BJs Wholesale Club in other cities:
On October 7th, I received a call from Jerri at the Customer Service Desk. They had found a small bag of medicine which I had just picked up from CVS. I had been looking all over for these meds and could not figure out how I could have misplaced them. You cant imagine the joy I felt when I received the call. I thanked her profusely.
Great quality merchandise. I shop here regularly. The food items are great. I love that I can shop here in bulk. The seasonal non food items are great quality as well. I have bought beach stuff, pool item, lawn merch.. The stationary is a little pricey with Staples next door. We love it and shop here regularly. The gas is also always a great price.
Love me some BJ’s! So many great products at bulk warehouse prices. Membership is totally worth it, easily pays for itself in the deals, discounts, and coupons they send you every month. They also sell gas at super competitive prices and it’s 10 cents cheaper if you’re a member. Another membership perk.
Not sure why there are Senior hours every day M-F, maybe weekends also not sure. Hard to find items are gone by 900. How about not buying 10 containers of antibacterial wipes per week? This is not fair to do every day. Twice per week I can understand, but everyday? There are other shoppers besides seniors who are buying for their whole family and friends.
Normally I have very good things to say about Bjs the staff is always attentive and friendly and courteous however, this visit Was not the case. I understand with what’s going there are doing our best to keep To keep the shelves stocked. The main point of my trip was to get garlic didn’t think they’d be sold out of that but I was wrong ok not a Proceeded to get a few other things. Now here is the hissue that I have all of a sudden there’s a line of about 25 people from the front to the back of the store waiting to pay again understandable given the circumstances but was uncircumcised which was unacceptable was the fact that they only had two registers open with self check out I just don’t understand how they could not have cashiers working at a time like this when they know the stores are busy
Great store, lots of products. Great customer service department that is willing to help you with all your needs. Super friendly staff throughout the store, especially in the following departments....produce, meat, deli & dairy. Store can get a little crowded at the checkout lines. Best time to go shopping is Monday thru Friday around 1 pm to 2 pm.
Been going every other weekend since the Covid-19 crisis and they have been handling it really well. If they dont have what I need one trip they usually have it the following trip. The gentleman working the door in the morning named Walt is always friendly and helpful. From what I see management and associates are doing a great job.
Seems like your typical bjs. I do shop either when it first opens or like an hr before it closes to avoid the crazies. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Usually the store is kept clean and organized. Their is a dunking donuts inside and a small Verizon store/booth. Has a tire center on the side of the building(never used it before). Also has the bjs gas station in the parking lot. Overall pretty good store that I will continue to use on the daily
The line did not move because the customer at the front of the line had a price question and instead of having a manager help them so that the rest of us could proceed we stood there in line for over 17 minutes and there were only two of us on the line . When the customers and I asked the cashier what was happening she was rude and snippy. If I were you I would join Costco. Much better price is much nicer staff
Third time in a row.. stopped for BJs brand wessleey farm bread. Not available. When asked the bakery if they have more, the staffs were rude. Same applies to butter too. Their own brand is always out of shelf. And to get a deal you very to surf a 50 page coupon book like its 1980. Unlike Costco where all coupons are automatically applied at register if there is any. Crowded. Member service desk line is up to the entrance.
Customer service personnel is always friendly and helpful. Managers willingly offer rainchecks when certain sale items are out of stock. The store is usually clean and organized, but they do run out of items quite often. Im not sure if its due to the smaller than usual BJs or because this is the closest store servicing lots of nearby towns, which means inventory goes fast. The only negative thing I have encountered at this place is that some of the vendors, who offer small food bites at table stations throughout the store, can be rude and mean. Im not sure of their connection to the store, as they might work for the companies trying to push their products, but they can definitely exert a bit of friendliness and professionalism; especially if they are working on selling a specific product. During my last visit I encountered a young man who was cutting strawberry shortcake bites. When I approached the table to enquire about the product he was advertising, he just simply pointed towards the bakery s refrigerator where the cake was. I attempted to ask him questions about the cake, but he made a face as if he was annoyed and once again just pointed to the refrigerator and this time told me to go read the label on it 😲. Im not sure if its my bad luck, but this was not the only time I encountered rude behavior from these people. During a previous visit, I had a similar experience with a lady offering an item from the frozen department. She was upset because I asked if the item had pork in it, as I dont eat it. She responded with an attitude that yes the item contained pork..... Nevertheless, my overall experience in this store is usually a satisfying one due to the friendly customer service. Usually fast checkout times, and courteous managers. On a different note, pretty soon, this BJs will also sell fuel, as a section of the parking lot is cutrently under construction for a brand new gas station!
If I could provide zero I will do it for sure!!. This store has the worst customer service and most of the employees dont care about their customer. Just asked to a cashier today to charge my debit card for a specific amount because I was helping my dad with his shopping today, guess what? Cashier was new which is ok but the lady who come to assist her didnt do her job because she was very busy talking with her co-worker and my account was charge for the total amount. When I asked for help, not body do the minimum effort to resolve the problem!!!. So, I finished returning all the merchandise because one of the store super star employee started yelling on me!!! ... It was a nightmare!!!.
I pay over a 100 dollars a year to shop there. Its supposed to have everything, they have no pharmacy, no photo center, no food court,. And no Jewlery section. They are definitely understaffed. They do have an optical department, they did fix my glasses for free. They do have a tire center prices are good on that except you have to by them online then wait like a month to have them installed. Dont understand the 100 bucks a year to shop there. its sounds like a scam if u ask me
Price discrepancies are unfair! It is a shame that a bag of Fresh Step kitty litter costs $2.50 more than at other BJs locations (as well as at the Sams Club and Costco in Westchester). This club store is 3 miles from our location, yet we travel 20+ miles to the Pelham, Wappingers Falls, or Connecticut stores. As an animal rescue organization, every penny counts and as a result we cannot afford to purchase basic products at our local store. We do not hesitate to share this information with other organizations and adopters as this inflated price is not fair or warranted.
I am getting very discharged with this BJ’S,They being selling a product, than as soon as you start buying it they stop selling it. When you find a replacement they change the area they had it. They were a good place. I’m going to have to find another BJ’s to shop at they are not worth going to, maybe Cisco’s.STOP GOING HERE YOU ARE BEING LIED TOO!!!!!!
Around 12:15pm on Sunday, October 29, 2017, my pregnant fiancé and I had our worst, to date Dunkin Donuts experience inside your store. Nine months pregnant with our two year old daughter in the shopping cart, my fiancé ordered for herself and our daughter two egg and cheese croissant sandwiches hold the bacon. Because my fiancé didn’t tell the cashier, a young Hispanic-looking man, that she wanted the sandwiches cooked, they weren’t toasted. When asked to have them toasted, the servicer, a young-looking female with curly hair, refused. When I complained to the cashier, that’s when I was given that stupid line about not asking for them to be cooked at the beginning of the order. I pointed to the pictured ad that showed the cheese therein melted, stating that thats how the sandwiches are clearly made. I also remarked how the sandwiches had egg in them. My fiancé also remarked how she’s never had to ask for them to be cooked to have them cooked. The look we got from the cashier was infuriating to say the least. Because my two year old was hungry and now throwing a fit because she couldn’t eat her sandwich as expected, I ran to the Dunkin Donuts outside of the store at the far end of the parking lot, opposite BJ’s, and ordered the same two sandwiches without a hitch. I didn’t even have to request the food be cooked this time for them to do it. It was understood. Unfortunately, this was my first time in your store. I complained about this directly via your website to no avail.
Weve been shopping in Bj’s Yorktown for nearly three years since we moved to Putnam. It’s a good place with plenty of varieties of merchandise and good service. It has lots Of organic foods and wild caught fish. Bj’s has almost everything we need and the prices are good. We like Bj’s and purchase groceries from Bj’s twice a month. Highly recommend it!
My BJs membership is probably a decade long. I like this store, its clean and sales associates are very nice. The customer service is great, never had a problem there with some returns and few other requests. BJs issues every month booklet with their own coupons, besides that they have sheets of their other coupons on racks in the store and on top of all they accept manufacturers coupons too. They are offering variety of products covering household and small business. I found the selection pretty much to my satisfaction. They started offering more and more of organic products, mostly covered by their own private brand. On another hand, other products are disappearing from shelves, like a King Arthur organic flour, organic kefir, organic half and half and some others. We are lucky with opened Deli in the store, where prices for cold cuts are incredibly affordable. Although I am trying to stay away from processed meats sometimes I sin and buy. To me Wesley farm brand smoked turkey is a winner. I love their Harwestland rotisserie chicken. I was pleasantly surprised today, when I found on the shelf still warm store baked ciabatta rolls labeled Natural and GMO free. Its the way to go BJs!
I only wish I could give negative stars as my review. The customer service at this location is horrendous!!! No one there cares at all!! Their online order and pickup service needs to be discontinued because they just cant get it right. The phones need to be disconnected as well because you can never get through and by chance if someone does answer youd wish they hadnt.
Really bad. I did online order for bed foundation to pick up in the store. They cancelled it without reason. They didnt let me know. When I would to buy it again in the store, nobody can help me. Im pregnant. Then I stop in next door ( mattress firm), they help me without any problem. Thank you BJs for your help.
Horrible cashier service. As usual it is late afternoon and I have to wait on a long line with three items because the express lanes are out of order. If you go on the regular lines things just stop while supervisor just shouts on radio. No back up from customer service . Blank stares. No team work to serve lines of paying members wasting there time here
About 15-20 minutes after I dropped off my Jeep for 4 new tires to be installed I get a panicked call from the tire center telling me I have to return immediately. Once I got back to the tire center I was told that the lug nuts on my Jeep are too tight and they do not know how to remove them, and that they cannot do the job. I have never heard of a tire center that does not know how to remove lug nuts. I was told that I have to “go to a real garage to get it done” and that I should try to get a refund.Upon my initial arrival, two of the employees were talking about a blown out tire they had in the showroom that was returned and one of them said I KNEW HER ALIGNMENT WAS OFF indicating that they installed the tires on a vehicle they knew was unsafe and let it leave the tire center, causing some poor woman to have her tire blow out on her. Hopefully no one was injured as a result of this incompetence. The fact that they are performing unsafe work, and are obviously not very knowledgeable as they dont know how to remove lug nuts to remove a wheel, has me realizing that trying to purchase this service from BJs was a mistake.I went to Mavis not far away and got it done by professionals at around the same price and they performed an alignment and checked the brakes and shocks, etc. For safetys sake, get your tires installed elsewhere by professionals.
Purchase a product and I was overcharged, it result that product was mislabeled. I ask Patty to honor price and instead of helping me she was very rude and annoyed by it. I ask to speak to supervisor Ryan I waited for over 20 minutes and never show up. I end up just returning item. Will not shop there again.
Had a bad experience there. Male Employee delegating the line made a sarcastic comment questioning my one item I had in my hands..Prior to I had reenterd the line since I forgot one item and as I walked over to my cashier and asked to why i was purchasing one item since BJs a large store. I proceeded to ignore the rude comment and write my review.
Thanks to Shannon Beneway, HR manager at this store, my parents and I had a horrible experience last night. After a long drive, we got to BJ’s (at around 9:20pm) to get gas but the gas station was already closed. We approached some employees at the door of the store to ask why since the hours on its Google page said it closed at 10pm. One of the employees said the hours had not been fixed due to Covid but that we could go in to talk to a manager. When we went inside, we tried to speak with Shannon about it but she treated us in a very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner. She didn’t let us talk and kept raising her voice, saying that the store was closed and that we couldn’t be there. She got really close to our faces and basically pushed us out the door!! She was intimidating and made us feel very uncomfortable...like we were criminals or something!! So confrontational!! (Did we forget about Covids 6-feet rule all of a sudden?!! What about respect for others?!!)Shannon, a simple, please come back tomorrow and we will address your concerns would have been enough.BJs, these are specially sensitive times and this kind of treatment to your members should not be tolerated. This experience gave the store a really bad image and it doesnt make us want to go back. I dont think a person like Shannon should be managing/representing your HR department. Please do something about it. #WhenYouWishYouWouldHaveRecordedIt #BJsShouldHaveTheRecordingThough 🤔 #PoorCustomerService
I love this place. Its awesome. I live near the Pelham store and will never again go to that hell hole of a place. The customers are alway friendly and the staff is helpful. Ive been to this location many times on the weekends and have not been on long lines. I drive an hour to get to this store and havent regretted it once.
If B.Js has a question about who are considered First Responders they need to find out !!!! Police, Fire, Corrections, Medics ARE FIRST RESPONDERS. If First Responders are allowed in on certain days and hours why does there seem to be a problem when we come to the Yorktown location ???? There have been numerous complaints about the First Responders getting there and being told WHO THEY ARE NOT !!!! This is a courtesy B.Js set up. If this is what it is then follow it. If not dont say this is what you are allowing. Its a waste of time and uts disrespectful !!!!!
No one around to help you, nor the few that i saw would ask you if you need help. I was looking at lorex camera systems and empty boxes displayed on shelf but they dont have the camera system. then why are they displayed on the shelf. Store not like it used to be in yorktown in the past.
Helpful ,friendly people..They are building a BJ gas station at this location ...hopefully they remedy the entrance & exits from the lot...missing a bathroom and the only remedy is being knocked out by their opening a Dunkin donuts stand inside the store when there is a dunkin donut in the same shopping center

2021-11-22There are selling frozen poinsettias outside. Take one home and everything falls off when you unwrap.Thats not the problem, because stuff like that happens. Someone made a mistake and did not bring them in over night? Or on a cold day? Again, not why I am posting here.I call and asked for the $15 to be credited back. They say I need to come in with the receipt, dont even need to bring the plant. I explain that will be a 40 minute round trip for me, and my time is worth more than $15. Sorry, cant do it on the phone, I dont have your info. I say I can give it to you, and the reply is I need to come in. TRANSLATION: Its easier for BJs if I come in.They talk about perks of membership, and when you are on hold, the recordings keep telling me how important I am to them. Clearly their time is more important than mine.

2017-10-16They have remodeled their fresh produce and meat counters. It all looks cleaner and more inviting. Produce looks fresher. The entire store looks much much better. I had not been to BJs in a few years. Now they even offer gasoline.

2022-06-09We love BJs but this location was very dirty and in complete disarray. Even the courtesy mobility carts were found abandoned in isles not even charging and dead.

2022-03-16Absolute worst deli dept! Two people working and on online orders only. I stood in line for 15min only to find out they aren’t helping any of their customers in front of them because online orders are and I quote “more important”. Don’t bother waiting at the deli counter. Waste of time.

2017-03-06Big BJ but not one of the super big one. Has most stuff and also Tire Center that will mount and balance your new tires. Many times busy and long wait to checkout and pay.

2017-01-16Prices are good but not great. The location is very convenient, its right off the highway (Taconic Pkwy). The lines are not to bad off hrs but can get a little lengthy at times. Theres a Dunkin Donuts inside and theres usually good customer service (employees) near the CASH REGISTERS to help out with issues but almost impossible to find help throughout the store. The employees have always been helpful and very nice. There is also a Tire Service garage here but Ive never used it. Ive been going to this store location for 5 yrs now and would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

2022-04-02I get no cell phone reception in the entire store. It makes using the app and downloading coupons very difficult. Invest in wifi

2021-08-02Disabled & need a motorized cart?Do not come here. Go to Sam’s Club, target, Stop & Shop, anywhere else. Their carts are broken and they keep putting them out and really don’t care if you tell them what bad shape they’re in. They spin out every couple feet and you actually have to use your foot to get them going again. Completely unsatisfactory for people with disabilities.
