Amazing experience. Our instructor Francis was attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I like that whether youre an experienced swimmer or a newbie he treats everyone the same. No one is left behind. At first I didnt believe I could become a swimmer in just 8 weeks, but I learned alot in less than 8 weeks, especiallylearningto trust the water and yourself. The school is the real deal, you wont regret it. They also took great safety precautions when it comes to Covid-19, which is a relief. Im definitely coming back for another session.
My 7 year old loves going to his swim class every week. He has gained confidence in the pool and the instructors are great.
Instructors are great! I took the private lessons and it was A+. Whether youre just starting or looking to get better...

2022-02-28So happy that I found this swim Academy for me and my sons to take private lessons. Im an adult beginner who didnt even know how to breathe right underwater. My sons never learn to swim as kids but we all decided as a family to learn how to swim. Francis and his staff are very friendly, organized, and patient. In addition to loving the class, the director Francis been very patient in working around my youngest son work schedule. Because of that each time I have spoken to someone they have always been courteous and helpful. Shawn our instructor is very knowledgeable about teaching the fundamentals. He has been very patient and motivating in helping us reach each level of our abilities. I would Highly recommend the Swim Academy.

2022-05-05My 6yr old daughter started swim lessons here for the Spring session as a beginner. She loves her instructor (Ms. Jess) and enjoys learning to swim here. The facility is clean and seems well managed and the water is a comfortable temperature for my daughter. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming here especially David who is very often at the front to greet us as we enter or picks up the phone to answer any of my questions. I would definitely recommend BKLA swim Academy if you’re interested in swim lessons for your little one.

2022-03-30The BEST swim instructor thats firm with the kids is Francis. I recommend him to all of my friends this is my 3rd semester using him as the instructor. Hes the BEST hands down! My daughter is a stubborn 7 year old and he gets the job done.

2022-03-12Awesome place to learn to swim. The ambiance is very nice with refreshments. The staff are pleasant and go above and beyond to assist. Good vibes and lots of learning. My son attends on the weekends and enjoys his swim class as well. Can’t wait to start my Spring session.

2022-03-06One of the best swimming classes in Brooklyn ! After joining the adult fall swimming class, I felt comfortable swimming in the pool . Desirae , Shawn and Francis are the best swimming instructor and if it wasnt for them I wouldnt feel so confident in the water . Lifeguards and entrance staff are friendly as well ! Big shoutout to David and Alex for always making BKLA feel like home for us . Love this place and you should take swimming classes here .

2021-07-07Swimming at BKLA helped my child through her anxiety during Covid. It was a great coping mechanism for her and I saw the changes in her mood immediately.. The swim instructors Faith and Francis were very kind and patient. They worked very well with all of the students and gave each one individual attention when needed. My daughter was very nervous when she began but by the end of her session she couldnt wait to get into the water again. She had a great experience and I would recommend BKLA Swim Academy to others.The staff was always polite and helpful and the facility was also clean.

2021-05-07My daughter has been with the swim academy during the pandemic, the facility provided a safe environment. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Her swim instructor Francis is the best, very patient and brings out the best in each student.

2021-05-14My 9 year old son has been attending private swimming lessons for the past few months. He loves his instructor and is always so excited to get into the pool. I would definitely recommend their swim academy!!Hope
