I wanted to buy some clothes for the cold winter. I went there and in the clothes department, I asked for the price of the piece. The lady told me it was only one dollar. I took 7 shirts. I went to pay for them, but they wanted me to pay 14 dollars. Why did I ask before I extended my hand? I was very embarrassed because I do not have anything with me 10 dollars and I want to pay the bus fare, so I told the lady I can pay 10 and she will come back to the residence walking. She strongly refused and said if you need them, pay 14 dollars. I left them 😥😥and I am sad and upset. But Jesus did not leave me. 🙏I found a flea market and gave me clothes for free. Love the thrift store! They have a lot of clothes, homeware and little nicknacks you need. You select what you want to buy and bring it to the staff at the cashiers. They’ll tell you the final price. Often items are not more than a couple of dollars. God bless them for their service.

A really great place with great bargains, you can find so many treasures. Ive been going there for about 10 years now and its my therapy...if you can avoid some of the rude hovering old ladies that can take from the joy of the experience.

BSC is an old style, wide aisle down the middle, leading to a substantial alter. The church is populated by seasoned priests who know their scripture and deliver their message as if you were the only one in the church. No uncomfortable pauses, no controversy just Gods word as they understand it. I walked out of the church refreshed. Nice nice nice.

Let us all PRAY please for Father OConnor. Ive known him since I was 16 years old. He is a blessing in disguise. He is awesome and cool, and above all cares about everyone. Ive known father because he performed masses at St. Patricks Church in 1986. He is an inspiration to everyone, to not give up in life, to keep on following Gods path. I am truly blessed to have him in my life. God, has him here for a reason, to help people in the community. May God Bless you Father OCONNOR always. Thanks for always being here for me, kiddo!
