Installer came within estimated time frame and quickly put up the blinds. They look great and are well worth the investment! I definitely recommend Blinds To Go.Two months ago I had shutters put in with some blinds and decided to finish the upstairs with this most recent installation.
Richard that installed the blinds was awesome and I appreciated his commitment. Although Nicole sold me the blinds it was another woman whose name begins with an “S” that helped me get exactly what I needed. They were nice and I was disappointed with Justin because he gave me wrong dates and times for delivery and when the blinds were delivered to BayShore it was never explained that I would receive emails from BayShore to get my blinds. Very poor communication. Overall my blinds are in and the way I wanted so I am pleased.
We had a very pleasant experience at the showroom. We ordered 6 blinds and paid for installation. 1 of the blinds was damaged and had to be sent back now I have a open window on the bottom floor in my daughters bedroom and I was told I have to wait at least 1 week to pick up & put in. The other issue was a valence was damaged & has to be replaced. The whole process took about 6 weeks & the blinds are not cheap I expected them to get it right the first time.
Sivan was tremendously helpful when I came in to Blinds to Go. She informed me that my blinds had a lifetime warranty and could be repaired and so I brought them back a few days later. She had them fixed and returned to the store in a day and they were as good as new. Excellent customer service and I will definitely buy from them again. Thank you Sivan!
To whom this concerns,The Installer Bob was very nice, worked in a professional manner, wore a mask in my home when requested to, explained operation and what to expect with the products.Product took a long time to come in- ordered Sept, didn’t arrive till Nov.Ordered pleated shaded for most of the windows- they do not level easily on standard size windows as well as larger ones. This did not occur with similar shades from another company in my previous home.Purchased faux blinds for 2 windows - valance bar came in to short, returns did not fit.(according to my installer). Called to complain to Patchogue store. After explaining what occurred with valance, had to argue in order to get these replaced. Patchogue store(Justin) Ended up charging me $40 for new valances with custom sides. Outrageous!!Will never use or recommend this company again. Only nice thing, was Jim, the installer.
We purchased $2500.00 worth of motorized blinds and ordered them installed. I was told I needed 115 volt outlet before they came, I did the installer came . At this point after they were in the installer told me my electrician needed to connect the 12 v blinds to the 115v . This requires an converter only available by special order. Can you explain why it didnt come with the unit or told about the adapter. I have thousands of blinds neatly rolled and not usable for a month.
Ordered 4 window treatments out of the 14 needed. Just wanted to make sure we loved them. Ordered October 29 and 3 were ready to pick up in January. My guess is they forgot to order 1. We were told before thanksgiving they would be in. My biggest problem is 3 are adjoining and they used two different cords on them. Two metal and one plastic that doesn’t slide easily. Very difficult to open and close and it’s the bigger middle one. The two sides are the exact size and one is narrower then the other. It’s now February 7 and out of frustration I checked online order tracker and apparently now in store. No email text or phone call. I called and complained about cords 1/18 and I was told to take pictures and email to store. Still no response. Besides all that why on earth do the glue stickers to the bottom of cloth shades that leave a sticky residue. The missing one I already bought one somewhere else because it was my daughter’s bedroom and couldn’t leave empty anymore. The shades look nice and I would’ve bought for the remainder windows but I definitely will not be using blinds to go. Customer service is terrible.
We are so happy with our BTG experience. The design consultant Sivan was knowledgeable and patient with us! We received text updates and reminders about appointments. We received a time frame of an hour for the appointments,much more convenient than a 4 hour window. Jason was on time to take the measurements and for the installation. Our new solar shades look beautiful, are good quality, and worth the investment. We will certainly go back and would highly recommend BTG.
My 15 year old son and I went in to look for window treatments for his bedroom renovation. The process went so smoothly, especially compared to what we had just endured at Home Depot which was an hour and a half of my life that I wont get back. We walked in and were about to write our name down on the clipboard but Sam called us over immediately to help us because there was no wait. We were pretty sure that we wanted cellular shades and we had a paint swatch sample that we were trying to match or get as close as possible to. We werent even in the store for 20 minutes, we told Sam exactly what we wanted, blackout or room darkening cellular shades. Sam took us right to the books and we actually found a color fabric that was a perfect match to our paint sample which was important to us because we were trying to make my sons room feel bigger. So by having the shades the same color as the walls that helped tremendously to make the room feel bigger because there is no contrast. I provided the dimensions, we went over the options. The sample that we chose only came in cordless and I was a little leery about that since its my 15-year-olds bedroom that theyre going in. So I asked about the warranty and Sam said it was LIFETIME! So that totally put me at ease about having cordless shades in my sons room, If the mechanism that makes it go up and down breaks then they replace it. So I asked for the price, they were having a 25% off sale so I was in my glory that we wouldnt be paying full price. I needed 2 shades, the same 2 sized blackout shades that I had just got quoted for at Home Depot were half the price at Blinds To Go! Before paying I asked my son if he saw any other options that he may want to consider and he went over to the wood and faux wood blinds. We looked at colors and there was a grey that was very close in color to our paint swatch but then I mention to him that blinds wont be blackout & that made the decision for him. He really wanted his room to be as dark as possible in the mornings because where his new bed was placed in the room a sunbeam comes thru his window and is laying across his face between 6am - 8am. So we verified the measurements, I signed and paid and we were out the door in under 20 mins. I remember as we were leaving I was saying well that was painless! and I was saying that because of how bad our experience was that we just had at Home Depot. I picked out three different brands of shades there and then sat down to get pricing and look at the books to pick out the colors and options. They only had one book out of the three brands to look at so one of the blinds I was getting quoted was being priced out because one of the display samples was a color match to our paint sample. However because they didnt have the book we couldnt verify the name of the color to ensure that was the right one to order it. So in Home Depot I would have to have ordered the one that we liked blindly without verifying the color name and they wanted $350 for two blinds the sizes we needed and I thought that was outrageous. I had also asked about the warranty for those three brands and the sales associate had no knowledge of a warranty and also could not find any paperwork that mentioned the warranty for these three brands. At that moment is when I decided we were not buying from Home Depot and we werent even going to go to Lowes for fear that it would be the same issue and so I drove us right to Blinds to go. They really do have the best selection and you can see what it is youre ordering You dont have to worry about them not having the samples for you to see and feel before you place your order. I received a text and email when the shades were ready, Sam had quoted 7 business days and they were ready for pickup in 6. I am now considering getting blackout shades for my bedroom and my daughters bedroom. Currently we just have curtains and we would like something with blackout since we see how nice it is in my sons room. Save yourself a headache and time and just go right to Blinds to Go.
Placed $500+ order for three roller shades. BTG did not bother to check if my order was correct before I picked up my order! Supplied the WRONG brackets/End Caps for one of the roller shades. Had to return to the store and even though I called in advance and was told I could pick up proper brackets/end caps, when I arrived, the store did not have the end caps. The response was That Happens. Then I was told it would take a week to get the proper end caps mailed to me. Now I have to wait another week because BTG did not check to make sure my order was completed properly! Check EVERY part of your order BEFORE you leave the store or you may be on the receiving end of That Happens!!!
Prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service was provided at the store . Someone came about to measure and then to install the blinds at my home in a timely manner. Every step of the process was smooth and efficient. I ended up here after waiting to speak to someone at Home Depot for over 20 minutes.
Ordering and picking out blinds was easy and staff was helpful The problem was with the installer and the installation, he was very late and did a rush job and his measuring was a little off and a blackout blind was crumpled some Company reached out to me to correct any issues but I haven’t responded. We love the blinds just make sure you are happy with installation
Blinds to go are terrible I bought all my blinds from them for my new house. They told me there guaranteed for life. Well they are all breaking. I called and they told me I have to take them down myself and bring them in. I am not strong enough to do that. They want me to pay to have someone come and take them down. They do not care about there customers all they care about is money. I would never buy from them again
The staff is helpful and courteous. Good quality shades and blinds. the store carries a large variety of shades, blinds and curtains, and the completion and the delivery of the items is rather quick. I have bought several items and have been very happy. Highly recommend Blinds To Go
The sales experience was fine, nothing special, nothing awful. However the experience after our purchase was awful. No one ever answered the phones, the staff was clueless, our order was in stock when we placed it and then we come to find out AFTER the majority of our order is complete that the main window covering we needed was on back order for over three weeks. This was a careless mistake and we were not offered any compensation for the wait. When I finally called on the date they told me the final blind was finished, it had been delivered to them and I was never notified. If I had not called who knows when I would have received a call. Also, the store was closed from December 25- January 3. I was unable to pick up my order that was initially available because of their schedule. I work in retail and I was back at work the day after Christmas! Very inconvenient. Will not return to this location for future purchases.
Products are beautiful. Pleasant experience purchasing and setting up order on initial visit. Customer service in store wasn’t so wonderful when order wasn’t exactly what i expected.End product after all is said and done is wonderful. Our installer was amazing and accommodating.
We recd excellent advice and helpful ideas from our salesman. The blinds we ordered were ready so quickly. We have decided on the same blinds for another window and door.. after that we spoke to our salesman for more advice for bamboo shades for the LR !! A GREAT JOB !! We had a great experience overall. I always thought a stand alone store would have very expensive blinds, but after seeing the commercial on television I figures why not give them a try and am very glad we did. The service was great, shipping was very fast and instillation was very quick and easy.I have already recommended them to family members!
I went in and asking if they can reinstall my window blinds. A Design Consultant, Tiffany was very nice and helpful. She provided me with three hanging brackets and told me to call one of their Installation Services man to come to my house to reinstall the blinds. Great people and great services.
My wife and I visited two days ago on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to view all the window coverings they offered and place our order for three sets of custom shades in about one hour. Thats pretty impressive.Our shades are due in to that store in a day or two. Again impressive.
The process of buying the blinds went without a hitch. Design consultants are well informed and very helpful. However, to contact the showroom after the order was a nightmare. The phone system they have tells you to call back after 4 rings then hangs up!! You cant leave a message or get to speak to anyone. The first time was to call to pay for the blinds and it took way too long to get a hold of someone and when something went wrong I had to spend 2 hours to try to get through to a consultant. Horrible system!!! Not happy and will not be using them for the rest of the houses blinds. Its a shame because its a fixable problem.
Horrible experience!! I went in asking for a 74” blind for a double window. I allowed the sales girl to talk me into ordering 2 seperate blinds. Which would of been fine, however, the sales girl didn’t do the correct math in dividing 74” into 2. So I received the wrong size blinds. After calling the store & speaking with them and also calling customer service and speaking with them, they both informed me there is nothing they can do and I am stuck with these blinds. The did offer me 20% off if I would like to spend another $300 and reorder the blinds at the correct size!?! Are they kidding... I will never spend another penny in that store! I trusted the supposed blind “expert” to know her job and correctly place my order and when she made a mistake the company should’ve rectified the situation, not told a customer it was there problem!
The person who installed the shades made 7 holes in the wall which were not needed because he installed the shades in the wrong place. Now I have all these holes in the wall which are visableAs of this date there has been no offer of compensation or a resolution to this matter. If this was the first time I had shades installed by them I would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
Went in and looked at what I wanted before bothering anyone and then wrote my name on the list to be helped. No one ever said hello or after waiting for 30 minutes did anyone say “I’ll be right with you” zero sense of urgency and clearly no clue what good customer service entails. Ended up leaving after waiting 45 minutes. I’ll go somewhere where they at least friggen acknowledge you!
When I picked up my order I didnt open it, but I should have. I was missing a slat. I called the store and the sAles man said thats surprising. I was promised my slats in 3 days well its been a week and no phone call S to where my slats are. Will never buy from Blinds to Go again. Very dissatisfied customer

2022-08-16Nicole was very patient and extremely helpful with giving me direction on what colors and tier shades to buy.. Installation was on time and excellent. The only complaint is that the shades did not look finished on the ends. For the price they could have finished them with color matching caps.

2022-08-07This is the second time within three months we used Blinds to Go. We were so happy with remote controlled Roman shades, we investigated Plantation shutters. Such a knowledgeable staff and installers. Many options to choose from and in record time. I’m sure eventually I’ll be doing the whole house with this superb quality company. Thanks to Sivan for consult and Justin and John with installation and the rest of the staff with appointments etc. I highly recommend this establishment.

2022-06-15DO NOT USE BLINDS TO GO, ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I have been placing orders online for over 20 years, this has to be the absolute worst company ever. We placed an order for blinds online at 9:30 pm. My husband and myself went over the order several times to ensure the order was correct. Received a confirmation email the following morning. Called right away, cause the order was wrong. We ordered 4 blinds all together. Two of one size (2 side windows), one (door) size, and one (kitchen window) size. We also named the blinds, as the site asks you too. Upon reading the confirmation email, the order stated I would be receiving 2 door sizes, 1 side window, and 1 kitchen window. The names of the doors/windows were completely different from what I had labeled them as well. When speaking to the representative (Amy) and trying to figure out how this could have happen and how to fix it, she repeatedly stated that it was our mistake, that “they don’t make mistakes and there was nothing they could do, that it was already in production.” Less the 12 hours later, (production starts after 48 hours) in the times of company’s being short staffed all over the country, she’s telling us they were all ready in production. We asked to speak to a supervisor and was first told “she was on an other line” then later “she was not in today.” Then I asked when I could speak to a supervisor she answered rudely, “what do you want me to do? Drag her out of her home to answer you?” My husband called back to try to resolve this matter and he was completely dismissed by Amy and she hung up on him while he was speaking. The following day we tried to call back to give them another chance with a nicer representative and the second rep. was just as bad. The rep stated that they couldn’t do anything and that they spoke to production in the morning, yet they did not call me to tell me anything about my $350 order. Completely rude company that takes your money and does not care about the customers at all. Will not order from here ever again. BUYER BEWARE.

2020-08-17Friendly courteous sales person. One drawback. The Tilt Cord is a bit too short. I returned to the store a week later to see if I could obtain a longer cord. I was told I would have to have the blinds sent back to the factory. After installing, I was not about to take them down.Got a call one day after I updated this post. They contacted the factory and will get a new cord without me taking the blinds in. Kudos. Will definitely buy from them again.
