. Besides long lines and hot weather makes this place more like hell. supervisors and employees are unprofessionals and very unfriendly. Imagen you paying a 100 dollar membership to be treated like an animal when you are spending your hard work money in this place and the supervisors dont do anything to help you when an employee do some stupid to a customer afer waiting in line more than 20 mins, really suck. just save your money and go somewhere else/
This location is by far the worst I have been to; I only come if I need to pick up a few things on my lunch break. Other than that, I go to the Pelham Manor location. The lines are absolutely, ridiculously long; customer service is non existent and the cashiers need etiquette classes. I also find that healthy products are more expensive at this location in comparison to the Pelham Manor location. I avoid this location like the plague!!
I love BJs prices but if your not careful you can get carried away. And it adds up hi quickly. My problem is either the scooters arent available due to use or they arent charged a lot of the time Im unable to get a scooter which is a big problem for me I have a knee brace and cane by the time Im finished walking around shopping in in great pain and aggravated because the lines are to long . If it wasnt for that I would of given 5 a star review. But even with all that I still feel its worth it
I was here at this “BJs” on Sunday 12/22/2019 in the Bronx on 153rd Street. Checked out my items on a self service register, requested cash back. Requested assistance from the rude service member. She had a very bad attitude. I spoke with the supervisor and she told the rude rep name is Kimberly. I believe the supervisor was lying as well. I called corporate and they were not helpful. This would of never Hapen at COSTCo’s........Never! This BJ’s location is a Horrible place to shop.
Management is horrible! I had my membership for years. A manager named Deborah canceled my paid membership after I left the store. She was aurguing with a customer louldy about self check out. My niece and I was talking among ourselves that she was rude. Shd then turned around and started aurguing with us. Then she Threaten to have our bjs cards canceled. Since when do manager behave like that? I only found out my card wasn’t no longer active when my mother went to use her authorized card.
I ordered presser cook, they sent me confirmation email for pickup. After that they sent voice message” they didn’t have that item”. They told me to call than. I called them right away and associate told me the item I ordered is ready to pickup. Today I came to pickup. Now they says they don’t have it. Totally disappointed.
Pros - I really appreciate the coupon booklet that is sent to my home...Cons Lines are entirely to long....the 15 items or less line is not advertised enough!! Deli way to slow...of course theres a line however the employees are laughing, talking and stopping to have conversation with each other. Wow. ..it was only two people, me and another person but do to there constant chatter the line grew and grew..from 2 to close to 15 people at 10am!!! Wow
DID NOT EVEN GO IN AND THEY ALREADY HAD AN ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMERS. How do I make a line and wait to go in, yet the guy at the door is allowing others that are NOT in the line go in? Please, make it make sense! If you have a policy make sure it’s being followed and applied to ALL CUSTOMERS.
Just amazing I guess I have gotten use to the corner Bodagas and small grocery stores. I walked into BJs and I could hear Angels singing..they have any and everything you could possibly imagine in the place. Lines are long but move quick. Oh remember to bring your own bags they dont supply them.
I dont see why people complain about the parking. We gotta pay parking almost everywhere else. People save far more money by buying in bulk than the $3. The same people will come back to this BJs and complain some more. The parking was not made for it to be free in the first place. Its a lot of good revenue for the mall. Try to focus on the money being saved rather than money you have to spend to get it. It is an investment and you are an investor. BJs doesnt get a cut out of it. If you want free parking go try the Yankees stadium or the neighborhood streets. The registers in every big store are always half occupied. There is no need for another employee to be hired. Home Depot got 3-4 for the whole store.Customers are probably far worse at treating associates than the other way around. I am not an employee nor do I support or endorse BJs and their affiliates. Rofl.
The worst customer service..... The retail team member name is Jennifer , I will say the same thing about the supervisor Marital. I saw the promotion in Facebook about the membership that is $25 and I show them that I needed the membership .. she was asking for a coupon which I had in my head I was showing it to her Went to BJ’s to buy a ring for the reason that the website was not giving me the choice to pick the ring size and I show it to the supervisor and she gave my husband a number to call which was a wrong number I do not understand why they are working in BJ’s if they are not going to give the service To the customer
Im mean.. Its BJs.. Went on a late Tuesday evening, luckily it wasnt packed (makes me wonder if all late nights are like that). They have self checkout lines something that I dont believe the other place just over the water has, correct me if Im wrong. Typical BJs layout. Frozen stuff to the back and the left side when you enter. Snacks and goodies galore. Nothing more to say here.
For truck drivers. I miss silvester and the lady that was there now this place is a swamp. Why bother getting an appointment for? everytime I get there is the same old story we gotta clean up they know we coming this place should stay clean. This is by far one of the worse BJs receiving. Management you slacking get on top of it. Ps: if you have another pic up to do dont bother going there.
Location lack customer service. Witnesses a client getting harassed by an associate Tiana M. Since when Bjs have associates at the door wrest clients. A assistant Mgr Martha Reyes no help. I usually get my morning coffee there, NO MORE after that scene. What’s worse the place was empty. No good customer service, Customer get harassed by associates and a management lacking good business judgment. This is how BJ’s treats their repeated clients. Their retention of clients would rapidly deplete !!!
Customer service seem to have no interest in helping !!! And what is more upsetting is that when i called it took soooooooo long before they answered the phoneAnd when they finally did and i asked for an item i rudely got put on hold by a female employee and waited a whole hr and so for them to give me a simple 2 second answer!!They all need to be trained over! And learn to have excellent customer service or just get ppl that actually want to work
Not the Expected Experience.........so I am a or was a frequent flyer of the Rutherford location and the difference is extremely noticeable. The shelves are barely filled, the pricing is equally noticeably different ie High. Additionally, the staff as well as the clientele are much to be desired. But in a clutch you can mostly get what you need food and supply wise.
The customer service aka I will answer when Im done with my lunch and then transfer to someone else because Im too lazy to answer is completely terrible in answering their phone calls. It ended up resulting in me and my boyfriend calling multiple times to have either no answer or to get transferred to multiple people when we had just one simple question. I ended up calling the bakery department to ask for help and to hear a human voice and they were the only people who answered. The bakery department, not the customer service. AND we finally got an answer from some lady and she said and I quote let me check if we have that in stock I will look on the computer and then transferred us to some other lady. Checking the computer is not transferring to somebody else. Checking the computer is checking the computer thats probably right in front of you and just telling me yes we do or no we dont. This is by far the worst customer service, worst bjs I have ever been in contact with. I would literally recommend you go to a different bjs somewhere else cause they are more likely to be helpful then this location. Terrible terrible service.
BJs provides great opportunities to make big box store purchases at affordable prices. Parking is available on multiple levels with easy access to stores.I frequently shop at this mini mall and have never experienced unpleasant odors in the parking areas.A great place to shop! Thanks BJs.
It says on your page people spend about 20 minutes here???? i spend more time waiting to check out then to shop. That said the store is great the meats ar fresh the prices are great the store is clean and its always crowded SO HIGHER SOME CHECK OUT PEOPLE or get some self check out lanes.
Generally Bj should be avoided but really they take excessively long to check you out. I mean they literally are chatting ,laughing , having a good time while taking little interest with the task at hand. Checking out customers seems to be be of the least interest to them.
Lines.for the register are long but fast and some.times to get into the store you have to make .line those are longer and slow, they been moving thw products from.one side to another lately confusing if you look to buy and go fast make you waste time and more waiting time on line
So close to me, and yet I have to go to the one in Pelham Manors (or any further away one) due to the fact that they have over a dozen damaged Electric Shopping Scooters. Even when they werent damage they were always uncharged or used by teen age/healthy people. Not fair. I dont think Im renovaiting my Membership. So sad.
Its a BJs... but if you are used to shopping at the BJs in College Point (Queens), Westbury (Long Island), or Edison (New Jersey) you will notice a different shopping atmosphere. The first noticeable difference is the place always seems packed, there Is no self checkout line, and you have to pay for parking. Other than that its a BJs and I can get the items I like to buy.
The employees are okay but the customers are disgusting and leave products thrown around. Real sad seeing all these food just throw around. Otherwise the location is maintained well considering the sheer traffic of clients that storm that location on weekends and holidays.
Get ready for Long lines, but long, 45 mins waiting line to pay, lazy employees, rude manager, Officer boring, 45 mins to get out, because they will check you cart at the exit in order to make sure you pay, would not recommend anyone to shop here, the products or price is not the problem, is the staffs, they have been trained in the garage of a Zoo, trained to work with animals not humans.
I’ve been a member for awhile now, I think that as a member of a shopping club and I pay my yearly membership fees .I shouldn’t have to still cut their coupons or do home work online to pick out the coupon they have . The other whole food warehouses don’t have this if it’s a special it’s a special no clipping coupons
Honestly sometimes this place can be cool theres lots of variety and decent prices but if you have anxiety this is not the place for you its (dependent on when you go ) packed most day the lines are long and the people are rude the cashiers obviously hate working there also one of the things i hate the most about this place is that alot of time if someone decides they dont want something regardless of what it is they will toss is on the register im assuming till the end of the day when its time to clean up this means meat and veggies and dairy get tossed on the floor collecting dust kicked up by customers not only that but then all these items that get left out to get warm and gross end up getting put back onto the shelf its really gross and could really make people get sick they need to keep track of putting things away i know it gets busy and that might be hard to do but they should hire more people if that is the case for the safety of their customers

2022-03-13The BJ’s stores are tend to be not that good (that’s based on my experience, of course), but this one is a disaster. Nothing works here; the carts are mostly broken (if you can find one though), the lines are long and move super slowly, and the worst is that the store is dirty. The attached photo is just an example, you can find a bunch of this things all over the store and takes to be cleaned.

2022-06-13How the heck can we shop without shopping carts???? As a customer i feel offended that i have to follow other customers around the parking lot just to get a cart. I understand that it may not be the store fault, but still they need to fix this issue. We deserve better!! We pay memberships just like the other customers around the country!!

2022-04-15I appreciate that there is a bulk store like this close to me. Now I see reviews about appearance and condition/availability of carts. Im sorry but I blame customers and not BJs. If maybe people wouldnt steal them or abuse the carts, they just might be readily available to us. The same that goes with the cleanliness. You have to blame fellow shoppers. Look at the neighborhood this mall is in...... At least appreciate that this BJs has lasted here this long.

2022-03-31Over this last winter they threatened and treated me very unfair and unjust. Everyone from all positions and levels in that store knows me for over a decade; including management and security. I have seen the store change from different manager hands over time. They know I dont steal and I go to buy only BJS water. I know other water vendors go in the store to do no good things, but like I always say: I am one of them¡ But am not like them With that said please treat me with the dignity and respect that I deserve. I would wear a shirt but I wont wear a mask. BTW you already know I go multiple times a day buying at least $80 - $100 at a time; please keep enough ice bags for me and stop messing and making my life and day so impossible me. On3 LOVE. 😘💕😂🤣😳😲

2022-04-07Went here to run an errand and a favor on a Wednesday afternoon. Granted there was one employee that answered our question as to where the soaps were located but this place is a hot mess. It probably doesn’t help that a lot of the customers don’t get in the correct self-checkout lines and some who have more than 15 items get in the wrong lines. And then others take forever to scan their merchandise. It would probably help if there were some sort of line dividers and someone directing the lines in the front instead at the end. I’m understanding of employee shortage but maybe switch one or more of them to a cashier for peak hours. I desperately had to use the bathroom and unfortunately the conditions were deplorable. One stall with no toilet paper, other with rolls thrown on top of bar instead of the dispenser. I’m not sure the last time they did a check but it looked days. There was a chunk of hair on the ground and feces allover another toilet.

2022-02-08The service is horrendous. The cashiers are non existent as well as the shopping carts. The renegade cab drivers are horrible. There is going to be very serious confrontations between shoppers and these cab drivers. The shopping lines are are from the front of store back to the meats. This is only done to the black and brown neighborhoods. You would never give this kind of service to people in an white upscale neighborhood and you know this.

2021-09-18I am currently in a wheelchair due to an accident and they don’t allow the handicap motorized carts out to the parking lot to the handicap parking spots which is very close to the entrance so this BJ’s isn’t very handicap friendly. I therefore was unable to go in and shop and had to stay in the car even though I called in advance to ensure I could use the motorized car. Very disappointing experience.

2022-03-28The worst BJ’s wholesale store location! Very congested and most items aren’t available. Club store need to improve lot of issues and show take it very seriously with people negative complaints on here which I do agree with many negatives reviews are accurate! Hope BJ’s make a big better improvement to this location.

2022-03-22This location is the worst in the Bronx. Absolutely terrible the products are always being moved around you never know if it’s in stock or not it’s constantly messy and unorganized and you see a bunch of staff walking around doing nothing much while there are long lines and only about 2 or 3 registers open. It’s like they do whatever they want to. They’ll shut down the self serve registers so costumers with only 5 or 6 items are standing on long lines behind people with full or multiple carts. I would rather the Riverdale or Eastchester locations any day any time.
