Love BlackBerrys. My fiancé and I go here a few times a month for a date night for good drinks and amazing food. Honestly we’ve tried a few things and have never disliked anything. It’s insane. All the staff are super friendly too. Overall great atmosphere.

The food was ok. The service was bad. The waitress never asked if we wanted refills or how our meal was.The person who was cleaning tables brought us our check.
Ordered takeout - 2 pulled chicken sandwiches and an order of pretzel bites. I walked in and staff were cold. Manager sitting at the bar drinking. I told the bartender I was picking up a to go order and she comes out with my order: except they bring out two pulled pork sandwiches instead of pulled chicken. No big deal. I let the bartender know and she took my bag back with hesitancy and walked back into the kitchen without saying a word, whispering to the manger on the way back into the kitchen. 15 minutes later, manager comes out with my order, politely apologizes and I leave. I get home to notice my pretzel bites I paid for were not in the bag. I call back the restaurant, explained the situation and politely ask for a comp of the pretzels. They offered dessert but I declined this and ask for a refund and was told “ok come on back.” I returned and was greeted by the same bartender who approached me as I walked halfway to the bar with my pretzel bites and the worlds smallest slice of cheesecake. I politely reminded her I did not want dessert and that I would rather have my pretzel bites comped. She then looked at me as if I was trying to perform a heist of my pretzel bites. “Well are you going to eat them?” “Yes,” I responded, “but my order was already messed up once, I am now driving all the way back here to pick up the pretzel bites you charged me for, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have them comped.” She angrily walks away and I sat at the bar for another 10 minutes while her and the tipsy manager consulted this apparently very critical situation in the back of house. Finally I was approached, asked for my card and I left. No apology. No thanks for coming back. No have a good night.We get home to cold soggy fries and the driest pulled chicken I’ve ever tasted. “Beer cheese” had a film of grease on the top of it.I’ve never posted a restaurant review in my life but having been someone who formerly worked in food service for many years and who now works in healthcare, the abhorrent treatment I received was disheartening.
The restaurant has been modernized under the new ownership. The food is really good and clean, and the outdoor space is such a big bonus. Please, stop by and support the local restaurants!

Ordered their crispy chicken sandwich, bbq burger, and house salad for take out. Its probably the best burger and chicken sandwich Ive ever had! The flavor and the quality of the meat just melts in your mouth. The salad was also very good and enjoyed their raspberry vinaigrette. Look forward to dining out on the patio soon. This place really has brought some positive energy to the island!
Great service, food, and drinks. My friends and I stopped yesterday evening to check it out and were certainly happy we did. We ended up getting the bbq burgers which were amazing and a few beers which were ice cold. The side garage door gives a nice breeze for warm summer evenings and they both an indoor and outdoor seating available. We will definitely be coming back again soon, thanks for having us, Blackberrys!
Good for both uninspiring food + music selection, Service was ok. As mediocre as it is they may be the best in the area.
Just ordered take-out from here and upon returning home I noticed there was a mishap with some missing sides. 10 minutes later a worker from Blackberry was at our door with the missing food and some. The customer service was phenomenal and only leaves my wife & I in one mood: that we will be back!Not to mention the food was awesome......burgers, french dip, etc. The coconut shrimp app was the best Ive ever had as well with the crispy french fries.Job well done to these owners. They know how to treat their clients!
Best burger I’ve had in any restaurant anywhere! Cooked medium and it was perfect with a little pink in the center. Got the BBQ burger & house salad. Salad was good too. Bringing 1/2 my burger home because I couldn’t eat it all. My husband got a burger also & couldn’t finish his. Service was very good.
We went as a last minute dinner decision and boy am I glad we did. It was a Friday and my husband had the fish fry which was so good. I tried a couple of the specialty drinks which were also good. The potstickers are out of this world and would be my recommendation at your visit!!. Excited to return.
Came here for dinner on a whim tonight. I had the crispy chicken sandwich (amazing--freshly breaded and fried) with a cute little house salad (instead of fries), house dressing tasted almost like a raspberry vinaigrette, was so good. My husband had the BBQ burger and said to me the meat definitely isnt frozen. I tasted a bite and agreed. Had the potsticker appetizer which was also very good. We will be back 😊

It was my first time at the restaurant and all of the hype was true! The restaurant was in full swing and service was still phenomenal! My server Angela was terrific on her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. She was quick with getting us our drinks and was very cheerful and nice! I ordered the classic cheeseburger and sweet potato fries with honey butter and syrup and it was even better than I was hoping for. I definitely recommend it and will be visiting there frequently!!!
We ordered take out on Valentines weekend, the surf and turf. Everything was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. It’s a hit or miss with takeout as the food usually gets soggy and cold, but this place had the togo orders packed so well and the food perfectly placed, that it was definitely a hit! Can’t wait to try other items on their menu!
I’ve tried a few different things on the menu and they’ve all been great! The coconut crusted shrimp, pretzel bites and French onion soup have been my favorite appetizers so far. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, once you eat the food and get to know the owners you’ll want to be back all the time! I love supporting local businesses, especially when it’s such an amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend :)
Been to Blackberry 3 times so far and my experience was fabulous. I’ve had the grilled chicken sandwich, French onion soup, and The cheeseburger... all three dishes were amazing. The atmosphere was chilled, relaxing, and Beautiful inside and outside! Also the staff members were very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Will be back again very soon!

When I arrived at this restaurant I was immediately greeted with an aura of comfortability and complete hospitality. I really enjoyed how personable and accommodating the staff were, which truly made the experience worth the while. The atmosphere is both casual but aesthetically sophisticated, dress up or dress down- you choose. Most importantly, the food is delicious. The menu consists of unique choices that cannot be found anywhere else. There is something for everyone at your table. I would definitely recommend this wonderful, charming new place and would come back time and time again!
I loved the atmosphere of this place! The decor is so modern and the building itself is very clean. Not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best French onion soup I’ve ever had & if you know me, that’s saying a lot! There is a huge bar but plenty of tables to seat for a date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommend checking out the specials that change weekly!

Service is terrible.. lucky I dont have to be anywhere. Cant even get food or drinks in a reasonable time. Less than half tables filled. Servers dont know the draft beer menu. You can actually hear people talking how bad and long they have been waiting. 3 tables have left since we have been here. 1 hour waiting for food. Waitress is clueless of where our food is. I wouldnt bother.. go to burger King and get a case of beer. Food is way over priced! 6 pieces if coconut shrimp for 14 bucks? Place could do much better ....
Wow what a great place to eat. I was a bit skeptical at first with the small menu but then the quality of the food was soo good that it more than makes up for it. They take reservations and I would recommend you do since its smaller on the inside and if the weather is bad they dont open the patio. It was loud in there so just know that going in but again the food was A++ so I will be back.
We walked half a hour to get there then it started to rain we walked in the host eyed us up and down and then told us we needed to leave and that it was reservations only. After we dried off in the bathroom the story changed up theyre suddenly where able to seat us at the bar needless to say after the host was rude n spoke to us with attitude we left and ate else where.
Love the patio doors and overall decor, very cozy place. French onion soup is my fave! I’ve been here a few times and everything I’ve ordered has been freshly made, tasted great, and has been aesthetically pleasing!
I would give them more stars if they allowed it. The service and food are excellent. The building used to be a dive bar. The new owners gutted it, now its like a restaurant youd see on the beach in Florida. Definitely one of my favorites...
Very quaint cute place and very great food. Service also great. You can sit inside or out and garage doors ro open indoor seating area for breeze. Reservations are accepted. I had the broiled haddock with slaw and mac salad, and hubby had the chicken sandwich. Everything was perfectly presented and delish! Highly recommended it! You wont be dissapointed with their unique menú. The French onion soup and cheese curds are amazingly delish! Kudos to the chef!
My husband and I tried Blackberrys Bar and Grill for the first time this past Saturday. We were impressed! All the staff that we interacted with were very friendly, the gentlemen on the phone for my reservation, to the friendly hostess who enthusiastically greeted us as we arrived and departed and our waitress Jamie was top-notch. Jamie loves her job at Blackberrys and that was evident as she enthusiastically told us that soon the restaurant will have live music some nights and Sunday brunches You know your in a good place when the employees are happy. The food was excellent! My husband ordered one of the specials, jerk chicken, which Jamie explained was made over their outdoor fire pit and a customer favorite. It did not disappoint, he was so impressed he took a picture of it. I believe it came on a bed of rice with salsa, beans and cornbread. Thats all the info I can provide on that as my eyes and mouth were fixed on my barbecue burger. It arrived at the table on a delicious roll that was branded on top and punctured with a knife full of onion rings. My dish also came with a generous portion of crispy fries. As we were leaving we let Jamie know that we will return, often! I noticed that they have make your own smores, my grandkids would love that! My husband and I will be back for that live music and who can resist a Sunday Brunch. Well done BlackBerrys!!!

We had a great meal, but the service from our server/ bartender Angie put our experience at Blackberrys over the top! She was very efficient and paid attention to every detail. Her personality made us feel so comfortable ... like we were old friends. I highly recommend checking out Blackberrys the next time youre in Grand Island!
Finally, a place that combines great food, service and ambiance on Grand Island! It was enjoyable to sit at the bar and admire the decor. Then, we had a wonderful dinner with attentive service. (The staff is taking care to adhere to all the new Covid rules but never made it an issue!) We had a totally relaxed -and fabulous - time at Blackberrys.

Absolutely horrible.. I saw a waitress push a women patron down over a tap she already paid. The waitresses were terrible....bar owner sat in a corner drinking...this place wont last long. Oh cops were called too band was great
Love the decor. Been three times, & my food was delicious. Portions are huge, enough for another meal. P. S. The drinks are delicious , as well. It’s only been open three weeks & they are doing a great job following the state guidelines for Covid .

They have a delicious chicken bbq on the open pit! They chicken was cooked perfectly so moist and tender! Sides were also very delicious! They do not disappoint!
Had the Annoto roasted pork Shoulder, handmade corn tamales, Spanish rice, black bean pico. The pork was fantastic, very tender and flavorful!!! Tge staf is very friendly and welcoming!!! A must stop for great food!!!

Our server was very friendly. Two tap beer and a shot of Jack Daniels and water on the side. A shot of Jack Daniels was on ice and we were charged $2.00 for the ice. Hmmmm. Total bill $21.10

2022-03-01The food is always presented so well upon delivery to the patrons table. The staff are always so kind & efficient. One can never go wrong with any of the various food menu options. Cocktails are always very tasty & most of all, the food is always exceptional.I thoroughly enjoy supporting this wonderful local business because the food, atmosphere & service is exceptional.The owners are pretty awesome as well and certainly take pride in pleasing their customers!!

2021-12-18The food tasted good and it was hot and fresh, but I found everything to be incredibly salty. The only thing I could taste was salt and pepper when eating the crispy chicken sandwich. I definitely recommend coming here.

2022-05-08Great Mothers day Brunch. Everything was great from the perfectly cooked Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy, French toast, Fluffy eggs to the hand carved beef and ham. As usual friendly happy service and a busy atmosphere. So glad they will be open for more days and hours. Will be back to enjoy their deck soon.

2022-05-21We love taking our annual field trip to BlackBerry’s! We have a picnic and play games and relay races! The chefs are amazing and the servers provide so much fun for our kids. Love this great new addition to Grand Island.

2022-04-09Food isnt that good . Pulled chicken is alright. Nothing to write home about.French dip was a little tough and dry. The au jus was good and a necessity with the beef being so dry.Fries sucked. I think they made a batch earlier and left them outWaitress was confused about what a gluten allergy was kept telling us they didnt have peanuts.
