I absolutely love Blessingdales. The staff is friendly and very professional. I also like the fact that part of the proceeds go towards a worthy cause. (drug addiction facility-Long Island Teen Challenge) The monthly 50% sales are a bonus and you never know what youll find at Blessingdales.
This was a good place to save money, if you need it to get something for the house cheap and quick this was the place, but when greed take over and they believe they building a great business out of Donations a wrong move happened, this guys move to a bigger place and now they have a new showroom where they sell actually new merchandise, also the few used items are now expensive, this was an small busy store, now is a big empty place.Wrong move, I wish you luck I believe you will need it, is amazon times you can’t do this.The point of this business was to go and get a deal and sometimes you can negotiate a price with the manager, now that’s not posible.
I purchased a hospitsl bed table and a kayak. 4 pairs of jeans that fit great for $4.99 each. Fair prices, good quality.
Its a major go to place before you go shopping.They have everything you need at better price and all proceeds go to big brothers and big sisters.And the staff is wonderful too!!!

10 Years ago this place was filled with customers, but then they started to off load their items on the Flea Market guys, and the prices all went up. Now if you are shopping around you may be the only customer, and think you are a shop lifter if you leave without buying anything. At most you are saving 20% on open product and all their merchandise are Walmart Returns.Basically Walmart washes their return items via Blessingdales. After being reimbursed by the companies for their losses. Walmart donates the damaged returns to this religious charity, and used it as a tax write off. If it doesnt sell in the store it is sold to a third party reseller, flea market or over seas shipper. Free labor involves church volunteers and community service sentenced criminals. Ive seen huge amounts of money trade hand for large deals, but zero paper work or invoices, so does the Church really get the money or does it go into the pockets of the managers?
The prices are great, the people are helpful. I enjoy shopping here, with new finds each time.
My visit to this store was like no other. Everyone was welcoming and constantly asking if I needed something else, even though I wasnt a customer. I went there for an interview with another company.

2022-02-15Great furniture prices and staff. I bought 6 pieces here for my new house this week, and I think I saved 70% off retail for all quality hardwood furniture. They have a ton of great stuff and friendly helpful staff who helped load my truck and packed everything with care. Give this place a try you wont come out dissatisfied

2022-06-14I had such an amazing experience at Blessingdales Clearance & Thrift Center. A friend was looking for affordable bedroom furniture. He searched high and low, only to find things are very expensive. We visited this location and found exactly what he needed at amazing prices. He was even able to get livingroom furniture. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. I also learned that all proceeds go to an organization that help addicts get clean. Please check them out if you are in need of any furniture. Be sure to ask for Gordon, who is amazing! I’m still amazed at how wonderful my experience was.

2022-02-07Gordon- the general manager is super friendly and helpful. He would help you through all your questions and assistance. He makes the best and fair offers. We first chatted in the market place for a nice white chair and he got it hold for me until I came to the store. He’s very patient and humble. He runs the store very organized and clean. There are very helful personnels that can help you carry your big stuff and load it to your vehicle.The store itself is a best deal of everything, you should come and visit. Nice furnitures and other stuff at a very affordable price. Will surely visit again and highly recommended!

2020-11-23This place has a bit of everything. What you can buy all depends on what day you are there. Furniture, clothes and toiletries are the usual staples but you can also find a back rack for a trike or hunting clothes. All depends on what they get in. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The selection of clothes for men could be a bit more but the womens section is large.

2017-10-01They used to be a great thrift store and I was able to get good deals on household items, clothes & diapers. I dont know what happened but they lost their mind & started charging outrageous prices. The original staff was nice & helpful. The new ones are rude, dont greet customers & treat them like criminals. I just go right to the thrift store on the other side of the street, been happy with them ever since
