Feel free to come here if you want to be harassed by the parishioner that lives next door.They had a sign out front that said “OPEN” in large letters but with smaller writing underneath that was difficult to read driving by being there were cars behind me so I couldn’t slow down to look. I figured they wouldn’t be open on a holiday but thought I’d just swing around the block to check the sign because if it was open I wanted to go in. I never even made it to the sign to check: the moment I parked and got out of my car to walk over to the sign some women came out and started telling me I needed to leave. Trying to remain polite I tried to explain that I was stopping to check the sign to see when the thrift shop was open and she started walking towards me again telling me to leave. I obviously did not want some aggressive yelling stranger that had just been telling me I had to leave with no context coming near me so I began stepping back towards my car and yelled out louder I was going to the thrift store. I was again told to leave, informed that the parking lot belongs to the church and is private property, again told I can’t be there, and finally informed the thrift shop is only open on Saturdays.So yeah just an FYI don’t you dare have trouble reading their poorly designed sign and have the audacity to stop and try to read it. Because an gauche woman will come yell at you for being there. Obviously this church is a very welcoming one based on how the people it services act.

Love this little place! They’ve got a good selection of clothes-winter, casual, business-for both men and women trying to live on a budget. And you’ll find little odds and ends for your home too. Don’t be surprised the prices aren’t marked. Just choose what you need and take it to the wonderful staff at the counter and they’ll tell you your final bill. Often, items aren’t more than a couple of dollars. If you decide not to buy an item, you can leave it with them. Thank you for your service to the community.
