Accidents happen, but rest assured the crew over at this location will do everything necessary in order to fix the problem, you just need to stay calm and give them time. A+ to their overall customer service, as I felt like I was being heard and listened to, rather than being just “another customer/sale”. The fixed/rectified all issues with little to no hassle. 👍 Great Company and will recommend to family and friends alike!
Had a wonderful experience when my husband and I walked into Blinds to go …Our consultant was very sweet and helpful .The guy who measured my window was perfect …took about 4 weeks to get my blinds installed ! I’m very happy with the installation process …. My only complaint was I found a small piece of glass from my mirrored cabinet on the floor …. I super glued it but was very upset …. This definitely happened when the installer was here …didn’t notice this until I cleaned up….my order number is 998677! Thank you !
After installation we called because the blinds were not straight. We called and spoke with the store and were told we would receive a call back. We called back several times and still no call back to address our issue. The last call we threatened to have our credit card company cease payment. Customer Service is horrible. I would not recommend them and certainly would never use them again.
Afther we left Raymour and Fanigen this past Sunday .We drove over to Blinds To Go .We were looking for window treatment .They have all different manufactures of blinds and curtain and rods all shapes and sizes . All colors as well .They will come to your houes and measure the windows for you . Then install them when they come in . My wife was very impressed , she also found what she was looking for . . .Its a nice store !Have a good weekend once again . . . . . .
My blinds are beautiful however:- One of my living room blinds came broken so now I have to wait for someone to call and confirm it’s been reordered.- I ordered black out roller blinds for my bedroom but there is at least an inch opening on each side so a good amount of light still gets in. I would like to discuss another option.
My order came in pretty much on time it was a 5-6 week wait. The installers were professional, neat & made sure everything looked perfect! They even steamed my blinds & cleaned up what ever mess they made as far as dust. I would definitely recommend them if your not in a rush for window treatments!
Overall blinds look great minus never getting my valances correctly measured or installed. Manufacturing is great as well as install team. Many errors made when blinds to go team cameTo measure and why I am still waiting on balances to be installed. Also annoying they take full payment and promise to compete. Install started in November and now January and all I can do is call and ask for updates and really get no answers or timeline on when install will be done
Blinds are pricey but I’m happy with them. Had to wait almost two months from the time I ordered them until they were installed. Some of the slats were damaged. They were replaced with no problem but you would think the factory would send a few extra with the installer. The installer, Alton, was excellent. Professional and very accommodating. I would recommend but if you’re in a rush this is not the company for you.
While the staff was kind and attentive, the product was poor in design. We should Not have been offered faux wood blinds as a window treatment option for 2 reasons, first they are unreasonably heavy to raise and next they are warped even though they are brand new. We had the store send out the mechanism to be replaced, we had to pay additionally for this, to have a cord installed to hopefully raise the blinds more easily. This barely helped. So in our experience be sure not to order faux wood blinds unless you have a small window .
To be fair, we have been happy with their blinds before 2020. Good service and good warranty.BUT Since the Pandemic, everything changed. They are understaffed, under trained in the stores and in their 800 call centers. Calling the store is impossible - no one ever answers. Going to the store means a 30 minute wait or more. And they are always busy. Manufacturing time is 1 month... if they get it right.In Aug, we put in the first order for 3 blinds. 2 weeks later they called and asked for measurements again. I went in and worked with the manager.This order was screwed up even more with everything wrong, address, dates, telephone #, actual product description.When we finally got the blinds installed, one blind is VERY SLOW to turn the tilting wand. It seems as if they put in a SLOWER gear on purpose (you have to turn it over 10 times to open or close the blind). They do sell a faster mechanism. This smells like a bad switch deal.When i called the 800 customer service line several times you cannot get through. When you leave contact information, They do not call back -several times. Im stuck with something I am dissatisfied with with no recourse.I would just go to Lowes or Home depot. For the price you pay you at least you get to talk to a person and actually see the product on the shelves, instead of wall mounted models as samples and demo.Very poor service and lowest level of satisfaction in the retail market.
Fantastic placeYoung lady helped us pick out blinds for a bay window. She gave us different options and was the sweetest salesperson we have come across in all our shopping. I would only recommend this place for window dressings. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thank you for making our shopping a pleasant experience.
I picked up all 7 blinds yesterday and installed them without any issues. I did not like the plastic brackets so I bought some metal ones and installed them after I placed the order a few weeks ago. The blinds were well made and cut to my specifications. Thank you for your help.
The customer Service in store was a 2 hour wait to order blinds. The next visit took one hour to schedule an appointment.No one answers the phone and no one calls you back in 24 hours. Needs to improve. More staff needs to be in the store.I am satisfied with the blinds.But so happy I do not have to return to that store.
Customer service on day 1 was good. However, once I placed my order and paid money I was very unhappy with the follow up. The sales rep told me that it would take approximately a week for me to get my order. A week later I heard nothing. When I called to follow up, the sales rep said she’d call me back by the end of the day with the status. She did not call. I called a couple days later and left message with no return call. Another week went by and I called again. I spoke with the same sales rep. At that time, she lets me know that she never pushed the order through and need to confirm my measurements again. It would take 2 weeks for my blinds to be ready. I was very upset and she said that she’d make sure to follow up with me in a couple days to see if she can expedite the order. She never called. From this point, it took another 3 weeks and 4 calls to make sure that they were doing anything.Blinds to go is not worth the stress if you have another option.
We have had the worst experience with blinds to go ever since the pandemic. The sent us damaged blinds, with holes in them. We sent it back and the new blinds came back with different damage. The edges were frayed and cut Crooked. I called the store and no one answered for days. I finally got through to someone who said they would call me with a solution and never did. As of now they have thousands dollars of my money and I have damaged blinds I can’t use. The company has fallen apart since the pandemic. In comparison my friend ordered Blinds from a different company and had no issues at all. So it’s not a pandemic issue, it’s a blinds to go issue. Don’t recommend them at all!
I ordered shutters for the first and second floors and just had them installed last week. The sales specialist Zoey I think her name was had helped me design the layout for my windows and was very knowledgeable. Matt did the measuring and install and did an amazing job through the process. 👏 I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish .Big applause to Ashly for her follow up calls.
Terrible experience. I waited 6 weeks before I started calling them. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS. I left 6 messages in 2 weeks. I finally had to physically go back to the store to find out they NEVER PLACED MY ORDER. They were very busy and short staffed I got a refund and cancelled my order.
This was my first experience dealing with Blinds to Go and I am very satisfied customer. I am very happy with the service that i had received.From the moment I spoke to Jamal Ham on the phone to the moment I handed Jamal my broken custom shade ( broken draw string ), I knew I was in good hands.My blind was sent out for repairs by their team of professionals and was back up in my home in 3 days as promised! I highly recommend Blinds to Go in Carle Place and kudos to Jamal Ham 👏
It was very easy to select blinds. Sales woman. The installer Jo was a great guy. The only reason I didn’t give it all stores is because we are still waiting on one strip of the blinds that was defective because it had a stain on it and it Still hasn’t been replaced. My complaint is that everything takes far too long to get. We had to wait an excessive amount of time to get the blinds in the store. And fortunately Joe recognized two issues. One of them was that a piece that goes on top was missing in the package and the other is that one of the pieces of the blinds was stained. Whomever packaged the product for us to receive should have examined it closely before giving it to the installer. That supervisory check was not done. Otherwise we are very happy with the blinds they’re wonderful but we do await the replacement piece of the blinds. The installer did do something to make it look OK without it but it is missing and must be replaced. These blinds are far superior to the ones we had which were made out of plastic and had broken in several places.
I am downgrading my rating for this store. The service second time around as a repeat customer has been abysmal. I ordered 2 shades in August 2021. What was supposed to be a matter of a couple of weeks for availability and installation turned into months and a big disappointment. After numerous emails and phone calls inquiring about the delay, the shades were finally installed on November 29, 2021. However, when the installer was still at my house, I noticed that the shades were defective, having a brown weave running across the off white fabric. This was reported to the store with photos, bot by the installer and me requesting replacement. After not hearing anything about the replacement, I called emailed and called the store only to find out nothing had been done. After much back and forth, I was told by one of the design consultants on December 23, 2021 that the shades were reordered. It is now April 1, 2022, and I have not received the replacements. Nobody ever reached out to me about this until I started calling again. I still have not heard back about availability of the replacement shades. This poor customer service is very disappointing. I understand there can be mistakes in manufacturing, but the poor followup and lack of care in rectifying this problem to date is inexcusable.
My dude Mikey attracted me in with his blinding beauty & then threw some shade at me & I was sold, everything is blood red in my house before I open the blinds in the morning & I LOVE IT.. #exactlyasdreamtofIf you have an issue with morning light bothering you & possibly even blinding you, well fear not, at Blinds To Go they wont let you go blind🤘🥳
We have bought Venetian blinds from Blinds To Go several times over the past 10 years. We have always been satisfied. Price is not the lowest, but the quality is worth whatever extra you might pay. We have always walked in knowing the size and type of blind we were looking for, so we can’t speak for BTG’s consulting services.
Excellent service with kind and professional help by my sales lady Kathy Spirito. She spent time with me and gave me thoughtful advice. She was really great. Chris came and took perfect measurements and returned yesterday to hang my new window treatments. He did a perfect job and was also very pleasant to deal with. I am 100% satisfied with the service and quality of their products. Blinds to Go exceeded my expectations!
I purchased blinds for my living room, dinning room and two bedrooms. Mike Lombardi installed them all and was very professional, clean and respectful of my furniture around where he worked. I am upset with myself for not listening to my design consultant, Yoanis Santana. He made recommendations regarding the color schemes and the types of blinds to choose based on what my needs were for all the rooms. But I only took his advise for the main bedroom. All the blinds look great, but I am in love with the color Yoanis picked for my bedroom. Thanks Blinds to Go, this was an overall wonderful experience.
Horrible customer service. My wife dropped off a blind for repair 2 weeks ago. The representative said the blind would be repaired/replaced within the same week same week. We have not received a call to pick up a new blind. My wife calls and leave voicemails, but nobody calls back. She stopped in and waited in line for 45 minutes, but my toddler could not wait any longer and she had to leave. I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend it to anybody else.
I purchased the window blinds for my apartment. I made two trips to the store of Blinds to Go. One for gaining information to make a plan and the second one to order the blinds. The agent was very informed and gave us a lot of information that we would otherwise not know. There were choices to select. It took more time to cut than promised. Just picked up the blinds. I’m satisfied so far.
The quality of the product is excellent. However, it was difficult to arrange for my installation date. I left my information on the store’s recorded message and was told that someone will return my call. I ended up going back to the store in person to arrange this date. Phone service needs to be improved.
Great place to shop for blinds or curtains. They have a good selection of styles and sizes. Custom made for perfect fit. Items ready in good time and no problem getting installation scheduled. Blinds To Go is a great place to shop for your blinds and shades!!! Also much cheaper then private shops.
For the price, this product took way too long to manufacture and get delivered. Dimensions that I needed were not very complicated, so I don’t know why it took almost 3 months to receive. For prices like that I’ll straight to Hunter Douglas and pay a little more but receive it in a timely manner.
I always ordered my blinds from BTG and had good experiences.However this time it was horrible.My story is this:Ordered 2 shades for my bedroom. One worked beautifully the other was a problem. They were cord less. Ordered on 6/15 and delivered a few weeks later.The defective shade was a problem to begin with.If you raised it up, it lowered it self down. Calling store is a issue. always playing phone tagCalled for repair. Installer came out and took shadeSaid it was tension and can’t be repaired on site must go to factory or store.I am very patient this went on 7 times. Finally all parties agreed to get a new shade.We waited weeks again then we started calling we’re shade?They said they lost it so near shade was orderedInstaller came again. Put up shade.I swear they lied “ new shade was really original shade because it was dropping again.It gets betterCalled customer service in Canada and sent them videos of shadeThey set me up to get there beat installer to come with Allen wrench to fix tensionOk so installer comes walking in with box containing brand new shadeGuess what works goodHope this is the end of story“ people in this BTG are like chickens running around without heads”Hey BTG how about compensation for me for what you put me through?
I purchased the blinds for my slide-in back door in 2014. Eventually some came off and the track broke. Saw the commercial and I forgot about the lifetime guarantee. Gave them a call and the professional came and replaced the track. Just had to pay for labor. True to their word, I was very happy!! 😊I wish I remembered last year. 😆
Two years ago I purchased 19 blinds. They were exactly what I wanted for my home. Unfortunately, 6 of them did not work correctly. I finally got around to getting them fixed but, because of the delay, they no longer make the same model. I was told that the mechanism would be different when I got the blinds back. This was fine with me as the valance would cover the mechanism. However, the base of the blind does not match the original ones in my home now. This would have been a simple thing to change but no one took the time to do it. Also, every new wand is curved. The blinds are working but I now have to have mismatched blinds and curved wands. I find this very frustrating.
Given I haven’t really used them, I’m giving 2-stars for effort. I’ve tried calling this location and their phone never goes through…so when I went to the store, the customer service rep up front seems very uninterested in their customers. I asked if I could have someone measure my windows since I’ve just renovated my entire house and in need of blinds for both 1st and 2nd floor. She told me that I have to measure them myself, give a deposit, and then someone would then come to measure them….quite honestly, if I were to measure them myself, I mind as well install it myself…so what’s the point of asking for someone to measure and install…? As we continued to browse around, the lady up front just seemed to be annoyed of our presence, so we just left. I guess they don’t need customers? I suggest the company revaluate their customer service reps because that was a seriously unpleasant encounter.
Blinds to go in Carle Place was very prompt and their service was excellent. The blinds were to come in two weeks, and as scheduled they came in. They immediately set me up with an appointment for installation and it was done. There was a problem with missing rods, probably from the manufacturer, but that problem was rectified immediately a few days after installation. So from planning with measurements to installation it was an all-around very good experience. Thanks much to Gioia!! And Alton!!
Great costumer service.We had broken blinds that needed small fix before putting our home for sale. We went to a different location and were told that they dont fix blinds and we have to buy new blinds. We went to Carle Place location and had 2 employees (one of them manager) working for at least 30 min trying to figure out the purchase # so we could send those blinds back to the factory to be fixed. My blinds were fixed in 2 days and I didnt have to spend money for new set. Thank you to two wonderful employees at Carle Place location. We will definitely return when we purchase our new home.
The service on my repair was preformed well. The only problem is the wait time to drop off and pick up the repair. You have to sign in and wait until a sales person has finished with however many people are before you. I spent 25 minutes to drop off and 45 minutes to pickup my repair. The time I was with the sales person was only 5 minutes. Please figure out a better way!!!!
Installer was fabulous ….was able to install dining room 2 windows no problem… the skylight window not so much … he was given wrong measurements on the blind … waited a month & AGAIN wrong measurements!!! Hopefully 3rd is a charm ( another month I’m guessing ugh) 3rd time wasn’t good neither !! So finally 4th time done !!!
It takes alot for me to write a bad review for a business because I generally have patience and I understand things happen, however, this store was absolutely AWFUL! Just awful. I wasnt notified when my blinds came in, even though I made it clear time was of the essence and I was promised them in 60 days. Were going on 90 now and theyre still not installed (I did a partial install when some of the order came in). I was told to wait for a call for install by one customer service rep, then when I called back to tell them I wasnt contacted, another customer service rep told me I was lying. Then, I had a scheduled install, waited for it, and never showed. Was told it was a computer glitch. Every time I called to speak to a supervisor I was told they were unavailable. I will NEVER do business with them again, even though I already had a $2000 motorized roman shade already picked out for a different window. Id rather go back to shopping around for a new window treatment than deal with this store again.**Update**As requested, order number 011968. Order is finally fulfilled and installed.
The quality of the blinds is on par with something from Walmart. However, the length of time to get them is 2-3 months. Then, the blinds come wrong size, defective, and the order comes incomplete.The customer service is a challenge as you can’t trust them over the phone, then have to drive each time to the store to have each item addressed.Would never recommend this store/company in the future to anyone I know. Have voiced my opinion several times to the staff and they have fully agreed with my statements. Dont buy anything at this store.the place is shabbily kept and run even worse. My wife wanted blinds from this place despite the fact that the woman treated us disrespectfully and unprofessionally.so I let her place the order even though I knew the salesperson was going to do something to see to it the order would be wrong. My wife said maybe shes just having an off day. Sure enough. Not 2 days...not 5 days.... not10 days.... 2 weeks go by and our measurements were lost. They just realized. You mean while most businesses are starving for customers my paperwork said for 2 weeks before they started to fill the order.?? I worked with the public for 35 years and in that time I would never think to treat a customer as rudely as I was treated at Blinds To Go in Carle Place. Do yourselves a big favor take your money take your business and go elsewhere youll thank me in the end. But if you do go there dont let the sales person named Denise process your paperwork !!!!!!!!!!
I was given an estimate of 564.44 for part of my order for drapes. After measurement Of the drapes i was shocked to see that the price of the drapes DOUBLED to $1163. I had called and spoke to employees at blinds to go for about a week trying to get in touch with Sasha Walker my agent. I never received a phone call back. I ended up going to blinds to go in Carle Place myself because I got no response. When I got to the store after leaving work I saw Sasha at the store. I asked why the price had jumped so dramatically and she said it was because the measurement, a difference of 4 INCHES caused the drapes to be custom MADE instead of custom FIT.. I then asked why no one had told me this before purchase since I had spoken to multiple employees besides Sasha on the phone. Sasha checked her records and saw that NO ONE had told me about the price increase before completion of sale and told me that it was a mistake on the stores part that they had not notified me. She said she would contact her manager and I would receive a discount.. days for by no phone call no notification from Sasha. I HAD TO PHYSICALLY GO TO THE STORE AGAIN... on my own after work to talk to Sasha again. She said just order the installation and she would take care of it and give me the discount the next day after she speaks to her “manager” three days have gone by since then and still heard nothing...after I complained and sent an email to the parent company surprise surprise I get a call. NOW it wasn’t a four inch difference it was a 23 inch difference and I am getting a measly discount. I am shocked and appalled by the service of this company.. It is shameful that I have to resort to these measures for a company I thought cared about it’s customers
Quality of product is fine. Communication is terrible. I have not received any order status notifications. Order is still incomplete with no explanation. I have to keep checking website my self. Lots of competition out there. Next time I will explore other options.Never heard from blind to go regarding my order even though they asked for additional info. As stated, terrible communication and now follow-up. I removed one star. I won’t be purchasing new items from them in future.
Hands down the best place to go if you want great customer service, design ideas and affordable prices. I work at night and sleeping during the day is killer. Omar was quite helpful when he suggested the black out shades. Im definitely coming back for all my window treatment needs
Very bad experience with purchase of blinds/shades at Blinds To Go at old country road,Carle place for my new house. They made mistakes with order and the quality of material is cheaper compare to what is on display at showroom.Within few weeks of use 3 of blinds have broken wand and chords and good luck getting it repaired by BlindsTo Go,total waste of time and money.

After waiting 2 months due to delays from Covid, my blind came in broken. It was sent back to be fixed to still be broken. I had to fight to have a new blind made, if you couldn’t repair the blind after the 2nd time how am I to know I won’t have any problems with the blind once/if fixed. The material was back ordered so had to wait another month. The whole process was made even more painful with the sales associate being non responsive, my phone calls were not returned. I had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages. Finally once the blind was fixed I was able to discuss compensation. The associate I was working with was on vacation, so I was given a name of someone else to speak with. When calling he was able to provide compensation, but felt I was just compensated to be appeased as when I asked if he was filled in on my situation his response was no and he had just wanted to review my order to determine the compensation. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything. I would not recommend using blinds to go, their customer service is non existent. I could go on more with my experience, just horrible. They are just concerned with the sale and that is it.
My blinds came in broken 3 times. I still dont have my blackout blinds I ordered in January! The blinds I was sold at shop st home dont sit right in windows either. Sales person didnt bother to tell me they would stick out two inches beyond frame. Look ridiculous. Waste if money. Black out blinds are white on other side and look very cheap in the gray color i picked.
Extremely disappointed by the service. I placed order for blinds on Feb 23rd for our new house and the order was supposed to be ready in 2 weeks. I checked the status and half of the order was ready within 7 business days while the other half was pushed all the way to April 1st. I called & requested for partial installation and paid additional $40 and no one bothered to call me back to schedule it for a week. When they finally called, they gave me date of March 24th. The guy comes in to install half of the order but he forgets the blinds for the largest window and tells me he will come later that evening or tomorrow morning and guess what 5 days have passed and the guy did not show up. Now coming back to the remaining window blinds, the date is pushed to April 5th. So now, i have half of the order held by the blinds to go which keeps getting delayed, 1 window blind with some installer and the 3 blinds installed. When i call to request for more information, they always say - someone will call you back and no one really calls back. I am extremely disappointed and WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone.Sure order number : 439101Update as of April 16: My order was supposed to be ready by April 5th and now pushed to May 8thCalling the store is waste of time because they tell you - that we will call you back which never really happens
Why are they called blinds to go? They take over 2 months to get here. Paid extra to have one of their professionals measure my windows so if they mess up measurements they replace them. You have to be on top of this company! If you don’t call every few days to check up on your order they will take their sweet time! I went their in person to ask if the measurements were uploaded and my sales rep said no but then checked her computer to say they “just” got uploaded. Yeah okay. Then we decided to only do some curtains blackout instead of all so that gave us a few hundred dollars refund. A month later and no refund on card. Where did it go? We called the store and they said the sales rep never put it through. I’m asking why not if we were there the day the rep said we’ll get partially refunded. Well, their answer “I don’t know why she didn’t do it”. So If I wouldn’t have caught this they would have kept my refund. Next, you have to stay on top of asking when your blinds will be there! You have to keep calling them so they can check on them. I called 5,6,7,8 weeks out and blinds weren’t there yet. Okay was told they’ll be here the following week. I called the following week nope nada! Another rep answered the phone next time and checked for my blinds and told me they’re not here and that they may have to reorder them. He then said that my sales rep will have to put the order through but that she although was with a client wants to check for herself before confirming anything. Well my sales rep called back the same day...surprise surprise my blinds were all there. Honestly, there is nonsense of urgency. They collect their commission of your order and they could care less if you have your blinds as soon as they come in. Then they tell me scheduling will call you back to set up an appointment. Oh goodness! Now we procrastinate even more days! I didn’t get a call back so I call the office again. Turns out the appointment scheduler is somewhere in Canada. Okay, so I could have called them myself to set up an appointment. Geez... was a mess! Seriously, stay on top of this company step by step if you want to get your blinds in a timely manner.well, finally I got my appointment scheduled for installation a week and a half out after my blinds were confirmed. I was given a Wednesday then moved up to a Monday since a slot opened up. Then they didn’t come on my scheduled Monday because my blinds were “missing”. Turned out another installer took them so he could get credit for installing it on Wednesday because he told me that I was his customer and on his schedule. They finally “squeezed me in” not my scheduled Monday but on Tuesday. Well the more expensive optional blackout curtains let glare in through sides of blinds , but was told this is normal. So it defeats the purpose of the blackout feature. The installer said that maybe I could have specified I wanted the blinds to be flushed with window moldings. Umm? Don’t they know that’s why people want blackout? So they can have a dark room to sleep better in? Spent about $4K for 9-11 windows. They are nice blinds , not sure if they’re worth $4k. And then you have the headache of the appointment mixed up. You pay extra for “blackout” that lets glare in and that’s “normal”? Hmm. There has to be a better solution out there. Oh, and one last thing. Be prepared to be left with a bunch of cardboard boxes from 3-9ft long. Installer told me Blinds To Go does not take their trash with them. First time a big company leaves me a mess or deal with. Where’s the 100% customer satisfaction promised by company?
The communication with customers is very poor. To only communicate by email is very poor. I don’t read my email often and my blinds were in and I didn’t know until 2 months later. No one even tried to call me. So when I called I got a voice mail during business hours and needed to be called back. Don’t know if I would shop with you again.
Had a blind repair done. Helpful staff. Made everything very easy. Quick turn around on the repair. Would have given 5 stars but I’m not happy with the new design of the mechanical parts they replaced. Blind goes lopsided to easy and you have to work at getting it straight as you go up and down.
I went in already knowing what style and color I was going for, so I was able to get a quick estimate and set up an appointment for measurements in about 10 minutes. Measured on Friday, called to place order on Saturday, blinds were ready to install by Monday. Quick service. Reasonably priced. Very happy with my purchase. Looks great!
Wonderful, low key buying experience. I was guided by Gioia who showed me the merits of each kind of treatment I had in mind. The devil was in my measuring and she took those measurements and came up with a DYI plan for me. Well, I tried but I called your company to ask if you installed. You did and I am all set for installation. And the installation cost was next to nothing. Thank you very much.
I purchased the remote controlled blinds which are nice and had professional installer do. I have had continuous problems with one of the three which are adjacent. The end one will not line up with the the other two and even the installer could not fix. I brought back to the store for repair because it kept losing its charge. When it was returned I could not get it to work. I went back to the store with my remote since it appeared it needed to be reprogrammed. The salesman didnt know how to do it and no instructions come with the blinds and there is no customer service number to contact. Fortunately there was an installer at the store and he kindly programed it. I think that if you sell something you should know how to service it and you should provide instructions to the customer.
2 Very good experiences except for the promptness of measurer/installer on my second purchase.Though the gentleman was very nice, the scheduled 2 hour window of arrival on both the measure and the installation ends were not kept, interfering with my plans.We are very happy with the product and how quickly the order was fulfilled.Sasha is a gem.
WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! this is NOT the place to go to, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! the customer service is wretched; they could care less on helping you pick out colors, designs, patterns; when they call you to come in to pick up your order, THEY CANT FIND IT! ; They lie and do not coordinate their deceit.... Bottom line, save your money and time and effort and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
The store employees were very professional overall. I worked with Nakia almost exclusively. She was cooperative and patient discussing options and offering suggestions when I was debating on style. She was very knowledgeable about the particulars of the products. The order was ready within only a few days, and the installer was available almost immediately. I had the blinds measured and installed by Bruce. Bruce was excellent. He was very prompt on his appointment time and excelled with the work at hand. He worked quietly and efficiently. To top it off, he was incredibly kind to my children, even with a 3 year old following him around asking questions and showing off her toys. I love my new blinds and the service was top notch.
Absolutely the WORST customer service. I ordered blinds there on a Sunday night and tried to change one measurement Monday morning, less than 12 hours later. They were rude on the phone, incompetent, and basically told me tough luck. They claim the order was already in process (which was physically impossible considering it took two weeks to make the blinds). Then, there is absolutely no refund or discount for making the change. I would have to be NUTS to ever shop there again. For the price that you pay, it is not worth it the headache. STAY FAR AWAY from this place!
I would give 0 stars are if that would have been possible. Placed an order for blinds after five days I called to check if my order was ready and I was told that my order is on hold. I asked the reason and they didnt know the reason. Very unprofessional. I would never make a purchase here again. I would pay more somewhere else for Peace of mind but never ever again will make purchase this store. Now I have to wait another 4 to 5 days for my order. Store staff did nothing to expedite the order. Team of idiots...
Sales Representative Ms. Walker, was very courteous, professional and detailed. She listened carefully and fulfilled our order as requested. Our installer Mr. Tripodi was also very nice and friendly. We love the customer service and will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.
Salespeople are not knowledgeable. We ended up with horrible quality blind in our bedroom that lets light in, we were NOT told about any of the options to block out light. We went back for one more order and what a mistake. The installer company they use is horrible. The guy sounds like he doesn’t want to be bothered.. he’s nasty and cold. The blinds are still not in a month later and we played phone tag with this place a million times. They haven’t offered anything to make it right... very unhappy. Will never use them again.Update: called corporate over a week ago no one has gotten back to me to find a solution. What a joke of a business. Never ever ever going there again.
Horrible customer service. I placed an order for over &1000.00. It was promised to me within one week. After one week I called to find out that only half of the order was delivered to the store, no one was able to offer an explanation. Nothing would have been done unless I called. Finally they come in and the installer comes to my home all ready to install. Now it seems that parts are missing. Over a six weeks has passed with no resolution. I call, people promise to call back and they dont. I have paper blinds that the installer put up on my Windows since he took the old ones down. I even had calls asking me why they arent installed. Had the last call last week. The guy had no idea the installer was unable to install because parts were missing. I am seriously considering getting an attorney to get my money back. Such a disgrace. Never again.
Jamal was my blinds to go consultant. And I think he sincerely wants to help. The problem being that for a very large, whole house, job this store is simply not up to the task.The job was delayed when the factory failed to fill the initial order, blinds were out of stock- and I was told discontinued, but instead of informing us on a timely basis, simply let us twist in the wind for months.Then, once informed of that, substitute blinds were picked out, it again took about a month for the new blinds to be produced.But, then ... Inexplicably the factory only delivered 2/3s of the blinds. Oops, have to order more.Another month, still waiting, was told by Jamal they purposefully delayed putting in the order to the factory because the installer went on vacation.If you have a bungalow with a couple of windows, maybe. Big job, no way.Nightmare and highly not recommended.Update: Upon following up on the order, I was told that the center opening tracks are now on back order but that they would try to get the factory to fill the order first.
Just bought and installed about 20 blinds for my new house. The service is amazing. Prompt, professional, beautiful and reasonable price. Better than I expected. Bruce who partner with the store came to measured and installed all blinds. He is so professional, prompt and polite. Amazing. Excellent service.Love you guys!!
Impossible to reach anymore after you put down the deposit. Call them every day, left messages to call back and didnt receive a call back at all. If you need to reach anyone at the store, you have to physically drive to their store every time you need something. Just terrible! Well, you got what you paid for. That it is!
I have been coming to this Westbury location for over a decade and I have to say its good enough that I keep coming back. There always seems to be some deal on blinds almost anytime during the year. Besides the antiquated signing into a book for check.in to receive service, there is really no complaints. The blinds have always been good quality and made to order. The instructions are simple enough and easier to understand more than others. If you need extra parts (e.g., handles for cordless, screws, anchors, etc.), the store is always willing to help you out at no extra cost. It is nice not to be nickel and dime for everything.
If I could give them zero stars I would. First, we ordered our blinds over a month ago online and even though they were delivered to the store, something “happened with the system” and they did not notify us of their arrival. My husband had to call them multiple times and when he called to ask about the order they said they would call back by “end of day” and didn’t. When we came to pick up our blinds, there was absolutely no one to greet us, we had to flag someone down and be dismissed that the three employees working were all busy. When we told them we were just picking up our order and asked if we should come back on a different day, we were informed that there was “no telling how long the wait would be...sorry.” If we didn’t already pay for the order online we would have cancelled. This is ridiculous and we will never be shopping here again.
My experience was awful. It took 2 months from when I placed my order to have my blinds installed.The guy who took the measurements forgot to place the order. When you call the store it is impossible to speak to a live person as they will not answer the phone if they have customers in the store. Finally the guy who installed the blinds was rude and did not respect the privacy policies of my office. I would never deal with this company again as they have too many people involved in the process with poor communication.
Went in to purchase blinds. Walked in, signed in and took a seat. There were 2 costumers in the store, one being helped in the back, another leaving. I sat there, waited for about 15 minutes and I heard the gentlemen ask the lady in the back if she would be willing to help the gentleman waiting. She asked Do I really have to? I rather finish packing these boxes.. So, I got up and left. Based on the other reviews, I see they are great. Based on my experience, I do not feel that way. They had about 4 people or more on staff.I didnt want to inconvenience them.
After purchasing our house, we were not sure which blinds would look great with our paint colors. The latest trends, colors, all are available at this location as well as the one on hempstead turnpike. We bought all the Vertical shades and cordless honeycomb blinds from this location! Love them all! Great pricing!
This location is short staffed and delivery time was longer then expected. Upon arrival of items, they were Incorrectly packaged. Items were missing from packages. Some items didn’t even come in package. Had to reorder missing items. Staff was helpful and apologetic.
If you are looking to get lied to and ripped off head right over! The sales staff lies as a team. Bought a blind, brought it back because it doesnt work properly and the sales staff says its fine! Called customer service 3 times to get it worked out or get help. They told me the store says it works perfect if your still upset write a letter and mail it. What an absolute waste of time and money!Never again!
What a sad place. Overpriced blinds sold slowly to men and women who do not know how to install their own. Long line of people wanting to either return items or complain about installation. Feel free to walk around aimlessly before before mortified with sticker shock! My two cents-ences------> Buy online. Install yourself.
Very poor service the 1st time I walked into the store.Salesman did notshow me all the choices available regarding shades. The 2nd timeI was in the store to make changes to my original order, the saleswoman was very helpful. She showed me other choices which I should have been shown on my initial visit.Like day and night.
Anthony Jones was an excellent salesman who took the time to explain what treatment would work best with each window.Their selection was very limited and the discrepancies in final pricing made by the POS system created an extra ordinary long time to resolve and while the sales person seemed concerned, the mgr who appeared to be very task focused, neglected to have dialogue relating to the annoyingly long wait time. The error is still not resolved and no phone call by the close of business. Very disconcerting experience.
They have a nice selection of window treatments, but their prices, even on sale were high. We asked our sales person to give us a price on 7 items and when we saw the total we were surprised and then it became even more so when we got home and discovered he had only priced 6 items.
Had a broken blind which we bought at your store. Went to Carl Place Store with the thought of I have to buy a new BLIND wrong. Went in was greeted with open arms information taken said will call you by Wednesday(5/27). I said how much they said NOTHING i was surprised. Was called on Tuesday (5/26) your blind is ready for pick-up Was ready just as I was told it would be. HOW CAN A PERSON NOT BUY FROM A BUSINESS THAT STANDS BEHIND THERE PRODUCT. ANDIF SOMETHING GOES WRONG NO CHARGE

2022-06-30Professional, polite and extremely competent order taking, measuring and installation! Great product for the money! Light and airy woven wood shades. Love them! The only drawback was they took 3 months to come and it’s hard to get anyone to look into the status. I kept getting sent to a central phone where the person was completely useless.

2022-07-16The installation process did not go well. Apparently the factory sent the wrong blinds for my order. So now one of my windows is left with no shade. Im told i have to wait a week for the correct blinds to come in. Another one of the blinds were installed lopsided and is extremely noticeable. Not pleased at all.

2022-03-20The easiest and most pleasant experience I could have wished for. From our first visit to the showroom to make our selection the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The pricing was competitive and we actually received a credit when the measurements were finalized.Through the entire process we were kept updated and the shutters arrived on time. The installer, Chris was exceptional and did an awesome job leaving the room clean and removing all debris and packaging.All in all a 10 out of 10. Thanks.

2022-05-24I have ordered twice from blinds to go in Carle place. The first time went well enough so we decided to use them again. This second time was a terrible experience. I placed my order in March. They told me my order was put through then for production 1 week later. 4 weeks later I check the status of my order and it says it is on hold. Turns out it was never put through despite the fact I spoke with 3 different people who all said it had been a month earlier. Their customer service dealing with my order was awful. I kept being told some one would call me back and no one would. I spent two weeks trying to get some one to help me. I finally called corporate who did assist me but they said there was no way to expedite production. So my blinds that should have been done in a month took almost 3 months to be finished. The only good part of our experience with them was the installer who was excellent.

2022-07-14I cut my finger with the bottom of one of the verticals. I took a few verticals back to the store and was told, Its not their problem and that I had to call customer service! The salesperson then proceeded to do what she was doing as if I wasnt there! Will never spend my hard earned money there. Its best to go to a small company where they make sure their customers are satisfied with their work.

2022-04-06I purchased my blinds 10 years ago and they have held up beautifully through the years, but the strings were starting to cause the blinds not to go down all the way to the window sill.I asked a friend who installs these types of Blinds and he suggested I call the store because he was sure that they had a lifetime guarantee and would restring if necessary. I was delighted to hear from the store that, YES, they would restring. An installer came quickly to remove them and told me I should have them back in a week. Here was the problem…..the installer had to be paid in cash and no receipt given…nice guy, but no receipt. When I called the store, at least 8 times, only two times did a “real” person answer the phone, other times, messages went unanswered. The two people who did pick up acted as if They couldn’t find my order and only after pressing them, did each one say “the factory is backed up” and they would get back to me…..well….no one has gotten back to me. I am now going in PERSON to find out where my blinds are!!!!! Really bad service and lack of contact!!

2022-06-18I am so disappointed with Blinds to Go and the customer service department! I had ordered my blinds 3 months ago . I am waiting for 2 small blinds and there as not been any follow up emails in months and weeks !!!!You call the local Long Island office and the phone rings forever and when they answer they put you hold for another 15 minutes to find out that your order won’t be coming for 2 more months- I am so unhappy with this company and all I am asking for is a courtesy follow up email or a delivery date?!!! Wish I had something positive to say !!! Bye !

2022-04-09Though it took a few weeks for my order to be completed, the preliminary measuring of the windows and the installation was quick and efficient and the blinds look great. Matt was very knowledgeable and did a professional job. Would recommend.
